This was our third stay. We stayed with three families, including our sons. They kindly provided a large banquet room so we could have dinner together, and we enjoyed a lively, wonderful meal. As always, we were impressed by the heartfelt dishes made with seasonal ingredients. Thanks to the attentive service down to the smallest details, we had a very comfortable stay. As expected of Kamenoi Bessou.

My wife and I stayed here as a reward after work. Everything was wonderful—the butler service, the food, and the atmosphere. The early evening with a hint of autumn and the refreshing mornings were both amazing. Staying for about two nights would be perfect. Next time, I’d like to try another Room as well. Thank you—my wife was very satisfied too. The meat miso we received was so good we couldn’t stop eating rice.

The meals were delicious, and having a private family bath allowed us to relax and enjoy our stay. I was happy that yukata-style loungewear was provided. I did feel the waistband elastic could have been a bit tighter, but it was still comfortable to wear. We could sense thoughtful attention in many little details, which made us feel warmly welcomed. This was my first stay in Yufuin, and I chose this Accommodation. The staff’s hospitality was very pleasant, and both dinner and breakfast were a delight—each dish was not only delicious but also beautifully presented, making it a truly blissful time. The Onsen was wonderful as well; after bathing, my skin felt silky smooth. Another Accommodation I’d love to visit again has been added to my list.

I stayed here with my mother. The Accommodation was spotless, and the meals were thoughtfully prepared and truly delicious! Above all, the hospitality from everyone at the Accommodation was outstanding. When I come to Yufuin again, it’s not just that I want to stay in Yufuin—I want to visit Yufuin so I can stay at this Accommodation.

This was my second stay. Last time, I stayed during a snowy season, so this time I was able to relax until dinner and fully enjoy the sight of green trees swaying and the gentle calls of evening cicadas from my clean, refined Room. The meals here are delicious both in the morning and in the evening, with plenty of vegetables. Of course, the fish and meat were also excellent—everything was flawless. Above all, the staff’s smiles were wonderful, and their service was attentive and professional, which made me feel truly happy. I will definitely come back to stay again when I have time. This was my first stay at this Accommodation, and I stayed in the “Kunugi” Room. After reading Reviews beforehand, I arrived excited about the view from the Room and the generous meals—and in conclusion: it was amazing!! The view of Mt. Yufu from the open-air bath in the Room was breathtaking, and the interior had a lovely retro feel. Above all, it was incredibly spacious! That said, I personally don’t do well with insects, so coexisting with nature was a bit challenging (lol). I didn’t use the open-air bath much; instead, I enjoyed taking in the great outdoors through the glass window of the indoor bath. It made me think, “I want to come in winter!” and “I definitely want to come again!”—I’m already checking my schedule. Just as the Reviews said, the meals were very filling. There’s no way you won’t end up full! Everything was so delicious that I even had seconds of rice. They also offered to make onigiri for a late-night snack, so I gladly took them up on it (lol). After dinner, a staff member delivered the onigiri to my Room. I’ve stayed at many Ryokan across Kyushu, but this Accommodation is outstanding in terms of value for money and hospitality—an unquestionable 5 stars!! Seeing is believing. Highly recommended!! In winter, with clearer air, I’m sure you can see even more beautiful stars—so I’d love to visit again later this year or early next year. Thank you so much for such wonderful memories.

Thank you very much—I’m truly grateful for such a wonderful trip experience. I had errands in Hita City (where record-high temperatures have been continuing), so I stayed overnight in Yufuin as well. It was intensely hot that day too، but from evening through night Yufuin felt like another world—so cool that air conditioning didn’t seem necessary. While winters are certainly very cold، I never expected Yufuin to be this cool in summer، so it turned out to be a happy surprise. The Onsen temperature was perfect—even in summer—for soaking slowly，and all my fatigue disappeared. In the morning，with Mt．Yufu right ahead of me，surrounded by birdsong，I enjoyed an unhurried soak. It was amazingly cool even then. As described，the shower does take a little time before hot water comes out. If set to mist mode，it stays cold. There are two private family baths، but one was under adjustment and unavailable، so I deducted one star. In-room drinks were available freely. Daifuku were prepared according to our party size؛ since they were cream-based، those who don’t like creamy sweets didn’t eat them. A more classic type of sweet might suit everyone better—but I personally enjoyed them. Dinner started with eel shabu-shabu before the main Wagyu steak course. I felt slightly uneasy at first—but it turned out absolutely superb!! It was part of the July menu (Fumizuki)، and I'd love to have it again. The plump texture and deliciousness clearly came from careful preparation. The soup after drawing flavor from the broth became wonderfully rich؛ I asked for refills many times。 They offered zosui (rice porridge)，but we chose to enjoy it as soup instead。 Then beautifully glossy white rice arrived—and turning that into porridge would have been such a waste，so I'm glad we kept them separate。 All other dishes also left my family—usually quite strict with reviews—very satisfied。 We could bring our dog without any hesitation۔ There is also a dog run that's just right for small dogs，and ours looked delighted running around。 Even though we'd stayed years ago ،they remembered that our dog hadn't finished his meal then ،and had eaten half at dinner و half at breakfast—which made us feel reassured۔ Service-wise ،there wasn't even once when something felt off۔ Although our interaction time wasn't long ，they took great care of us۔ Thank you again for everything۔ I hope we can return throughout different seasons۔

We truly enjoyed both dinner and breakfast, savoring delicious dishes made with local ingredients. The in-room bath was a luxurious free-flowing Onsen, available anytime for a relaxing soak. The Room was spacious and comfortable, and our whole family was very satisfied with choosing this Accommodation.

