5) Staff: Everyone was very kind and flexible with various requests. The international staff also speak Japanese well and have great smiles. Compared with other dog-friendly Livemax Resort properties where pets are allowed, this one is outstandingly better. That said, it isn’t “

We had a wonderful time—laughing together as my husband and I saw sides of our dog we don’t usually get to see. The pet amenities were well stocked too, so we had everything we needed throughout our stay. When we visit Izu again, this is definitely where we want to stay. Tha

The staff were kind and even interacted with our dog by talking to it and taking photos—excellent service overall! Dogs could roam freely within the accommodation, and since most guests had pets as well, we felt comfortable throughout our stay. Note that there is no elevator

② Although we didn’t have high expectations based on the exterior of the building (apologies), our renovated room was very clean, odor-free, and our dog relaxed immediately. ③ The seafood Italian dinner course was delicious—Italian cuisine is rare in Izu! On the second night, t

I have visited multiple times with my pet, and the meals are delicious and satisfying in portion. However, I found leftover waste from a previous guest's dog in the pet basket. There was also an instance during a past stay where the pet dishes were not cleaned properly. I w

We stayed as a couple and had a wonderful time. It was within walking distance from Izu-Kogen Station, which made it very convenient for us since we’re not comfortable driving. The meals were delicious—local Izu fish and the kinmedai (splendid alfonsino) mixed rice were outstanding. The lava-grill cooking was not only stylish but also very easy to use, which was a big help. Having a private sauna was an incredible luxury. When we had trouble connecting to the Wi‑Fi and contacted the on-site staff, they responded quickly. The management is attentive, so we felt at ease. Since it’s an entire home rental, it seems perfect for families with dogs or babies to enjoy without worrying about others. (There were also fence-like barriers.) Next time, we’d like to visit with multiple families.

We stayed for a Multiple Night Stay, and the meals were completely different each night; both were very elaborate and delicious. Even though it was just the two of us on the second day, we were delighted by the generous dishes and desserts. If I had to mention one thing, since dinner lasts an hour, the wooden chairs—though beautiful—are a bit hard, so having seat cushions would be appreciated.

I made my first Reservation at this Hotel because a friend staying with me wanted to bring their dog. The owner and his wife were very friendly and easy to talk to. The Room had a standard unit bath, but the large stone communal bath was spacious and very relaxing. The best part here is the food. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious, and we left completely full. It’s a Hotel I’d visit just for the meals. I’d definitely like to stay again.
