In mid-May, the three of us—my mother in her late 80s and my husband and I—stayed here. Throughout our stay, the staff, including the proprietress, showed thoughtful care for my elderly mother, and we are truly grateful. The cuisine made the most of fresh seafood from Ise Bay, Matsusaka beef, and seasonal vegetables from Mie Prefecture. Each dish was carefully crafted and delicious; even my mother, who usually eats little, enjoyed her meals. The bath overlooking the beautifully maintained Japanese garden featured a gentle Onsen that felt kind to the skin, and we were able to relax and enjoy it many times during our stay. We stayed in “Tochi,” and were able to spend a comfortable time at ease in a Room richly finished with wood and on an open veranda. The Japanese garden was stunning; there were many hydrangea buds during our visit, and imagining how beautiful they would be in bloom made it all the more disappointing to leave without seeing them—but it was still an outstanding trip.

This trip was mainly to visit Ise Grand Shrine, Toba, and Futamiura. I was especially looking forward to visiting Futami Okitama Shrine and seeing the Meoto Iwa (Wedded Rocks), so I searched for the Accommodation closest to the shrine and chose “Oishiya.” From the very beginning, I was impressed by the exceptionally courteous and pleasant service. From arriving by taxi through check-in, being shown to my Room, dining, and even the Shuttle Service to the station after check-out, everything was handled in such a welcoming way that it made for a truly wonderful trip. To the proprietress, manager, attendants, Shuttle Service driver, and everyone at Oishiya, thank you very much. Dinner was a charcoal-grilled seafood kaiseki course. Starting with appetizers and sashimi, the main dishes featured an abundant selection including abalone, squid, turban shell, other shellfish, and vegetables. Being able to enjoy abalone both grilled and as sashimi made it an especially luxurious meal. The meal was so plentiful that I’m sorry I ended up leaving one dish unfinished. I also appreciate the attendant’s thoughtful consideration regarding dessert. The view of Futami’s sea from the panoramic bath was exceptional—I enjoyed it many times: before dinner, after dinner, and early in the morning. The location of this Accommodation is also perfect for accessing Futami Okitama Shrine. After check-in, after dinner, at sunrise time, and after check-out, I was able to visit a total of four times—it meant so much to me. Every view was wonderful, but the scenery at sunrise was truly unforgettable. Staying at “Oishiya” made this an outstanding trip. If I have another opportunity, I would love to stay again. During our trip to Ise, we stayed at this Ryokan in Toba and had a truly wonderful time. From the warm welcome on arrival, the bus driver’s cheerful conversation helped us relax and made us feel comfortable from the very start of our journey. At the Ryokan, the Onsen was exceptional. I was so happy that my skin felt silky smooth that I ended up soaking six times—I couldn’t have been more satisfied. The staff also kindly gave us detailed advice for sightseeing the next day. They even considered train schedules, which helped us make the most of our limited time. Of course, we were completely satisfied with everything—the view from our Room and all of the meals. In every moment, we felt the staff’s thoughtful attention to detail, and it was clear that they are consistently well trained. Finding a Ryokan that genuinely made me think, “I want to stay here again,” is one of my favorite memories from this trip. Thank you very much to all of the staff. When we visit Ise and Toba again, we would love to stay with you.

I stayed here with my mother and nephew on a trip for three. We were able to relax in a separate Room, and we could also borrow colorful yukata. This trip was to help cheer up my mother before she begins medical treatment, so it was truly wonderful. Breakfast was gently seasoned, and it seemed my mother was able to enjoy plenty of it as well. Thank you very much for your hospitality. This was my second stay. The Onsen in the Room is silky and wonderfully relaxing. All the staff were very kind, and I also enjoyed a variety of snacks and drinks in the lounge. I look forward to visiting again.

This was my first stay, and the Room was spacious and very relaxing. The in-room bath and open-air bath were wonderful and felt amazing. Dinner offered a wide variety of dishes, and I was full and satisfied—it was delicious. I’d love to visit again.

We had an amazing trip—played to our heart’s content in the pool, enjoyed all three types of baths, and left completely satisfied after a hearty buffet meal! We stayed as three generations of family. The kids’ room had a variety of board games and a ball pit, and we also enjoyed complimentary drinks in the lobby—everything was taken care of. We highly recommend it. The staff were courteous and attentive, and we’re truly grateful.

