I stayed in a newly renovated Room, and it was wonderful. The in-room perks were excellent. In particular, the all-you-can-eat gelato was an incredibly generous service—perfect after the Onsen—and I enjoyed trying many different flavors. Everything was delicious. The pre-dinner aperitif can be chosen from the menu, and the lounge coffee machine is truly high-quality, so I used it many times. Both the quality and quantity of the meals were very satisfying, and what impressed me most was the staff. There were many young team members, but everyone’s hospitality was outstanding. Some staff members spent a long time chatting with elderly guests because they were approached for conversation, yet they responded without showing any displeasure at all—I was genuinely impressed. You can also enjoy two different types of Onsen water, and I think this Accommodation offers excellent value for money. I will definitely return again. Thank you very much for taking such great care of me.

What I was most satisfied with this time was, of course, the Onsen. The water had a strong sulfur scent—exactly what you’d expect from Manza Onsen. The scenic open-air bath with its incredible views felt amazing, and I ended up going in five times during my stay. I’ve always loved Manza Onsen, and this visit reminded me just how great the water is here. Meals were buffet-style, with roast beef as the highlight. It wasn’t especially luxurious, but considering the Accommodation Fee overall, both the selection and taste were more than satisfying. The all-inclusive plan was also a big plus. Drinks are unlimited, and you can enjoy snacks and ice cream as well. There’s table tennis and other activity corners in the building; on this day, the activity was calligraphy. It was nice to have things to do besides the Onsen, and I could truly relax. The staff were polite and attentive, and the facilities were kept very clean, so I felt comfortable throughout my stay. The Room had both air conditioning and a fan. The refrigerator is empty so you can use it freely. There are vending machines in the building as well, and I appreciated that they also offer a late-night snack service. I stayed in late September, but because of the high elevation it gets quite cold in the mornings and at night. If you’re visiting from now on, bringing an extra layer to throw on will help you feel prepared. If the weather is good, you can also enjoy a beautiful starry sky at night. Rather than coming for luxury dining, I’d recommend this Accommodation for anyone who wants to take their time enjoying Manza’s distinctive sulfur springs, spectacular open-air baths with views, and an all-inclusive stay. Manza’s hot spring water really is outstanding—I’d love to come back again just for the Onsen.

We visited to celebrate my father’s 80th birthday. It was a long drive from Yokohama to Nagano, but this was a wonderful Accommodation that truly made us glad we came. The in-room open-air bath was a little hot and needed some adjustment, but it was clean, spacious, and free of insects. The shampoo and conditioner also left our hair smooth and silky. (Some Ryokan at this level still leave your hair feeling rough.) All the staff who welcomed us were smiling, and during dinner the head chef served the main dish right at our table. Everything was delicious—made with local ingredients and carefully prepared with great attention to detail. On our way out, they even opened the souvenir shop in the main building earlier for us, so I was happy to be able to buy the souvenirs I wanted. My parents were very pleased as well, so we would love to visit again while they are still healthy.

This was my second stay, and I stayed for one night. The hot springs were excellent, with a different water quality from Kusatsu Onsen and a unique appeal of their own. While there isn’t the bustle of a typical hot spring town, there was also a guitar and violin performance starting at 8:00 PM, making it very relaxing to spend time inside the hotel. The dinner and breakfast buffets offered a wide variety of dishes and everything was delicious. The service from the international staff was also very polite, and it felt like they are well trained. I would love to stay again if I have the chance. Thank you very much.

Because it was inexpensive, I stayed one night in a Room without windows. Since there were no windows, it felt a bit humid, but the Onsen was right outside the Room, so I could use the large public bath as if it were part of my Room—it was fantastic. The water at Manza is, needless to say, excellent. If I can enjoy such wonderful water at this price, I would definitely like to stay again.

We visited to celebrate my elderly parent’s birthday. We truly appreciated your thoughtful hospitality, and my parent was delighted. The dishes were beautifully presented and delicious, leaving us energized for the next day. The room was spacious with a wonderful view, and we could feel the arrival of autumn. Elegant flowers were arranged throughout the property, allowing us to enjoy the season as well. Your sense of style is truly wonderful. We’ve been saying we’d love to come again. At dusk after arriving at the inn, I noticed one of the rear tires on our rental car was flat. There was no spare tire, and when I called the rental car office, they told me to drive slowly to a service station or similar place and have it repaired. When I asked at the front desk, the owner kindly listened and even arranged a repair through an acquaintance. As a result, it was fixed safely before checkout—and at a friendly price. Car trouble that suddenly strikes in an unfamiliar place can be stressful. For a moment I thought our sightseeing plans for the next day were ruined, but thanks to their help we were able to enjoy our trip as planned. I can’t thank the owner enough. Thank you so much. About the inn: it’s an older building, but it’s very clean and well maintained. There are lovely fresh flowers arranged here and there in the rooms and hallways. We used one of the private open-air baths—the larger corner bath—in the morning. The view was wonderful, and I highly recommend bathing in the morning! Most noteworthy is how excellent the meals were. The Shinshu Premium Beef for dinner had sweet marbling and was absolutely delicious—I strongly recommend choosing the “Luxury Meal Plan” so you can enjoy it! The sashimi included Shinshu salmon and char (iwana). Both dinner and breakfast featured many delicious local specialties. Thank you for such wonderful meals. We chose this inn somewhat casually for sightseeing in Obuse, but it became a truly great memory. Thank you very much.

