Dinner was delightful with playful touches like a dressing inspired by matcha tea. The fish dish was especially tender and flavorful! The wine pairing offered a wide variety of options for a luxurious experience. The staff were exceptionally attentive, making our stay very com

The room was thoroughly cleaned, and we had a very pleasant stay. The temperature of the private open-air bath in the guest room was just right, allowing us to relax greatly. For dinner, we opted for a buffet since we had children with us, and they were delighted and fully satisf

This was probably my third stay, the first in 7 or 8 years. It’s a wonderfully comfortable space with a rare tropical vibe for a Ryokan in Lake Kawaguchi, and a great blend of Japanese and Western Hotel-style design. The open-air Onsen bath feels almost like an infinity pool, wit

The website highlighted the dining, and indeed both dinner and breakfast were as beautiful and delicious as expected. The service was attentive, making our stay very comfortable. The view from the terrace is well worth seeing, so don’t miss it.

Above all, even when simply heading to restrooms at the restaurant, every staff member’s warm attentiveness made me feel truly welcomed by an outstanding team. I’m so happy to have found my favorite Accommodation ever. Since we visited in midwinter, I definitely want to return ag

Dining and shopping are available at nearby facilities. It was great to have free access to the bath during our stay. The view of Mt. Fuji from the Room was beautiful. Waiting for the clouds to clear was a relaxing moment. The female front desk staff were kind and courteous, and their smiles were wonderful. Breakfast wasn’t crowded, and we enjoyed it very much. Thank you.

I made a Reservation because the Hotel had great reviews, and I was very satisfied with my stay. As requested in advance, we were provided with Rooms next to each other, which was very helpful. The Room was clean and well maintained, and we had a comfortable stay. The staff

The staff are kind, and the public bath is clean, making for a very satisfying stay. I initially chose this accommodation because of its great online reviews and stayed here before. I wanted my family to experience it too, so we came back again. My family was thrilled and excited

As expected, I was able to see Mount Fuji up close from my room and was moved by the magnificent view of the mountain. The front desk staff at check-in provided pleasant service, and I was very satisfied as they upgraded my room due to availability. The meals at the hotel res

There is an adjacent parking lot with a FamilyMart nearby and a Seven-Eleven across the road. Within walking distance are Gusto and Don Quijote (and surprisingly an oyster hut in the adjacent parking lot! I wanted to try it but refrained). The location is truly excellent. My son

Free Shuttle Service is available from Kawaguchiko Station. (Pickup requires a Reservation in advance; drop-off can be reserved at check-in.) Both the exterior and interior show their age, but the Room and other areas are well cleaned and kept tidy. The sink felt a bit dated. The Room key was delightfully nostalgic (laughs). I didn’t use the outdoor bath, so I can’t comment on it, but the Room I stayed in had a shower only. It seemed newly renovated and was very clean. (The provided shampoos include both DHC and Ichikami!) Lotion, emulsion, and makeup remover were POLA amenities. I ordered both dinner and breakfast; the portions were generous and everything was delicious! I really appreciated that it wasn’t buffet-style. Hot dishes were served hot. There is a laundry area; detergent costs 100 yen, but the drum washing machines are free to use! (There are two machines.) The staff’s service was excellent! So it felt more like a Ryokan than a Hotel. Thank you very much for your hospitality during my stay!

Fuji, I felt very happy. The same view could be seen from the large public bath on the 5th floor. The meals in the morning and evening are worth the price, but the staff are kind, polite, and friendly, making it a great deal for this price. I will use it again. Thank you

What impressed me the most was the view of Lake Kawaguchi's fireworks almost directly in front of my room. I could enjoy all the fireworks launched from three locations around Lake Kawaguchi, and being able to watch them from a warm room during the cold winter was truly a luxurio

