There are three check-in counters, and when I went to the middle one and gave my name, they checked the reservation and said, "Please fill out the accommodation card here," placing the card at the next counter. I feel like a similar situation happened at another hotel before, but I don't understand why they made me move to the next counter when there were no other guests besides me.

I visited this Accommodation because Reviews praised the food as “delicious,” and it truly lived up to its reputation. Every dish was carefully prepared and wonderfully flavorful. The most memorable was the “Yoro-steamed eel”: beneath the eel was a dumpling-like mound of grated yam, gently infused with dashi, making it deeply comforting and delicious. The sake selection also delighted me—Katsukoma in particular brought a smile. This time I chose an affordable “Room assigned on arrival” Plan, but I was shown to a quiet, comfortable second-floor Room with a lovely view. There are two private family baths used in turn, but since the number of groups that can stay per day is limited, it never felt crowded or inconvenient. On the day we stayed, there were only three groups, so it felt especially relaxed. That said, because I had heard it was free-flowing natural spring water (kakenagashi), I may have expected more; the bath did have a slightly strong chlorine smell, which could be a matter of preference. Even so, all staff were consistently kind and attentive throughout our stay, making for an overall very pleasant experience.

Stayed one night with breakfast in a twin Room. The Room was small, but it had everything we needed, and we were able to stay comfortably without any issues. Many Hotels these days seem to provide complimentary mineral water, but perhaps because Toyama has great-tasting water, there was no such service. Instead, the front desk offered free drinks such as coffee and barley tea, which we appreciated. Breakfast had a reasonable selection, though several dishes were empty, which was a bit disappointing. Still, considering the Accommodation rate, it was more than satisfactory. Thank you for your hospitality.

Expecting the accommodations around Chirihama and Ishikawa to be fully booked, we chose an Accommodation a little farther away. It was a very calm Hotel and extremely comfortable to stay in. We ate at a nearby Chinese restaurant. Even after 10:00 p.m., the food was delicious. We would like to stay here again.

When I arrived at the Hotel in the evening and checked in, the first thing that caught my eye was the welcome drinks: sake and wine. They were perfectly chilled and excellent. In the morning, breakfast was served on the 12th floor. The Tateyama Mountain Range looked beautiful, which felt like a special bonus. Of course, breakfast was also very delicious.

I stayed here while sightseeing in Toyama. The Facility is old, but there are supermarkets, restaurants, and karaoke nearby, so it’s more than sufficient for a short stay. The air conditioner didn’t cool well, but they provided a fan.

Overall, everything was great—the location, the Room amenities, the public bath, and the staff service. We also enjoyed Toyama’s delicious water from the water dispensers on each floor. If I had to mention one thing, around 08:00 the breakfast dining area was very crowded, and since our table was near the entrance, there was a lot of foot traffic and it was hard to eat at a relaxed pace. I expect this could be avoided by going earlier.

I stayed for two nights to enjoy the Toyama Bay Cycling Route. Bicycles are stored in the lobby, and I was able to place mine right in front of the front desk. The staff also took care to ensure it was properly supported, so I felt comfortable leaving it there. Being able to store my bike safely is my top priority, so I really appreciated this. The location was also very convenient—just a short walk from Toyama Station. The Room size, Facility features, and amenities were all more than adequate, and I had a comfortable stay.

Thank you very much for taking care of me during my stay. This was a solo trip to an Accommodation I had wanted to stay at for the past 15 years, and my wish finally came true. It’s been difficult to coordinate schedules with family and friends, so I was grateful that solo stays were possible. The beautiful Tateyama Mountain Range and fresh greenery were stunning. The sea is also appealing, but this time my main goal was to relax quietly and enjoy the Onsen. I chose this Accommodation expecting great cuisine and an Onsen experience—and it was absolutely the right choice! Delicious Toyama specialties that more than met my expectations, and I could truly feel the chef’s careful attention to detail. The view of the Tateyama Mountain Range from the in-room open-air bath, along with birdsong, was unforgettable. I was also deeply moved by the warm hospitality of the female staff in the restaurant. The entire property was clean and comfortable, and I slept soundly for the first time in a while. Next time, I would love to visit again with friends or family. Thank you very much.

I traveled to Toyama on short notice and made a Reservation to stay here. The Room was clean, and all the amenities I needed were provided. There is also a sauna and a large public bath, where you can stretch out and relax. I stayed on the 7th floor, so the view was great, and it was nice being able to watch the Shinkansen from above.

