We stayed at Kazenosawa on September 20–21, 2026. After arriving, we were truly impressed by the wonderful atmosphere of the building. When we entered the room, there was a well-built irori hearth that we could use whenever we liked, so we were able to relax and enjoy a peaceful time by the fire after dinner. The dishes were incredibly luxurious—unlike anything we have experienced at other accommodations—and every single one was truly delicious. I only found out I was pregnant after making the reservation, but when I informed you on the day, you kindly and flexibly adjusted things such as how thoroughly certain dishes were cooked. Thank you very much. Once our baby is born, we would love to return and stay at Kazenosawa again as a family of three. We look forward to seeing you again. Thank you for such a special time.

The room is clean. Breakfast is delicious. The front desk staff provides polite guidance and has a pleasant demeanor. I look forward to staying again.

The meals were generous and very delicious. Considering the room rate, the portions were excellent and extremely satisfying. However, it was disappointing that the large public bath and open-air bath were small, and there were only two washing stations. Thank you for accommodating our last-minute request to change breakfast to a boxed meal. Next time, I’d like to stay longer and relax.

Being able to enjoy so many iwana dishes served at the table was truly appreciated! I was tired of buffets, so I really enjoyed the grilled iwana, iwana sushi, and sashimi—plenty of iwana in every form. I didn’t expect to have miso dengaku-style grilled iwana for dinner the next day as well, and it was delicious—I was so happy! The Onsen also left my skin feeling smooth and hydrated. The indoor bath and the semi-circular open-air bath were both wonderful. All of the staff seemed to get along well and were kind and helpful, which made me feel at ease. The shop also had tasty items like soba noodles, sweets, and snacks (such as hoya), so I was happy to be able to buy souvenirs too. Thank you very much for taking care of us! I’ll definitely come back for the iwana料理 and Onsen again. Since it’s located up in the mountains, a Multiple Night Stay is recommended for anyone who wants to relax slowly in peace and quiet.

The staff provided very courteous service, making my stay pleasant. Located along the highway, it was convenient for accessing various destinations. I stayed for a Multiple Night Stay with my motorcycle, and I appreciated being allowed to park it near the entrance during rainy weather. There is also a convenience store nearby, which was very handy.
