We stayed here to celebrate our dog’s first birthday. It was our first family trip with the puppy we had just welcomed home, and we had many worries, but thanks to the kindness of the staff and the well-stocked amenities, we were able to relax and enjoy a comfortable stay. And above all, the meals were delicious!! We had both breakfast and dinner, and both left us completely satisfied—full in body and heart. The Onsen in the large public bath was wonderful as well. The open-air bath in our Room is not an Onsen, but it was spacious and relaxing. Our family has already been saying how we want to come back again soon.

We stayed for 3 days and 2 nights. The Facilities, the staff’s atmosphere, and the meals were all excellent. It was clear that each staff member truly loves dogs and enjoys working here. We would definitely like to stay again.

This was a return visit, and I was delighted that you remembered me and greeted me. Once again, it was a stay that made me want to come back. The free-flowing hot spring water was wonderful, and I stayed warm long after my bath. I also truly appreciated the thoughtful touches, such as the proprietress kindly offering extra yukata and towels. Every dish was genuinely delicious—not only the sashimi and simmered dishes, but even the rice left a strong impression. I was told it was “Milky Queen glacier rice,” and it was sweet and pleasantly chewy; the rice itself felt like a feast. The dried fish at breakfast was also grilled to crispy perfection all the way to the head, and I ended up eating it neatly to the last bite. I’m grateful for such a delicious meal. Being able to have dinner served in the room is one of this inn’s charms. This time, since I wanted to get some work done in my room as well, I chose to dine in the dining area instead. In that spacious room with large windows—without turning on the TV—I found it incredibly relaxing to take my time and focus on each dish. The chair and table placed in the sunroom area of my room were also perfect for light work and very comfortable. It’s also nice that plenty of coffee and tea are provided. The flowers in the alcove were beautiful and lifted my spirits. The futon bedding was fluffy, too—I slept very well. If I could make just one request, having a power strip in the room would be even more helpful. Other than that, everything was excellent. I’d love to return again for the hot springs, wonderful food, and warm hospitality.

We had a relaxing stay as a couple. The service was excellent, and the property was kept very clean. The meals were especially outstanding, and we could really feel the care and passion of the kitchen staff. Everything was beautifully and thoughtfully presented, and the flavors were superb. We also enjoyed a variety of desserts, which made us very happy. We would love to visit again. Thank you very much.

This was our second stay at Sekiyo. We were upgraded from Taikan and were able to stay in Kangetsuan. It was our first time in a detached guest room, and it was very quiet. From time to time, small birds came to the tree by the window, and my spouse and I were able to relax at a leisurely pace. We also fully enjoyed both the indoor bath and the open-air bath. The meals were wonderful—there were so many dishes that we couldn’t finish them all, and everything was delicious. The attentive service from the room attendant was excellent as well, and we would love to visit Sekiyo again.

I had visited before for lunch and the eel was incredibly delicious, and the atmosphere was wonderful, so I decided to stay here this time as well. From breakfast through dinner, every meal was completely satisfying. Not only the taste, but also everything from the presentation onward was flawless—I felt the lineup of dishes was well worth the price. One small thing: on the third morning there was no explanation of the breakfast menu, and I tried something I thought might be eel sashimi (?), which I’d never had before. Since there wasn’t any guidance, I later found myself wondering what it actually was. Overall, we were very happy with the service and it made for a truly enjoyable trip.

From the warm welcome on arrival to the heartfelt send-off at departure, it felt like a dream. The service was exceptionally attentive, and the food was truly delicious—we were completely satisfied. The hot spring was wonderful; we enjoyed a relaxing soak at night under the stars and in the morning while basking in the sunrise. We will definitely stay again. Thank you very much.

This is my favorite Accommodation, and I’ve returned many times. This time, I stayed in the Geihinkan “Hanafuki” Room and was truly soothed by the spacious, luxurious setting. The view of the waterfall flowing right in front of the Room was especially memorable, and I could relax at a leisurely pace while listening to the gentle sound of the river. The double-sink vanity was very convenient, and it was also a great touch that I could step straight from the bedroom to the private open-air Onsen bath in the Room. Being able to enjoy Onsen whenever I like without any hesitation feels wonderfully indulgent. Because the bedroom and dining Room are separate, there’s no need for futon setup or takedown, so I could stay comfortable and relaxed throughout my entire stay. Meals were served in-room, which I loved—hot dishes arrived piping hot, and cold dishes stayed perfectly chilled, letting me enjoy everything at its freshest. The seasonal tableware and menu were delicious and beautifully presented, making each meal something I look forward to every time. The tea prepared during meals was also excellent and truly calming. I also appreciated all the complimentary services—from free drinks in the in-room refrigerator to drinks and ice cream in the lounge. It was especially nice that towels are provided at the large public bath so there’s no need to bring them from your Room. The large public bath itself is very comfortable, with thoughtful touches everywhere. Above all, every staff member offers such warm hospitality and attentive care. Once again, this stay left me feeling deeply refreshed as I enjoyed a comfortable yet luxurious time. It’s an Accommodation that makes me think “I want to come back” every single visit—I truly love it. I will definitely return again.

