The rooms are spacious, with two double bedrooms. Having two bathrooms is a big plus—no need to compete for the sink in the morning. You can enjoy an ocean view right from the balcony, and there is a simple kitchenette available. The breakfast restaurant also overlooks the sea, and the breakfast is delicious. After breakfast, you can take the nearby path straight to the beach. There aren’t many outside visitors, so if you’re traveling with children, they can play by the sea for a long time. Highly recommended Accommodation for family trips.

Right in front of the ocean, with a pool—and even a large public bath—it was truly amazing. And they even have ice. The parking lot is close, too. We didn’t use the meals because we wanted to eat at local Okinawan restaurants, but it was more than enough even without dining. If I had to say one thing, it would be helpful if the refrigerator were just a little bigger—but at this price, I can’t complain. I’ve stayed here several times already, and I look forward to staying again. I don’t like crowds, so it’s very relaxing; I sincerely hope you can keep things just as they are.

We stayed for one night with breakfast included, accommodating four people. The room was an ocean-view room. Stepping out onto the spacious balcony, we were greeted by a stunning ocean view. The scenery was beautiful. Inside the room, there were two beds and two futons laid out on a tatami space. The room was spacious enough for four people to stay comfortably. Both the room lights and bathroom lights had dimming functions, which are rare in accommodations, allowing us to adjust brightness as needed—this made it feel like home. It’s a great hotel for an extended stay. Breakfast offered both Japanese and Western options; while not extensive in variety, there were plenty of well-balanced dishes to choose from, all of which were delicious. Although there didn’t seem to be any izakaya-style restaurants nearby, it was nice that some izakayas offered shuttle service to and from the hotel. The price of the hotel is also reasonable. I would love to stay here again if I have another opportunity!

We stayed on a Plan with breakfast and dinner included. The private beach in front of the Hotel was wonderful, and we could take a quiet early-morning walk while looking out at the sea. We also enjoyed snorkeling, and the kids had a great time—perfect for a summer vacation. The meals were buffet-style and delicious, and the BBQ dinner on the second night was especially memorable because we could eat while enjoying the ocean view. We looked forward to the breakfast buffet every day, and even during our Multiple Night Stay we never got tired of it. A Resort Hotel with a private beach is rare, so we would love to stay again.

We stayed for 3 nights with our 1-year-old child and five adults including our parents and siblings. It was a top-floor (4th floor) Room, and the view was even more amazing than in the photos—our whole family was truly impressed! With the beach nearby and stylish cafes around, we went to the beach every morning after breakfast and loved spending time walking along the shore. With two bedrooms and two washrooms, it was comfortable even for two families. The bathroom had only a shower, but since it was summer and the space (including the changing area) was very large and comfortable, it didn’t bother us at all. The parking area was spacious, everything we needed for daily life was provided, and we felt at ease even with a small child. We also really appreciated being able to borrow items such as a baby crib. There is also a 24-hour MaxValu supermarket and Nishimatsuya nearby, which made things very convenient. We would definitely love to stay here again when we visit Okinawa with our family!

Surrounded by nature, it was a very quiet and pleasant place. However, as there are no shops nearby, we recommend doing your shopping in advance.

The Facility was clean, and I was happy that the air conditioner was already on, so the Room felt cool when we arrived. With this kind of Hotel, I expected we’d have to turn on the air conditioner ourselves after checking in, so it was a pleasant surprise! However, the response when insects appeared... I don’t mind handling it ourselves, but I wish insect spray had been left in the Room.

From the moment we stepped inside, we were captivated by the otherworldly atmosphere and the ideal scenery. The staff’s hospitality was outstanding, and it became a special Accommodation that our whole family was truly satisfied with and wants to visit every year.

I stayed here with my elderly mother, and she was very satisfied because it was so comfortable. We were lucky with the weather, so relaxing in the Room while looking out at the blue ocean with a panoramic view was the best. There were no amenities like cleansing oil or face wash, but I felt that items such as toothbrushes were good quality and well provided. The bed in particular was very comfortable, and my back felt better when I woke up. We could also use separate bedrooms, which made it very relaxing. This time we stayed for two nights, but my mother and I are saying that next time we’d like to stay for about a week! Because my mother has trouble walking, it would have been 120 points if there had been a chair in the bathroom. As for the “cemetery view” mentioned in other Reviews, we were on the 4th floor so it didn’t bother me at all. Self check-in and check-out were easy and convenient. It has become one of the villas I’d like to visit again. Thank you.

