We truly felt your wonderful service and hospitality throughout our stay. The location, the meals, the baths, and all of the staff were genuinely excellent. You even prepared kaiseki cuisine for our 9-year-old son and accommodated a change to our breakfast time. Both the dinner kaiseki and breakfast were absolutely delicious, and it was clear how much care and effort went into them.

We stayed as a group of three—my mother, my wife, and myself—to celebrate my mother’s 88th birthday. We had requested slightly smaller portions for the meals, and it was more than satisfying; we were able to relax and enjoy everything at a leisurely pace. As a surprise, the staff kindly prepared a heartwarming celebration for her 88th birthday, and I’m truly grateful that I was able to show my appreciation as a son in such a meaningful way. Thank you very much for your thoughtful care for my mother, who has difficulty walking, especially during transportation to and from the station and to the annex. Lastly, when you said “Please come again,” I could accept those words sincerely. Thank you very much.

The Hotel is located right in front of Miyajima Port, making access excellent and extremely convenient. Even before check-in and after check-out, we could use the lounge and enjoy ice cream, coffee, and other drinks. Depending on the time of day, there was also a momiji manju service, plus vouchers to redeem momiji manju at shops on Miyajima (including fried momiji), and candy ice cream after the bath—everything was thoughtfully provided. The facilities were very clean, and the buffet featured carefully prepared dishes made with locally sourced ingredients. With an all-inclusive plan that included alcohol as well, we were very satisfied overall. The lemon herb tea in the restaurant was especially delicious; we highly appreciated that it used Hiroshima lemons and herbs, to the point that we wanted to buy it. We think it would be great if it were sold in the Hotel’s souvenir corner or similar shop.

We visited Miyajima as a family for the first time. Although it rained, we made wonderful memories thanks to the island’s solemn atmosphere and the warm hospitality of the local people. Everyone at Kinsuikan was very helpful even before our trip, kindly answering our questions, and on the day of our stay every staff member greeted us with a smile and attentive service, which left a strong impression. There were many young staff members as well, and their energy really uplifted us. It was a time that made us feel Miyajima will continue to be a wonderful place in the years ahead. Thank you very much for taking such good care of us. We would love to visit again in a different season next time. Thank you again.

My wife and I stayed here together. After arriving on Miyajima, we were taken to the Hotel by Iwaso’s Shuttle Service. The driver who picked us up was exceptional—polite, refined, and easy to talk with—and in that moment we knew we had made the right choice. The service at check-in and during dinner was also excellent, allowing us to spend a truly relaxing time on Itsukushima. Dinner was not only delicious; we also enjoyed chatting with the staff who served us. When I asked at check-in whether raw oysters were available, I was told they are difficult to offer this season—but we were lucky enough to have raw oysters served at dinner. The sashimi selection (sea bream, amberjack, and fatty tuna) was well balanced; Japanese dishes were paired with salsa sauce in an interesting way; and the sukiyaki portion was generous. We were very satisfied. The Room felt clean and well kept. There was a vanity sink by the window, letting in natural light, which made it bright and convenient to use. The large public bath had plenty of space between the washing area and the tub, and the spacious open-air bath was another highlight. The location is also very convenient: about a 3-minute walk to Itsukushima Shrine and 7–8 minutes to the ropeway station. They also arranged our night cruise to see the Great Torii gate and provided Shuttle Service to the pier, which was extremely helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed the comfortable hospitality of this long-established Ryokan as well as its elegant atmosphere throughout—including the corridors and landings. We would love to stay again.

We stayed here with our dog. It’s close to Miyajimaguchi, and to avoid the heat we took the ferry to Miyajima around 5:30 PM. The Itsukushima Shrine was truly impressive. Since our plan was No Meals Included, we got anago bento to-go from a nearby shop and ate it in our Room. We also appreciated the light complimentary breakfast. The Room was thoroughly cleaned, with no odors at all, and we couldn’t hear any noise from other rooms—so we had a very comfortable stay! We’d love to stay again. Thank you very much.

The Hotel feels like an art gallery, with artworks displayed throughout, making it fun to explore. The Hotel makes generous use of wood and stone, creating a comfortable space, and the welcome and staff were very warm and reassuring. I was happy that the bathroom amenities were from uka. However, it was disappointing that the rooftop bath is mixed-gender and requires swimwear—I wanted to enjoy the view from the rooftop. I would appreciate it if there were designated time slots. The meals were also delicious and carefully prepared, which was great.

The meals were truly delicious! Dinner was especially great—I enjoyed plenty of sashimi, and the best dish of all was the steak. I’m really glad I tried it, and I’m grateful to the chef who prepared everything. Dessert was wonderful too—I left completely full and very satisfied!
