It was my first visit. I was completely satisfied with everything, but there are three highlights worth mentioning. I have stayed at many Hotels, and the dining here was exceptionally satisfying. It’s rare to find Western cuisine of this quality. I was amazed by the consommé made from chicken and vegetables—it concentrated the natural flavors of the ingredients beautifully. None of the dishes felt heavy, and I enjoyed everything right to the end. The ayu paired wonderfully with eggplant as well, and I was impressed by how it all came together. My husband and I even said we would like to stay again just for the meals. The wonderful location was also a major plus. I could truly relax while taking in such a luxurious view. I believe that’s thanks to how meticulously everything is kept clean—from the rooms to the large public bath and even the garden. We enjoyed coffee in the library, and used cups were promptly cleared away; there wasn’t a single unpleasant detail. Above all, what stood out most was how wonderful your staff are. Everyone—the person who provided Shuttle Service by bus, the front desk team, each member of restaurant service staff, and housekeeping—was warm and professional. There were also staff members with charming Fukushima dialects, which sounded lovely to me. In particular, one restaurant staff member remained poised while still engaging in pleasant conversation; unfortunately I didn’t get their name. I hope to see them again on my next visit. Thank you very much.

I stayed with my parents and husband—four adults in total. There was a complimentary alcohol service available until 10:00 p.m. (there was even beer in the Room refrigerator!), and the all-inclusive drinks with meals also offered a great selection of alcohol. We could even enjoy sparkling wine at breakfast—wonderful for my father and me, as we both love drinks. Every summer, we stay one night at an Accommodation in Fukushima to coincide with my mother’s visit home, and my father really loved this place, saying, “Let’s stay here again next time—let’s make it our regular.” From the bath to the lobby to the Room, every space had beautiful interiors and a wonderful sense of design. The staff were also warm yet polished in their hospitality. It was our first trip where I treated my parents to a stay, so it became a truly memorable experience for us. Thank you very much.

The Room also has a private Onsen bath, and there are four private baths as well—an impressive level of facilities for a pension. The meals offered many dishes, were beautifully colorful, and were very satisfying. We felt thoughtful attention to detail throughout. This is an Accommodation we’d like to return to. We requested an after-bath beer at check-in; we probably should have put it in the refrigerator. It would have been nice to have local craft beer, and we only realized later that we could exchange the in-house wear size, so we rated it 4—but overall it’s basically all 5s. We could also see Lake Inawashiro from the Room.

This trip was both our summer getaway and a birthday celebration. It was our first time in Aizu, and we stayed at Urabandai Lake Resort, Geihinkan Nekoma Rikyu. The bath exclusively for guests of Geihinkan Nekoma Rikyu included an open-air bath, wasn’t crowded, and allowed us to relax and fully enjoy the Onsen. The meals at the French restaurant were not buffet-style for either dinner or breakfast, so we could take our time, and everything was delicious. We were able to truly enjoy an extraordinary escape. Being able to stay quietly throughout the Hotel, including the bathing area, was truly wonderful. There was no noisy atmosphere—perfect for an adult Hotel stay. If I had one comment… the signal in our Room was weak and we couldn’t use our phones. I would be happy if this could be improved. Unfortunately it rained the next day, so we’d like to visit again on a nice sunny day. Thank you very much for celebrating my birthday as well.

The meals were delicious again, both breakfast and dinner. Our whole family was very satisfied, so we were truly pleased. If we have the chance to stay again next year, we would love to return. There’s something very relaxing about this place. Thank you for taking such good care of us.

I stayed here after hiking Mount Bandai. I was looking for an accommodation with a good view and reasonable price. As mentioned in other reviews, the view of Lake Inawashiro was excellent, and the facility was clean and comfortable. Before my stay, the staff kindly provided recommendations on where to eat and directions to a supermarket. Despite rising costs of goods and labor these days, this accommodation offers comfort at an affordable price through thoughtful efforts. I would love to stay here again if I have the chance. The room is also spacious.

It was busy because it was during the summer vacation season, but the bath was spacious, so it didn’t feel too crowded. The food was delicious, but I felt our table was a little far away. Overall, it was good!

We stayed as a family. It was disappointing that the beer had run out in the lounge at night, but there was a great variety of dinner dishes and drinks. At breakfast, we loved being able to eat as much as we wanted—whole tomatoes, blue cheese, and more. The bath and sauna were very relaxing, we had fun playing table tennis, and the starry sky was beautiful. Our whole family was very satisfied. We would love to stay again if we have the opportunity.

The service exceeded the price, and we were very satisfied with the meals. The evening events—Aibase! and Odoransho—were interactive and a lot of fun. We’d love to visit again in a different season. They also offer a great selection of local Fukushima sake, which is wonderful for anyone who enjoys Japanese sake.

We stayed as a family with our dog, and it was a wonderful place, including the scenery along the way. At the cottage, we could enjoy our meals without worrying about time, and the bath was thoroughly cleaned so we could relax comfortably. We truly felt the hosts’ sincere hospitality in every detail. The sukiyaki dinner and breakfast bread were both delicious, and we were able to spend a relaxing, unhurried, luxurious time.

With a steak late-night snack included, I think this price is very reasonable. Traveling with my dog, it was a very satisfying trip. I’ve found an Accommodation I’d love to visit again!

Although this was a No Meals Included stay, you can enjoy coffee and other drinks in the lobby in the evening/night and in the morning. It’s a good idea to buy food and other items in advance at a nearby convenience store. The coffee is incredibly delicious! I later realized you can also buy the beans (I think you need to ask the day before). The Onsen has only an indoor bath, but the water itself was excellent. Rather than just staying overnight in winter, I’d like to come back and relax in the Onsen. Amenities do not include bath towels, so be sure not to forget to bring your own.

