This stay was our long-awaited “revenge trip” after we had to cancel in February because a family member came down with the flu. Because the entire Accommodation is covered with tatami, our family member with mobility issues didn’t need to put on geta or slippers, and we were able to relax without stress. The Room was spotless and well maintained, making it very comfortable, and the view opened straight onto an unspoiled rural landscape. We took a breather with a welcome drink before dinner. Dinner featured an abundance of seasonal ingredients such as red snow crab, roe-bearing sweetfish, and matsutake mushrooms—delighting not only the palate but also the eyes and nose. The large public bath felt wonderfully open, as if an outdoor bath were floating within the garden. Towels were also stacked in front of the bath area, so there was no need to bring them from your Room as is common these days. If I had to mention one thing, I feel it would be more fitting to have towels rather than paper towels placed near the sink in the Room. At departure they even removed leaves stuck to our car’s windshield. There was no pushy “this-and-that” service; instead, their thoughtful attention that reaches exactly where needed was truly pleasant. It was an exceptional Accommodation that made us want to return in another season.

To wrap up our 4-night, 5-day trip to Toyama, we stayed at Nono, conveniently located near the station. This was our second stay, and with its great location, clean tatami-style rooms, delicious breakfast, relaxing baths, and spacious rooms, it offers excellent value for money. We would love to stay here again.

We stayed here to celebrate my father’s 70th birthday. We came for the Onsen, but the meals were also delicious, and we enjoyed a quiet, relaxing stay. Thank you very much.

A two-day stay that felt like stepping into another world. Each room was beautifully furnished, with thoughtful touches that anticipated every need. The birds and insects singing in the garden, the soothing sound of water in the open-air bath, and above all, the chef’s warm hospitality and exceptional cuisine were truly outstanding. This is a wonderful auberge I would absolutely love to return to—and wholeheartedly recommend to anyone.

I stayed at the accommodation during a business trip. Although I initially used the room's bath out of convenience, my body felt stiff, so I decided to visit the large public bath. As expected from an onsen, it was very relaxing. The breakfast buffet at Route Inn Group is always excellent, and Toyama Inter is no exception. The menu changes daily, making it a traveler-friendly choice for business trips.

I tried the natural large public bath during my stay. It was fully booked on Saturday, so I went on Sunday. After check-in, I enjoyed a relaxing soak in the soft, pleasant water. Unfortunately, the restaurant was closed, so we went out to eat. The breakfast buffet was small but well put together—I was able to try a little of almost everything, and it was delicious. There was also a Toyama local foods section. I just wished there had been an ice cream vending machine. I’m planning to stay again next month.

I stayed at this Accommodation as the destination for a long solo road trip. The exterior and interior have a nostalgic Showa-era atmosphere—there’s even a barbershop inside the Hotel—and it feels like a dignified, classic Hotel from a good old time. Even the low ceilings, typical of older Hotels, felt comforting and relaxing. As for the Room itself, some furnishings do show their age, but everything was well maintained and thoroughly cleaned, which gave me great peace of mind. I used the top-floor restaurant for breakfast; even the retro chairs were carefully cared for, and you can really tell they’re valued and kept in good condition. The bathroom facilities were well maintained and clean, and things like the air conditioner controller had been updated to be easy to use today. And the in-room TV was a 50-inch smart TV—perfectly comfortable for me since I travel with a Fire TV stick. I enjoyed streaming without any cut-off screens late into the night. Because of work I haven’t been able to travel as often lately, but when I finally managed to make time and plan this trip, choosing this Accommodation as my destination was absolutely ideal. Breakfast was as satisfying as others have written—I ate too much. Newly built Hotels are all modern and spotless and tend to grab your attention, but keeping an older Hotel’s furnishings clean, beautiful, safe, and in good condition takes steady behind-the-scenes effort from the staff every day—and that’s when you truly see what hospitality is all about. If I have another chance, I’d love to visit again with staying at this Accommodation as my main purpose. Thank you very much for such a comfortable stay.

Complimentary ochazuke is provided. There is also a free service of one or two drinks, and a large public bath. I enjoyed my stay.

The building, Room interiors, and furnishings are all exceptional. It was an unparalleled experience to touch and admire artistic plates and pitchers while enjoying a drink, as if viewing them through glass. The price is indeed in the high range, but it was absolutely worth it. The cuisine was also outstanding. The staff's deep knowledge of art and philosophy was truly inspiring and educational. Although I just returned, I already feel like visiting again. The Facility, including its location, is excellent. Highly recommended for those who love folk crafts. Thank you very much!

