It had been since last autumn, but this is an Accommodation that soothes me no matter when I visit. Of course, the Room and the Onsen are wonderful, as are the meals—modern French with witty, thought-provoking menus each time, and a Japanese breakfast made with carefully selected ingredients—but even more than that, I’m always delighted by the staff’s quiet attentiveness everywhere, including turndown service during both dinner and breakfast. I go outside the rear entrance to smoke each time, and there was a small bench that hadn’t been there before. Near the exit were several mats you can use on the bench. I was moved by these little touches and found myself even more captivated by Kokon. I’m already looking forward to deciding when to visit next.

With more newly opened Hotels in Hakone, we have stayed at several, but after visiting Hiramatsu again for the first time in a while, we truly rediscovered how comfortable it is. My mother and I enjoyed a relaxing, unhurried stay, and we were very satisfied with both the quality and quantity of the meals. We will definitely return. Thank you again for everything.

This was my first stay, and I truly enjoyed it. The staff’s hospitality was excellent, the wonderful Room with a semi-open-air bath in natural tones was very relaxing, and both dinner and breakfast offered a wide variety of dishes—beautifully presented and absolutely delicious! I had a fantastic chill time. I’ll definitely visit again, specifically for Gora Onsen!

This was our 21st stay, and our first time visiting in August. Not only did we feel summer in the surrounding nature—the lush greenery sparkling in the strong sunlight and the chorus of cicadas—but also throughout the Hotel, from the flower art and interior décor to each dish showcasing seasonal ingredients such as sole and asparagus. We also fully enjoyed FUJIYA’s exquisite French cuisine, including ris de veau and mushrooms baked in a pastry case, double consommé soup, Japanese beef fillet Rossini-style, and Crêpes Suzette. My son enjoyed both the outdoor pool unique to this season and the indoor pool, while I relaxed at the spa (Onsen large public bath: indoor bath, open-air bath, sauna), listening to the cicadas falling like a shower. My definition of a classic hotel is “an irreplaceable space-time where you can experience warm hospitality that welcomes guests like family—within an atmosphere of tradition and dignity, surrounded by nature away from the bustle of town.” Fujiya Hotel is truly THE classic hotel—a leading presence among classic hotels. I hope to continue building precious memories with my son at Fujiya Hotel through every season. Thank you very much to all the staff.

As expected of Tokyu Harvest Club’s top-tier Hotel. The Room was spacious with high ceilings, fully stocked amenities, and the staff were gentle and attentive. I wasn’t expecting the in-room refrigerator to be free, but I really enjoyed the carefully selected lineup. Above all, I was impressed by the dining. Rather than relying solely on great ingredients, everything was thoughtfully prepared and presented so it could be enjoyed even more beautifully and deliciously. They also accommodated food allergies and preferences as much as possible. I saw other comments saying breakfast was disappointing, but for us both the quantity and quality were more than sufficient. We love vegetables, so we would have been happy with even more—but that’s just personal preference. Considering the price, it’s not a Facility we can visit often, but if we have the chance, we would definitely like to return. Thank you for taking such good care of us.

First of all, the cleanliness of the Hotel’s Rooms and other Facilities was very, very good. I stayed for three nights and treated myself by taking an Obon holiday at this Hotel. It was an Obon holiday filled with gratitude for the food and all the staff. The Onsen was also wonderful, and I felt genuine care in every detail, including the free ice pops after bathing. Thank you for such a wonderful trip with my dog. I will come again, and I look forward to staying with you then as well.

Although it was a busy Obon period, we were able to relax both inside the property and in the baths. Our dog enjoyed exploring the Room and seemed to love cooling off on the balcony. Since meals were served in our Room, we could take our time without worrying about our dog’s behavior, which made us especially happy. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious. The open-air bath was spacious, and we went back more than once; we also enjoyed the happy hour beer. Everything was wonderful, and we would love to visit again.

Both dinner and breakfast were very delicious, and the ayu served at dinner this time was especially outstanding. The bath in the Room was also spacious, allowing us to relax and soak comfortably. We were soothed by the greenery in the garden, and we were also happy to see wild deer. We would love to visit again.

We stayed here to celebrate our anniversary, and everything was exceptional. Being able to soak in the wonderful Onsen at any time, surrounded by the soothing scent of hinoki cypress, was pure bliss. The meals were outstanding—especially breakfast. We were truly impressed by the carefully prepared dishes made with delicious dashi, and ended up eating far more rice than usual. Every staff member was kind and attentive with just the right sense of distance, allowing us to relax throughout our stay. We would love to return again. This was my second stay. I came back because I had such a great experience last time. Just like before, the staff were very kind, the Room was clean, and above all it was quiet, so I could relax and take it easy. The teppanyaki was different from last time and very delicious as well. I would love to stay again.

