Thank you very much for taking such great care of us again. While relaxing in the hot springs and enjoying the rich, flavorful meals, we are impressed every time by the staff’s attentive and thoughtful service. This is our favorite place to stay. We will book again, and we look forward to returning.

I stayed here with my mother and nephew on a trip for three. We were able to relax in a separate Room, and we could also borrow colorful yukata. This trip was to help cheer up my mother before she begins medical treatment, so it was truly wonderful. Breakfast was gently seasoned, and it seemed my mother was able to enjoy plenty of it as well. I would love to stay again. Thank you very much.

During our trip to Ise, we stayed at this Ryokan in Toba and had a truly wonderful time. From the warm welcome on arrival, the bus driver’s cheerful conversation helped us relax and made us feel comfortable from the very start of our journey. At the Ryokan, the Onsen was exceptional. I was so happy that my skin felt silky smooth that I ended up soaking six times—I couldn’t have been more satisfied. The staff also kindly gave us detailed advice for sightseeing the next day. They even considered train schedules, which helped us make the most of our limited time. Of course, we were completely satisfied with everything—the view from our Room and all of the meals. In every moment, we felt the staff’s thoughtful attention to detail, and it was clear that they are consistently well trained. Finding a Ryokan that genuinely made me think, “I want to stay here again,” is one of my favorite memories from this trip. Thank you very much to all of the staff. When we visit Ise and Toba again, we would love to stay with you.

This is a quiet, relaxing Accommodation that feels like a hidden retreat. The bath in the Room is an Onsen, and I enjoyed it many times. All of the staff were very pleasant. The meals were teppanyaki dishes that are hard to find elsewhere, and everything was delicious. The chef’s special miso was also great, so I bought some. It seems every Room type is different, so next time I’d like to stay in a different Room.

It was a wonderful Hotel that exuded classic history and elegance. Not only were the in-house Facilities excellent, but we were also truly impressed by the delicious cuisine and the breathtaking panoramic view over Toba Bay. Above all, the staff’s attentive care and warm hospitality were outstanding, allowing us to spend our entire stay in comfort and relaxation. At the club lounge, we enjoyed a leisurely time along with high-quality drinks and lounge-exclusive dishes. The cheesecake—so well known that people say “Toba International Hotel means cheesecake”—was indeed as delicious as its reputation suggests, adding a special touch to our stay. In addition, the “Pearl Aurora Bath” infused with pearl ingredients at Shiojitei on the grounds was exceptional; its shimmering water gently soothed away our travel fatigue. The food, location, bath, and service from the staff—everything made for a highly satisfying stay. This is a truly wonderful Hotel that we would love to visit again. Thank you very much.

This was my first stay, and the Room was spacious and very relaxing. The in-room bath and open-air bath were wonderful and felt amazing. Dinner offered a wide variety of dishes, and I was full and satisfied—it was delicious. I’d love to visit again.

The property has been renovated and feels exceptionally clean. The front desk, guest rooms, and restaurant all offer breathtaking views. If it had an open-air bath, it would be perfect.

We stayed here for our wedding anniversary. Thank you very much for your thoughtful consideration regarding the room upgrade! We had high expectations since it had just been renovated, and it absolutely lived up to them. The entire property was clean, stylish, and comfortable. We also loved that the floors are tatami throughout, so you can walk around without slippers or shoes—it’s so easy and feels great. Both the large public bath and the open-air-style bath in our room were wonderful. Soaking while looking out at the greenery was incredibly relaxing. The welcome drinks and post-bath ice cream were a nice touch as well—this kind of hospitality is exactly what we love about Kyoritsu Resort properties. Since we were tired from walking so much, we really appreciated having a Nespresso machine in the room so we could enjoy a good coffee at our own pace. Every staff member was polite and pleasant, which made our stay truly enjoyable. When we asked how to get to places we wanted to visit, they gave us a map and explained everything while marking it with a red pen, so we didn’t get lost at all. When we asked about the stone steps location, they even guided us there in person—we were very grateful for such attentive service. Dinner and breakfast were both excellent; every dish was delicious. I’m sorry I couldn’t finish everything because I don’t eat much. Our server was especially cheerful and courteous—the most memorable part of our stay. When I said I was too full to continue, they kindly suggested that even just one bite would be enough but encouraged me to try something from Ise. I feel bad that I still left some behind after only a bite, but it was delicious and became a wonderful memory. Thank you very much. We chose this inn because we wanted to visit early in the morning, and it’s about a 15-minute walk to Naiku (the Inner Shrine). The early-morning visit felt refreshing and serene—choosing this inn was definitely the right decision for that reason as well. Just two small points for future improvement: There wasn’t a clock in the room, so we had to check the time on our phones. It would have been nice to have a clock for quick reference. Our dinner time slot was 8:00 PM (the later seating), so we planned to bathe beforehand. After bathing I wanted to wear yukata but wasn’t sure if yukata were allowed in the dining area, so I changed into regular clothes—however many guests were wearing yukata. It would be helpful if guests could be told at check-in that yukata are acceptable. Overall, this was an extremely satisfying stay! If we come back to visit Ise again, we would love to stay here again. Thank you for giving us such wonderful memories.