This was a wonderful place to stay. First, when I mentioned foods I couldn’t eat at the time of booking, I was surprised to receive an email right away with alternative suggestions. Everyone was very kind. Every meal was truly delicious and beautifully presented, and I was completely satisfied with everything, including the tableware and presentation. The baths were excellent. Including the day-use hot springs in Shibu Onsen, the water quality was wonderful, and I enjoyed soaking many times until it felt like it seeped into my skin. The carbonated spring in the indoor bath was also great. The property was spotless, and both the lounge and baths were always neat and well organized whenever I went. The pillow height and firmness were just right, and I slept very well. Above all, the staff were truly outstanding. They immediately noticed that I had caught a cold and felt chilly, and kindly brought me a lap blanket. They also remembered what we briefly talked about during dinner and even took the time to look things up and share helpful information with me. Thank you very much. From welcome to farewell, I sincerely appreciate everyone’s heartfelt hospitality. I highly recommend this accommodation.

I requested a last-minute change to the number of guests, and Yorozuya handled it with exceptional kindness and professionalism. The hot springs and the room were wonderful, and the meals in particular were delicious—we were very satisfied. All of the staff were pleasant as well. Thank you very much. I visited Shibu Onsen during the quieter period just after the Obon holidays. It was a very clean Onsen Ryokan, with the Room, amenities, and baths all well maintained. The level of service was just right, and I had a comfortable stay. As for the meals, I thought the adult dishes were good, but I wish there had been more creativity in the children’s meals. They consisted of fried foods such as sausages, frozen chicken, and French fries, and my child hardly ate any of it.

This trip was to celebrate my mother’s birthday. She requested to see the Onsen she had visited with my late father during their honeymoon, and also the snow monkeys at Jigokudani Monkey Park. We chose this Accommodation because Reviews repeatedly mentioned the private family bath and a homey, relaxing atmosphere. True to the Reviews, it was a wonderfully quiet and peaceful place. The warm glow of washi paper lamps displayed throughout was beautiful, and we could feel the proprietress’s thoughtful care in every detail. And the food—absolutely delicious! Dinner just kept coming (laugh). Every dish was freshly made and served hot. The best of all was the kake soba hand-made by the chef that very morning. I love soba and visit many places, but I’m sorry—this was truly the best I’ve ever had anywhere. Breakfast also made us happy with piping-hot dashimaki tamago. The highlight of breakfast was the miso soup—I wanted to take home the whole pot. As we’ve gotten older, we choose our trips carefully based on both meals and Accommodation quality, and this place offered outstanding value for money. More than anything, we made unforgettable memories here. On our way out, I bought one of the lamps that were on display at the Accommodation as a gift for my mother. Thanks to you, it became the best birthday present possible. We’ll come again in winter—and again for her birthday next year too. The Onsen water quality, the spacious and open feel, and being able to bathe as a couple made it the best Onsen I’ve ever visited. I enjoyed how the atmosphere changed in the morning, evening, and at night. You buy a bathing garment at the shop and wear it in the bath. It may be a bit short for tall women, so you might want to bring your own. Since we stayed two nights, we went to the Prince Hotel buffet on the second night. The food selection wasn’t very different—just crab and a few additional items, with more variety overall. The Hotel Facility is old and not particularly luxurious, but it’s not expensive, and above all the Onsen is excellent, so I was satisfied.

After reading everyone’s Reviews, we decided to stay at this Hotel! Just as the Reviews said, the Onsen was outstanding. The meals also offered a great variety of dishes, and everything was delicious. Other than the broken TV remote in our Room (we ended up operating it on the unit itself—I’m sorry I forgot to mention it directly), an unremovable stain in the Room toilet, and someone bringing a smartphone into the Onsen (I was very surprised), everything else—at this price for this season, the quality of the Onsen, and the hospitality of your staff—was extremely satisfying. Unfortunately, the weather was bad so we couldn’t go hiking, but next time I’d love to hike from the Maeyama Summer Lift. We look forward to staying again. Thank you very much for taking care of us.

I stayed for one night with my sister. The Room was very clean and well maintained, easy to use, and we enjoyed the in-Room bath many times (we even did laundry!). We had our meals at a charming traditional house restaurant with a wonderful atmosphere. Everything was delicious, right up to the final sushi! Thanks to the warm hospitality, we were able to relax and enjoy our stay. We also really enjoyed the snacks and gelato provided in the Room. We were blessed with great weather, making it a wonderful trip. Thank you very much for taking such good care of us—we will definitely be back!

I stayed for two nights in August and did not experience any major inconveniences. The meals were delicious. The Onsen was spacious, and I was able to relax and enjoy it. The staff were also very helpful. There was only one designated smoking area outside, but it was not particularly inconvenient.

The free-flowing Onsen water pours vigorously from the wall into the indoor bath, and in the open-air bath it cascades like a waterfall from the rocks—something Onsen lovers will truly appreciate. This was my father’s favorite place, and he was very happy. The meals were delicious and just the right amount. On the way to the large public bath, it was fun to see carp gathering where the spring water flows and bathing under it like a waterfall shower. The Room felt refreshingly cool with lush green trees outside. Thank you very much for your hospitality.

The meals were beautifully presented and delicious, and the bath was wonderfully soothing—its gentle water warmed me to the core. The places we visited based on the owner’s advice (a walk and a roadside station) were also excellent. We were pleasantly surprised by the exceptional service of being able to use three yukata per person for a one-night stay, which is something you rarely find elsewhere, allowing us to relax in comfort.
