I stayed here when visiting Fukushima and going to Hawaiians. It was really close to Hawaiians, and since there were no meals included, I bought food at a nearby convenience store. The room was clean and well equipped, which made me feel at ease. The Onsen was also very pleasant, clean, and great.

This time we stayed at Willport, close to the pool. Dinner included a main dish of grilled tuna poke, fried chicken & fries, and desserts such as acai bowls and fruit. Soft drinks and the salad bar are included; alcohol is available for an additional order. Breakfast was also more than we could finish—plenty even for an adult man. You can also watch hula during dinner. The room was spacious enough for a family of four. This time it was just the two of us; my husband would have preferred a bed, but we slept well on futons. We also enjoyed the hot springs and the lazy river pool. The poolside burger was delicious—tasted like 100% beef! We wondered how it would be with a wheelchair, but there were elevators and we were able to get around by taking a longer route. On the second day it was rainy and windy due to a typhoon, but since everything is indoors it didn’t affect us at all. From late October to around November should be peak autumn foliage season—sounds wonderful. We also bought macadamia nut chocolates and had a great time overall. It’s nearby for us, so we’d love to come again. The staff were kind as well. P.S. They also provided kids’ body soap, shampoo & conditioner in the room.

Thank you for taking care of us again this year, following last year. It’s a good Hotel. We stayed with three grandchildren on a two-meal plan. As we were leaving, they asked to come again next year. The only drawback is that it can be hard to make a Reservation.

Because I rarely have the chance to travel with family or close friends, I usually travel alone. Soaking in the Onsen helps me clear my mind. Enjoying delicious food is a true happiness. What’s more, Shin Tsuta brings me peace, so I return again and again. This is very important to me. The sense of calm and fulfillment I feel is thanks to the warmth and character of each and every member of your staff. That calm and fulfillment also makes me feel as if it restores my purity. When I get home, I already want to go back to Shin Tsuta—like when I was young, after seeing my sweetheart and returning to the dormitory, I immediately wanted to see them again.

Guest Room & Amenities: We had a twin room, and it was spacious. The view from the window was great. Amenities are picked up from in front of the front desk. There is a wide range of loungewear sizes, and I was happy that you can take different sizes for the top and bottom. There were only a few tissues in the room, so I used the ones I brought with me. The safe is small. Service: Very good. Onsen/Baths: The water was nice, but it’s puzzling that there are three bathing areas for women and only one Onsen bath. If heated water is necessary, wouldn’t just one be enough? The open-air bath had a lovely atmosphere and was great. Facility & Equipment: There is a sofa in front of where the air conditioner blows, so cold air hits you directly; it was too chilly to sit there for long. The parking lot is a bit narrow. The underground parking area would be tough for elderly guests to walk up from. Dining: Both dinner and breakfast were buffet-style, and everything was very delicious. It was disappointing that the spare ribs at dinner were overly dry and had become tough; otherwise, we were very satisfied. Overall Satisfaction: We stayed during Obon, but aside from the parking lot it didn’t feel overly crowded, and we were able to relax comfortably. We felt we’d found a great Hotel.

As we were at a point where we might have to leave Tokyo due to my daughter’s job assignment, the three of us stayed at Shohakukan in Onahama. It’s a historic building, but it was thoroughly cleaned down to every corner, so we felt comfortable and at ease throughout our stay. We chose a room with a private hot spring bath and a massage chair! The in-room hot spring had an authentic sulfur scent that really made it feel like a true onsen experience, and we took turns using the massage chair as a family to soothe our travel fatigue. Upgrading the meals was absolutely the right decision! Crab, grilled dancing abalone, Joshu beef steak, simmered splendid alfonsino (kinmedai), deep-fried mehikari… everything was incredibly luxurious, and we enjoyed so many local specialties. Every dish was truly delicious—I almost felt bad that we couldn’t finish everything. Sorry about that! Another unforgettable part of our stay was chatting with the wonderful attendant wearing glasses. She shared so many enjoyable stories about the inn’s history, sightseeing spots, and recommended sake, making our trip even warmer and more memorable. Thank you very much. In the midst of our busy daily lives, it meant so much to relax as a family of three again—enjoying great food and unwinding in the hot springs—and it made us fall in love with Fukushima for the first time. We would love to return again someday. Thank you sincerely for everything!

I stayed here to enjoy the Onsen, and all three baths in the building were excellent. The open-air bath in the sky was especially refreshing—I could have stayed in it forever. Each of the three baths had both hot and lukewarm tubs, so I could choose what I liked. Since it was a weekday after the Obon holidays, it wasn’t crowded and I was able to truly relax. As a solo traveler, my Room was a single Room like you’d find at a Business Hotel, but that’s what I expected, so it wasn’t an issue. The Onsen Shrine just a 1-minute walk from the Hotel was also quiet and became one of my favorite spots (you can pray for safe bathing). There are footbaths inside the station, in front of the station, and around town as well—Furutakiya is an outstanding Accommodation as a base for Yumoto, an Onsen town. Although I booked a Plan without meals, I had dinner at the dining venue “Tsudaya” on the second floor. The seafood rice bowl was delicious, and their à la carte dishes also looked great.