I stayed here with my mother in her 80s. From the moment we arrived, we felt thoughtful attention to detail, and it left a wonderful impression. Enjoying a delicious cheesecake while looking out at the ocean was lovely, and we ended up relaxing in the lobby for quite a while. We stayed in two Japanese-style Rooms, which were spacious and comfortable, and the futons were exceptionally cozy. In the evening, there were unexpected activities like roasting marshmallows and watching fireworks, which became great memories. We only had breakfast, but it was elegantly seasoned with light flavors and generously featured ingredients from Mie Prefecture—everything was delicious. The portion size was just right. The baths were kept very clean, and all of them—including the open-air bath and pearl bath—were truly relaxing. The staff’s courteous service also made a great impression. We chose Shiojitei to celebrate my mother’s full recovery, and I’m glad she enjoyed it. I would definitely like to stay again!

At dinner, the proprietress came to speak with us, and when we mentioned our 30th wedding anniversary, she gave us a wonderful handwritten gift that truly moved us. We were so happy. We have it proudly displayed at home. The unexpected present became a very special memory.\nThe views from the Room and the dining area were exceptional as well.\nAt breakfast, we also had the chance to chat with a staff member from our hometown. We were touched by everyone’s kindness and thoughtfulness.\nIt was a truly wonderful Accommodation. Thank you very much. We hope to visit again someday.

Thank you very much for your hospitality. This was my second stay. The Onsen in the Room is silky and wonderfully relaxing. All the staff were very kind, and I also enjoyed a variety of snacks and drinks in the lounge. I look forward to visiting again.

Whenever I visit Mie Prefecture, I always choose Todaya for my Accommodation. The Room is clean, and the Onsen is wonderfully relaxing. The meals are so plentiful and high-quality that I can’t eat another bite! Above all, the staff’s attentiveness and hospitality are perfect. I’ll be staying again next year. I’m already looking forward to it.

My spouse and I stayed for a Multiple Night Stay (2 nights) on the Standard Plan. The Room was spacious and very clean, and we were able to relax in great comfort. The guest room had an indoor bath, but the complimentary 45-minute private open-air bath was truly wonderful. Being able to soak side by side at our own pace was the highlight of our stay, so we hardly used the indoor bath. The open-air bath also had a lovely atmosphere and became a great travel memory. The meals exceeded our expectations. Every dish was delicious, with plenty of variety—we were completely satisfied. It was especially memorable to see my wife, who usually eats lightly, enjoying far more than usual, which shows just how good everything was. Since it was a Multiple Night Stay, we expected similar meals each day, but on the second night we were impressed by a completely different course featuring grilled oysters, fried oysters, and Matsusaka beef sukiyaki. What stayed with us most was the spiny lobster miso soup at breakfast on the second day. Although it was small in size, it used one whole spiny lobster—an indulgent dish that tasted amazing and remains unforgettable. The staff’s thoughtful attention and warm hospitality were also excellent, making our entire stay pleasant from start to finish. Overall, this Accommodation exceeded our expectations in every way. When we visit Toba Aquarium again next time, we would love to stay here again.

