Safe for solo female travelers! The host is very kind! I came to Okinawa alone and made many friends at this accommodation, making every day a happy one!! In the evenings, we would sit together and share our experiences. This accommodation gave me a truly enjoyable travel experience, and I would return to Okinawa just for this place. Honestly, this was my most unforgettable experience in Okinawa.

We stayed as a family. It was about a 5-minute walk to the American Village. The property had 3 Rooms, allowing everyone to have their own relaxing time. There was also a convenience store right behind the property. In addition to the bathtub, there was a separate shower room. There were also two toilets. Even with 5 people staying, we had no issues at all.

I had some business nearby and only returned to sleep without meals, but I stayed for two nights. The bedroom had a calming wooden feel, and it was nice to feel like returning to an apartment. The surroundings were quiet and not bothersome, allowing for a good night's sleep. The Room and bathroom were clean, providing peace of mind during use. The amenities were simple, but coffee was available, and everything necessary was well-provided. It was my first time in Okinawa, but thanks to this Hotel, I had a great time. Thank you!

My family and I stayed here for a Multiple Night Stay starting on 7/2. I initially rated it 4 stars because there is only a shower, but since you end up sweating a lot, I actually found that having just a shower was easier and more convenient. More than anything, the warmth and responsiveness of everyone at the Accommodation made it a total 5-star stay for us. First of all, the luxury of feeling as if you have the view of Bise Cape all to yourself from your Room. The happiness of taking an early-morning walk before sunrise and playing with cats. The Fukugi tree-lined road that somehow feels familiar even though it’s not my hometown. Breakfast enjoyed while listening to the waves and breathing in the natural air. Spending the day snorkeling in the sparkling, beautiful sea. Being surprised at night by how big the coconut crabs are. A sky full of stars. I was truly moved by what an amazing time it was. Another great point is that you can borrow snorkeling gear and receive instruction, making it easy to enjoy the ocean without bringing much luggage. There were so many fish—it was endlessly fun, and I never got tired of diving in. Everyone at the Accommodation was very polite and kind. I asked lots of questions and caused some trouble along the way, but they responded cheerfully every time. Even though we’ve just returned from Okinawa, we’re already itching to go back again. We would love to visit again—thank you very much.

This time, six adults stayed at the accommodation. After booking, I learned that due to the plan, we couldn't expect a sea view from the room, and I had resigned myself to that fact. However, we could actually see the sea from the balcony! The layout of the room was very spacious, and it was clean, allowing us to have a comfortable stay. The website didn't mention laundry detergent, so I brought some just in case, but there was liquid detergent provided.

I was a bit anxious before staying, but the accommodation (pension) was well-equipped with amenities and thoroughly cleaned. The loft-style design delighted the children, and we were very satisfied. Given the location, it’s perfect for enjoying peace and nature, though there were many insects... which is understandable (haha). I would love to stay here again.

Close to the sea and local shops, it was a joy to stroll through the quiet village and truly relaxing. Dinner—appetizers, Agu pork shabu-shabu, and zenzai for dessert—was all delicious. Breakfast was wonderful as well. The warm smiles of the owner and his mother (?) made it even more special, turning this into an unforgettable trip. I fell in love with Ikei Island. I’d love to visit again someday.

I stayed in a room with a double bed. It was very spacious! The TV was large, and I enjoyed watching Netflix. The room had a washer with a dryer, which was very convenient. For Multiple Night Stays, it seems cleaning is not provided, so guests need to take care of trash disposal and bath towels themselves.

We stayed for 4 nights, but unfortunately it rained throughout our stay and we couldn’t really go out onto the terrace. Still, we had a very comfortable time. After checking out, we stayed at a slightly more expensive Hotel, but we liked Loconia Terrace better (lol). We’d love to come back to watch the sunset from that terrace. We also enjoyed the souvenir you gave us on the beach—it was delicious. Thank you very much for your hospitality!

Our three-generation family of six stayed for two nights. The property was still new and spotless, with an ocean view and plenty of space—great for the kids to spread out, and relaxing for the adults as well. We had a very comfortable stay. It wasn’t too far from the airport, and there were lovely cafes nearby as well as American Village, which made it very convenient.

Although I’ve visited Okinawa many times, this was my first stay here.\nWe chose the Pool Executive Suite (2 Bedrooms), and it was incredibly spacious and open—best of all, we could use the pool anytime!\nThe kids were thrilled, and the adults joined in too; we ended up swimming and playing over and over.\nHaving a washer-dryer in the Room was a huge help—we’d wash and dry our wet clothes right away, then head back to the pool again the next day.\nIt was a bit disappointing that we couldn’t see the ocean because of all the trees in front of the pool, but at night it was fun spotting bats flying around, cats wandering by, and looking for other unusual creatures.\nSince no one could see us, we were able to truly relax without thinking about anything.\n\nThe beach just a short walk away was full of nature, with gentle waves—it was truly beautiful.\nWe snorkeled as a family, and we really appreciated being able to borrow beach chairs and parasols.\nWe went to watch the sunset, and after being told we might be able to see fireworks, we went out for that too. We visited the beach several times—the sound of the waves and peaceful atmosphere felt cleansing. It became our best Okinawa trip ever.\n\nAs for meals: breakfast—the Japanese set meal was absolutely delicious. We chose Japanese breakfast all three mornings of our 3-night stay.\nFor dinner, we tried à la carte at the restaurant once; everything was excellent and we were very satisfied!\n\nIf I had to mention one small point:\nThe Room Facility is perfect overall, but despite having a kitchen and cooking tools, the refrigerator is extremely small—like one you’d find in a Business Hotel...\nWe couldn’t chill wine in it, so we asked to store it in the Hotel cellar. Considering how well-equipped the Room is otherwise, I wish there were a slightly larger refrigerator.\n\nThis is a pleasantly intimate Hotel overall, so I would recommend it to anyone who wants a quiet stay.\nAll staff members were attentive and wonderful.\nIt turned into our best Okinawa trip ever—we’d love to return someday!

