The room was spacious and clean, with a special bathtub in the private bath, and even onsen water. The meals were all delicious and wonderful kaiseki, with evident extra care in preparation. Our request for in-room dining was granted, making it exceptionally wonderful. Thank you

Everything is thoughtfully prepared. Even though it’s an in-Room bath, it was luxuriously fed by free-flowing natural hot spring water that continuously overflowed. Dinner At check-in they asked not only about allergies but also ingredients I dislike—and accommodated them.

This was my first time visiting Isawa Onsen. The garden had lots of koi, and I really enjoyed the “all-you-can-pack koi feed” activity. I came back again. The welcome cake was a proper cake and very delicious. The tuna at dinner was also excellent. For breakfast, the grape juice

The hospitality and service were very polite as well, though it felt like they may have been slightly understaffed. The guests seemed diverse—couples, families, people of all ages. I felt this is an accommodating Ryokan where you can stay with peace of mind even when traveling w