What makes your Hotel so exceptional is your challenging spirit—never settling for the current appeal, but always striving to create new moments of inspiration. As a devoted fan of Toba Grand Hotel—and as “Donguri Captain”—please allow me to share a few ideas with heartfelt appreciation: 1) Extend lounge hours (until 11:00 p.m.) Spending time in that sophisticated lounge is truly special. If guests could enjoy complimentary drinks until 11:00 p.m., the evening would become an even more memorable experience. 2) Revitalize the retro game arcade & festival-style corner If an energetic “festival corner” were added to that nostalgic and welcoming game arcade area, it would surely become a signature spot where both adults and children—across generations—could have an amazing time together! 3) Seasonal limited-time “all-you-can-eat fruit” buffet feature For example, “all-you-can-eat strawberries” in early spring or “all-you-can-eat melon” in summer. Having seasonal highlight events at the buffet would help attract repeat guests throughout the year and generate even more buzz—I’m confident it would be a great success. Of course, I fully understand that your staff’s working environment and operational considerations must come first. With that in mind, I would be grateful if you might keep these ideas in mind simply as one fan’s dream of “how wonderful it would be if this became possible.” With Toba Grand Hotel’s potential—and the passion of your entire team—I truly believe you will continue to be the region’s undisputed number-one Hotel. We stayed for our wedding anniversary with a Plan where we went fishing and the head chef prepared the fish we caught. We had such a wonderful time, and it was an Accommodation that made us truly glad we chose it for our anniversary. First, the atmosphere of the Room was fantastic, and it was lovely that you can see the ocean from every Room. It felt great to relax while gazing out at the sea from our Room. While fishing, we caught a fairly large fish that we both said might be a conger eel. We never expected it to be pike conger, so we were surprised when we found out later (laugh). If you bring the fish you catch back to the Accommodation by the designated time, the head chef will turn it into one dish for dinner. This time, our pike conger was served as a dish layering zucchini tempura and pike conger tempura, with ume plum paste and salt on the side. The flesh was incredibly fluffy and delicious. I think what makes this Plan special is being able to have “the fish we caught ourselves turned into such a wonderful dish.” It also became an unexpected travel memory. For dinner, I had mentioned in advance that I’m not good with raw fish, so they cooked mine through. They prepared it in ways that suited each type of fish—grilled or lightly seared—so I could enjoy everything deliciously. What left an especially strong impression was how attentive the staff were. They cleared away an egg-and-soy dipping sauce that came with sashimi once, but later my husband and I mentioned that since there would be udon at the end after Matsusaka beef shabu-shabu, “We should have kept that egg-and-soy sauce.” Then they brought us a fresh serving of egg-and-soy sauce, which made us very happy. It felt like they even noticed our small conversation; not only was the food excellent, but their thoughtfulness really stood out. During our stay there was also a group visiting from overseas, but because dining areas were separated, it never felt noisy and we could enjoy our meal at ease. The baths were also very spacious and well equipped—sauna; open-air bath; cold bath; jacuzzi; standing bath; and more. It was so nice that we wanted to go in again and again during our stay. The Room, cuisine, baths—and above all the considerate care from everyone on staff—were all completely satisfying. It became a wonderful stay worthy of our wedding anniversary. This is an Accommodation where we’d love to stay again for another special occasion.

We were planning an Onsen trip to celebrate my mother, and it was the first trip for three generations of our family. Since my mother cannot use the large public bath, we looked for a Room with a private open-air bath. Thanks to that, she was able to enjoy the Onsen. The bath in our Room was also fed by Onsen water, and she was very happy. We chose the standard kaiseki meal, but the portions were more than enough—so much that my sons had to give up at both dinner and breakfast. When I requested a cake for my mother’s 88th birthday celebration, they even prepared a red celebratory vest (chanchanko) for her as well, and we truly appreciated their thoughtfulness. The building was clean. The large public bath was small but spotless, and we were very satisfied. In the lobby there was a local sake tasting service, and in the morning there was also coffee service—everything felt very well provided. Our whole family was extremely satisfied. All of the staff were kind, and we had a comfortable stay. It became a wonderful celebratory trip. Thank you very much.

We stayed here with four adults—my parents and us as a couple. This was our second visit, and we were able to relax thanks to the seasonal cuisine and wide selection of drinks. Since everyone has different preferences, the all-inclusive plan made it easy for all of us to enjoy both the meals and the baths, making it a truly wonderful trip.

This was our first visit with three people, including an elderly guest. Thank you for offering to lend us a wheelchair as soon as we arrived. Our Room was a top-floor Japanese-Western style room with a great view, and being close to the elevator was very helpful. The meals were thoughtfully prepared and delicious. The only disappointment was the open-air bath: the stairs leading to it were too steep, and it felt so quiet around there that it was a little unsettling to go alone even during the day. All of the staff were extremely polite, friendly, and cheerful, and we truly appreciated your hospitality. Thank you as well for your consideration regarding the wheelchair. We think this Accommodation is very easy to use for families with small children and for elderly guests. We would like to stay here again when we visit Toba.

It was our first stay in a year, and we were accommodated in a spacious Room with new, clean tatami mats. We requested abalone as steak and spiny lobster grilled, and it was a very satisfying day. For breakfast, we enjoyed plenty of delicious Milky Queen rice and simmered sea bream bones before heading home. Thank you very much.

From the moment you step into the Hotel—whether in the lounge, your Room, or the restaurant—you can spend your time enjoying breathtaking views wherever you are. Dinner enjoyed while gazing out at the vast ocean filling the windows featured dishes that paired perfectly with drinks, and with free-flow beverages, we couldn’t help but indulge. Although the building is a bit old, the front desk and restaurant staff were warm and welcoming, and our whole family seemed to have a wonderful time.