Everything was very clean, and we had a comfortable stay. They provided drinks and sweets, and we really felt their hospitality. The Room and bath were stylish, and I think they would be popular with younger guests as well. There were also plenty of amenities provided. I was surprised to find the same shampoo and conditioner my daughter uses. The private dog run was spacious, and our dog was happy running around. It’s within walking distance of the station, and there’s a convenience store nearby. It was a wonderful Accommodation—thank you very much. Thank you for arranging the beds for three guests.

The Accommodation, the staff, the meals, and the Onsen were all outstanding. The meat and eggs in particular were unforgettable. If I visit Yufuin again, I will definitely stay here!

Although the building and Room are not the newest, the staff’s thoughtful hospitality—clearly reflecting excellent training—felt genuinely warm rather than scripted. The food was also stylish and delicious, and we had a very comfortable stay.

The Room I had wanted to stay in for a long time was just as wonderful as I expected. This meal menu was very good!! If I may be picky, since there is plenty of hot pot, I personally think thinly sliced pork would be easier to eat. I was able to relax again this time. I will visit again.

Thank you very much for taking care of us during our 4-night Multiple Night Stay. This time, we stayed in the “Oryu” Room. First of all, every staff member was incredibly kind and clearly loves animals. Everyone greeted us with a smile, was gentle and attentive, brought anything we needed right away, and did their best to accommodate our requests. I’m truly grateful—your staff deserves more than five stars. Next, the meals. We were told they were prepared in a special-suite style, and both the taste and quality were excellent—high standard, delicious, and thoughtfully varied. Even over several days, we never got tired of them and enjoyed every meal. With longer stays, menus can sometimes become difficult for the kitchen side as well, but you handled everything so carefully. Since I’m also a small eater, you kindly let me choose from the menu and adjusted portion sizes accordingly. This also deserves more than five stars. As mentioned earlier, your care for animals was also very thoughtful and helpful. I visited with both a dog and a cat, and it seemed comfortable for both of them. The hot spring water quality was also wonderful. As for the guest room layout: there is a long corridor between the Room area and the bath area, which felt slightly inconvenient, so I deducted one star there. On the other hand, having an additional Room separate from the main living space made it easy to stay comfortably even when traveling with friends—an excellent design. Regarding amenities: there are no pet amenities provided (so bringing your own is necessary), but having at least a litter box available would be very helpful. The surroundings were also fantastic—like a hidden mountain hamlet. By chance we were able to see “Children’s Kagura,” which has deep history and is clearly cherished by the community. The performers practice extensively (twice a week), and while they are indeed children (apparently ranging from 3rd grade elementary school to 3rd year high school), their performance was outstanding and truly impressive. If your dates happen to coincide with it during your stay nearby, it’s absolutely worth seeing. (It seems Kagura is held several times a year; I’d love to see other performances as well.) I also felt that preserving traditional Japanese festivals like this is part of what makes this area so special—and I think it may become even more well-known in the future. It’s about 30 minutes by car to Yufuin Station, so even on an extended stay you can easily go shopping for necessities. Sightseeing around Yufuin should be convenient as well—and Beppu is also about 30 minutes away via expressway—so overall it feels like an excellent location for travelers who want to explore.

The Room interior and hospitality were outstanding. The cuisine was especially excellent, with a course featuring local vegetables, rice, and meat. It made for a truly wonderful anniversary.

My spouse and I stayed here as a couple, and our detached Room came with an open-air bath and a footbath. The Room was very clean and made for a truly relaxing stay. We had our meals in a private dining room in a separate building, and even though there were many guests, we hardly ran into anyone. Each dish was beautifully presented, and the taste and portions were just right—we really enjoyed it! Above all, the morning mist in Yufuin was absolutely breathtaking. This is an Accommodation we would love to visit again if we have the chance.

This was our first visit for a birthday anniversary trip. Everything was outstanding. There are only 13 Rooms, and each is a separate, unique detached villa. The interior is thoughtfully designed down to every detail, spacious and comfortable, and the garden is beautifully maintained, making it a very relaxing stay. As Onsen lovers, we barely had time to rest—we fully enjoyed all seven private baths as well as the bath in our Room. There is no large public bath, but there are six private Onsen baths that you can use freely at any time. The water is free-flowing and feels wonderful. The meals were also beautifully presented with great attention to appearance as well as ingredients—decorated with orchids, stunning to look at, and very generous in portion size. From wagyu beef to lobster and shark fin, it was an incredibly luxurious and delicious dining experience. I recommend arriving with a big appetite. The staff’s hospitality and service were excellent too. We were truly glad we chose this place for our anniversary trip—it’s an Accommodation worth visiting even if you have to fly there. I’d love to come back in another season, and I’m also curious about other Rooms, so I’m sure we’ll return. If you’re unsure where to stay, I highly recommend this place.

Choosing the Plan with breakfast and dinner was absolutely the right decision. Using the ingredients as they are, with a clever twist here and there, we found ourselves saying “oh!” again and again—it was a real delight. We highly recommend the meal Plan. The Room was clean, and the Onsen was very relaxing. It exceeded our expectations for the price. We’re already looking forward to the meals on our next stay. Our sincere thanks to all of your staff. This was my first stay. Since there is no toilet, I rated the Facility 4, but the main house is nearby so it wasn’t much of an issue. The dome tent was comfortable, and even the heavy rain from a linear precipitation band didn’t bother us at all. The furnishings such as the chairs and lamps were lovely, the meals were delicious, and we were able to relax with our dog. All of the staff were always smiling and responded politely. Afterward, I contacted you because I had forgotten my hat, and you handled it right away. I’d love to visit again.

I stay here frequently. I always feel relaxed thanks to the hospitality, meals, Room, and Onsen. The meals are very delicious—so much so that I end up overeating. The Room is also great: it’s comfortable for working and comes with an Onsen, making it perfect for a refreshing break. I will definitely stay again.
