I think this Hotel will satisfy a wide range of guests, from families with children to older travelers. There are outdoor activities, and inside the Hotel you can enjoy a traditional snack corner, table tennis, karaoke, bowling (it’s old and may not be operating), a pool, a manga corner, and a game corner (probably for younger kids). There may be even more. The meals are luxurious every time. It makes you want to come back. This was my second stay, and I’d love to visit again! The Hotel is also close to Lucky Pierrot and downtown Hakodate, so the location is great.

I chose the Onuma Prince Hotel for my friend visiting from afar. They were delighted, saying they could relax, fully enjoy the Onsen, and sleep well—it was wonderful. I’m grateful for the staff’s warm smiles and kind service.

The property was comfortable even for a wheelchair user, so we were able to enjoy our family trip stress-free. Thank you for your kind support, including parking right in front of the entrance and providing amenities such as a shower chair. At breakfast, we were warmly greeted with “Good morning” and guided to our seats with a smile; everything was delicious and very satisfying—fresh vegetables, firm momen tofu with a rich soybean flavor, miso from a long-established local producer, thick-cut bacon, curry, and more. There are also Rooms with a train view, which railway fans will love. We’re glad we could stay again this summer as well, marking the 20th anniversary of Hokuto City and the 10th anniversary of the Hokkaido Shinkansen!

We were completely satisfied with everything—the Room, the meals, and the Onsen! We truly appreciated all the accommodations made for my nephew’s allergies. The kids also found lots of stag beetles and made wonderful summer vacation memories. It looks like this will become an annual tradition.

As this Accommodation has only just opened and there weren’t many Reviews yet, we arrived feeling a bit nervous, but we had a wonderful time with our dog. We chose the Plan with two meals included, and the BBQ dinner came with an amazing variety of ingredients: surf clams, whelks, whole grilled squid, atka mackerel, beef, pork, chicken, seasonal vegetables, plus soup curry to finish and even dessert—so we were completely full. There was plenty of food, but because it was simply seasoned with salt and pepper it felt light and let us fully enjoy the natural flavors. Since the BBQ is on the terrace, I recommend checking sunset time and setting your schedule accordingly. We started after dark this time and ended up having a BBQ in low light. Until we noticed there was a terrace lantern provided on the living room table, we did our best eating while lighting things up with our phone flashlight. In the morning they delivered a breakfast set to our Room, and we enjoyed a relaxing meal on the terrace while looking out at Mt. Komagatake. The salad, eggs, and milk were all delicious—an excellent menu that really let us savor Hokkaido’s bounty. The most moving part of this stay was the star-filled night sky. With no surrounding lights at all, countless stars spread across the entire sky—it was so beautiful we could have watched forever—and it became an unforgettable family memory. There is also a fireplace in the living room, so I’m sure it would be warm in winter with an equally wonderful view. We’d love to stay again. Thank you as always for your hospitality. I love the quality of the hot springs, and both the sulfur spring and the bicarbonate spring are wonderfully relaxing—I always look forward to them. The food is also delicious, and I truly appreciate how efficient and attentive the staff are. I’d like to visit again when squid season comes around. Thank you very much for this stay.
