From check-in to strolling around the grounds, relaxing with coffee on the terrace, an in-room bath, delicious Italian cuisine, a drink by the fireplace, and an outstandingly tasty hokke breakfast—everything was wonderful! I wasn’t familiar with Accommodations in this area, so I carefully considered my options on IKYU and choosing this place was absolutely the right decision! I’d love to stay again.

Dinner paired with local Hokkaido wines was delicious. The wine selection was impressive—I was amazed at how perfectly a professional pairing matched the dishes. I’ve been to many restaurants around the world, and the wine pairing here is truly outstanding. The rich wine at the end was also excellent. Next time, I’d like to return in winter when temperatures are lower. Another favorite Hotel added to my list!

We stayed as a family of three in an 11th-floor Room with a private open-air bath. It was an Ichiryū Manbaibi and an auspicious direction, and we also felt a special connection because Shika-no-Yu was the destination of my late parents’ honeymoon, so we chose it without hesitation. The Room was spacious and spotless, and we slept soundly in the beds. We also thoroughly enjoyed the private lounge, including the matcha experience, a variety of nostalgic sweets, and plenty of coffee. The Japanese meals were delicious and easy to digest, and the fruit and sweets for dessert were beautifully presented and memorable. In the evening we had fun with table tennis and Othello, and the panoramic open-air bath on the 12th floor was uncrowded and very relaxing. We were able to fully recharge over two days. We plan to visit again in autumn. It was an excellent-value Hotel stay with attentive service and real character. Thank you very much.

Last year, I stayed here with my parents, who use wheelchairs, and we were truly well taken care of. I wanted to bring them to an Onsen they love while they were recuperating, and we chose this place because the Room had a bath and it was barrier-free. The Room was very relaxing, and the food was exceptional—they kept saying “So good, so good!” as they ate with delight. Late at night, my father and I also enjoyed the complimentary ramen and ice cream together. We had a wonderful time. After that, my father passed away, so this year we stayed again in his memory. At dinner, you kindly prepared a set meal for him as well—rice, miso soup, and more—and I was so moved by this unexpected gesture that tears overflowed. We displayed his photo, shared memories of him, and enjoyed the meal. The Facility is wonderful, but above all else, thank you for your heartfelt hospitality. I would love to stay again!

We stayed for one night with four adults and a 7-month-old baby. We really appreciated the thoughtful touches, such as the baby crib and various children’s amenities. The large public bath was spacious and relaxing, and the view from the open-air bath was soothing; in particular, the half-body soaking area was so comfortable we could have stayed in it forever. The meals were also satisfying, with a nice mix of Japanese, Western, and Chinese dishes. We would love to stay again.

My spouse and I stayed here in mid-May 2026. It’s a soothing Accommodation where you can truly relax without any fuss. All the staff were gentle and friendly. The resident “signboard” rabbit was adorable, and it also seems like a pet-friendly Accommodation. This time we chose a Plan with breakfast only, but the breakfast was so delicious that next time we’d like to stay on a Plan that includes dinner as well. One disappointing point this time was part of the baths. When I dipped my feet into the tub on the second floor—the one that looked whitish, like a carbonated bath—it was so hot that it startled me. In the open-air bath as well, the added hot water seemed to be set too high; when a lot of water came out periodically (?), it was too hot to enter unless we stirred it first. I wish I had asked whether the temperature adjustment for the added water just didn’t go well that day, or if the spring temperature changes daily. Still, overall there was hardly any odor, my skin felt smooth, and it was very pleasant water.

We visited to celebrate my wife’s anniversary. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious, and although the Hotel is run by a small team, their warm hospitality made our stay truly comfortable. We would love to return again for her birthday in two months. On our first visit to Jozankei in a while, we used the admission tickets we received to visit a shrine and enjoy the lantern displays, taking a relaxing stroll around town. While we noticed some closed Hotels, there were also more new Facilities, making this a visit that left us excited about what’s next for the area.

We stayed as two couples (my parents and us), making a Reservation for two Rooms for four people, and they kindly arranged adjoining Rooms for us. The lounge service was available for a long time, so after the bath we relaxed for over an hour enjoying beer, honey, and more. The calm atmosphere makes it enjoyable even if you’re traveling alone. The large public bath was not crowded, so we could take our time in the open-air bath as well. Since the baths switch between men and women the next day, we were able to enjoy both comfortably. Meals were served in a semi-private setting, and all staff were very courteous. When we were looking for something we had misplaced, they helped us kindly; we found it later, but their thoughtful support really stood out. We were completely satisfied with everything, and my parents said they would like to go again—so I’m glad I brought them. I’d love to visit again in a different season.

