Since we don’t do sightseeing, we focus on meals and the Onsen and look for an Accommodation where we can relax in our Room—this place is perfect! Above all, the food is delicious, the Onsen feels wonderful, and we can spend time at ease in a simple yet spotlessly cleaned Room. The Wi‑Fi connects smoothly as well, so it’s completely stress-free. With each dish, we enjoyed imagining how it was prepared while looking at the menu, and once again our hearts were full—it was pure happiness. Not only is the cooking excellent, but the couple’s calm and gentle atmosphere is so comforting that this has become our favorite Accommodation. We’ll be back in a different season—thank you in advance.

This was our second stay. Since our third son (our beloved dog) joined our family five years ago, we only choose Accommodations where we can stay together, so we’ve stayed at many pet-friendly places around the Kanto area. With new Accommodations opening all the time, there are only a few we’ve ever revisited—but this one is exceptionally satisfying, so we returned during the Obon holiday period. With pet-friendly Accommodations, there’s often something you have to compromise on, but this place is almost perfect. The balcony of our guest Room had an open-air Onsen bath, a sauna, a cold plunge bath, and a relaxation area with a shower—plus an open-air bath for dogs. Inside the Room, there was a theater room with two massage chairs and a dining room where you can enjoy meals in your Room. The French cuisine served there is truly delicious. Recently, more and more Accommodations have excellent Facilities, but I don’t know any other place where you can enjoy food of this quality in your Room with your dog. Once again, everything was absolutely delicious. If you’re looking for the best Accommodation to stay with your dog, I highly recommend giving this place a try.

I had such a wonderful impression when I stayed here before that this is my second visit. From the welcome sweets to the Japanese-Western fusion dinner and the hearty breakfast, everything was delicious. All meals were brought to our Room, so there was no need to change clothes, and we could relax completely. I also appreciated that when I informed them in advance about ingredients I can’t eat, they accommodated me properly. During our 3-day/2-night stay, all of the staff took great care of us. I had the chance to speak with five staff members, and every one of them provided excellent service! They were polite and warm, and I truly felt well looked after. The only thing I noticed was that the shower drainage was a little slow. Even so, overall it was a lovely Accommodation where we felt very comfortable. Taking an open-air bath early in the morning while listening to bush warblers singing was an unforgettable experience. I’d love to visit again in a different season.

Each Room comes with a private open-air bath, and meals can be served in the Room as well, so we were able to relax without worrying about others. What made us happiest was how well the Accommodation is set up for dogs! In addition to a private dog run just for our Room, there is an indoor dog run on-site, and outside the Accommodation there are two more dog runs—one with wood chips and one with grass—making four in total. We could choose where to play depending on our mood and the weather. The meals were also delicious, making great use of Izu’s fish, meat, and vegetables. There was an excellent selection of menu items for our dog as well, and they finished everything in no time. All of the staff were very dog-friendly, and it really showed how much they care about dogs. It became a wonderful memory where we could truly relax together with our dog. Thank you very much.

In-room dining and a private open-air bath in the Room made it a completely private space. The meals were also delicious. It was an Accommodation where families with small children could relax and enjoy themselves without worrying about others. Since it was difficult to apply makeup, I think it would be helpful to have a handheld mirror.

It was a very comfortable Accommodation with a high level of satisfaction. In particular, the hostess and staff provided service with just the right sense of distance, which made our stay truly pleasant. My father, who turns 95 this year, was also in great spirits. We will definitely visit again.

We were blessed with great weather this time, and the view from the in-room semi-open-air bath was wonderful. The Onsen may feel a little lukewarm, but it keeps you warm for a long time. We heard the meals had just been updated with new offerings, and everything was delicious. With all amenities provided, this Accommodation is truly appreciated for allowing us to visit lightly and casually. We would love to return again in different seasons. I’d been looking forward to our stay and couldn’t wait after checking the website and YouTube beforehand. On the day, the owner couple welcomed us with warm smiles. In a cute, spotless Room, we enjoyed delicious homemade cookies, and I had a great time chatting with my son. Dinner and breakfast were just as described in the Review—fresh, tasty, and very satisfying. Our time with the cats was short, but we were truly happy. We were delighted to meet the kind owner and his wonderful wife with her lovely smile, as well as Candy, Myu, Yuki, and Haku. Sorry to our cat at home, but we’ll be back again. Thank you in advance.

