We stay here every year during the Obon holiday season. The Room is compact but clean and comes with air conditioning. The toilet is also modern and spotless. There’s an outlet by the pillow, which is very convenient. The café staff on the first floor also handle check-in/check-out and guide you to the parking area. For dinner and breakfast, we used the buffet Plan at Dai-ichi Takimotokan right across the street and were very satisfied. You can also use Dai-ichi Takimotokan’s Onsen freely. It’s very helpful that we can stay at an affordable price.

I have visited Noboribetsu several times, but this Hotel surprised me with its spacious Room! It was very relaxing. The Onsen was great, and I felt refreshed. It would be nice if there were wider yukatas available for fuller-figured guests.

We had planned a summer vacation trip to Okinawa, but due to a typhoon we changed plans at the last minute and stayed here instead. With the Plan that included resort vouchers, we were able to fully enjoy the pool, amusement park, and gondola—our child was thrilled! Daniel Street brought back great memories. The bus ride from Sapporo also felt like part of the trip and was fun. The amusement park had a charming old-fashioned feel in the best way, and we really enjoyed it. “Be happy” is wonderful! There was a wide variety at breakfast and it was enjoyable—I even wished we had booked dinner as well. The baths were very clean, and the amenities were great. If I had to mention any drawbacks, it would be that the Facility is so large that getting around can be a bit tiring (which also shows just how spacious it is!). Also, if the morning bath hours were extended until 9:30, it would be nice to relax after breakfast. Our child loved it so much—“the best in the world!” Thank you for such wonderful memories. We’d be happy if you could keep offering such great value for money! We’d love to visit again someday!

Dinner was delicious no matter what we tried, with refined flavors and generous portions.

There are nearby restaurants and a large Don Quijote, making it very convenient. A map photo of the parking lot was also posted in front of the Hotel.

I stayed here for the first time in 30 years. The building is old, but it was well cleaned and felt very clean overall. I spoke with a staff member who said they have been working here for about 15 years—keep up the good work. The friendly greetings at the buffet venue were also very welcoming. Last time it was just my spouse and me, but this time we came with our two children. We watched the fireworks from the lakeshore, and the kids were truly impressed. I’d like to stay again if I have the chance.

We chose Horohoro Sanso in Kitayuzawa for our family of four for the first time in about 20 years! Before making a Reservation, I read Reviews on various sites, and as someone who loves food, I was especially drawn to posts about the meals. The building does show its age, but you can see many renovations throughout, and the Onsen in particular felt impressive and luxurious. Most importantly, the food was full of creative ideas—and the seasoning was far better than at some famous Hotels! From the DIY hot pot and mixed rice to salt-grilled char and individual buffet dishes… every item reflected great ideas and a chef’s confident touch, and we were truly satisfied. Even the small spices and original condiments served with each dish were delicious. As for the baths, one of the advantages of a smaller Hotel is that it never felt crowded no matter when we went in; we could relax without worrying about others in the ceramic-style bath, jacuzzi, and open-air bath. Our Room was spacious, with air conditioning and Wi-Fi provided, so it was very comfortable. Above all, all staff members were kind and helpful, including international staff who treated us with great care. There are many famous Onsen Hotels around Hokkaido where baths can be packed like sardines or meals look fancy but rely heavily on mass-produced ingredients; here at Horohoro Sanso, even if some items are frozen foods, they clearly add an extra touch to make everything taste great—something that speaks to the chefs’ skill and effort (my wife also praised it highly—she works with food every day). There’s so much more I could write, but what our whole family said together on the drive home was: “Let’s come back again!”

I was supposed to bring the Room towels to the Onsen, but a staff member who happened to be checking the water kindly brought me towels, so I could relax in the hot water and feel refreshed. The dinner was also delicious.

I have used this facility multiple times, and this was my first visit since the children's play area was renovated. The play area has been greatly improved, and my child was very satisfied. We were able to enjoy a wonderful time, including the meals. However, there were two disappointing points: 1. There was a stain on the room's sofa that looked like a bedwetting mark, but no explanation about it was provided. 2. To access the room via elevator, you need to use a card key; however, only two keys are provided per room. The Room is spacious enough for up to five adults, but having only two card keys is quite inconvenient. I hope this can be improved in the future.

I’ve stayed here many times, and I’m always very satisfied. The food is delicious, and the service is excellent. However, this time there was one thing: the open-air bath was too hot, so I couldn’t relax and enjoy it. I’ll be back again.