This year, my wife invited me, and we stayed here for a birthday trip for our son and me. Compared to a year ago, there were more international staff members, and we could really feel how hard everyone was working. This year again we chose the [Premium] Chef’s Selection featuring spiny lobster, abalone, and Matsusaka beef. The sashimi was exceptionally fresh and delicious—we were very satisfied—and the other dishes were also creative and tasty. The Room was a Shiracho-kan Japanese-Western style room; it was easy to use, well cleaned, and very comfortable. The Onsen temperature suited my preference perfectly, and since it was Friday there seemed to be fewer guests, so I could enjoy it almost all to myself, which felt wonderful. We are satisfied every year, but this time two things stood out: the Matsusaka beef shabu-shabu didn’t have the same impressive flavor as usual, and the toilet (washlet) in the Room felt quite old and wasn’t functioning fully. We would like to stay with you again in the coming years as well—thank you in advance. Thank you very much.

The property has been renovated and feels exceptionally clean. The front desk, guest rooms, and restaurant all offer breathtaking views. If it had an open-air bath, it would be perfect.

All the staff were very kind and attentive, and we felt comfortable throughout our stay. The views from the Room and throughout the Hotel were wonderful, and we enjoyed a lovely time along with delicious meals. This is a Hotel we would definitely like to stay at again when visiting Toba.

My spouse and I stayed for a Multiple Night Stay (2 nights) on the Standard Plan. The Room was spacious and very clean, and we were able to relax in great comfort. The guest room had an indoor bath, but the complimentary 45-minute private open-air bath was truly wonderful. Being able to soak side by side at our own pace was the highlight of our stay, so we hardly used the indoor bath. The open-air bath also had a lovely atmosphere and became a great travel memory. The meals exceeded our expectations. Every dish was delicious, with plenty of variety—we were completely satisfied. It was especially memorable to see my wife, who usually eats lightly, enjoying far more than usual, which shows just how good everything was. Since it was a Multiple Night Stay, we expected similar meals each day, but on the second night we were impressed by a completely different course featuring grilled oysters, fried oysters, and Matsusaka beef sukiyaki. What stayed with us most was the spiny lobster miso soup at breakfast on the second day. Although it was small in size, it used one whole spiny lobster—an indulgent dish that tasted amazing and remains unforgettable. The staff’s thoughtful attention and warm hospitality were also excellent, making our entire stay pleasant from start to finish. Overall, this Accommodation exceeded our expectations in every way. When we visit Toba Aquarium again next time, we would love to stay here again.

At dinner, the proprietress came to speak with us, and when we mentioned our 30th wedding anniversary, she gave us a wonderful handwritten gift that truly moved us. We were so happy. We have it proudly displayed at home. The unexpected present became a very special memory.\nThe views from the Room and the dining area were exceptional as well.\nAt breakfast, we also had the chance to chat with a staff member from our hometown. This was our first visit with three people, including an elderly guest. Thank you for offering to lend us a wheelchair as soon as we arrived. Our Room was a top-floor Japanese-Western style room with a great view, and being close to the elevator was very helpful. The meals were thoughtfully prepared and delicious. The only disappointment was the open-air bath: the stairs leading to it were too steep, and it felt so quiet around there that it was a little unsettling to go alone even during the day. All of the staff were extremely polite, friendly, and cheerful, and we truly appreciated your hospitality. Thank you as well for your consideration regarding the wheelchair. We think this Accommodation is very easy to use for families with small children and for elderly guests. We would like to stay here again when we visit Toba.

My daughter and I had a wonderful stay. Everything we ate was delicious, and we enjoyed a very filling meal—simply the best! We were really looking forward to the baths; it was raining on the first day so we couldn’t use the open-air bath, but the rain stopped the next morning and we were able to go in. The view was amazing! If I had to say one thing, I would have preferred the bath temperature a little lower—it felt quite hot. Still, we’d love to stay again. Thank you very much.

As soon as we entered, the ocean spread out before us—it was so beautiful and truly moving. The Room also had an ocean view, and we were able to relax and enjoy a peaceful stay. The food was delicious, and the staff were very kind and attentive. Thank you very much.