I stayed here with a friend this March and was so impressed that I returned in July with my family (as a couple). The dining menu had changed to a summer menu, so we were able to enjoy it again with a fresh perspective. With only eight parties staying at a time, this is a hidden-gem Accommodation: the Rooms are spacious, yet limited to two adults per Room. It’s perfect for anyone who wants to relax and unwind in peace. On the other hand, you won’t find sweeping views of Sagami Bay like those from the balcony of a high-rise Hotel (you can see the sea and Oshima Island, but they feel distant), nor is there an expansive garden. There is also no Shuttle Service from the station, so I recommend it for guests who don’t mind that. It’s well suited for making memories as a couple or with your best friend, and for celebrating anniversaries or special occasions. The in-Room open-air bath is spacious, and after bathing you can relax on chairs on the balcony. The food is delicious and very generous in portion size—and the timing of each course being served is excellent. The bedding was comfortable and I slept soundly. Considering this level of quality and service, the Plan pricing is reasonable. I would definitely like to return again.

The “Small-portion Gourmet Kaiseki” was just the right amount for seniors, and over our two-night stay the dinner was excellent in terms of ingredients, preparation, and seasoning. The breakfast also offered a variety of small dishes, and we were very satisfied from the morning with both dried fish and sashimi. The Onsen, Facility, and Room were clean and well maintained, and the staff were extremely attentive throughout our two-night stay. True to its name, it provided a five-star experience and made our trip to Izu a wonderful one.

A relaxing, tranquil Accommodation for adults. Watch the ever-changing sky, sea, and forest, and the sparkling stars; soak in the Onsen whenever you like; and enjoy high-quality meals... Above all, the staff’s hospitality is outstanding. During my stay, they never once asked for my name or Room number, and they even adjusted the end time of dinner to fit my spa Reservation. Thanks to their seamless communication and thoughtful care, I felt completely at ease throughout my stay. I will be back again. Thank you very much.

This visit back to the Accommodation was a firm promise we made with M-chan and N-chan’s family, whom we met here two years ago in August. That day, we played together at the dog run, shared dinner, and spent bar time talking about many things—it was a once-in-a-lifetime encounter during our stay. I still remember how incredibly fun it was. At the time, our M was still an only dog, but meeting M-chan and N-chan—who became friends with us—created an irreplaceable and wonderful bond. We were also truly happy to become friends with their dad and mom as well. At checkout, we made a strong promise: “Let’s all meet again here at this Accommodation someday, healthy and well!” But soon after that, we were shocked to receive the sudden news of M-chan’s passing. Her mom told us that she crossed the Rainbow Bridge in March. We were heartbroken that we could no longer reunite with everyone in good health as we had promised. Still, because this Accommodation was a place M-chan loved so very much, we wanted to honor her here—and so all of us were able to meet again. Together—with their dad and mom; M-chan and N-chan; our MM sisters; and us—we came back to the Accommodation saying “We’re home!” The staff welcomed us warmly with gentle smiles saying “Welcome back,” and M-chan and N-chan—and our MM sisters—were absolutely delighted. For dinner, they seated us next to each other, and it became a joyful dinner time as we talked together while remembering M-chan. At bar time as well, we shared many memories with their dad and mom and talked about what lies ahead; it was a warm, gentle time that passed slowly. We also had breakfast together afterward, then played at the dog run right up until the last minute—sharing truly priceless moments. We believe none of this would have been possible without the kindness and support of all the staff. We are filled with gratitude for watching over our stay until the very end with such warmth. This Accommodation truly brings people together! And it is a one-of-a-kind place—wonderful, beautiful, something you can be proud of—that helps fulfill promises made between beloved dogs! Stayed with my Yorkshire Terrier and mother. The interior has a European feel down to the details, creating a wonderful atmosphere. The room is spacious enough, and there was no unpleasant smell. The onsen in the room allows for easy access to a relaxing bath, which was very enjoyable. We only had breakfast during our stay, but the meal on the second day was very delicious. For dinner, please note that you need to choose such a plan or make a reservation in advance; ordering after arriving at the hotel seems difficult. Dinner costs 10,000 yen per person, which felt a bit expensive. However, there are no nearby places within walking distance for dining out easily, so please keep this in mind.

We chose this Accommodation after seeing photos and Reviews saying the food is incredibly delicious. We travel twice a week, and among the many Accommodations we’ve stayed at, the meals here were truly top-class. It really felt like we came to stay at an Accommodation run by a chef. We’re a bit shy, but they spoke with us in a way that wasn’t too close or too distant, so we had a wonderful time. This time it was just the two of us, but next time we’d like to bring our parents as well.