I was looking for a room with an open-air bath through online reservations, and among the many options I reviewed, this accommodation stood out as particularly appealing. This was my first time using your service. The online reservation process was smooth. Although the front desk was closed on the day of my stay due to it being a holiday for the ryokan, prior email communication allowed me to inquire and receive polite responses. While I felt that quicker response times would have been even better, I truly appreciated the courteous support. Upon arrival at the accommodation, it exceeded my expectations based on the images I had seen. The room had already been pre-cooled with air conditioning to ensure comfort upon entry. The ambiance of the room was excellent, and attention to detail in its design stood out. The bathroom featured both a regular shower and a ceiling shower, while amenities like shampoo had pleasant fragrances. The provided loungewear for relaxing in-room had a nice texture against the skin. However, I found that using the sink area together with another person felt slightly cramped, and similarly, the toilet space felt a bit tight. The raised tatami area in our guestroom was superbly crafted. If I visit this area again or have friends looking for recommendations, I will definitely suggest this place—and would love to stay here myself once more. Thank you very much for your hospitality during this visit!

The Accommodation is old, but it has been beautifully renovated, and we had a very comfortable stay. We could bring our dog to the dining area, and Child Sharing Existing Bedding with our dog was allowed on the Room bed as well, so we were able to spend the whole time together at the Accommodation. It’s also a great perk that if you agree to post on Instagram, your dog’s accommodation fee will be free from your next stay—such a nice service! It makes us want to come back again!

This trip was partly to revisit Toyama, where I lived for about six months during my first year as a new employee some 30 years ago, and I was truly comforted by this Ryokan’s subtle yet warm hospitality. *My single-person dorm was in Toyama City, and I remember going to Aeon in Takaoka (was it Warner Mycal back then?) to watch a movie. The meals were delicious—I finished the entire rice tub (enough for about 2–3 bowls) and ended up drinking two bottles of beer as well. I was initially concerned about the shared refrigerator and planned not to use it when I made the Reservation, but since the system lets you write your Room number on a sticky note, I felt comfortable using it. To give an honest Review: I did wish the bath were a bit larger, but it was very clean and relaxing. It rained the next morning, but the location is excellent—you can stop by Kawanoeki Shinminato, Kaiwomaru Park, and the famous roadside station Amaharashi Coast (Michi-no-Eki), and still easily drop in at Himi Fish Market Cafeteria. To be frank, I expected to stay here simply because it was inexpensive; however, compared with an Accommodation in Fukui where things only looked good on the surface without matching reality (where I stayed the next day), this Ryokan’s strengths stood out even more. In any case, highly recommended.

The food is absolutely delicious and makes you feel so happy! Dinner featured a variety of fish, all incredibly fresh and tasty. The crispy skin, tender meat, and perfectly paired sauce were simply exquisite. The wine and sake recommended for pairing enhanced the dishes beautifully, making it hard to stop drinking. The Room with tatami mats was very relaxing. The view of the canal from both the dining area and the Room was stunning—such a wonderful place to stay. Breakfast was also amazing, with sashimi, grilled fish, rice, eggs—everything so delicious that I couldn’t stop going back for seconds in the morning! I can’t wait to visit again!!

Above all, the dinner portions were incredible—and delicious! Crab, shabu-shabu, sashimi, and fried chicken; we were very satisfied. The bath was also comfortable to use (the bath and toilet are shared). The hostess was very kind, and we had a pleasant stay. Lastly, the meal was truly amazing... thank you very much!

I stayed here after being captivated by the night-view photos of the Onsen. Since this was a family trip with small children, I wasn’t expecting a luxury Ryokan, but because it’s located where you can take in a sweeping view of Toyama City (and even across to Imizu City), I never got tired of the scenery—sunrise, sunset, and night. Honestly, this location is truly one of a kind and priceless; it was far better than staying at some mediocre high-end Ryokan. I’ll upload my clumsy photos, but in person it’s 10 or 20 times more impressive. On the way to the Onsen there is a corridor explaining the history of the Kureha Hills, and I could really feel how much care and affection the staff have for this place and for this Hotel. The Facility is certainly Showa-era in style, but that actually made me feel even more attached to it. I felt genuinely happy to have discovered—and stayed at—this kind of Hotel. I also want to mention the breakfast buffet. Above all, I was amazed at how delicious the rice was. That wonderful white rice with miso soup and grilled fish in the morning—along with sides like okra and vinegared dishes—was something I truly enjoyed. Depending on where you’re going, if you plan to visit Toyama City or nearby Imizu City or Takaoka City, this is definitely a great choice. My kids absolutely loved Kodomo Mirai-kan at Taikoyama Land, so we’ll probably go back to Toyama next year—and when we do, I definitely want to stay at this Hotel again. Thank you very much to all of your staff.