This was my first time staying here. I’d been curious for a while, and it was just as I expected—I really liked it. The building may not be brand-new, but perhaps it has been renovated; I had no inconveniences at all. The meals and the bath were both very relaxing. If my schedule allows, I’d like to visit again later this year for about two nights, and I look forward to staying with you again then.

We stayed to celebrate a special occasion, and thanks to the staff’s courteous service and warm hospitality, we had a very comfortable stay. The meals were delicious, and the Onsen was wonderful. I usually stay with my family, but this time I tried a solo trip for the first time. I chose this Hotel because the women-only dormitory felt safe, and the value was amazing: unlimited alcohol and soft drinks, a triple gelato, a delicious pasta dinner, plus access to the lounge and baths at the neighboring Suizantei… it was perfect (the sauna at Exclamation Hotel was great too). The next day, I switched breakfast to lunch and enjoyed it at Shokudo Ichi, then finished with an Onsen soak in Koganeyu! What’s more, staying here comes with a Reservation slot for “Morino Hyakunichi Gori,” so I could enjoy it without waiting. This was also my first time hitting the jackpot in the lucky locker lottery—I even received a commemorative Kyujitsuyu mug cup and was truly moved. The Hotel staff were all very kind, so I felt comfortable throughout my stay. A solo trip at Exclamation Hotel might become addictive—I’ll be back!

I have stayed here about three times so far, and each time I was in a different Room with its own unique atmosphere—every Room is wonderful. When it comes to Chusuizan, the cuisine is the highlight. Each visit, I was thoroughly satisfied with the creative dishes made with seasonal ingredients. The lounge also offers an excellent variety of items.

This was my first stay, and it was excellent. The Hotel staff were very welcoming, and I had a truly enjoyable time. The buffet meals offered a wide variety of options and were delicious. I was especially happy to find rice balls and red bean rice at breakfast. Since I can’t drink cold milk, I was delighted that hot milk was available. The bread was also very good.

This was our Accommodation on the last day of our trip to Hokkaido. There was also a bus from Sapporo, so access was convenient. We made a Reservation for an Executive Suite. From check-in we used a dedicated counter, and there was also an exclusive lounge, which made the stay feel special. The bathroom was spacious and relaxing, and we were very satisfied. However, dinner was a buffet in a large hall, but it was so crowded that we couldn’t take our time, which was disappointing.

I stayed at Suizantei Club on a Plan with a private open-air bath in the guest room. The staff’s attentive service, the excellent in-room Onsen environment, and the refined cuisine served in a private dining room were all high quality, making it a truly wonderful stay. However, the only disappointment was an error at checkout at the main building shop. Although I purchased an Imabari bath towel that was labeled as 3,740 yen on the shelf, my bill charged 5,720 yen for a different item. After I contacted them by email after departure, I received a prompt reply by dusk the next day with a sincere apology acknowledging the mistake and confirming they would adjust (reduce) the charge on my credit card. While it was a basic error, I felt reassured by their sincere and swift response afterward. It was disappointing to end such a great stay with that mistake, but I appreciate how quickly they handled it.

We stayed with four friends. The building is old, but the Japanese-style room was spacious. The restroom was a bit hard to find, but we were able to use it without any issues. The dining area was also large, and thanks to staggered meal times it was rarely crowded. There was a wide variety of dishes, so we could enjoy our meal at a relaxed pace. Both baths require taking stairs from the entrance, so I felt it might be difficult for guests with mobility issues. One of the baths had water that was too lukewarm, so we couldn’t stay in for long. The parking lot is far away, but they provided Shuttle Service by car, which was helpful. Thank you for your hospitality.

