This trip was mainly to visit Ise Grand Shrine, Toba, and Futamiura. I was especially looking forward to visiting Futami Okitama Shrine and seeing the Meoto Iwa (Wedded Rocks), so I searched for the Accommodation closest to the shrine and chose “Oishiya.” From the very beginning, I was impressed by the exceptionally courteous and pleasant service. From arriving by taxi through check-in, being shown to my Room, dining, and even the Shuttle Service to the station after check-out, everything was handled in such a welcoming way that it made for a truly wonderful trip. To the proprietress, manager, attendants, Shuttle Service driver, and everyone at Oishiya, thank you very much. Dinner was a charcoal-grilled seafood kaiseki course. Starting with appetizers and sashimi, the main dishes featured an abundant selection including abalone, squid, turban shell, other shellfish, and vegetables. Being able to enjoy abalone both grilled and as sashimi made it an especially luxurious meal. The meal was so plentiful that I’m sorry I ended up leaving one dish unfinished. I also appreciate the attendant’s thoughtful consideration regarding dessert. The view of Futami’s sea from the panoramic bath was exceptional—I enjoyed it many times: before dinner, after dinner, and early in the morning. The location of this Accommodation is also perfect for accessing Futami Okitama Shrine. After check-in, after dinner, at sunrise time, and after check-out, I was able to visit a total of four times—it meant so much to me. Every view was wonderful, but the scenery at sunrise was truly unforgettable. Staying at “Oishiya” made this an outstanding trip. If I have another opportunity, I would love to stay again. This Room is highly recommended for anyone who wants to enjoy a trip with a sense of history and charm. The entire Room was exceptionally clean—so much so that it made me wish I could live in a home like this. It was also a real highlight to see how everyone who assisted us carefully and lovingly conveyed the concept of this Accommodation. Breakfast was thoughtfully prepared, with dishes that reflected local and traditional flavors, leaving both my stomach and heart happy from the morning. Not only is the Accommodation itself wonderful, but I also hope you’ll take in the atmosphere around it as well. Every shop and street has its own charm, and you can truly feel the kindness of the people and the pleasant air. It became a place I genuinely want to visit again. Thank you for such a wonderful trip where we could stay at a great Accommodation and meet such lovely people. I won’t forget this connection.

In mid-May, the three of us—my mother in her late 80s and my husband and I—stayed here. Throughout our stay, the staff, including the proprietress, showed thoughtful care for my elderly mother, and we are truly grateful. The cuisine made the most of fresh seafood from Ise Bay, Matsusaka beef, and seasonal vegetables from Mie Prefecture. Each dish was carefully crafted and delicious; even my mother, who usually eats little, enjoyed her meals. The bath overlooking the beautifully maintained Japanese garden featured a gentle Onsen that felt kind to the skin, and we were able to relax and enjoy it many times during our stay. We stayed in “Tochi,” and were able to spend a comfortable time at ease in a Room richly finished with wood and on an open veranda. The Japanese garden was stunning; there were many hydrangea buds during our visit, and imagining how beautiful they would be in bloom made it all the more disappointing to leave without seeing them—but it was still an outstanding trip.

This was my first stay, and the Room was spacious and very relaxing. The in-room bath and open-air bath were wonderful and felt amazing. Dinner offered a wide variety of dishes, and I was full and satisfied—it was delicious. I’d love to visit again.

I stayed here for a concert at Sun Arena!! Even though it was before check-in time, they kindly let me leave my luggage, which I really appreciated! The Facility was well maintained, and the Room was clean. Above all, the hostess (?) was very kind and considerate, and although it was a short stay, it made my trip very comfortable!! Thank you. It’s close to the station, so it’s also convenient for sightseeing!!

We stayed as a couple specifically for the host’s guided tour, and thanks to it we were able to make a very satisfying pilgrimage. Thank you very much. Without the guide, I don’t think we could have felt this level of satisfaction or fulfillment. At each key point, he gave careful explanations and taught us what kinds of prayers are appropriate for the deities enshrined there. That was extremely important for our visit. As for the Accommodation, since it is rented as an entire house, it felt just like staying at home. We truly felt at ease and were able to sleep soundly. As a devoted fan of Toba Grand Hotel—and as “Captain Donguri”—please allow me to share a few ideas with affection: 1) Extend lounge hours (until 11:00 p.m.) Spending time in that sophisticated lounge atmosphere is exceptional. If guests could enjoy complimentary drinks until 11:00 p.m., the evening would become an even more special memory. 2) Revitalize the retro game arcade & festival-style corner If an energetic “festival corner” were added to that nostalgic, welcoming arcade area, it would surely become a signature spot where adults and children alike can have fun across generations. 3) Seasonal limited-time “all-you-can-eat fruit” buffet feature For example, “all-you-can-eat strawberries” in early spring or “all-you-can-eat melon” in summer—having seasonal highlight events at the buffet would help attract repeat guests year-round and generate even more buzz. Of course, I fully understand that the working environment for your staff and operational considerations must come first. With that in mind, I would be grateful if you could keep these ideas in mind simply as one fan’s dream of what would be wonderful if it could be realized. With Toba Grand Hotel’s potential—and the passion of your staff—I truly believe you will continue to be the overwhelming No. 1 Hotel in the region without question. A great Accommodation for visiting Ise Shrine. They kindly allowed us to park our car from 11:00 a.m., which we really appreciated. Highly recommended.