We stayed as a family of five, and the hospitality was outstanding. Although they call it a welcome drink, the drink corner was available almost all day throughout our Hotel stay, and until dinner there was even unlimited sparkling wine. In addition to the dagashi (Japanese snack) buffet service and amenities such as lotion, they also offered rentals like a baby formula maker and board games—everything you could ask for. The manga corner wasn’t just about the number of volumes; it also had sofas and cozy hideaway-like spaces, so we spent blissful time there. There are sofa reading areas and kids’ spaces throughout the building, making it truly relaxing.\nThe breakfast and dinner buffets didn’t use luxury ingredients, but there were many delicious, well-thought-out dishes. Alcohol was also all-you-can-drink, and we could compare local sake varieties. The kids-only buffet area and automatic pancake oven were fun, and we also enjoyed local specialties such as hoto hot pot and Fujinomiya yakisoba.\nThere were many international guests as well, but plenty of multilingual signs were posted around the Hotel, and everyone followed Japanese manners, so there was no stress at all.\nBecause the building has some age to it, it had a Showa-retro feel; however, Facility such as the toilets were updated to modern models, so it didn’t bother us at all for a family trip.\nWe would love to come again with our whole family.

The location offers stunning views of Mount Fuji, and the entire facility is clean and provides a relaxing and tranquil atmosphere. The warm hospitality of the staff was truly touching. Their attention to detail ensured a comfortable stay, allowing me to forget daily stress and f

Stayed with a family of four and one dog. The view from the terrace was nothing but lush greenery, and we could truly enjoy a perfect resort atmosphere. Breakfast on the terrace while listening to birds and insects was incredibly soothing. The garden was spacious, and we were able to play badminton and other games with the kids. The amenities felt thoughtfully selected to include only what’s necessary, which left a great impression. There were washrooms on both the first and second floors, with two hair dryers provided. A washer-dryer and detergent were also available, so we had no inconveniences at all. If I had to mention one thing, as others have noted, the sauna temperature is low so it may feel a bit underwhelming—but considering various factors, I can understand why it’s set up that way. The disposable slippers were nice, and everything was thoroughly cleaned down to every corner—exactly what you’d expect from Rakuten STAY Villa. There is a large nature park across the street where dogs are allowed, so morning walks were very pleasant. Dog supplies are somewhat limited: a few pee pads, two types of food bowls, wet wipes, and something like plastic bags for picking up waste are provided. There wasn’t a dedicated trash bin for dog waste, so we ended up throwing used pee pads into the kitchen trash bin; it would have been nice to have one for dogs. Our whole family agreed that we’d love to stay here again next year.

Thank you for the wonderful experience at the end of the year. I requested a hotel with a view of Mt. Fuji, and this one seemed perfect! Even from the room on the second floor, Mt. Fuji was fully visible through the window, and I was deeply impressed by how much I could enjoy and admire it from there! In the past, I’ve stayed at accommodations with views of Mt. Fuji from Lake Kawaguchi (with an open-air bath in the room), but sometimes the angle wasn’t ideal... Here, you can truly appreciate a clear and beautiful view of Mt. Fuji’s shape! I chose a plan with breakfast only, but for dinner, we went to a nearby Houtou restaurant! The breakfast offered both Japanese and Western options and was very satisfying! The biggest gratitude goes to all staff members for their excellent service—definitely 5 stars!!! Although I am Japanese, there were staff at reception who seemed skilled in languages, always smiling throughout our stay—it made me feel so comfortable! Since it was during New Year’s season, they had lucky bags available for purchase; when I bought one, I couldn’t believe how luxurious it was—it felt like such an amazing deal! Thank you so much!!

We stayed at Villa Ansoleil’s private cottage. Thoughtful touches were found throughout the cottage, and we felt very comfortable during our stay. We were also lucky with the climate and weather, and we could enjoy a front-facing view of Mt. Fuji from many spots around the cottage—absolutely satisfying. I’ve stayed at several Hotels around the Mt. Fuji area, but this was my favorite. Since it was a no-meals Plan, we shopped at a nearby supermarket, and having breakfast while enjoying a luxurious view of Mt. Fuji was amazing! The staff and owner were also very pleasant and helpful, which is another reason this cottage left such a great impression on us. It’s easy to see why there are so many positive Reviews. We would love to stay again and will recommend it to our friends as well. Thank you very much.

We stayed here for one night during our trip to visit Fuji-Q Highland, Lake Kawaguchi, and Lake Yamanaka. It was very reasonably priced and clean, and in the morning we opened the blinds and could see the summit of Mt. Fuji—it was wonderful.

If you just need a place to sleep, there’s no problem. The bed is large, and there is also a bathtub. Even though there is an air purifier, I’m not sure why the Room smells dusty.