Two private hot spring baths, available 24 hours when open, are exceptional. One is an outdoor bath and the other is indoor. The outdoor bath is a bit small, so it might feel slightly cramped for two people, but the atmosphere is fantastic. The water flow is abundant. It's also convenient that you can check the availability of the baths from your room. The room had a private bathroom and toilet, but with only seven rooms in this accommodation and two private baths available, having a bathroom in the room might not be necessary. It would be nicer if that space were used to make the room larger instead. The room features a large TV with BS channels and thoughtfully placed USB outlets throughout—likely added later—which are very convenient. Meals have standard portions and variety but stand out for their excellent seasoning and creative presentation. Ingredients seem carefully selected as well. The wine selection appears to be sourced internationally by the owner; even as amateurs, we found both red and white wines delightful. The owner enjoys chatting with guests, making it enjoyable for those who like conversation. For those less comfortable with interaction, there's no overly intrusive approach typical of some accommodations like pensions. Pricing is reasonable, offering high overall satisfaction—a wonderful accommodation worth revisiting. One question: Is ordering at least one drink mandatory during meals? If so, it might be better to clarify this policy upfront since some non-drinkers may feel uncomfortable finding out on-site—even though soft drinks are available.

The autumn leaves every year are unfortunately accompanied by bad weather, but this is my first time at the holiday village. The bath, room, and meals were excellent with no complaints. The buffet selection was great, and the delicious food, post-bath coffee, and ice cream were also enjoyable. It would have been even better with good weather to enjoy Mount Bandai together, but I was still satisfied.

I visited again to enjoy the sauna. As always, this pension is very comfortable. The dog-friendly Room is spacious and cozy. The sukiyaki with horse meat for dinner was delicious, with tender meat. I had a delightful conversation with a couple from Niigata during the meal. Hearing about their efforts until the smelt fishing season opens made me appreciate being able to enjoy safe and fun smelt fishing. I plan to visit again at the end of the year and next year for smelt fishing!

We stayed as a family during the Obon holiday. It was a charming Japanese-style accommodation with a cozy atmosphere, beautifully decorated with carefully selected furnishings, and impeccably clean hallways that sparkled! Since it accommodates only two groups per day, it was quiet, and we enjoyed having the onsen all to ourselves. Dinner featured plenty of local dishes, though I couldn't finish everything and felt sorry about it. The only downside was running out of cold water and having to go buy some early in the morning. One concern was that the sound of the flush from the room's toilet echoed throughout the room at night, making it hard to sleep. I believe this might be due to structural issues but found it bothersome!

We stayed for three nights during the New Year holiday for skiing. The bath operates on a time-sharing system, allowing families to relax together. The large bathtub was perfect for warming up our tired and cold bodies. The meals offered a wide variety of dishes, and both breakfast and dinner were absolutely delicious. The staff kindly accommodated even our small requests, which was very helpful. Thanks to this, we had an incredibly enjoyable ski trip. Thank you so much! The ski resort is a bit far on foot, so traveling by rental car was more convenient.

Thank you very much for your hospitality. We enjoyed plenty of delicious, fresh seasonal vegetables. Everything tasted wonderful. It made us want to visit again in a different season. The food was so good that we forgot to take photos—so we only have the first and last ones. The Room was also very clean. Having a kitchen was great. The amenities were tasteful as well. This stay became a truly memorable experience. The staff welcomed us with warm smiles, guided us around the Accommodation with great care, and showed thoughtful attention to every detail—service that naturally made us want to return. We felt comfortable throughout our stay. The Onsen was, simply put, outstanding. Our Room had a private open-air bath that we could enjoy all to ourselves. The water temperature was perfect, and from the moment we stepped in, it felt as if all the tension left our body. Soaking slowly while looking out over the beautiful forest was pure bliss, and we enjoyed it many times during our stay. The amenities also had a wonderful fragrance and quickly became a favorite. We chose the sake tasting Plan, and each selection had its own character and was fun to compare. As a sake lover, I was especially happy to be able to order Hiroki Aiyama separately—an exceptionally rare bottle—so finding it on the menu genuinely thrilled me. It paired perfectly with Aizu dishes such as herring marinated with Japanese pepper leaves. Being able to enjoy such precious sake while traveling is a truly luxurious memory, and it felt like something unique to an Accommodation in Aizu. They also lend inflatable rings for the Onsen. At first I thought, “An inflatable ring in an Onsen?” but after trying it, I was honestly amazed by how comfortable it was. Floating effortlessly while soaking lets you relax even more deeply than usual. It made me appreciate both their creativity and their playful desire for guests to fully enjoy the Onsen experience. The inflatable ring left a strong impression—I could soak almost face-down in complete relaxation. The cuisine, Onsen, and service were all excellent; this wasn’t an Accommodation where only one aspect stood out—the entire experience was consistently high quality. Thoughtful care could be felt everywhere, and the whole place overflowed with genuine hospitality. People say travel is defined by where you stay, and this visit truly proved that saying right. From the superb Onsen and heartwarming service to the eye-opening inflatable ring experience, it became a wonderful trip filled with great memories. We would love to visit again in another season—thank you very much.”

We stayed here during Golden Week. The price was not a special rate, yet it included two meals for one night at this cost. We arrived without high expectations, but although the building is old, it was well cleaned, and all the staff were polite with excellent service. The food was also very delicious. If we have the opportunity, we would like to stay again.