I rated the bathroom 4 because there was no Onsen or large public bath, and it was a unit bath combined with the toilet.\nHowever, it was close to the station, the breakfast was healthy and delicious, and services such as snacks and drinks as well as luggage storage made my stay very comfortable.

I stayed here with my mother in her 80s. From the moment we arrived, we felt thoughtful attention to detail, and it left a wonderful impression. Enjoying a delicious cheesecake while looking out at the ocean was lovely, and we ended up relaxing in the lobby for quite a while. We stayed in two Japanese-style Rooms, which were spacious and comfortable, and the futons were exceptionally cozy. In the evening, there were unexpected activities like roasting marshmallows and watching fireworks, which became great memories. We only had breakfast, but it was elegantly seasoned with light flavors and generously featured ingredients from Mie Prefecture—everything was delicious. The portion size was just right. The baths were kept very clean, and all of them—including the open-air bath and pearl bath—were truly relaxing. The staff’s courteous service also made a great impression. We chose Shiojitei to celebrate my mother’s full recovery, and I’m glad she enjoyed it. I would definitely like to stay again!

I stayed here the day after a concert, and it exceeded my expectations. The Facility was very clean and comfortable. There was also a large public bath and a sauna, so I could relax and unwind. Dinner was served in a calm dining area, and the dishes made with seasonal Mie ingredients were delicious. All of the staff were kind as well. It was also convenient to have a supermarket right in front of the Hotel.\n\nWhen I come to Mie for another concert, I’d like to stay here again.

This was our first visit. I saw my mother, who usually never asks for seconds, get another serving of rice for the first time. The food was truly delicious. Not only the cuisine, but also the heartfelt service made us very happy, and we were able to spend a wonderful time. My mother immediately started planning our next trip, saying, “Next time I want to bring the whole family.” We visit Ise Grand Shrine every year, so we would love to stay with you again next year. Throughout our stay, we truly appreciated the refreshing, genuine Japanese hospitality and attentive service. The meals were just the right amount for a couple in our 50s with lighter appetites, and being served in our Room while maintaining high quality was excellent. We were also grateful for the thoughtful support when we had an issue. Just before checkout, someone passing by even helped carry our luggage, which showed how well trained the staff are. The price was on the higher side, but we received service worthy of it and enjoyed a very fulfilling vacation.

I stayed here for an away trip. I urgently needed ice from early morning, and I wanted to buy several 2 kg bags in advance at a supermarket. When I asked if the Hotel could keep them in the freezer overnight, they kindly agreed without hesitation, which was a huge help. Their thoughtfulness and consideration for guests were excellent. If I have the chance, I would like to make a Reservation again, and I will recommend it to my friends. When searching with a navigation app, it may guide you to the parking area inside the building at the back, but there is also plenty of parking by the main entrance on the front side.

Thank you for your hospitality. The omelet service at breakfast was delicious. This Accommodation is conveniently located near the station and easy to access. The Room was compact, but I slept very well.

Thank you for taking care of us on our first visit to Ise Grand Shrine. The parking lot was free, spacious, and reassuring, and the Hotel Facility was very clean. The Rooms were divided among six buildings connected by covered walkways—an uncommon style. However, the building I stayed in was close to a wide road, and since my Room was at the very end, I could hear traffic noise until late at night and found it hard to sleep, which was a bit disappointing. I regret not requesting a quieter Room when making the Reservation. That said, the Room was comfortable to stay in, the large public bath was relaxing, and I enjoyed a hearty buffet breakfast (thank you for offering it free for guests), which helped me start my second day at Ise Grand Shrine feeling great. Thank you very much. I’ll stay with you again when visiting the Ise area—next time, please give me a quieter Room (lol).

All the staff were very kind and attentive, and we felt comfortable throughout our stay. The views from the Room and throughout the Hotel were wonderful, and we enjoyed a lovely time along with delicious meals. This is a Hotel we would definitely like to stay at again when visiting Toba.

This year, my wife invited me, and we stayed here for a birthday trip for our son and me. Compared to a year ago, there were more international staff members, and we could really feel how hard everyone was working. This year again we chose the [Premium] Chef’s Selection featuring spiny lobster, abalone, and Matsusaka beef. The sashimi was exceptionally fresh and delicious—we were very satisfied—and the other dishes were also creative and tasty. The Room was a Shiracho-kan Japanese-Western style room; it was easy to use, well cleaned, and very comfortable. The Onsen temperature suited my preference perfectly, and since it was Friday there seemed to be fewer guests, so I could enjoy it almost all to myself, which felt wonderful. We are satisfied every year, but this time two things stood out: the Matsusaka beef shabu-shabu didn’t have the same impressive flavor as usual, and the toilet (washlet) in the Room felt quite old and wasn’t functioning fully. We would like to stay with you again in the coming years as well—thank you in advance. Thank you very much.

I was satisfied. The Room felt a bit old, but it was great that the power for the refrigerator, air conditioner, etc. did not turn off even when I left the Room. The steak at dinner was delicious and I wouldn’t get tired of it even if I had it every day. The toilet is small, and adjusting the fixed-direction shower takes a bit of ingenuity, but those are minor quirks.
