I have stayed in Shuzenji at Yagyu-no-Sho and at Sora next door, but this was my first stay at Asaba. 　The moment I arrived and stepped into the entrance, a pond and a Noh stage opened up before me—an overwhelming view. I also noticed the pleasant scent of wood and the crisp, refined air. I assume everything is kept impeccably clean. Our Room was in the second-lowest price range, but it still had a view of the Noh stage, and with two adjoining rooms it felt very comfortable. 　Both the staff member who guided us to our Room and handled check-in, and the attendant who served dinner and breakfast, were courteous yet pleasantly friendly, which helped me relax. Some luxury top-tier Accommodations have staff who make guests feel tense, but that was not the case here. 　Dinner made it clear that each dish was prepared with great care. The soft-shelled turtle winter melon soup and the horse mackerel sashimi were outstanding. However, as others have mentioned, since the grilled dish was sweetfish and the rice was also sweetfish rice, I would have preferred a sea fish for the grilled course. 　I used the large public bath about twice without running into anyone, so I could unwind in peace. The in-room bath was also very comfortable. I spent time in the salon before dinner on day one and after breakfast on day two; it was wonderfully quiet there, so I could relax while looking out over the pond and Noh stage. 　I would like to stay again in a different season.

Once again, I was very satisfied with the cuisine, the Room, and the service, and had a wonderfully relaxing stay. Dinner in particular was excellent and truly outstanding, including the salt-grilled ayu we ordered separately. One request: drinks in the lobby lounge end at 7:00 PM, but it would be appreciated if guests could have a drink after dinner, so I would be grateful if you could consider staying open until around 9:00 PM. In any case, I would like to visit again in a different season and look forward to enjoying your delicious food and sake. Thank you for your hospitality.

I was able to visit again for the first time in 20 years. From the warm welcome onward, the hospitality was outstanding. The food was just as delicious as ever, and I truly hope this authentic Japanese hospitality will continue for many years to come. I would love to visit again soon. Thank you for such a wonderful and happy time.

It was my first stay in six years, and everything had been upgraded! There are more tent sites than before (with fewer trailers), more play areas and events, and an all-you-can-drink option has been introduced! Above all, the glamping area has a wonderful atmosphere, the staff’s hospitality is excellent, and we had a truly enjoyable time! This is my favorite glamping spot—I’ll be back! The Halloween puzzle-solving event was harder than expected!

We stayed during the Obon holiday with six family members and one small dog. First, we were able to complete both check-in and check-out without meeting anyone, and the villa felt very private, so we had a very comfortable stay. The Facility was new and clean, with well-equipped amenities and supplies. In particular, the indoor bath with free-flowing natural hot spring water was wonderful, and both the Onsen and the outdoor scenery were beautiful. The children had a great time playing in the private outdoor pool. Since it was cold, we added a little hot water, but we were surprised to find that it was also Onsen water. If I may make one request, it would have been helpful to have a washing machine. Also, perhaps because it is a new Facility, the towels were almost brand-new, and fine towel fibers stuck to our faces and bodies, which made them uncomfortable to use. However, the Facility was so excellent that our whole family was extremely satisfied. Thank you very much.