I made a Reservation for sightseeing at Aquamarine Fukushima. This time, the new building was fully booked, so I stayed in the old building, but it was spacious, clean, and very relaxing—really great. The toilet and washbasin were separate, but both were very clean and well maintained, so it didn’t bother me at all. This Accommodation is in an excellent location. You can walk to AEON, and it’s also conveniently close to the aquarium. I would like to stay here again when I visit the aquarium. Thank you very much for your hospitality!

We stayed with three people, and the Room layout was great—we could easily move between two Rooms, and the bath was excellent. We were completely satisfied with everything, including the amenities and customer service. We would love to stay again next time.

It was a very comfortable Room. The seafood dishes were also excellent. The bath was clean and we enjoyed it. After checking out, I realized I had forgotten my hat and called; they helped me, and it arrived at my home the next day. It became a wonderful memory. I will visit again.

Ever since my visit before summer, I’ve been completely hooked and have returned several times. This time, I invited my family. We took a bus from a different stop than usual, so we arrived a little later than planned, but we were still able to follow almost the same schedule as always and were very satisfied. The room is compact, but it was just right for two people (my mother and me), since we spent most of our time at the hot springs and hardly came back to the room except to sleep. Because there was a smoker in our group, we booked two rooms. It was convenient not having to go to the designated smoking area, and those of us who don’t smoke could relax without worrying about any smell—my family appreciated that as well. As others have mentioned, the property is large and has an older layout, so you do end up walking quite a bit. But as long as you’re able to walk comfortably, it’s not an issue—if anything, it helps you work up an appetite. I personally enjoy this kind of layout because it feels like exploring. As always, every dish was delicious. My family especially loved the purple sweet potato tart. The evening hula dance show was spectacular too—I’m always charmed by the dancers’ wonderful smiles. I seem to make at least one mistake each time I visit and end up causing trouble for the staff, but everyone is consistently kind and helpful, which makes me feel at ease. This time as well, I accidentally selected the wrong gender option when booking and needed my loungewear exchanged; they handled it cheerfully. Thank you very much. My family enjoyed it too, and once again it turned into a great trip. With travel subsidies starting again reservations filled up quickly and I couldn’t book for autumn…which is very disappointing—but I’ll be back in winter and am really looking forward to it.

I’ve stayed here many times. This Hotel lets you feel the history of Yumoto, the town of hula. That’s also part of its charm, and it makes for a calm, relaxing stay. This time I stayed with my wife, but when I’m traveling for work I can also choose a budget-friendly Room with some limitations. Dinner is not provided, but you can get recommended local information along with a map. Above all, the proprietress’s breakfast is delicious and highly recommended. Of course, the Onsen is wonderful as well. I’ll be back!

Although the property is a bit old, it is kept very clean and is conveniently located near Onsen Shrine and a convenience store. The staff are kind, and I find it comfortable and really like it. Last time I stayed in a Western-style room, but this time I chose a Japanese-style room. The tatami mats and futon felt more relaxing. I’ll be back again for a leisurely stay.

We stayed here the night before our child’s recital. Even though we arrived after 11:00 PM, the staff were very kind, guiding us to the parking area and preparing welcome drinks for us. Breakfast was delicious, with a wide variety of options and very satisfying portions. It would have been even better with some fruit, but considering how reasonably priced our stay was, we were truly happy with it.

We stayed with our family in a no meals included plan the night before fishing. The staff reserved a parking space for us and guided us upon arrival. When we mentioned our early departure the next day, they assured us that staff are available 24 hours, so there would be no problem. The room was well-equipped and comfortable, allowing us to stay with peace of mind. We truly appreciated their kind assistance. By the way, we had a great catch during fishing!

The hot spring water is sourced directly from the spring, with both lukewarm and hot baths available, as well as an open-air bath. Visiting during a less crowded period allows for a relaxing soak to relieve fatigue. I look forward to visiting again.

This was Hawaiians’ first glamping Facility, and it was fantastic—from the Hawaiians pools to the glamping tents that stayed ice-cold with strong air conditioning. The showers and toilets were well equipped, and we could also use the large public bath in the clubhouse. Since this glamping site is built within a golf course, both the facilities and service were flawless. However, depending on your family’s situation: there are lots of insects! That’s part of camping/glamping, but our family doesn’t do well with bugs—our older daughter cried hard, and we couldn’t even focus on the BBQ. There are so many that bug spray doesn’t really help. From palm-sized longhorn beetles to what might have been scarab beetles we’d never seen in Kanto—if you understand this before staying, it’s an amazing location.

The authentic Japanese cuisine was excellent. I would love to stay here again when I visit. The bath was very relaxing, and I had a great night's sleep. As a side note, for those visiting Iwaki, I highly recommend seeing the "Hawaiians Show" and the "Iwaki Coal & Fossil Museum Horuru."

The Room was spacious enough for a solo stay and very clean, so I could relax comfortably. The Onsen was a bit hot for me, but it felt wonderful. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious. If I visit the Iwaki area again, I would definitely like to stay here again.
