I made a Reservation because I wanted to stay at Hotel Chinzanso Tokyo again after a long time, and it happened to be my birthday month. Although I hadn’t mentioned anything, the restaurant where I booked lunch added a “Happy Birthday” message on the plate, and at check-out I received a birthday card. The card even included messages from the staff. I felt that this kind of thoughtful attention is exactly what makes Hotel Chinzanso Tokyo so comfortable. Relaxing in a Room with a great view, strolling through the garden to enjoy the sea-of-clouds display, and ending the night with a quiet drink at the bar—this is the perfect Hotel when you want to recharge. I would love to visit again.

At check-in, the front desk staff greeted me with a wonderful smile and provided kind, courteous explanations, which made me feel very reassured. The hotel’s convenient location near the station was also a big plus and gave me peace of mind. Thankfully, I was upgraded to the Ladies’ Room this time. The Room was equipped with a ReFa hair dryer and shower head, which I was delighted about! The amenities were well stocked, and every item at the breakfast buffet was delicious—I was completely satisfied. If I had to mention one thing, it would be even more helpful to have an outlet by the pillow on the loft bed for charging a smartphone. Overall, it was an extremely comfortable stay. I would definitely like to stay here again!

In a world where everything is expensive, I was glad I could stay here at a relatively reasonable price. It’s probably less than a 5-minute walk from Tabata Station South Exit, but the route from the station to the Hotel is uphill, so if you have heavy luggage it can be quite tiring—something to keep in mind. (Going downhill was easy.) As soon as you enter, you’ll see the front desk, but it’s on the 4th floor, which can be a bit confusing. My Room was on the 2nd floor, so I had to take the elevator down from the front desk, which felt unusual. (That said, it wasn’t inconvenient at all, so it didn’t really bother me.) Amenities are minimal, but I had no complaints—I just need shampoo/conditioner and a toothbrush. Until the last train, you can hear train noise, but if you treat it as background sound it doesn’t bother you much. If it’s affordable with good train access in Tokyo, I can overlook some things. More than anything, I feel very grateful for being able to stay at such a low price.

The Room was a four-person dorm with bunk beds. I was bothered by the snoring from the person next to me, but luckily I had brought earplugs, which helped a bit. It was nice that water, coffee, lemon juice, and other drinks were available for free. I was disappointed that there were no hangers in the shower room, so I couldn’t hang my clothes. The female staff were very helpful, and I’m satisfied because I stayed at a great price. I plan to stay again.

We stayed with three people, and it was spacious enough. The lobby, elevators, hallways, and room were all very clean, and we were very satisfied. What stood out most was how incredibly delicious the breakfast bread selection was. It was so good I could barely stick to the “up to two per person” rule! (Of course, I did stop at two...) It was a shame there wasn’t a bathtub, but I’d like to stay here again next time I’m in Tokyo for a live show.

Located in a residential area, it is quiet and has a cozy, home-like atmosphere. The property is very clean, and while the amenities are limited, it won’t be an issue for most travelers. It was a shame I couldn’t spend time in the Japanese-style lounge, but it’s a Hotel I’d like to book for a Multiple Night Stay.

Honestly, I liked it so much that I almost don’t want to spread the word through Reviews (lol). This time, I prioritized access from the station and price, and since my stay was short, I made a Reservation with almost no expectations for the Hotel. But in the best way possible, it completely exceeded them. The staff are simply wonderful—stylish but not pretentious, with a comfortable sense of distance, and they naturally check in on you. The amenities in front of the front desk are well stocked, and you can choose everything you need. They even have pajamas, and the amenities selection is so complete you’ll think, “Is there anything missing?”! The welcome tea set made me go, “Wait… is this seriously this stylish?”—and everything was delicious. You can really feel how much care went into the welcome tea set. Amazing! The burgers at the first-floor café were also surprisingly good. Room service hours had already ended, so I had one for lunch instead! I didn’t use it this time, but apparently there’s all-you-can-drink beer from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM!! Above all, the handwritten guide introducing Yanesen around the Hotel was fantastic. It’s handmade by the staff and covers everything from restaurants to cafés to sightseeing spots—you can truly feel their desire for guests to enjoy the neighborhood. I often choose a Hotel as just a place to sleep depending on my purpose of travel, but this place reminded me how fun staying at a Hotel can be. …That said, I kind of don’t want it to become too famous and crowded (lol). Next time I’m in Tokyo, I want to stay here again.

The Room is small, but the toilet and bath were clean. It’s also not too far from the station. For this price in Ikebukuro, it’s a great deal! I’d love to stay again.