We visited this Accommodation for the first time in March after it received the strongest “Absolutely!” recommendation among several options, and it was the first time in a while that we felt completely satisfied in every respect. From the courteous and accurate communication during the Reservation process, to the atmosphere, use of space, staff professionalism, and cuisine—everything met our expectations. With an Accommodation of this caliber, I wasn’t particularly worried about the food, and I had already seen photos of the interior on the website so I assumed there would be no surprises. In the end, however, what matters most is “people.” With group stays, requests often cause inconvenience and there are usually one or two small oversights on the day—but here everything was perfect. This time we came as individuals. We returned both to confirm our impressions and to be moved all over again. The entrance—still fresh in my memory as a favorite—is spacious and quiet. It harmoniously blends cutting-edge design with traditional charm despite being complete opposites. Personally, it may be my favorite part. Our Room this time was more compact than last time but more than sufficient for one night. The open-air bath is also spacious and easy to use even though it has privacy screening. The private dining room felt almost too large for just two people. The timing of each course and the staff’s warm smiles made for a truly comfortable—and delicious—meal. Overall, what stayed with me is how rare this Facility is: an excellent balance of new and old, genuine warmth from people, and employees who approach their work with sincerity—all coming together in perfect harmony. Newer Accommodations with a full resort feel are wonderful in their own way as well; however, as an Onsen Accommodation, this is a place I can confidently recommend as a distinctly Japanese stay where timeless tradition is beautifully integrated. We stayed here as a family. Our daughter, who loves picture books, was thrilled to be surrounded by so many books and enjoyed them wholeheartedly throughout our stay. The adults were also able to relax and spend unhurried time—it was truly comfortable. Every dish was delicious, and we were even able to watch fireworks at night, making it a wonderful summer memory for our daughter as well. Thank you very much for such a lovely time.

I had another wonderful stay. No matter which Fufu Accommodation I visit, I am always fully satisfied with the consistently heartfelt hospitality and the truly careful, delicious cuisine. This time at Fufu Hakone as well, I was comforted by the warm welcome from all the staff and was able to enjoy a relaxing, luxurious time. For an Accommodation that makes me want to come back again, Fufu is still number one for me. This time, I was also able to use a wonderful benefit from IKYU, which made my stay even more enjoyable. I am truly grateful for this great opportunity as well. I will do my best in everyday life and look forward to returning to Fufu. Thank you very much.

I’ve stayed at other Dormy Inn Hotels several times on business trips, and everything—cleanliness, the Onsen, and the meals—has always been excellent. This time we visited for a family trip, and my wife and child were thrilled. It made our trip truly enjoyable, and we’d love to stay again!

We stayed with our baby, and it was such a wonderful Accommodation that we’d love to visit again even as adults only. The chic, calming interior was beautiful, and you could feel the attention to detail in every piece of furniture, appliance, and decor. The Room had adorable children’s chairs and slippers, a yoga mat, DVD rentals, a star chart, and more. The space itself was so comfortable that simply spending time at the Accommodation felt truly restorative. At the front desk there was a complimentary drink service including alcohol such as beer and sake, as well as delicious decaf coffee that pregnant guests and breastfeeding moms can enjoy. On top of that, all drinks and snacks in the in-Room refrigerator were also free—such a thoughtful touch that made us feel genuinely cared for. The private open-air bath attached to the Room was a solid rock-built bath with an impressive presence; soaking slowly while surrounded by nature was incredibly relaxing. Most memorable of all was the view from the Room: refreshing mountains stretching out before us, with Sagami Bay visible beyond. Just staying in the Room while gazing out the window felt luxurious—we lost track of time and truly unwound. Each dish showed great care and craftsmanship; everything was delicious and we were completely satisfied. Although we stayed with a child, thanks to the warm hospitality of all the staff we were able to spend our time very comfortably.

For trips with our dog, we always choose the Regina group Hotels for their outstanding staff hospitality. This time, we finally made our first visit to this property, which we’d had our eye on for a while. With just 10 Rooms, it’s a compact Facility where you can complete everything—check-in and check-out, an open-air Onsen bath with excellent water quality, and carefully crafted kaiseki cuisine—all in your Room. The morning soak while enjoying views of the Hakone outer rim mountains from our second-floor Room was simply the best.

We stayed here to celebrate my girlfriend’s birthday, and everything—the building, location, service, and meals—was outstanding. They took photos for the birthday celebration and later gave us printed copies, which I’ve never experienced elsewhere; it felt like an especially thoughtful service. I love traveling and have stayed at many Hotels, including luxury properties such as The Ritz-Carlton, Hoshinoya, and Hotel The Mitsui Kyoto, but this was wonderful enough to rank in my personal top five. I’d love to return again someday. Thank you very much.

We had seen a Review saying the pool temperature was low, and since it was a chilly day we were worried, but it was comfortably warm. The first-floor flooring is also not slippery, so I think it’s dog-friendly. If possible, it would have been even better if the second-floor flooring were made of similarly non-slip materials. The quality of the free-flowing Onsen water was great as well, and it was a wonderful Accommodation that makes not only dogs but also people want to come back.

This time, we visited Lake Kawaguchi and Hakone for the first time, looking forward to seeing Mt. Fuji as part of my wife’s birthday trip. Although it was too cloudy to see the Mt. Fuji we had hoped for, we stayed at Setsugetsuka Bettei Suiun in Hakone and were able to fully enjoy the area. Our Room was a Standard Fourth, and it was very practical and well maintained with thorough cleaning, so we had a comfortable stay. The Onsen was at just the right temperature for me and left me feeling refreshed from the core, and it was also great to be able to use L’OCCITANE shampoo. For dinner, being able to choose the main dish and rice during the meal felt like a thoughtful service that let us decide based on our appetite. Breakfast offered such an abundant variety that we were so full we couldn’t even eat lunch afterward. The after-bath lounge area, along with complimentary drinks and snacks on each floor, was also a welcome service whenever we felt a little hungry. The staff’s hospitality was polite and easy to understand, which left a strong impression on us as well. After checkout we went to Gora Park, and at that time a parking staff member kindly advised us that taking the mountain railway one stop would allow us to walk downhill from top to bottom more easily—very helpful advice for an older couple like us. We hope to come back soon for our “I want to see Mt. Fuji with my own eyes!” revenge trip, and when we do, we would love to stay with you again.
