There was a Shuttle Service from Kyoto Station to the Hotel, and both the facilities and our Room were spacious, allowing us to relax and unwind. Although we were worried about the weather, we were able to enjoy dinner on the riverside platform without any issues, and the Tankuma breakfast was also delicious. The selection at the Hotel gift shop and the staff’s service were excellent, so we had a great shopping experience. It is also close to Nishi Honganji Temple, so we could join the morning service and fully enjoy Kyoto.

My wife booked this stay for my birthday. This was my second visit, and since it was my birthday, everyone at Dusit Thani Kyoto gave me such a wonderful welcome. The staff’s warm and thoughtful hospitality made me feel truly uplifted. It’s a lovely hotel I would definitely like to return to. Thank you very much for everything.

This was a repeat stay. I often visit because I have relatives in Kyoto, and this place is great value—clean, with an excellent breakfast and convenient access. I was completely satisfied with everything! This time I came by car, and even leaving it parked for two nights at a nearby coin parking lot cost under 4,000 yen. From now on, this will be my go-to place whenever I come to Kyoto!

I don’t usually write a Review, but I was so satisfied that I couldn’t help myself! This Accommodation is perfect for a trip to Kyoto!! Even though it’s relatively new, the hospitality is flawless—more attentive than many luxury Ryokan. The smile and greetings from the staff member who assisted us were wonderful, and every interaction felt genuinely pleasant. Of course, all the other staff were also excellent. We traveled with an 8-month-old baby, and they quickly provided amenities (a diaper trash bin). They even selected and brought welcome drinks to our Room—almost too kind. Since we made a Reservation the day before, we couldn’t add dinner. But because we ended up snacking while exploring Kyoto anyway, we were honestly full—so it worked out well! And they offer a late-night snack service, which was fantastic. Breakfast was also outstanding—you can make ochazuke or dashi ochazuke, leaving nothing to complain about. The Room was spacious enough that our child could sleep in a separate area. It was quiet enough for us to relax without worrying about noise. The bath was large as well, and being able to top up with hot water at any time was much appreciated. Overall, for exploring Kyoto (especially if you plan to focus on street food or want to take things slow and enjoy the atmosphere), with that location and service, I would absolutely choose this place again next time. I have stayed here several times, and the staff always welcomed me warmly, making it a wonderful stay. This time I also used the restaurant; the food was delicious and very satisfying. The Room had a great view and was very clean. I will stay here again when I visit Kyoto.

I wanted a relaxing stay, so I booked a twin Room for single use. The breakfast was very delicious.

I decided to stay here after making an inquiry beforehand. When I checked in and opened the Room door, it felt more like a regular home than a Hotel. I especially liked that there was a microwave, a washing machine, and bathroom drying. I think it’s rare to find a Hotel Room with all three. After taking a bath, I could do laundry and heat up convenience-store meals in the microwave and eat—all without leaving the Room, which was great. The only thing that bothered me was that the space between the table with the TV and the bed was narrow. It was a bit hard to walk through, and it made the whole Room feel small. Still, overall I’m glad I stayed here, and I’d like to stay again if I have the chance.

The check-in location is a few minutes' walk from Kyoto Station, and we were provided with a free Shuttle Service to the townhouse. The amenities were well-stocked, and we could choose additional items next to the reception. The reception staff were very kind and responded graciously even when we contacted them late at night. There is a convenience store within walking distance, and check-out can be done on the spot, making our stay very comfortable. Thank you very much.

Stayed for one night on a business trip. From the moment I arrived at the property, I was soothed by the kind response of the staff. In terms of the facility, there was some noise from the elevator and doors opening and closing at night, but it was not bothersome. Overall, it was a calm space with few encounters with other guests, and I was able to use the large bath in a private state. The breakfast was also delicious. Although it was a short stay, the staff's consistently kind response was impressive, and I was able to spend a very pleasant time.

We used this Accommodation for a family memorial service in Kyoto. We were satisfied with the Facility and the meals. The sliding doors did not open and close smoothly, but it felt nostalgic. The location is hard to find, so we hope to see more nearby photos. A staff member kindly escorted my mother when she got lost.

The spacious accommodation with multiple rooms delighted both kids and adults! Every room, the bathroom, and the kitchen were spotless, making for a very satisfying stay. We rated service a 4 because there was no need to interact with hotel staff after check-in. Traveling with children, having separate spaces for sleeping, dining, and relaxing was fantastic. The fully equipped kitchen allowed us to enjoy delicious meals using frozen food from the convenience store. The amenities and capsule coffee were perfect and absolutely amazing!

It was my first time staying at a private lodging, and the serene Japanese-style space combined with modern amenities made it very comfortable. The underfloor heating in both the living room and dressing area was a nice touch, making me want to visit again during winter. One downside was that when I called the day before, the phone response felt unprofessional. Since older guests may also use this Facility, I think this aspect could be improved. Given that it is a luxurious Facility, such details are likely expected as well.

The Room had a bath with a washing area, which was great. Close to Kyoto Station and Nishi Honganji, making it convenient. It is more affordable compared to other Hotels, and I would like to stay again.

We stayed with three children, and thanks to the kind and friendly staff, we were able to relax and enjoy our time. The meals were also very delicious. Thank you very much for taking such great care of us.

It was clean and had everything we needed. We stayed for a Multiple Night Stay, and even after returning from a tiring day of sightseeing, we were able to rest well and enjoy sightseeing the next day at this wonderful Hotel. If I have another chance to visit Kyoto, I would love to stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay. There was a convenience store nearby, and we were satisfied because we didn’t notice any traffic noise or other disturbances. If I had to mention one thing, the facial cleanser didn’t lather well and was difficult to use.

No Meals Included. I found this place based on the number of guests, an in-room bath, and its fairly convenient proximity to the station, and it worked well for my stay.

I stayed at Oriental Kyoto Rokujo during my time in Kyoto. The Accommodation had a calm atmosphere throughout, was very well cleaned, and made for a truly comfortable stay. The guest room was simple yet functional, with a streamlined layout that felt relaxing and allowed me to rest well after a full day of sightseeing on foot. What stood out most was the staff service—kind and attentive without being overbearing—which made the stay feel reassuring. The entire Hotel was quiet, and I think it’s a great place to enjoy the serene pace that feels so characteristic of Kyoto. It’s convenient for both sightseeing and business trips, and it’s a Hotel I’d like to stay at again.

The Room was clean, spacious, and the sunken kotatsu table made it wonderful. The amenities were also well stocked. The bath had a soothing hinoki scent and was very relaxing. The pet rules were not overly strict, so we could spend time freely in the Room, and our pet felt at ease as if at home. The meals were also very delicious. It was a very satisfying trip, and we would like to stay again.
