Whenever I visit Toyama, I always stay here. The service is courteous and the breakfast is delicious, so I’m always satisfied. However, the only disappointment is the bath. I understand it may be difficult to install a shower booth in each Room, so I would be happy if you could add a large public bath, even if it’s in the basement. I’m looking forward to it! Please keep up the great work as Toyama’s number one Hotel. Thank you for your hospitality.

I stayed at the accommodation during a business trip. Although I initially used the room's bath out of convenience, my body felt stiff, so I decided to visit the large public bath. As expected from an onsen, it was very relaxing. The breakfast buffet at Route Inn Group is always excellent, and Toyama Inter is no exception. The menu changes daily, making it a traveler-friendly choice for business trips.

The milk was mild, and the wakame seaweed in the miso soup was also tender.

I usually stay at a Hotel near the station, but during the Obon holiday period everything was expensive, so I stayed here for the first time. Since it was much cheaper than nearby Hotels, I arrived with some apprehension, but it turned out to be a satisfying Hotel. It’s more than enough for those who plan to drink nearby until late and just need a place to sleep. Amenities and services are minimal, but the additional Facilities were more than adequate, everything was well cleaned, and I had a comfortable stay. There is a coin-operated parking lot right in front of the Hotel; it wasn’t overly expensive and there were plenty of spaces, so it wasn’t an issue. I would like to stay here again if I have the chance.

I stayed at this Accommodation as the destination for a long solo road trip. The exterior and interior have a nostalgic Showa-era atmosphere—there’s even a barbershop inside the Hotel—and it feels like a dignified, classic Hotel from a good old time. Even the low ceilings, typical of older Hotels, felt comforting and relaxing. As for the Room itself, some furnishings do show their age, but everything was well maintained and thoroughly cleaned, which gave me great peace of mind. I used the top-floor restaurant for breakfast; even the retro chairs were carefully cared for, and you can really tell they’re valued and kept in good condition. The bathroom facilities were well maintained and clean, and things like the air conditioner controller had been updated to be easy to use today. And the in-room TV was a 50-inch smart TV—perfectly comfortable for me since I travel with a Fire TV stick. I enjoyed streaming without any cut-off screens late into the night. Because of work I haven’t been able to travel as often lately, but when I finally managed to make time and plan this trip, choosing this Accommodation as my destination was absolutely ideal. Breakfast was as satisfying as others have written—I ate too much. Newly built Hotels are all modern and spotless and tend to grab your attention, but keeping an older Hotel’s furnishings clean, beautiful, safe, and in good condition takes steady behind-the-scenes effort from the staff every day—and that’s when you truly see what hospitality is all about. If I have another chance, I’d love to visit again with staying at this Accommodation as my main purpose. Thank you very much for such a comfortable stay.

Complimentary ochazuke is provided. There is also a free service of one or two drinks, and a large public bath. I enjoyed my stay.

Directly connected to the station, so you can get there with hardly getting wet even in the rain. There is a large public bath, with separate men’s and women’s baths; just before the split, there are two coin-operated washers and two dryers. Detergent is automatically dispensed. Being by the station, it’s convenient with nearby dining areas such as Wing Wing Takaoka. If you take the pedestrian/bicycle underpass beneath the tracks there is a supermarket, but you don’t even need to walk that far because a convenience store is very close. At bedtime I could hear what was probably a freight train passing by, but it didn’t bother me personally. In Toyama Prefecture, it seems it can be difficult to watch TV Asahi network channels. After checkout they kindly stored my luggage for me, which I really appreciated as I could visit the Great Buddha hands-free.

The bathtub was a comfortable size, and I was able to relax very well.

The large public bath was clean and very nice, and I was able to soak and relax.

Overall, everything was great—the location, the Room amenities, the public bath, and the staff service. We also enjoyed Toyama’s delicious water from the water dispensers on each floor. If I had to mention one thing, around 08:00 the breakfast dining area was very crowded, and since our table was near the entrance, there was a lot of foot traffic and it was hard to eat at a relaxed pace. I expect this could be avoided by going earlier.

I stayed here the other day to attend a sporting event. Although I only needed a place to sleep, I had a comfortable stay. The front desk staff and the breakfast venue staff were both kind and helpful. If I come to Toyama again, I would like to stay here again.

Your hospitality was exceptionally thoughtful and made my stay truly pleasant. Thank you very much.

When I arrived at the Hotel in the evening and checked in, the first thing that caught my eye was the welcome drinks: sake and wine. They were perfectly chilled and excellent. In the morning, breakfast was served on the 12th floor. The Tateyama Mountain Range looked beautiful, which felt like a special bonus. Of course, breakfast was also very delicious.

This was my first time staying in Toyama. I stayed for two nights. The great appeal is the very affordable price. It’s about a 5-minute walk from the city tram stop, which didn’t feel far at all. There is a large public bath that can accommodate several people, and it was nice to relax in the spacious tub. Breakfast offered a good variety, and I enjoyed plenty of it.

I traveled to Toyama on short notice and made a Reservation to stay here. The Room was clean, and all the amenities I needed were provided. There is also a sauna and a large public bath, where you can stretch out and relax. I stayed on the 7th floor, so the view was great, and it was nice being able to watch the Shinkansen from above.

Only smoking rooms were available, so I had no choice, but the cigarette smell is overwhelming from the moment you step off the elevator. If anything, the room itself is slightly better. It’s very disappointing that luggage storage after checkout isn’t available due to limited lobby space. I felt that replacing the square chairs in the lobby with different ones could free up some space.

The Room was clean, and the front desk staff provided courteous service. I’ll be back!

Because we checked in late and checked out early, we couldn’t use the dining pass, so we’d love to come back and try again. The staff member who assisted us kindly introduced a variety of restaurants, and their warm hospitality really stood out. We hope to visit the restaurants we missed next time.

Thank you very much for your hospitality. We traveled with our 6-month-old infant and two dogs, so our options for Accommodations were limited. Here, we were able to use the spacious space freely without restrictions on time, and we had a very relaxing stay. Meals are not included, but since it is located in town, we had no trouble finding places to eat, and the Facility was very clean. When there was a change in the number of guests in advance, you responded kindly and promptly. We would love to stay again.

This trip was partly to revisit Toyama, where I lived for about six months during my first year as a new employee some 30 years ago, and I was truly comforted by this Ryokan’s subtle yet warm hospitality. *My single-person dorm was in Toyama City, and I remember going to Aeon in Takaoka (was it Warner Mycal back then?) to watch a movie. The meals were delicious—I finished the entire rice tub (enough for about 2–3 bowls) and ended up drinking two bottles of beer as well. I was initially concerned about the shared refrigerator and planned not to use it when I made the Reservation, but since the system lets you write your Room number on a sticky note, I felt comfortable using it. To give an honest Review: I did wish the bath were a bit larger, but it was very clean and relaxing. It rained the next morning, but the location is excellent—you can stop by Kawanoeki Shinminato, Kaiwomaru Park, and the famous roadside station Amaharashi Coast (Michi-no-Eki), and still easily drop in at Himi Fish Market Cafeteria. To be frank, I expected to stay here simply because it was inexpensive; however, compared with an Accommodation in Fukui where things only looked good on the surface without matching reality (where I stayed the next day), this Ryokan’s strengths stood out even more. In any case, highly recommended.