Well, speaking as a couple, this is gradually becoming our ideal Hotel (laughs). The Room is a comfortable size and never feels cramped. The staff—and the chef and kitchen team—work in perfect sync, and we appreciated being able to enjoy our meals at an unhurried pace. And the in-room Onsen was wonderful. We usually prefer a fully Japanese breakfast, but everything here—from the salad to the main dish—was flawless. If we had to mention one thing, it might be limited to the Rooms on the second floor: when other guests open or close their doors, perhaps due to air pressure, we sometimes heard a rattling sound as our door seemed to shake, which startled us (and it can make you aware of people coming and going). Even so, we keep making another Reservation—this may become our one-and-only Hotel.

I stayed for 5 nights. It’s close to Nakajima-Koen Subway Station, with convenience stores and supermarkets nearby, and within walking distance to the Susukino intersection. There are plenty of places to eat, and Nakajima Park is spacious—perfect for a walk. The location was excellent.\n I stayed alone, but chose a twin Room for single use. It had a sofa, was spacious, and very relaxing. Noise from other rooms hardly bothered me.\n The Room had a mini kitchen with a rice cooker and refrigerator. Since I contacted them in advance, they prepared a frying pan and tableware for me. There was also a small cutting board, knife, dish soap, etc.\n There was also a washing machine, which was very helpful for my Multiple Night Stay. However, as others have mentioned, since it’s a washer-dryer combo it doesn’t dry quickly, which was a bit stressful. I did my laundry there and took items that wouldn’t dry to a nearby coin laundry to use the dryer.\n It was also nice that I could open the window.\n The bathroom is small, but the washing area is separate from the tub so I could soak and relax.\n Every day when I returned to the Hotel, it became part of my routine to bring coffee or tea up to my Room.\n I often do Multiple Night Stay trips, but this was my first time using a system where you bring down used towels and trash yourself and take what you need back up—it worked really well.\n I’m very satisfied—I could stay in Sapporo as if I were living there while still enjoying sightseeing.

This was my second stay. Last time I traveled solo and used a twin room as single occupancy, but this time I stayed with my partner (my wife) for 3 nights and 4 days. I booked a twin Western-style room for the first two nights, and a Japanese-Western style room for the third night because the twin was unavailable. However, thanks to the Hotel’s kindness, we were upgraded to a very spacious Japanese-Western style room for all three nights. Thank you very much. The main purpose of this trip was the Sapporo Snow Festival for the first time in six years. With hotel prices in central Sapporo rising sharply recently, we chose this Hotel again because we had a great experience before. When comparing rates, this Hotel with breakfast and dinner can sometimes be cheaper than central-area hotels with breakfast only (depending on when you make your Reservation). This time we rented a car from the airport, but if you are not used to driving on snowy roads, taking the bus is honestly recommended. Also, at this Hotel, if the schedule works out, using the free Shuttle Service bus is an excellent value. We used the Shuttle Service one-way from the Hotel to Sapporo Station on our second day (they were running five large buses). After enjoying the Snow Festival, we returned to the Hotel by taking Jotetsu Bus “Kappa Liner,” using its last service (departing 17:00 from in front of the station). On day three, we relaxed by visiting nearby Hoheikyo Onsen for a day trip bath and their famous curry, and took an easy stroll around town in the snowy hot-spring area. As for the Hotel itself, you can enjoy various baths at both an underground Onsen area and an observation bath & open-air bath on the top floor. That said—perhaps because there isn’t enough source water volume for baths of that size—the “Onsen feel” is slightly mild. Meals were buffet-style for both breakfast and dinner. Given that it was peak season at such a huge Resort Hotel, it gets extremely crowded in a massive dining venue, so it’s better to avoid peak times. The buffet selection may not match top-tier luxury resort standards, but it was satisfying—for example, breakfast included seafood bowls where you can add as much salmon roe as you like. If you’re visiting Sapporo for sightseeing, staying in central Sapporo is convenient; however, this Hotel offers great value with breakfast and dinner included plus Onsen access—and even free Shuttle Service buses from near Sapporo Station—so I may well return for a third stay. One extra note: the new wing has three glass elevators, and two regular elevators on the inner side of the building opposite them. The glass elevators have great views, but in midwinter (around -10°C), they are very cold inside, so we ended up using the inner ones most of the time.

This was my first stay, and it was a comfortable Accommodation with courteous service. The Room was just the right size, and I could enjoy an evening stroll to nearby shrine events. The bath was not crowded, so I was able to relax. I was satisfied with both the quantity and taste of the meals, and it feels like a hidden gem I’d like to visit in every season. Next time, I’d like to stay in the new wing.