We stayed to celebrate my father’s 81st birthday. From the warm welcome at our car, the staff’s courteous and heartfelt hospitality left a strong impression, and we were able to spend the entire stay in great comfort. Not only was every detail thoughtfully taken care of—including arranging a wheelchair—but the all-inclusive offerings were also exceptionally fulfilling, allowing us to relax and enjoy a luxurious time without worrying about the clock. Each dish was beautifully presented and delicious, and together with the atmosphere and interior design throughout the Hotel, we felt quality and attentive care in everything. I’m truly glad we chose this Hotel for such a special occasion as a birthday. I had assumed it might be used mostly by younger guests, but there were many older guests as well, so we could enjoy a calm and relaxing atmosphere. Thanks to everyone’s kindness, it became an unforgettable memory for us. This is a wonderful Hotel that makes us want to return in another season. Thank you very much for your sincere hospitality. This was my third stay, and it’s one of my favorite inns. The beef hitsumabushi I tried for the first time on this visit was absolutely delicious. Being able to step away from the hustle and bustle of the city for a while and enjoy some quiet time makes me feel glad I came every time I visit. I would definitely like to stay again.

We stay here every year in early summer. It’s quiet, and we can relax at our own pace while enjoying the in-room bath whenever we like. The property is close to the museum, and after checking out we always stop by the museum and then head home by walking down through Gora Park. As seniors, we’ve been eating less over time, but the portion sizes here are always just right, and above all, each dish is carefully prepared and truly delicious. The staff are always smiling, with very polite service and language, so we can enjoy our stay comfortably and with peace of mind. It’s probably busy during the autumn foliage season and around New Year’s holidays, but we’re thinking of trying it next time.

Because I have trouble with my legs and found the floor chair in the room inconvenient, I asked whether a regular chair could be provided next time, and they listened carefully and sincerely to my request. [Meals] Once again, the explanations of each dish were very easy to understand. As each course arrived, everything was a delight for both the eyes and the palate—enjoyable and impressive throughout. Both breakfast and dinner conveyed how wholeheartedly the chefs strive to create their best dishes in harmony with the seasons. With details such as information about ingredients’ origins and small hands-on touches like grilling or grating at the table, every meal had variety and a wonderful sense of rhythm that never became monotonous. [A moment in the lobby] While waiting for our meal, we enjoyed tea in the lobby and had a pleasant conversation with a staff member from France who spoke fluent Japanese. We could also feel how brightly motivated—and seriously dedicated—the younger staff members were as they worked. There were many things we learned from everyone on staff. [Hot spring] We were extremely satisfied with both the view and tranquility of the private bath in our room. Soaking at leisure while watching scenery change over time truly feels luxurious. While bathing, I was able to rediscover not only nature’s beauty but also how precious time is—and even learn something new about myself. [Byakudan] Byakudan is a place where its people, cuisine, hot springs, and atmosphere gently welcome every guest. Next time, we hope to visit again in spring. I’d also like to try an esthetic treatment for the first time—so until then, I’ll do my best at work!

We stayed here to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. As soon as we drove up to the entrance, the staff—already waiting—welcomed us with amazingly smooth, attentive service. I was nervous in an unfamiliar place, but before I knew it I was in the lobby with Bach playing softly, looking out at the sea and enjoying a chilled glass of champagne, my excitement building. The space was spotless and warmly appointed, and the selection of sweets, drinks, and amenities showed impeccable taste. The toothbrush was the most comfortable I’ve ever used. Above all, the bath was outstanding. With the window open, listening to birdsong and gazing at the ocean—and because it’s free-flowing—I even tried skipping a rinse-off and body cream afterward, yet my skin stayed moisturized without drying out! At dusk, the view from the lounge was beautiful. The British ginger lemonade was delicious, and we’re especially grateful to the elegant and attentive female staff member who made the lounge so wonderfully comfortable—thank you as well for preparing an orange liqueur for us at the end. Both dinner and breakfast were excellent; not only did everything taste wonderful, but the ingredients and presentation were beautiful too. That said, I couldn’t stop eating bread and butter and ended up too full by the time we reached the main course! Even so, it was cooked perfectly and tasted superb—I finished it all. Next time I’ll pace myself so I can fully enjoy everything through to the main dish. The young service staff were also highly professional and impressive. Even without mentioning that it was an anniversary—and even as first-time guests simply dropping by—we received consistently thoughtful hospitality throughout. Thank you very much.

This Accommodation has become more upscale in recent years and is now a bit of a splurge for me, so I visited this time to take advantage of a great deal. As always, the Onsen was wonderful, the meals were delicious, and the Room was spacious and very comfortable. I was also happy that you remembered my various requests from previous stays. I had a wonderfully comfortable and relaxing stay. Every staff member had a lovely smile, and their service felt truly professional and well trained. There were many international staff as well, but everyone was excellent and spoke Japanese very well. The meals were all delicious and beautifully presented, with perfect tableware and plating. We stayed here on a three-generation family trip. They kindly lent a wheelchair to my mother, who has difficulty walking, and the staff member in charge took wonderful care of us. Our whole family became a fan of them. (Thank you very much.) The hospitality was outstanding, and the baths were very clean. We were able to relax at our own pace. Every dish was delicious, and because meals were served in our room or in private dining rooms, we hardly ran into other guests inside the property. It was quiet and very comfortable. The Scandinavian chairs, reading materials, and small decorative items placed throughout the building were lovely as well—the sense of style was truly exceptional. It’s an inn that makes you want to come back. We would love to visit again in a different season.

The Okinawa Fair and the tuna carving show were amazing! This was our second visit during summer vacation, and it was so delicious that we’d love for you to hold it again next year. The open-air bath in the Room was also very comfortable, and no matter how many times we visit in a year, we never get tired of it.
