Our family stayed for one night. The Room was very spacious and comfortable. Dinner showed great attention to detail, and the wonderful dishes truly brought out the natural flavors of the ingredients. Both the fish and meat were grilled fresh on the spot, so everything was absolutely delicious. The breakfast delivered to our Room also highlighted the ingredients just like dinner, and it was outstanding in both presentation and taste. Above all, every staff member was kind and welcoming, and we had a truly wonderful time. Thank you very much.

Dining and shopping are available at nearby facilities. It was great to have free access to the bath during our stay. The view of Mt. Fuji from the Room was beautiful. Waiting for the clouds to clear was a relaxing moment. The female front desk staff were kind and courteous, and their smiles were wonderful. Breakfast wasn’t crowded, and we enjoyed it very much. I stayed here after climbing Mt. Fuji. I was able to relax in a Japanese-style Room. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of both Japanese and Western dishes, and everything was delicious. I especially liked having an omelet made right in front of me. Parking is free, and check-out is at 11:00, so I’d like to stay again if I have the chance.

The weather was great, and we had a clear view of Mt. Fuji. The meals were delicious, and we were very satisfied. It was disappointing that Fujiyama Onsen was closed.

We made a same-day Reservation during the busiest season on 8/15, and the staff were outstanding and treated us with great care. Our Room was on the Mt. Fuji view side, and both the room and windows were clean, so we had a very comfortable stay. When we saw Mt. Fuji in the clear morning sky, my spouse and I were truly moved! We were also satisfied with the dinner and breakfast buffet. Above all, the staff were exceptional, and we would definitely like to visit again.

First time staying here. The exterior and interior were both very beautiful, and the Room was spotless and felt very clean. The baths were spacious, both the indoor bath and the semi-open-air bath. The sauna was at just the right temperature, and the cold plunge made with Mt. Fuji water was freezing cold. My companions were very satisfied and said they want to stay here again. As the organizer, I really looked good.

Because a Room was available, they upgraded me from the Room I had reserved to a newly renovated, more spacious Room. It was so spotless that I was genuinely surprised. The large public bath had three types of baths and a sauna, and since it was a weekday during the rainy season, I could enjoy it almost privately and relax at my own pace. The ReFa hair dryer, KEYUCA cups, and cute cushions made the Room feel especially appealing for women. I only met two staff members at check-in and check-out, but both were extremely courteous and helpful. I wasn’t traveling for sightseeing this time—I simply wanted an affordable Hotel where I could stay one night alone with access to an Onsen—but it was so comfortable that I’d love to stay again next year with my family.

We chose this Hotel for the final stop of our trip, and the new Room, with its simple yet stylish interior and spacious bath, helped us forget the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Both dinner and breakfast were truly delicious, and you could tell they were carefully prepared. The presentation was not overly flashy but tasteful, and we were very satisfied. Perhaps because everything was so well cleaned, the stately atmosphere of the classic building stood out even more, and simply being in places like the lobby or restaurant lifted our spirits. My husband’s birthday is coming up soon, so I mentioned it in advance; even so, we were deeply moved to receive a message on the dessert plate. For us as an older couple, your heartfelt hospitality made this a memorable trip. We would like to express our sincere thanks to all the staff who assisted us.

It was a comfortable twin Room, and we could even see Lake Kawaguchi from the Room window. The amenities included everything we needed. Dinner was a half-buffet, which made it easy to choose just the right amount. The breakfast buffet let you make your own seafood rice bowl, which made it even more satisfying. I’m only disappointed that I missed the ochazuke time from 9:00 PM (I fell asleep). When visiting Lake Kawaguchi again, I’d like to stay at Breeze Bay again.

After descending from Mt. Fuji in heavy rain, the warm Onsen was incredibly soothing! They accommodated our unusual requests, and we truly felt their sincerity. The hoto for dinner was also absolutely delicious!! Both the international staff and the housekeeping team were kind and welcoming. There were many inbound guests, but I hope this place continues to thrive. When we consulted in advance, they also offered a Shuttle Service, which was a huge help. We like mid-scale hotels, and for us—focused mainly on sightseeing—this is the best value Accommodation! We had a very comfortable stay. Next time, I’d like to visit when the weather is clear enough to see Mt. Fuji.

I’ve stayed here every time I climb Mt. Fuji, and this year was my third visit. All the staff were friendly and helpful, making my stay very comfortable. The bath is spacious, and you can soak while looking at Mt. Fuji—unfortunately it was cloudy this time, so I couldn’t see it. Meals were buffet-style for both dinner and breakfast, so I could choose what I liked. The hoto noodles at dinner were delicious, and the chicken offal stew was a rare treat. The price was reasonable and I was very satisfied. Thank you very much.

Although we arrived late, the staff kindly accommodated us, and we were very satisfied. If I had one suggestion, it would be that the hair dryer’s airflow was a bit weak, so it took longer than usual to dry our hair.