In 2025, I visited Okinawa four times and stayed at different condo vacation rentals each time. However, my stay at Doka Doka was the best, so I decided to return here for my year-end visit. During this second stay, I noticed various thoughtful touches from the perspective of guests that I hadn't realized during my first visit. It made me feel that this place is the perfect choice for future stays. While many "Instagrammable Rooms" are introduced all over Okinawa, I've often felt they lack consideration for actual guest needs when staying there. This includes kitchen facilities, cooking utensils, bathrooms, or even how doors open and close—small details but noticeable nonetheless. It seems like those managing such facilities may not have actually stayed in their own rooms themselves. On the other hand, it feels like whoever designed this place considered everything from a personal user’s perspective because nothing is lacking here. (The bathroom doesn't have a reheating function for baths; hence my rating of 4 stars in that regard—but it's not something I'd ask to be changed as it’s perfectly fine as is.) It may not be highly "Instagrammable," but it offers more than enough comfort if your goal is to live like a local during your stay. The beautiful Yachimun pottery provided adds an extra touch of joy when preparing meals in the kitchen. The café breakfast experience was also wonderful—staff were very kind and accommodating with generous portions served. The scenery was stunning while the gentle music and atmosphere inside uplifted our morning mood beautifully. I’m already looking forward to visiting again next time! Thank you very much!

A perfect blend of traditional Japanese Ryokan charm and modern simplicity! The staff were incredibly friendly, and the meals were delicious. I would love to visit again.

I chose to stay here because the exterior and interior photos were so striking, and I was also drawn to the fact that it is operated by a public interest incorporated association that supports children with intractable illnesses and their families. The welcome drink and sweets, as well as the complimentary drinks, all had a distinctly Okinawan touch and were truly enjoyable. The staff’s service was polite yet friendly and warm, which left a strong impression. The private bath is used on a time-slot rotation, but since there aren’t many guest groups staying at once, it didn’t feel inconvenient at all. The spacious bath allowed me to relax comfortably. It drizzled lightly at night, and watching raindrops fall onto the water feature in the center of the building and ripple outward felt wonderfully magical. The next morning was sunny, so we had breakfast in the lush garden while surrounded by pleasant morning light. I was able to enjoy Okinawan dishes and fruits that are not easy to come across in everyday life—it was deeply satisfying. In particular, the island banana smoothie served before breakfast was so delicious that I honestly wanted seconds (haha). It was only one night, but it was a truly lovely Accommodation where I could step away from daily life and spend quiet, peaceful time.

I stayed here with my elderly mother, and she was very satisfied because it was so comfortable. We were lucky with the weather, so relaxing in the Room while looking out at the blue ocean with a panoramic view was the best. There were no amenities like cleansing oil or face wash, but I felt that items such as toothbrushes were good quality and well provided. The bed in particular was very comfortable, and my back felt better when I woke up. We could also use separate bedrooms, which made it very relaxing. This time we stayed for two nights, but my mother and I are saying that next time we’d like to stay for about a week! Because my mother has trouble walking, it would have been 120 points if there had been a chair in the bathroom. As for the “cemetery view” mentioned in other Reviews, we were on the 4th floor so it didn’t bother me at all. Self check-in and check-out were easy and convenient. It has become one of the villas I’d like to visit again. Thank you.

We were able to propose in an extraordinary space with a wonderful view. Even the cups were made of Yachimun pottery, and we could really feel the love for Okinawa. The LINE messages before our stay were also very polite and kind. Thank you very much. We would love to stay again.

- The Facility was still very clean and well maintained, with effective air conditioning, so it was comfortable. - Heart Rock and Tokei Beach were just a short drive away, which was convenient. - The staff were kind and lent us packing tape for the cardboard box we needed to ship our luggage home, responding helpfully without any fuss. - Since there were five adults and three children, we rented two buildings; we appreciated that you arranged the Rooms to be facing each other. - The road leading up to the property is unpaved, and with the rain our rental car got covered in mud. - There was no dining table in the dining area, which made meals inconvenient. It would also be nice to have at least some basic seasonings. - We stayed for three nights and four days. Unfortunately it rained every day so the trip was a bit disappointing, but we still managed to swim in the ocean one day and have one BBQ as well. From the BBQ area we could even catch a glimpse of the sun setting despite the cloudy sky. I think it would have been much more comfortable in clear weather, so I’d like to come back again next time for a retry. Overall, I felt it offered excellent value for money.

For this price, I was very satisfied with both the location and the Room. The beach is just a short walk from the Hotel. The views from the Room and the rooftop were wonderful. Rather than typical Hotel service, their hospitality was exceptional. I would definitely like to stay here again when I want to relax.