In 2025, I visited Okinawa four times and stayed at different condo vacation rentals each time. However, my stay at Doka Doka was the best, so I decided to return here for my year-end visit. During this second stay, I noticed various thoughtful touches from the perspective of guests that I hadn't realized during my first visit. It made me feel that this place is the perfect choice for future stays. While many "Instagrammable Rooms" are introduced all over Okinawa, I've often felt they lack consideration for actual guest needs when staying there. This includes kitchen facilities, cooking utensils, bathrooms, or even how doors open and close—small details but noticeable nonetheless. It seems like those managing such facilities may not have actually stayed in their own rooms themselves. On the other hand, it feels like whoever designed this place considered everything from a personal user’s perspective because nothing is lacking here. (The bathroom doesn't have a reheating function for baths; hence my rating of 4 stars in that regard—but it's not something I'd ask to be changed as it’s perfectly fine as is.) It may not be highly "Instagrammable," but it offers more than enough comfort if your goal is to live like a local during your stay. The beautiful Yachimun pottery provided adds an extra touch of joy when preparing meals in the kitchen. The café breakfast experience was also wonderful—staff were very kind and accommodating with generous portions served. The scenery was stunning while the gentle music and atmosphere inside uplifted our morning mood beautifully. I’m already looking forward to visiting again next time! Thank you very much!

I chose to stay here because the exterior and interior photos were so striking, and I was also drawn to the fact that it is operated by a public interest incorporated association that supports children with intractable illnesses and their families. The welcome drink and sweets, as well as the complimentary drinks, all had a distinctly Okinawan touch and were truly enjoyable. The staff’s service was polite yet friendly and warm, which left a strong impression. The private bath is used on a time-slot rotation, but since there aren’t many guest groups staying at once, it didn’t feel inconvenient at all. The spacious bath allowed me to relax comfortably. It drizzled lightly at night, and watching raindrops fall onto the water feature in the center of the building and ripple outward felt wonderfully magical. The next morning was sunny, so we had breakfast in the lush garden while surrounded by pleasant morning light. I was able to enjoy Okinawan dishes and fruits that are not easy to come across in everyday life—it was deeply satisfying. In particular, the island banana smoothie served before breakfast was so delicious that I honestly wanted seconds (haha). It was only one night, but it was a truly lovely Accommodation where I could step away from daily life and spend quiet, peaceful time.

For this price, I was very satisfied with both the location and the Room. The beach is just a short walk from the Hotel. The views from the Room and the rooftop were wonderful. Rather than typical Hotel service, their hospitality was exceptional. I would definitely like to stay here again when I want to relax.

A typhoon was approaching, and unfortunately, it was pouring rain, but we were able to enjoy a tropical atmosphere in the cottage. Next time, I definitely want to come back and go snorkeling at the nearby beaches! Thank you for a comfortable stay.

The Room was spotless and very comfortable. I was especially impressed that even the toys provided were kept clean; my two-year-old son played with them nonstop. Thoughtful amenities for families with small children—such as a baby gate, high chair, and a step stool in the bathroom—made our stay feel safe and stress-free. We’d love to stay again.

I stayed during Golden Week and had a wonderful experience, including the cleanliness of the Room and the attentive service from the staff. It was also great to enjoy Okinawa’s pleasant breeze from the balcony.

We had a wonderful auberge experience exactly as we’d imagined, and we were very satisfied. Thoughts on the triple Room (not mentioned in other Review): - The tabletop mirror prepared on the desk—also useful as an accessory tray—was extremely convenient for the three of us traveling together to get ready. - The toilet floor was tiled with a drain, and it felt exceptionally clean. - The loungewear wasn’t overly softened with fabric softener and felt smooth and comfortable. I think even those who dislike fragrances could wear it. - We stayed in February, and the sheets were pleasantly soft and slightly moist to the touch. Perhaps thanks to the mattress pad, nothing shifted at all, so we didn’t need to readjust the bedding until morning. Among Resort Hotels on Okinawa’s main island, Business Hotels, and long-established sightseeing hotels back home (in another prefecture) that we’ve used in recent years, this was our favorite. Ryukyu Ganebu wine and the cuisine, a charming Room, and warm hospitality—it was a truly lovely experience that felt like being shown one by one the treasures gained through all the challenges and adventures the owner couple have accomplished so far. I’m glad we chose “Tears” as our first wine toast with our daughters who have only recently become adults. It has become a precious wine tied to special memories, and we’re really looking forward to returning someday to toast here again. If you’re not good with bugs, I think a Hotel might be better, but I highly recommend this place for group trips! You can also have a BBQ, and it’s spacious and feels very open! There’s also a dryer, so we could wear our clothes again the next day and pack lighter! Personally, I thought it was great!

Safe for solo female travelers! The host is very kind! I came to Okinawa alone and made many friends at this accommodation, making every day a happy one!! In the evenings, we would sit together and share our experiences. This accommodation gave me a truly enjoyable travel experience, and I would return to Okinawa just for this place. Honestly, this was my most unforgettable experience in Okinawa.

Close to the sea and local shops, it was a joy to stroll through the quiet village and truly relaxing. Dinner—appetizers, Agu pork shabu-shabu, and zenzai for dessert—was all delicious. Breakfast was wonderful as well. The warm smiles of the owner and his mother (?) made it even more special, turning this into an unforgettable trip. I fell in love with Ikei Island. I’d love to visit again someday.