It’s hard to find places where you can freely bring your pet, so this is highly recommended!! This is a very pet-friendly Hotel. The dog run is well maintained and very clean.

The building itself isn’t new, but the room rate was affordable and the stay was comfortable. The hot spring, in particular, was excellent. Since there are few hotels in Lake Toya where smoking is allowed, this was very helpful. If possible, I would have liked a hair dryer in the room. It would also be perfect if there were a washer-dryer as well.

Although we had heard it was old, it was very clean and well maintained. The staff were also very friendly. It is a bit far from the hot spring town, but there was a free shuttle bus, so it wasn’t inconvenient. The food was delicious, and the kids loved the melon soft-serve ice cream. We wished we could have stayed for multiple nights.

They kindly told us the best spots to watch the fireworks, nearby convenience stores, and the Facility amenities.

Just as the title says! It was great to be able to watch the Lake Toya fireworks right in front of us! Our kids also enjoyed the bingo game! This Hotel was the best part of our trip to Hokkaido! We’d definitely love to stay again!

Eating out frequently can affect my health, so I prefer to cook with local ingredients. Recently, I’ve been using Vacation Rentals for my stays. This time, I found a wonderful condominium. 〇 The view from the large windows was stunning. Overlooking the vast nature of Rusutsu gave me a sense of freedom. Enjoying Sapporo beer while admiring the scenery was fantastic. 〇 The kitchen was well-equipped with almost everything needed, including dishcloths and plastic wrap, which were very helpful. The dishwasher was also incredibly convenient. 〇 For groceries, I used a nearby roadside station, convenience store, and a supermarket in Kutchan. If necessary, the nearby convenience store makes things quite manageable. Additionally, since the first floor connects to the adjacent Rusutsu Resort Hotel, dining there is also an option. 〇 A spacious closet near the entrance had both a washing machine and dryer, making laundry very easy to handle. 〇 The bathroom only had shower facilities; however, I used the hotel's Onsen once instead. Unfortunately, it was crowded at that time but still relaxing thanks to its spacious open-air bath and thoughtful design. This condominium is new and clean with wide hallways and ample space between rooms for extra comfort—it felt very relaxing overall! It’s truly an underrated spot during summer seasons. I'd love to stay here again in the future! Thank you so much for everything!

We stayed here to celebrate her birthday. Unfortunately, it was cloudy on the day of our stay. Even so, the location was beautiful, and we were very satisfied. The amenities were plentiful, and they kindly accommodated our requests. Thank you very much. It’s an Accommodation we definitely want to visit again. Perfect for spending a special day.

I had been interested in COCO VILLA for some time, so I stayed there midway through my trip to Hokkaido. I have almost no experience with Vacation Rentals, so I was a bit worried about staying at an Accommodation without staff nearby, but it turned out to be excellent. What I loved most was that it felt like the best of both camping and an Accommodation. You can enjoy a campfire and BBQ, while still being able to take a relaxing bath and sleep in a proper bed—things you can’t easily do when camping. This Facility is also well shielded from view on all sides, offering a strong sense of privacy. The sauna felt very spacious for two people, and we could clearly see the starry sky as well. I was impressed to find small packets of salt, pepper, soy sauce, etc., in the refrigerator—and they even provided laundry detergent (gel pods). You can really feel the thoughtful hospitality in every detail. If I had to mention one thing, it’s important to read the instructions from the Accommodation carefully. At first I couldn’t figure out how to turn on the sauna right away, and I forgot about the storage shed while looking for the BBQ set. Also, since you go in and out between outdoors (for the campfire/BBQ) and your Room through the entrance each time, having the digital key lock automatically every time was slightly inconvenient (but leaving it open lets bugs in). That said, once you understand how everything works, it’s not an issue. The second-floor living room has large windows with light coming in from three sides, and the interior was very cute and relaxing. Thank you very much.

We stayed for one night from August 8 with my children and grandchildren. The Facility and equipment were new and comfortable, and we enjoyed our stay. It also coincided with a fireworks event, which made the timing perfect. Although it was the start of the busy season and the staff seemed very busy, they responded to our inquiries promptly. As seniors, we found the digitized manual a bit difficult to use, but we managed. It was also a nice memory to have a brief exchange with a family from Germany staying in the neighboring building.

The meals were delicious and satisfying. Waking up and heading straight to the golf course provided an extraordinary experience—absolutely fantastic. The special edition cart was also great. I wish I could have used the special edition cart more during my stay.
