Because our previous stay was so enjoyable, we returned. The Room, service, and hot spring Facility were all very comfortable. Both dinner and breakfast were prepared in a way that really highlighted the quality of the ingredients. The sweets in the Room and the herbal tea before bed were soothing for both body and mind. It’s been a long time since I’ve slept so deeply and felt this well-rested. Maybe it’s just my imagination, but my skin even seems to be in better condition. We would love to stay again.

I enjoyed the shojin ryori (traditional Buddhist vegetarian cuisine). The meal was plentiful and very delicious. The morning service and the guided explanation were also wonderful experiences.

It was hot in Kyoto, so I really appreciated how close it was to the station! The Room was clean and I was satisfied, and the staff were very kind, making my stay comfortable.

I’d heard this hotel was recommended even by locals in Kyoto, so I’d been wanting to stay here—and I finally did on this trip. A perfect 5 out of 5 almost feels impossible, but no matter how hard I try, I can’t find a single thing to complain about. The location and convenience are flawless! From the hotel’s basement level, the subway ticket gates are right in front of you, and JR and Keihan lines are also connected via underground passages. Breakfast was just as delicious as everyone says. I’ll definitely keep this hotel on my shortlist whenever I stay overnight in Kyoto.

This was my first stay here, and I felt thoughtful attention to detail throughout, making it a very comfortable experience. First of all, the location—right in front of Kyoto Station’s Hachijo Exit—is extremely convenient. Even with large luggage, getting around was easy, which was a huge help on this trip. Inside the Hotel, the lobby is spacious and there is also a guest-only lounge, which I really appreciated for relaxing. The lounge is accessed by tapping your Room key card, and there is a wide variety of drinks available—not only coffee but also options like matcha latte—free to enjoy. You can even take drinks back to your Room, and I was surprised that the lounge could be used even after check-out. It’s a wonderful service that lets you relax until the very end. And what I especially loved this time was the large public bath. It was kept very clean, with thorough cleaning and well-stocked amenities. During my stay I used it three times—in the evening, at night, and in the morning—and it was pleasant every time. You bring towels from your Room, but just in case you forget, spare towels were prepared at the entrance as well. I really appreciated this kind of consideration for those “small inconveniences.” I felt this is a Hotel that not only has excellent Facilities but also pays close attention to every detail so guests can enjoy their stay comfortably. I liked my stay so much that I would definitely like to stay here again when visiting Kyoto.

I’m always grateful for the wide variety of breakfast options here, and I’ve also noticed that many areas—such as the baths—are barrier-free, which is very reassuring. I’d like to stay here again in the future. In particular, the Onsen doesn’t have rocky, uneven surfaces, so I don’t have to worry about slipping or falling.

The interior was refined throughout, and we also appreciated being upgraded at check-in—it really showed Daiwa’s thoughtful hospitality. It was only for one night, but we’d love to stay again if we have the chance. Even after checkout, they kindly stored our luggage, which allowed us to enjoy a short visit to Tofuku-ji Temple. With such a convenient location, this was especially helpful—my wife was very grateful. Thank you for a wonderful time in Kyoto. One small suggestion regarding amenities: only green tea was provided in the Room, and we would have appreciated having black tea as well.

Located almost right by the station, this is a wonderful Hotel—clean, modern, and with an artistic feel. Every staff member who assisted us was pleasant and welcoming, and the dinner at KIZAHASI was especially delicious. The breakfast restaurant offered fresh, plentiful ingredients—nothing to complain about. We were also thrilled to be able to stay in Kyoto at this price during Silver Week. Since it was my wife’s birthday, thank you very much for all your thoughtful consideration; she was truly delighted. We would love to stay again.

We arrived by car, parked at the Hotel, and walked five minutes to AEON to watch an evening movie and have dinner. The breakfast area was spacious and clean, with counter seats by the window (the view is only of the parking lot). The scrambled eggs were delicious. It was also great that we could watch YouTube as a guest. We will stay again.

This was my third stay. The location is convenient, the rooms are well cleaned, and it was very comfortable. The breakfast had a wide variety of options and was delicious. Both the Room and the large public bath were clean and well maintained throughout the property, making for a very comfortable stay. The breakfast offered a good variety of Japanese and Western dishes as well as desserts, and we were very satisfied. There was also Shuttle Service to and from Kyoto Station, so we didn’t feel any inconvenience in terms of access. It exceeded the price, and we were extremely satisfied.