Thank you for the wonderful experience at the end of the year. I requested a hotel with a view of Mt. Fuji, and this one seemed perfect! Even from the room on the second floor, Mt. Fuji was fully visible through the window, and I was deeply impressed by how much I could enjoy and admire it from there! In the past, I’ve stayed at accommodations with views of Mt. Fuji from Lake Kawaguchi (with an open-air bath in the room), but sometimes the angle wasn’t ideal... Here, you can truly appreciate a clear and beautiful view of Mt. Fuji’s shape! I chose a plan with breakfast only, but for dinner, we went to a nearby Houtou restaurant! The breakfast offered both Japanese and Western options and was very satisfying! The biggest gratitude goes to all staff members for their excellent service—definitely 5 stars!!! Although I am Japanese, there were staff at reception who seemed skilled in languages, always smiling throughout our stay—it made me feel so comfortable! Since it was during New Year’s season, they had lucky bags available for purchase; when I bought one, I couldn’t believe how luxurious it was—it felt like such an amazing deal! Thank you so much!!

My mother stayed at this facility to celebrate her 77th birthday, a special milestone. Everyone was kind and provided very polite service, warmly welcoming us. Both dinner and breakfast were carefully prepared, with attention to every dish and sauce. Everything was delicious from start to finish, leaving us feeling truly happy. My mother was also very pleased and had a wonderful time. We would love to visit Auberge Mermaid again in the future. Thank you for creating such wonderful memories!

My spouse, our daughters, and our grandchild stayed here and were very well taken care of. Twin-bed Japanese-Western Room with breakfast and dinner included Separate bath and toilet, two TVs The Room was very spacious and comfortable. You make your own futon. Dinner was prepared in the Room. We were able to eat together at a relaxed pace. Steamed pork and lots of vegetables in a bamboo steamer Rice, three small side dishes, and bite-sized dessert (kuzumochi). Miso soup and tea were brought in a pot. For our grandchild: omurice, potato soup, and vanilla ice cream. There was a slightly larger fridge (freezer on top, refrigerator below), so even guests without meals could stock ingredients for cooking. Cooking utensils and plastic wrap were provided. There were separate trash bins for bottles/cans and burnable waste. There was a DVD player, and many DVDs were available to borrow in the lobby. On the balcony there were chairs and an ashtray. The women’s bath had four washing stations. Shampoo etc. were provided. Hair dryers were available (Dyson and ReFa). There is also a water dispenser. Breakfast was delicious too: Bread, rice, curry, scones, yogurt, dashi ochazuke, etc. On the 1st floor there is the dining area, baths, laundry area, ice machine, vending machines, table tennis, massage chairs— all free to use. There was also a kids’ room. Our grandchild played on the day we arrived and played plenty until check-out the next day. There was a large TV and lots of Yogibo cushions/beanbags. It was our first time staying at this type of Accommodation, but it was really great. Some guests were having BBQs in the garden as well. We’d like to come again. However, maybe because the elevator doors are slightly misaligned, they made an extremely loud roaring noise every time they opened or closed. It made us a bit worried. Initially, I made a Reservation without dinner to attend a live concert at Kawaguchiko Stella Theater, but the Accommodation kindly provided a Shuttle Service to the theater. This allowed me to have dinner at the Accommodation as well, and I was very satisfied. It was extremely disappointing that Mt. Fuji was not visible at all due to the rain.

Thank you for accommodating our request to change the room due to a concern about the smell. The new room had a view of Mt. Fuji, though it was partially obscured by clouds. We managed to capture some photos during the morning when it was visible. We heard that this room has recently been renovated to be barrier-free. The entrance features half tatami flooring, and the low table makes it easy to open suitcases. Although we didn’t use the private bath in the room, there is a large public Onsen on the first floor accessible with a passcode for added security, allowing us to enjoy bathing with peace of mind. The Onsen includes three showers, one baby chair, and amenities such as cleansing oil, face wash, lotion, moisturizer, shampoo, conditioner, body soap, cotton swabs, and cotton pads—all provided for your convenience. Please bring towels from your room when visiting. There were also several electric bicycles available and even some popular bikes on display in what seemed like an exhibition area. In front of the first-floor Onsen area are manga books and various play items available for guests' enjoyment. Yukata robes are provided nearby: sizes include 120cm for children; one size (150–160cm) for women; and options for men as well. While the exterior may appear aged from outside at first glance, inside is very clean with noticeable updates such as new carpets in hallways (at least on floors we explored). The café space on ground level adds charm too! In mornings limited-time complimentary coffee service awaits guests—a delightful touch before heading out exploring locally! On next day’s itinerary included visit Café Mont Blanc nearby—thankful parking arrangements made everything seamless enhancing overall experience greatly! Truly memorable trip indeed thanks again wholeheartedly choosing stay here Fujiyoshida region left lasting impression surely returning future stays accommodations same place!!

Thank you very much for your hospitality the other day. I truly appreciate your kindness, including adding breakfast for us at short notice at check-in and all the other thoughtful help. Regarding an incident in the bath (likely involving an inbound guest), someone left the shower running, left foam on the floor, and kept the door to the open-air bath open. It also seemed that someone wore off with another person’s slippers, so I think it would be helpful to provide guests with a written notice at check-in explaining proper bath etiquette. (As for slippers, attaching numbered clips or clothespins could solve this.) This was an Accommodation where I would love to stay again, so I hope to visit again in the future.