First, take the ferry from Toba to Toshi Island—an amazing, travel-filled experience. (Be sure to park your car in the First Parking Lot and bring the parking ticket to the Accommodation.) If you contact them in advance, they will provide Shuttle Service to Wagu Port. I wanted to buy chirimen, so I walked from Toshi Port; it’s also very close on foot from Toshi Port. The chirimen shop in front of Toshi Port is highly recommended. The Ryokan feels a bit inconvenient due to its older exterior and the lack of an elevator, but inside it is clean, and both the Room and the large public bath have been renovated, making for a very comfortable stay. From my Room, I enjoyed a luxurious time just gazing at the sea beyond the fishing port. The Onsen doesn’t have a view, but it’s clean; even after soaking for a long time I didn’t feel tired, and my skin felt wonderfully smooth afterward. I liked it so much that I ended up bathing four times during my stay. For dinner, I upgraded to include Matsusaka beef steak and shabu-shabu, and also ordered abalone sashimi as an extra dish. The spiny lobster and sashimi were fresh and springy; the extra abalone had a wonderful ocean aroma and was outstanding. Everything else was well seasoned and delicious too. Breakfast featured an incredibly rich spiny lobster miso soup—I ate far too much rice first thing in the morning. Excellent value for money—truly fantastic. The owner, his son, and all staff were very pleasant throughout my stay, making my island time comfortable from start to finish. Thank you very much. Next time I plan on bringing fishing gear for a Multiple Night Stay—thank you again in advance.

The food, the Room, and the warm hospitality from the Hotel staff were all wonderful—we were completely satisfied. Everything we ate was delicious. The spiny lobster sashimi and assorted fish sashimi were very fresh and truly excellent. The Matsusaka beef was amazing, the abalone was delicious, and all of the other dishes were great as well. It felt very luxurious. The breakfast horse mackerel mirin-dried fish was tender and incredibly tasty, and even the seaweed—smoked over charcoal—was thoughtfully prepared. The complimentary breakfast coffee service was also excellent. The coffee machine was a De’Longhi. In the Room, there was a De’Longhi Icona kettle, Narumi coffee saucers, and quality sweets (Shell Raines)—everything provided was top-notch. We were able to relax in our guest Room with an open-air bath. With an ocean view and the sound of the waves, we enjoyed a truly special escape from everyday life. Thank you as well for responding so quickly to an unexpected issue. We learned a lot about true hospitality here. We would love to visit again.

After deciding “This is the place!” on social media, I looked forward to my stay. Having the seafood grilled by an ama diver, I had never seen such a large abalone before. I tried abalone liver for the first time—it was delicious. The turban shell liver wasn’t bitter either, and everything was grilled to just the right doneness. The leftover sashimi was simmered for breakfast the next morning, which was also wonderful. A Ryokan packed with great flavors—I was completely satisfied. Thank you very much.

We stayed as a group of three: two adults and one elementary school boy. As many others have mentioned, the food was absolutely amazing. Even for us, a couple with big appetites, there was so much food that we couldn't finish it all. The fresh sea bream and spiny lobster sashimi were incredibly delicious. The fried shrimp was perfectly crispy with a light batter, served freshly fried. It was even better than the spiny lobster fry we had at a famous lunch spot earlier that day! For breakfast, they kindly made sunny-side-up eggs for me when I mentioned I don't like raw eggs, which was very thoughtful. The owner, hostess, and even their staff (perhaps their daughter?) were all so warm and welcoming. It felt like they truly valued "once-in-a-lifetime encounters." Although the building and facilities are old, everything was sparkling clean, making our stay very comfortable. We were told there wouldn't be a toilet in the room but were pleasantly surprised to find a clean toilet in our room after all. The futons were fluffy and comfortable—perfect for someone like me who has back pain. The bath uses Onsen water that left us feeling warm and relaxed; of course, it was also impeccably clean. If we visit the Ise area again in the future, we would definitely love to stay here again. Thank you for such an enjoyable time!

I wanted to get into Toba Aquarium first thing in the morning, so I looked for the closest Accommodation and chose this one. The building is a bit old, but it has been renovated regularly and is kept very clean, so it didn’t bother me. I really appreciated being able to stay at a reasonable price. The view is oceanfront. The large Onsen bath was also great. The meals featuring local seafood were very satisfying for both dinner and breakfast. All of the staff were kind and helpful!