This was our second stay, as my wife—who loves Kyoto—requested, “If we’re staying in Kyoto again, it has to be Granvia.” We stayed in a Granvia Twin room. Through the large glass window directly in front of us, we enjoyed a wonderful panoramic view of Kyoto Tower, Higashi Honganji Temple, and the cityscape. The room was just the right size for two people to relax comfortably, and the amenities and facilities provided both a special travel experience and the comfort of home. Everyone who assisted us with check-in and check-out at the lobby, luggage storage and retrieval, as well as staff we passed on our floor, offered pleasant service that reflected true professionalism, making our stay extremely comfortable. Most guests—including those who seemed to be visiting from overseas—were calm and considerate, so even brief interactions in places like the elevator or lobby became enjoyable moments and great experiences. We had a truly wonderful time. My wife was very satisfied and is already saying she wants to stay here again next time. It’s an excellent hotel that exceeded its price.

I stayed here on a business trip to Kyoto, and it was close to Kujo Station, so I had a very comfortable stay. I plan to use it again on my next business trip to Kyoto.

I stayed here last year and had a great experience, so this was my second visit—and I was very satisfied! First of all, all the front desk staff were very kind. The pillow bar was also much appreciated. This time I noticed that the large public bath has three types of showerheads to choose from, which was fun. The bed mattress was very comfortable as well, but the sound from the air conditioning or possibly the bathroom ventilation fan? was a bit loud and bothered me during the night. Shower caps were only available in the large public bath, but I wanted to use one for showering or washing my face in my Room too, so I wish they were available at the amenities bar. However, when I asked at check-in this time, a kind front desk staff member brought me one. Breakfast is always plentiful as well. I enjoyed various kinds of tempura and takikomi gohan even in the morning. It’s right in front of Kyoto Station, but since it’s a small Hotel, there aren’t any noisy tour groups, which is a relief. The next day I stayed at a certain Resort Hotel in Osaka (priced at 2.5 times this one), but in terms of amenities and provided shampoo and other toiletries, this Hotel was actually better. If you’re not looking for on-site restaurants, a spa, or a gym and just want Accommodation with good value for money, I think this place is excellent.

I found this hotel as a nearby alternative when the hotel I had in mind was fully booked at the last minute. It was very comfortable. Above all, the bed firmness was just right, and I slept soundly. The large public bath was also great. I was told that gowns were available in front of the elevators if needed, so I went to my room thinking I wouldn’t need one—but there were no pajamas. Then I realized “gown” meant sleepwear, so I went back down to get one. The room was clean, there’s a convenience store next door, and the front desk staff were kind and welcoming. I’d like to stay again. Thank you very much.

This is my second stay. I truly appreciate the free cancellation until 10:00 a.m. on the day of arrival. Due to personal circumstances, there’s always a chance I may suddenly be unable to stay, so I have to be very careful when making a Hotel Reservation... But with this policy, I can plan my trip with peace of mind. I hope you can continue offering it without attracting irresponsible last-minute cancellations. Even if I ever have to cancel, I will definitely stay again next time. This time as well, although it was in the annex building, it was quiet and I was able to rest comfortably. Amenities are available for guests to take what they need, and the Room comes with a low pillow and a blanket. There was also deodorizing spray and a humidifier, which I really appreciated. I will stay again.

Conveniently located near the station, and the staff were very kind! The welcome drink was excellent, too. The Room was spacious and very comfortable. Just one thing… unfortunately, the air conditioner’s filter cleaning indicator light was on, and although I’m not sure if it was related, there was a rattling noise from the air conditioner during the night (auto filter cleaning?). Since I could open the window, I didn’t use the air conditioner. Other than that, everything was truly great, and I’d like to stay again.

I was scheduled to give a lecture at the Uji Botanical Garden in June and stayed here at that time. Unfortunately, heavy rain led to the training being canceled, so I visited sightseeing spots such as Byodo-in Phoenix Hall before heading home. This time, I had another lecture at the Uji Botanical Garden. Since I had stayed here before and knew the amenities were well stocked, I didn’t bring any toiletries with me. Last time it rained, but this time the weather was clear. The day before, I visited Tofuku-ji Temple and Fushimi Inari Taisha Shrine and arrived at the hotel in the evening. After stretching my legs and taking a break, I searched online for recommended dinner options nearby. I also knew there was a supermarket close by, so I bought bread and tea for lunch on my lecture day. Then, based on good reviews, I had dinner at a nearby restaurant that grills hokke over charcoal. The next morning, since I knew there was a convenience store near the station, I went there to buy breakfast. There is coffee available at the front desk, so I enjoyed a cup as well. When heading to my training session after checking out, they kindly stored my change of clothes and other items at the front desk upon request, which was very helpful. After the training session, I picked up my luggage from the hotel and returned home to Osaka from Keihan Uji Station. Twin room used as single occupancy. It would be nice if the hotel offered something like a breakfast buffet. The room was clean and comfortable, and I had a relaxing stay. Thank you very much.
