The price is great, and the facilities are excellent as well. There are also places to eat within walking distance, so we often go out for drinks at night—and we’ve stayed here again and again.

I stayed here twice, in May and September. All the staff were very friendly, and the room was spacious and clean. My favorite part is the breakfast. It’s delicious, and I always end up having an extra serving of rice. I would definitely like to stay here again.

The front desk service was courteous, and I appreciated that they promptly called a taxi for the next day. The Room was clean and comfortable. In addition, there is a convenience store attached to the Hotel, which is handy even when it’s windy and rainy. I would like to stay here again.

We stayed here as a couple on this trip. Before booking, we saw it on TV and knew we wanted to visit, so we decided to stay here! The welcome drink was wonderful, and the staff were incredibly kind. Both dinner and breakfast felt luxurious, and everything was delicious. It was a hotel filled with smiling guests. Next time, we’d love to bring our grandchildren and enjoy it together! Thank you very much.

This was our first stay, and in short, both our dog and we were completely satisfied. The Facility was spotless and felt very clean. The daybed in the Room was extremely comfortable, and we were able to relax and lounge around together with our dog. Unfortunately it rained that day, but the ocean-view scenery was still wonderfully refreshing. Next time, I’d like to make a Reservation for the same type of Room again. The service struck the perfect balance—attentive without being intrusive—and left a great overall impression. There was also an excellent selection of dog supplies and treats; truly thoughtful service that anticipates every need. We enjoyed all of the meals and drinks as well—they were delicious. We’ll likely be back again soon, and we look forward to seeing you then. Thank you very much for everything.

Just down the escalator from the South Exit of Mito Station and before crossing the Sakura River—an excellent location with easy access. It was convenient to leave my luggage and pick it up later, and there’s also a lounge where you can relax freely until 24:00, which was great for taking it easy until my train Reservation time. The staff were kind as well. The free breakfast included a local dish called Nuppe-jiru, which was rich and delicious. The Room was spacious for one person and very comfortable. It was bright and clean. If I had to mention anything, a slightly longer shoehorn would have been easier to use, and the disposable slippers were thin, so I wish I had brought my own. Overall, I was very satisfied.

I stayed here on a short trip to Ibaraki. Due to a mistake in my reservation, I asked to change from a smoking room to a non-smoking room, and even though it wasn’t really an appropriate time to call, they handled it politely—great first impression!! On the day as well, everyone was extremely courteous, and I could really feel the hotel’s high standards. Even though it was an inexpensive room, it had a solid table and chairs, so I was able to get plenty of work done! Although I received a welcome drink, there was also cold water in the fridge, which made me feel they truly care about their guests. The large parking lot is also great. One thing—I’m disappointed I didn’t get to try the famous late-night soba!! I’ll be back!!

I thoroughly enjoyed the Accommodation. This was my second stay, and it’s still very much to my taste. All of the staff were extremely kind and pleasant. I used the large public bath a total of four times! I especially love the balcony just before the bath—after bathing, I sit on the balcony, feel the sea breeze, and cool down as I dry off. As for the meals, it seems there has been a change in who prepares them, and the menu has a distinctive twist. Preferences may vary. Also, last time I stayed I remember feeling that the portion sizes were just right or perhaps slightly small, but this time there was more than I could finish.

The staff’s hospitality was outstanding, and both my mother and I were truly moved. We stayed here to finally see the nemophila flowers we had long dreamed of. Since we had a lot of luggage, they kindly stored our suitcases even before check-in. They also called a taxi company to ask about the fare as we debated whether to take a taxi or bus to Hitachinaka Seaside Park, and they prepared the bus timetable for the next day—thank you so much for your thoughtful help. At breakfast, the staff also suggested ways to enjoy the Danish pastry with different flavors, and it was delicious. This trip really reminded me how much a journey can be enriched by the warmth and care of the people who welcome you. Thank you very much.

I stayed here for sightseeing. It was conveniently close to the station, and the hotel was clean, so I had a very comfortable stay.

It was my first trip to Mito in 20 years, but unfortunately it rained. Still, thanks to staying at this Hotel, I didn’t feel any inconvenience when it came to shopping or dining. At the front desk, there were 2–3 staff members who were quite unfriendly, and three who were very pleasant (a foreign staff member, a male staff member, and a young female staff member). So even if you happen to be helped by someone unfriendly, if another person assists you instead you can still feel well taken care of—so it’s fine. I stayed for two nights. On the first night I had a Room near the elevators on a day with many group guests. Since I’m a light sleeper, even small noises woke me up. When I spoke with the young female receptionist about it, she kindly reassigned me to another Room without any hassle. I really appreciated that. The Room was very spacious and had new facilities. Because it was raining, I spent a lot of time in the Room and found it very comfortable. Complimentary bottled water and tea bags were provided, but there was no coffee—since I like having coffee in my pajamas right after waking up, next time I’ll bring instant coffee myself. Also, there was only one sturdy pair of slippers suitable for going to the large public bath area inside the Hotel; next time I plan to bring disposable slippers as well. There was also an Accommodation guest–exclusive aperitivo at the restaurant. The selection, price, and service were all excellent—I was completely satisfied. Overall I was extremely satisfied and will stay here again next time!