I was lucky to stay on a weekday in a single room for about 3,300 yen at a great deal! After making the Reservation, that price was no longer available, so I’m glad I could stay. It was an ordinary and clean Business Hotel. Thank you, I will use it again!

Dinner at the Business Hotel was excellent. I never expected to be served a seafood rice bowl. The rice was just the right firmness, and everyone enjoyed it. However, the miso soup was too salty. Still, I would like to stay again.

It’s not very close to Toyama Station, but it’s an easy walk. There are plenty of casual places to eat along the way, and you can also shop at a supermarket. Toyama Castle Ruins and a park are nearby, so the location is nice overall. (The nearby nightlife area may be a bit of a downside, but it’s fine as long as you don’t take the wrong alley.) Staff are always present at reception, and they can even do your laundry. The service feels polite and attentive. The Hotel exterior looks old, but it has been well renovated, and the Room and bed are spacious. You can borrow a “good sleep” pillow. It’s also great that the bathroom and toilet are separate, which is rare compared with typical unit baths.

Thank you very much for your hospitality. We traveled with our 6-month-old infant and two dogs, so our options for Accommodations were limited. Here, we were able to use the spacious space freely without restrictions on time, and we had a very relaxing stay. Meals are not included, but since it is located in town, we had no trouble finding places to eat, and the Facility was very clean. When there was a change in the number of guests in advance, you responded kindly and promptly. We would love to stay again.

This is the first accommodation that has truly moved me. The sauna was exceptional, offering a luxurious experience that felt almost too indulgent to enjoy with just my family. The view from the window was absolutely breathtaking! The gentle sound of the river flowing in front added a perfect background melody. The manager's warm smile and thoughtful hospitality were also remarkable. It’s an accommodation that heals both mind and body, and I will definitely visit again.

We stayed with a group of 7 at this accommodation. It is a nostalgic traditional Japanese house, but the owner's renovation skills truly stood out, making our stay very enjoyable. Although there were time restrictions, we had fun with outdoor BBQs and campfires at the outdoor BBQ area. The facility also offers indoor options like smokeless roasters for BBQs, hot pots, or takoyaki parties. We look forward to trying these during our next stay! The indoor camping space (kids' space) is designed like a sunken earthen floor area within the building, creating an open and spacious atmosphere with its high ceiling. Being an old-style house, we were initially concerned about drafts or cold temperatures indoors; however, those worries proved unnecessary. The large stove, kotatsu table heater, air conditioning units, and other heating facilities kept us warm and comfortable throughout our stay! If there's one minor point to mention—it was sometimes unclear where guests could access freely since there were no clear signs such as "Staff Only" or "No Entry." Occasionally opening doors led to storage areas or spaces under renovation. Overall though, it was a wonderful experience where we could relax freely without any concerns. Next time we'd love to try staying at their related accommodations YADO2 or YADO3 (scheduled for completion this summer).

The Room was clean and spacious, and the staff welcomed us with warm smiles, making our stay very comfortable. The delicious meals—and above all, the soothing presence of the resident dogs—helped melt away all our daily fatigue. This is an Accommodation we would love to visit again.

R9 has become one of my recent favorites, and I had a comfortable stay here as well. The staff were pleasant and welcoming. It was also great that the popular conveyor-belt sushi restaurant I wanted to visit was nearby (a 15-minute walk). I hope more locations open up, so I’d like to keep using R9 often.

I stayed here after being captivated by the night-view photos of the Onsen. Since this was a family trip with small children, I wasn’t expecting a luxury Ryokan, but because it’s located where you can take in a sweeping view of Toyama City (and even across to Imizu City), I never got tired of the scenery—sunrise, sunset, and night. Honestly, this location is truly one of a kind and priceless; it was far better than staying at some mediocre high-end Ryokan. I’ll upload my clumsy photos, but in person it’s 10 or 20 times more impressive. On the way to the Onsen there is a corridor explaining the history of the Kureha Hills, and I could really feel how much care and affection the staff have for this place and for this Hotel. The Facility is certainly Showa-era in style, but that actually made me feel even more attached to it. I felt genuinely happy to have discovered—and stayed at—this kind of Hotel. I also want to mention the breakfast buffet. Above all, I was amazed at how delicious the rice was. That wonderful white rice with miso soup and grilled fish in the morning—along with sides like okra and vinegared dishes—was something I truly enjoyed. Depending on where you’re going, if you plan to visit Toyama City or nearby Imizu City or Takaoka City, this is definitely a great choice. My kids absolutely loved Kodomo Mirai-kan at Taikoyama Land, so we’ll probably go back to Toyama next year—and when we do, I definitely want to stay at this Hotel again.
