We stayed here for a family trip. Both the baths and the food were excellent. The selection of salads was especially impressive. The staff were also lively and welcoming. One request: please move the smoking area to a different location instead of in front of the dining venue. It was cloudy so we couldn’t see Mt. Fuji, but we’d like to stay again if we have the chance.

It was great that I could take my dog for a normal walk. The Room was also cleaned well, and my dog relaxed without any fuss. The bath had a larger tub than a Business Hotel, and the shampoo and other amenities provided had a pleasant herbal scent. Being able to eat in the Room was also nice because my dog didn’t feel lonely. Even though it has an auto-lock, I accidentally went out without my key, and they came to unlock it for me twice. They helped me without showing any annoyance, which I really appreciated. I’m glad there were places nearby for walks. The cakes from the cake shop just a 1-minute walk away were delicious too.

Older Hotels often have the best locations, so we came looking forward to the stunning combination of Mt. Fuji and Lake Yamanaka—and it was exactly as expected. Because the Hotel is built on higher ground, there is nothing to block the view of Mt. Fuji, and the panorama is outstanding. And on top of that, even during the Obon holiday period, we were upgraded to a suite—thank you very much. When I woke up in the morning and opened the large terrace window, after the previous day’s cloudy weather, a magnificent view of Mt. Fuji suddenly appeared before us. It was a birthday trip with my 92-year-old mother, and she was absolutely delighted. In the evening we enjoyed a full-course French dinner. The staff were pleasant, and everything was delicious. We also visited the café—the dessert made with an entire peach cost just 1,000 yen including tax and service charge! It was incredibly tasty, great value, and we were very satisfied. The building is undeniably old, but our stay was very comfortable. Lake Yamanaka may be less well-known among the Fuji Five Lakes, but it’s quiet and we really loved it. We would like to visit again in autumn to enjoy the fall foliage.

Our family of three (two adults and one older elementary school child) stayed here. The Facility was exceptionally well maintained throughout—spotlessly clean and beautiful everywhere. It was a wonderful place I can confidently recommend to others! Here are the highlights that impressed us, along with a couple of small points we noticed. ◯ Highlights Beautifully balanced meals: The ingredients prepared in the refrigerator were the perfect amount—not too much, not too little. The colors and presentation were lovely, everything felt very clean, and we were excited even before eating. The selection of complimentary drinks included in the Accommodation Fee was also excellent! User-friendly kitchen: The dining kitchen was spacious and easy to move around in, and the grill was simple to use, making cooking fun. A fully equipped authentic spa: Not only a bath, but also a sauna and cold plunge pool—an incredibly relaxing experience. ◯ With hopes for future improvements (why we rated 4 stars) The boundary between indoors and outdoors on the way to the open-air bath was very slippery, so we placed towels down ourselves as a precaution. Guests with small children or elderly family members may want to be especially careful. Moving between the Room, toilet, bath, and dining area requires outdoor footwear throughout, but we found the provided shoes a bit difficult to wear. More slip-on options would make it even more comfortable. That said, our overall satisfaction was extremely high—so much so that these minor points hardly mattered—and it became a great memory for us. We would love to stay again!

The staff provided courteous service, and we had a very comfortable stay. Dinner was especially delicious, and we were able to enjoy it at a relaxed pace in our Room. We visited to celebrate my daughter’s birthday, and after I mentioned it in advance, they kindly served a dessert with “Happy Birthday” chocolate on the plate and even prepared a wonderful gift—we were truly touched. The lounge was spacious, with a great selection of drinks and snacks, which we really enjoyed. The private lounge also had massage chairs, making it easy to unwind. We also enjoyed the large public bath area, including both the open-air bath and the indoor bath. From the rooftop public bath, we could see Mt. Fuji beautifully—it felt amazing. It was a lovely Accommodation full of thoughtful touches. Thank you very much for taking care of us.

I contacted the property to say that I had missed the last bus from Hana-no-Miyako Park and would not make it in time for check-in. They kindly explained a walking route and told me that if I didn’t need dinner, I could take my time and come carefully. Taking them up on that, I had dinner on the way and checked in, where I was greeted warmly. They also helped me arrange breakfast. The Onsen was spacious, and especially the open-air bath—there were no other guests (maybe I went at a good time?)—so I could truly relax and recover from 14,000 steps of walking. In the morning, when I woke up at 4:30, Mt. Fuji was right in front of me—so close it filled my view. With subtle hues, it was breathtakingly beautiful. The morning bath and then breakfast—everything helped me forget everyday life, thanks to all the staff. Thank you very much.

I stayed here with my sisters and mother for a family trip. The interior was beautiful and luxurious, exactly as shown in the photos—we were amazed! The sauna and open-air bath were spotless, and we enjoyed them again and again. We had fun making marshmallows, baked apples, and roasted sweet potatoes at the fire pit, then did a BBQ on the indoor grill. There’s a large supermarket nearby with everything you need, so it’s easy to come empty-handed. The beds were incredibly comfortable too. Our first glamping experience was a huge success—we’ll definitely be back!!

All staff greeted us cheerfully, the guidance was courteous, and they even helped direct cars in the parking lot. The Accommodation was spotless and offered outstanding hospitality. Above all, the open-air bath was spacious, clean, and wonderful—it really helped us unwind. It was a shame we couldn’t go out onto the terrace due to bad weather, but we’d love to visit again on a sunny day. Thank you very much!!

