It was wonderful to experience the atmosphere of a Swiss Hotel. We were glad we could reserve the bath for private family use, and we were able to use it without any waiting time.

After the Obon holidays, we stayed for a Multiple Night Stay of two nights starting on August 17. We found this Hotel at the last minute the day before and were really lucky to get a Reservation. We didn’t have high expectations, but both the Shirakaba Lake area and this Hotel were very lively with many guests. We had heard it was an older building, but it didn’t feel that way much. It was well maintained, our Room had no unpleasant odors, and the toilet had a washlet, which was great. The large public bath was quite spacious, and there was also an open-air bath (the water was a bit hot). Meals were buffet-style for both breakfast and dinner, so we could choose what we liked. Guests who enjoy alcohol were happy with the 90-minute all-you-can-drink option. The dining hall could accommodate many people and had a warm atmosphere. For summer vacation season, the price for two nights was reasonable and we were very satisfied and able to relax. We would like to stay again.

I stayed here for one night during the five-day Silver Week holiday. While other Hotels were expensive, this Hotel was very reasonably priced. I arrived before check-in time, but they kindly accommodated me and showed me to my Room right away. The Facility is old, but it was fine. The freezer compartment in the Room refrigerator was very convenient. The meals were delicious, and we could also enjoy karaoke—everyone in my group was satisfied. This is a Hotel I would like to stay at again.

It was a last-minute trip. We chose your hotel for its panoramic views of the Alps. The special rate after Silver Week was also a deciding factor. The room and bath met our expectations, and the dinner and breakfast buffet exceeded them.

The Room was spacious, allowing us to relax and enjoy time with our grandchild. During the buffet, the staff interacted with us cheerfully and seemed to be enjoying themselves as they waved. The service from the lobby staff, café staff, and dining staff was exceptionally pleasant. We would love to stay again if we have the chance.

I was worried about bath towels after reading that this Accommodation is inexpensive because it doesn’t provide amenities, but when I arrived I found I could rent them cheaply. You’ll need to bring your own toothbrush, paper cups, and similar items. There was body soap and shampoo in the bathroom. They only open the large communal bath when there are groups such as training camps; normally you use the unit bath in your Room. You make up your own futon bedding. The building is old, but the Room was kept clean. Instead of vending machines, there is a clear refrigerator in front of the front desk with water and tea; you can take one freely by leaving 150 yen. It’s right by the lake. When I opened the door it smelled a bit musty, but inside the Room was fine. The staff at reception were kind and friendly—an older lady with a nice manner. Since it’s cheap, I was fully satisfied even if a few things were lacking. The internal phone wasn’t working well, so if you need anything you’ll have to use your mobile phone or go speak to them directly. Turning on the bathroom light took a bit of know-how, but I called to ask and managed in the end.

This trip was our first in 15 years as a couple. Our previous trip included our children, but now that they are grown and we've finished raising them, it was just the two of us. This time, we planned a journey along the Venus Line and chose this accommodation near Lake Shirakaba. The facility was clean, the staff were very kind, and we enjoyed dinner while overlooking Lake Shirakaba. To our surprise, there was an unexpected event at Lake Shirakaba that amazed us—it was incredibly beautiful and moving. It became a wonderful memory for us. If we still have the energy to travel from Kansai in the future, we would love to visit again. Thank you very much!

With the typhoon approaching this time, our family (grandpa, grandma, and two little kids) had the whole place to ourselves, so we could relax without worrying about anyone else. As always, the meals were delicious and very filling. We even received freshly baked breakfast bread as a takeaway, which was perfect for a quick snack on the way home. The kids came for the bunk beds and always end up battling over who gets the top bunk. The bath is also spacious—plenty of room even with four of us in at once. Above all, we really appreciated that the hostess even played with the kids—it was a huge help. The kids said they want to come again.

The meals were very delicious and generously portioned. It was an Accommodation with a warm atmosphere. It was hot back home, but it was cool here, and at night it was almost cold. We had a great trip.

All meals are handmade from the seasonings up, and the koji-based dishes were tender and carefully prepared with quality ingredients. The rich, flavorful game meat was delicious. Our dog also finished all of the venison dish, asked for seconds, and looked very happy.

I stayed just before a long holiday and happened to have the place to myself, so I could relax without any worries. The staff were wonderful and provided attentive service. The homemade fruit liqueurs, jams, and vegetables were delicious—I even forgot to take photos (lol). The only thing that didn’t suit me was the firm pillow, but everything else—the Room, bath, terrace, and more—was lovely. I’d definitely like to stay again. Thank you very much!

Thank you for your hospitality. This is an Accommodation I would love to stay at again. It is located right in front of Lake Shirakaba, and we really enjoyed a quiet early-morning walk by the lake. We came to see the daylilies, but there were plenty of other things to enjoy as well. The owner couple were warm and welcoming, which made us feel at ease. The dinner staff were also efficient and cheerful, making our time even more enjoyable.

The owner was very kind, and I was able to spend my stay feeling warm and welcomed. The price was affordable, and I would like to stay here again next time.

The food was delicious, and we were very satisfied. Unlike a Hotel, there were handwritten notes in various places, and it was a warm, homey pension where you feel close to the owner and other guests. A well-equipped Hotel is nice too, but we also thought it was wonderful to greet other guests in the shared washroom in the morning. We would love to stay again.

The atmosphere was wonderful, and we truly felt the owners’ hospitality. We really enjoyed talking with them. The scent of wood in the dining room was soothing, and the Room was more than sufficient for us. Shirakoma Pond was a bit far from here, but we’re glad we chose this Accommodation.

All the dishes were very delicious, and every member of the owner’s family was pleasant and kindly answered our questions. The bath is an Onsen like a pool, and it was basically assigned a time slot on a first-come, first-served basis upon arrival; there was no second session, which was disappointing for someone who loves baths. The stairs were wet, perhaps because the previous guest didn’t dry off before getting out, which raised hygiene concerns. I understand that things like changing mats may be difficult, but some countermeasures might be worth considering. The Room felt clean, although the windows and other features show their age.

Although it was my first stay, everything exceeded my expectations. The service was kind and made me feel comfortable. I visit the Tateshina area every year for an event, so this is an Accommodation I would like to stay at again.

Parking is one of the key factors for motorcyclists. For large motorcycles, ease of parking can vary depending on whether the surface is paved or gravel. At Hanan, the spacious parking area and the ability to see my bike from the Room provided peace of mind. The meals were delicious, and the stew was exceptional. Thank you for listening to the ramblings of two old men.

It was so cool and refreshing that I almost forgot the summer heat of the city. I think I would have been even more satisfied if there had been a coffee service. I look forward to staying here again!
