All the Ryokan in Higashiyama Onsen have great hot springs, and the riverside open-air bath here was especially relaxing with a wonderful atmosphere. The lounge’s complimentary drinks even included clam chowder, which was delicious. Both dinner and breakfast were very satisfying—

The location is simply outstanding. From anywhere on the property, I could see Mt. Bandai beyond Yairoku Pond, and I was moved again and again. In addition, the service, dinner and breakfast, open-air bath, cleanliness, and the lounge’s ease of use were all excellent and comfortable. I’m glad I chose Urabandai Kogen Hotel for my commemorative trip. The nature that changes with each season must be wonderful as well, so next time I’d love to visit in a different season. Thank you very much.

I stayed here for the first time in about a year. It remains a truly wonderful Accommodation. The surrounding nature, the buildings, the lobby, the Room, the Onsen, the restaurant, the lounge, the drinks, the food—and of course all of the staff—everything is genuinely excellent.

The Room was spacious, with plenty of space for luggage, and it was perfectly equipped with all the amenities we needed. After arriving, we were very satisfied to enjoy sake in the lounge while having rice crackers. Face towels were provided in the bathroom, which was very conven

The next morning, I enjoyed breakfast at your restaurant on the top floor (10th floor) while admiring the view from a window seat. The weather was clear that day, and I could see Aizuwakamatsu Castle and the mountains of Aizu beautifully. After breakfast, I left your hotel and co

This time as well, I thoroughly enjoyed Niji no Mori Onsen, with both the open-air and indoor baths at the perfect temperature, and even a cold bath available. I almost had the sauna to myself, allowing for a relaxing experience. As always, it was a clean and wonderful hot spring

The Onsen was incredibly relaxing, and I was able to unwind and enjoy a peaceful stay. I also appreciated that it is free-flowing from the source and available 24 hours a day. The water temperature was just right, and it left my skin feeling silky smooth. We had dinner on a riverside dining platform, and it was wonderful to enjoy the scenery and the sound of the flowing river while eating. The meal was delicious and had a great seasonal feel. The staff were courteous, which made the stay very comfortable. I would love to return if I have the chance.

We enjoyed delicious cuisine and the Onsen, making for a fun and wonderful summer vacation. The 30-tatami Room we used for the first time was also impressive. We also enjoyed Aizu’s local specialties, including Kozuyu and dried cod (bo-dara).

The accommodation was perfect as I was looking for a lake view and onsen. The buffet meals had a wide variety of dishes, all delicious, and I was very satisfied. The onsen, including both the large public bath and the open-air bath, was clean and comfortable. The open-air bath in

The service exceeded the price, and we were very satisfied with the meals. The evening events—Aibase! and Odoransho—were interactive and a lot of fun. We’d love to visit again in a different season. They also offer a great selection of local Fukushima sake, which is wonderful for anyone who enjoys Japanese sake.

Since it's the reliable Route Inn, we always look for a Route Inn in the area for our stays. It was raining heavily that night, so we didn't go out for dinner and used the dining area inside the Route Inn. The male staff was very polite and courteous, and even said to us in our l

I stayed in a Twin Room, which had been renovated and was very clean. The room was spacious with a table and two single-seater sofas. It also came with a unit bath, so I didn't use the public bath, but the bathtub was quite spacious and comfortable. Breakfast included classic i

During this trip, I visited Ouchi-juku, Samurai Residences (Bukeyashiki), Mount Iimori (Iimoriyama), among other places for sightseeing—it was truly meaningful time spent. There are still many places I'd like to visit here. When visiting Aizuwakamatsu again in the future, I woul

All the staff were pleasant and provided excellent service. The next day, I stayed at Nekoma Rikyuu accommodation, and the transition between accommodations was smooth due to good coordination. A few minor issues: The buffet area felt crowded and not very relaxing due to many

I stayed on July 17, 2026. This is one of the few Hotels that came up when searching on a Accommodation Reservation site in the Inawashiro–Urabandai area for a two-meal plan that is not buffet-style. Across the road, Lake Inawashiro spreads out right in front of you. Nearby are a sightseeing boat pier and a marina, and the Hotel also has an attached modern restaurant with an amazing view, where we enjoyed delicious breakfast and dinner. The location is outstanding. The rooftop has a BBQ terrace overlooking the lake—perfect for spending fun time late into the night with like-minded friends. The mural in the second-floor bath was painted by a female sento mural artist, and the wall art around the staircase is refreshingly original. The building feels like it’s from Japan’s bubble era, so some age in the Facility is unavoidable, but there are thoughtful furnishings and touches to welcome guests, which I appreciated. I felt it’s a great place for groups to have fun together, such as for a mini training camp or retreat.

People say travel is defined by where you stay; this visit truly proved that saying right. From exceptional Onsen baths and heartwarming service to the eye-opening inflatable-ring experience, this became a wonderful trip filled with great memories. We would love to return again i

The price was not a special rate, yet it included two meals for one night at this cost. We arrived without high expectations, but although the building is old, it was well cleaned, and all the staff were polite and provided excellent service. The food was also very delicious. If

Stayed for one night on 2/23-24. The children were excited by the snowy scenery, which is different from Tokyo. The meals were delicious, and we could see fireworks from the Room, making it a wonderful memory. I couldn't use the large public bath because of my tattoo. There is also a bath in the Room, so it was not a problem. There was no razor among the amenities, so I took one from the large public bath. The futon was thin and uncomfortable for those who usually sleep in beds. The biggest issue was that many cars couldn't climb up the icy slope at the entrance of the parking lot even with snow tires; ours was one of them. If that area had been cleared of snow, there would have been no complaints. Since my children want to visit again, we will continue to use this place in the future.