I chose this Accommodation because I was attracted by the in-room sauna, and I stayed here on this trip. All of the staff were very courteous, and I had a comfortable stay. I was also happy that the sauna was already warmed up at check-in, so I could use it right away. Since it was during the Golden Week holiday period, the rate was higher than usual, but my satisfaction exceeded that and it turned into a very fulfilling stay. I would definitely like to stay again. I stayed here the night before climbing Mt. Fuji! The front desk staff, the Facility, and the spaciousness of the room were all flawless. I didn’t use the dining options, but no complaints there either! I’d love to stay again if I have the chance!

We stayed here for a trip to Yamanashi. We stayed two nights, and it was disappointing not to see Mt. Fuji from the first day, but on the last day we could see Mt. Fuji perfectly from the window! There are houses nearby, but it was my first time seeing Mt. Fuji so beautifully and I was truly moved. I think this is a log cabin with a spectacular view. The cabin has a cypress barrel bath, which feels wonderfully luxurious. This time we couldn’t see Mt. Fuji while bathing, but on a clear day it seems like it would be an amazing scenic bath! The public bathhouse directly across the street was also great.

Thank you very much for your hospitality the other day. I truly appreciate your kindness, including adding breakfast for us at short notice at check-in and all the other thoughtful help. Regarding an incident in the bath (likely involving an inbound guest), someone left the shower running, left foam on the floor, and kept the door to the open-air bath open. It also seemed that someone wore off with another person’s slippers, so I think it would be helpful to provide guests with a written notice at check-in explaining proper bath etiquette. (As for slippers, attaching numbered clips or clothespins could solve this.) This was an Accommodation where I would love to stay again, so I hope to visit again in the future. I chose your Facility for relaxation after climbing Mount Fuji. The private and well-equipped space allowed me to fully enjoy my stay! The meals were also extremely delicious.

It was very comfortable. The terrace had a large roof, and there were plenty of tables and chairs, so we really enjoyed the barbecue. The Room was also clean and stylish. Playing tennis on the court right in front was fantastic. However, it was disappointing that our request for a late check-out, which we had communicated in advance, had not been passed along, and the staff member who assisted us was not very pleasant.

I was surprised to find a double bed instead of the two futons in a Japanese-style room as shown in the photo, but it was spacious and not a problem at all. The owner was kind, and both the room and the shared areas were very clean and charming. I was delighted with the delicious breakfast provided. The other rooms are also cute, so I would love to stay again on another occasion.

I stayed in a tent, but having a bath at the front desk was very helpful for freshening up. I will use it again. The deck site was too large for solo use, but the flat floor and protection from the rain were great.

It was my first time staying, and it was quiet with meals served in the Room, allowing for a relaxing experience. However, during my Multiple Night Stay, the service on the second day was not satisfactory, with insufficient replenishment of amenities. There were also times when no staff were available, which caused some concern. The semi-open-air bath was nice but not a free-flowing hot spring; it used a circulation system with low water volume and limited temperature control. Since there is no large public bath available, I think it would have been more enjoyable if the water level had been higher and at least partially free-flowing. It’s unfortunate because it’s such a great location where one can relax quietly.

We visited Lake Yamanaka again for the first time in a while on a family trip. The gas BBQ grill was very easy to use, and we enjoyed BBQ every night during our stay. There were three adults in our group, but it might feel a bit small for four people. The dog amenities were well stocked, including welcome treats, making this an Accommodation that is very dog-friendly. Our toy poodle also seemed to have a great time. With a great location and beautiful views, we could enjoy BBQ while taking in the scenery. Lake Yamanaka is right in front of the Accommodation, so we took morning walks and spent a relaxing time overall. We would love to stay again. Thank you very much.

Thank you for accommodating our request to change the room due to a concern about the smell. The new room had a view of Mt. Fuji, though it was partially obscured by clouds. We managed to capture some photos during the morning when it was visible. We heard that this room has recently been renovated to be barrier-free. The entrance features half tatami flooring, and the low table makes it easy to open suitcases. Although we didn’t use the private bath in the room, there is a large public Onsen on the first floor accessible with a passcode for added security, allowing us to enjoy bathing with peace of mind. The Onsen includes three showers, one baby chair, and amenities such as cleansing oil, face wash, lotion, moisturizer, shampoo, conditioner, body soap, cotton swabs, and cotton pads—all provided for your convenience. Please bring towels from your room when visiting. There were also several electric bicycles available and even some popular bikes on display in what seemed like an exhibition area. In front of the first-floor Onsen area are manga books and various play items available for guests' enjoyment. Yukata robes are provided nearby: sizes include 120cm for children; one size (150–160cm) for women; and options for men as well. While the exterior may appear aged from outside at first glance, inside is very clean with noticeable updates such as new carpets in hallways (at least on floors we explored). The café space on ground level adds charm too! In mornings limited-time complimentary coffee service awaits guests—a delightful touch before heading out exploring locally! On next day’s itinerary included visit Café Mont Blanc nearby—thankful parking arrangements made everything seamless enhancing overall experience greatly! Truly memorable trip indeed thanks again wholeheartedly choosing stay here Fujiyoshida region left lasting impression surely returning future stays accommodations same place!!