Our First Visit to Ubud no Mori All of the staff were incredibly kind and spoke to our dog so warmly. Thanks to them, we felt welcomed and comfortable from start to finish. The food was absolutely delicious—we were more than satisfied!! We even got to enjoy the late-night soba, which made the evening even happier. Being able to relax and have such a wonderful time with our dog became a truly special memory for us. We would love to visit again! Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!

We stayed with our 3-year-old and our 2-month-old baby. We chose this Accommodation because the Room has a private open-air bath, and in-room dining—now quite rare—meant we could relax even with small children. About two days before our stay, we received a confirmation call and were grateful for the details about the Shuttle Service pickup location. When we told them our children’s ages, they kindly said, “We’ll make sure your Room is thoroughly cleaned.” The Facility felt a bit dated, but the Room was very clean. Everyone at the Ryokan wore hakama, which looked wonderful. Since we arrived with children, they guided us to our Room first, and being able to complete check-in in the Room was also a big plus. We were welcomed with matcha tea and warabi mochi, which helped us unwind after traveling. With only eight guest Rooms, it was very quiet throughout our stay—comfortable like having a private villa. They had already laid out futons so our child could lie down anytime, and they spoke warmly to our older child by name—thoughtful service that really stood out. Every in-room dining dish was delicious, especially the fish dishes. The private open-air bath attached to the guest Room had a lovely hinoki aroma. It rained on arrival day, but the next morning we enjoyed a bath while looking out at the sea. There is also a reservable open-air bath on the rooftop; after putting the kids to sleep, my spouse and I took turns using it. We even enjoyed stargazing at night—such a special memory. Thanks to all of their thoughtful care, this became an unforgettable family trip. We would love to stay again when we visit Izu. Thank you very much!

This was our first stay. On the way into the Hotel, the sound of wind chimes felt wonderfully cool and soothing. The moment we stepped inside, a water terrace spread out before us, and my daughter and I couldn’t help exclaiming, “So beautiful!” We stayed in a Premium Room. It was very clean, and my daughter was thrilled with the ReFa hair dryer and shower (laugh). The in-room Onsen is fed directly from the source, so it felt amazing—I ended up soaking twice, morning and night. As it was to celebrate my birthday, you prepared a lovely towel-cake display and even gave me chocolates, which made this trip truly memorable. We booked a Plan with breakfast and dinner included; the dinner course was beautifully plated item by item, making it a feast for the eyes as well. We were also very satisfied that drinks were available freely. The champagne we had upon arrival in particular was incredibly delicious! This has become one of the Hotels we would definitely like to stay at again if we have the chance. Thank you for taking care of us for one night.

The stairs were a bit challenging, but the bath was one floor up and became a private family bath after dinner, so the three of us, including my daughter, had a wonderful time. Every dish was delicious, including the proprietress’s homemade desserts and pickled plums—this is an Accommodation we’d love to stay at again. Thank you very much!

We stayed as two adults and one baby to celebrate my husband’s birthday. It had been about a year since I gave birth, so it was our first trip in a long time—and our baby’s very first trip. We weren’t focused on sightseeing; we wanted to enjoy the Accommodation itself. We looked for a Room with a private open-air bath, in-room breakfast and dinner, and a baby-friendly place, compared Reviews, and chose Bettei KURO. We traveled by train and used the Shuttle Service from Futo Station. The Room was spacious, beautiful, and filled with the warmth of wood. We were happy to find cute baby toys and bedding thoughtfully set up in the Room. Having wipes and a bottle-washing set also helped us pack lighter. Even if our baby cried, we didn’t have to worry about other guests, so our whole family could truly relax. The Onsen wasn’t too hot, so we could bathe together with our baby. (They manage the temperature carefully, and we were told it can be adjusted upon request at the front desk.) Both dinner and breakfast were luxurious and delicious. We hadn’t mentioned in advance that we wanted non-alcoholic drinks for both of us; my husband’s aperitif came with alcohol and I wasn’t sure what to do, but when we told them on the spot they changed it immediately. We didn’t order an extra cake because we thought we’d be too full, but there was a “Happy Birthday” message on the dessert plate—apparently based on the purpose noted at Reservation (birthday). We felt this kind of thoughtful hospitality in many other ways as well, which made us feel it is truly wonderful Accommodation. Seeing the ocean view and beautiful stars was also a great memory. We’re really glad we chose this place for our long-awaited trip.

The staff’s hospitality was truly outstanding. One delightful surprise after another made both our hearts and stomachs more than satisfied. There were plenty of activities for both adults and children, and we fully enjoyed the breathtaking views of the sea and islands. One night wasn’t nearly enough to experience it all. We would love to return.