The exterior shows its age, but the rooms are very clean, as if they have been renovated. The amenities are also plentiful, which I think many women will appreciate—I’ve never stayed somewhere that even provided face masks. There are manga available as well, so you can relax at the hotel and easily pass the time. The staff were very polite and attentive. I would like to stay here again.

You can reach Mito Station via the pedestrian deck, and you can park conveniently in the adjacent commercial Facility’s multi-story parking garage with 24-hour in-and-out access. The room was also well cleaned, and we had a comfortable stay. The amenities were well stocked. There is no large public bath, but we were able to relax with the carbonated bath salts provided as an amenity.

We arrived right at the last dinner seating time, but at check-in they kindly moved our reservation to a later time without us even asking. We apologize for the inconvenience, and thank you very much. The dining staff were all truly wonderful—polite, friendly, and the food was absolutely delicious. When we mentioned how good the rice was, one of the staff members told us it was grown by their family. You could really feel how carefully it had been raised, and we were genuinely happy to be able to enjoy such rice. This was our first trip to Ibaraki Prefecture, and it became a very special memory. I don’t think I will ever forget the staff’s faces. The housekeeping staff also always greeted us whenever we passed by. It is a very comfortable hotel to stay in.\nThe complimentary Saza Coffee service was also a delightful touch of hospitality.\nWaking up early and being able to see the sunrise is another wonderful memory for us.

I stayed for one night over the weekend to watch a sports game. The building is a bit old, but the Room was clean and well maintained, so I had a comfortable stay. Breakfast had a small selection, but the freshly made omelet was delicious. The younger staff were friendly, and the price was reasonable, so I was very satisfied. I would be happy to stay again if I have the chance. Thank you.

This was my first stay at Dormy Inn, a place I had always wanted to try. What I liked - The Room felt more spacious than I expected and not cramped, so it was very comfortable. - The ice cream in the post-bath area was a nice touch. - I appreciated that ice packs were available as well. - The “neba-neba” breakfast bowl was delicious. If I could have eaten more, I would have gone back for seconds. What concerned me - I couldn’t watch YouTube or similar apps on the Room TV. - The toothpaste that came with the disposable toothbrush was made in Vietnam (it was my first time seeing that). - There is a Lawson across the street, but it’s a bit of an awkward distance to both the station and places like the department store and Seicomart. - Dust in the Room stood out to me. I didn’t use it myself, but my husband went to the large public bath three times. He said the sauna was great and that it felt like a small Onsen trip. Our Room was on the same floor as the large public bath, which made it easy to go back and forth—this worked out well for us. The front desk staff were also very pleasant, and overall we were very satisfied with our stay. We would definitely like to stay again. Thank you very much.

Thank you for the past three days. We had a very comfortable stay, and we sincerely appreciate the kind and attentive support from all of your staff.

We stayed at this hotel because the golf course we used did not have accommodations. The staff service, price, and cleanliness (especially the ventilation fan) were all excellent. I was reassured to hear it is part of the APA Hotel group. The only disappointment was that the room smelled of cigarette smoke. As mentioned in other reviews, you can hear outside noise and voices, but there were no disruptive guests, so it wasn’t a problem. I would like to stay here again.

We stayed here to visit Oarai Aquarium and Kairakuen Garden. There was a welcome drink, so we had coffee before heading to our room. For three guests, the room had twin beds plus a full set of futons. The room had been renovated in a modern style and was very comfortable, and we loved the view from the window—right in front of us were the river and bridge, with the ocean beyond. Dinner was Japanese cuisine at the restaurant, with sashimi and fried dishes as well, and there was more than enough food. They also offered free ramen at night, which my son happily went to enjoy. Breakfast was a buffet with a wide selection; they grilled fish on the spot and it was delicious. Excellent value for money—we’d definitely like to stay again.

The next day was the Mito Melon Marathon, and every Hotel in Mito was fully booked, with Accommodation Fees soaring to more than double the usual rate. I couldn’t give up on staying overnight, so I checked Yahoo! Travel and found that a Room had opened up at President Hotel—probably due to a cancellation. I quickly looked at the Reviews, and they seemed great. The price was around 11,000 yen, much cheaper than other options. I made a Reservation right away and was able to stay without any issues. In the end, it really was a wonderful Hotel just as the Reviews said, and I was very satisfied. The front desk staff were friendly and welcoming, and both the building and my Room were clean. The single Room was spacious and comfortable, and the bathtub was large enough to relax in. There are many affiliated parking lots available, which was very helpful: even before check-in, I could park for 600 yen (an additional 100 yen) until check-out. It’s about a 10-minute walk from Mito Station, but there’s a convenience store right in front so it’s very convenient. Check-out is also available until 11:00. It seems you can usually stay here in the 6,000-yen range on regular days, so I’d definitely like to stay again.
