I forgot to submit the survey, so I’m leaving a comment here. I stayed this summer. The meals were excellent, especially the fish. The portions were generous and left me completely satisfied. The large public bath was spacious and very relaxing. Some parts of the Facility seem a bit old, but the location is convenient and it stays cool, so I was able to unwind. I’d like to stay again in summer.

This was our second stay, about three years since the last time. Due to the earthquake and other factors, it wasn’t very busy, but we decided that this was exactly the time to visit and stayed one night at Yume GingA for an early wedding anniversary. The conditions must have been just right, because there was a massive swarm of winged ants outside, which was awful. However, the food was delicious, the service was attentive, and we were very satisfied. The Onsen is also excellent. My wife even brought a star chart, but unfortunately we had to give up this time. On our departure as well, all the staff waved us off until we were out of sight—once again making it a place that leaves you thinking at the end that you want to come back.

Despite the heavy rain and strong winds, you kindly accommodated us even before check-in time. Thank you as well for preparing dinner on short notice. The Wi-Fi signal was weak, so the connection wasn’t very reliable, but we were able to relax in the Onsen. Thank you.

Many guests were also staying here to go golfing. The Hotel staff were very kind. The Room was thoroughly cleaned, and I had a comfortable stay. The food was delicious as well. I was very satisfied. Thank you!

There were more cars than I expected, but the dining area and baths were not very crowded. We stayed on Friday and Saturday, and it didn’t seem like there were many families. Everything was smooth and consistently comfortable throughout our stay. It was a Ryokan I would definitely like to visit again. Thank you very much.

We stayed in a city-side Room on the top floor of Building 1. The weather was great, so both the daytime view and the night scenery were absolutely beautiful. We had a clear view of Mount Inasa right in front of us. The Room was spacious and relaxing.\nHowever, there seemed to be only one mirror in the bathroom (we looked around the entire Room but couldn’t find another), which made doing makeup a bit inconvenient.\nMeals were buffet-style with a wide variety of options, and everything was delicious. Our elderly parents were very satisfied as well, and we would definitely like to stay again if we have the chance.

Since I was traveling by train, it was really helpful that it was close to the station. The Room was compact but very comfortable, and even though the bed was a single, it felt a bit larger! The meals were also very delicious. Even though it was May, the Room was very hot and I tried to turn on the air conditioner, but it wouldn’t start. It was my first time needing to insert a stick at the entrance to turn on the main power, so the front desk staff showed me how. The sunset view from the window was beautiful. It was a quiet and very nice Accommodation!

The Accommodation buildings are scattered across a spacious property, offering a relaxing escape from the bustle of the city. But the greatest highlight here is the wonderful dinner. The menu is thoughtfully crafted, with many unique and unusual dishes. The chef’s dedication really shows in the food, and I was very satisfied. The Onsen is also excellent, with free-flowing natural hot spring water. I didn’t know there was such a great place in Kokonoe.

We stayed here for the first time for my wife’s birthday. The Facility is old, but that can’t be helped. The Room was exactly what we requested and was very clean. The bed firmness was just right, and we slept well. Both dinner and breakfast were excellent. The Onsen was great, but it was disappointing that one of the shower stations had poor water pressure. The staff were very kind and helpful. We would like to stay again.

This was my second stay at this Hotel. Last time I stayed in a Japanese-style Room, and this time I had made a Reservation for a twin Room (+ an extra bed), but you kindly prepared a four-bed Room for us. Last time, the Room and Facility felt a bit dated, but this time it didn’t feel old at all—perhaps it has been renovated—and we had a very comfortable stay. I especially loved how the pillows sank just right; I liked them so much that I wanted the same ones for myself. Also, even before check-in, you thoughtfully called to let us know that “the Room was ready earlier than expected.” We were tired after spending the whole day at Greenland in midsummer from opening time, so being able to rest in our Room right away was extremely helpful. The air conditioning worked perfectly, and it was wonderfully comfortable from the moment we walked in. As other Reviews mention, dinner did feel warm, but there were plenty of cold drinks as well as shaved ice and soft-serve ice cream available, so we didn’t find it inconvenient. Breakfast also had just the right amount of variety and was delicious. It seemed fully booked, yet we never felt crowded inside the Hotel and were able to relax comfortably. The only thing was that we went to the bath during its busiest time and had some waiting time, but it was within an acceptable range. The Onsen after a long day of activities was wonderful. The next day we used the pool, and when staff told us “You’re welcome to use the Onsen after 11:00,” we gratefully did so. The changing area also had plastic bags for swimsuits and towels prepared—it truly felt like every detail was taken care of. I would love to stay at Hotel Blanca again on our next visit to Greenland. I often stay here when I have to work on Saturdays. The Room is clean, and I wake up feeling refreshed. Breakfast is delicious too. I’d love to stay again.

This is a repeat stay. I believe this is the nicest Accommodation on Amami Oshima. The ocean is right in front of you, and you can even see sea turtles while snorkeling. You can also see the ocean from the bathtub, and there is a kitchen for self-catering. We will come again next year.

My check-in was late due to the ferry schedule, but they kindly accommodated me. In the living room, guests were happily chatting with the hosts! On the day I left, they saw me off even in the heat and took a commemorative photo with me! I had a very comfortable stay and would love to come again! Thank you very much!

I was looking for an Accommodation about an hour’s drive from Hakata where I could enjoy both a sauna and great food, and that’s how I found this place. It seems this long-established Ryokan has been renovated into a Ryokan with saunas in every room. I loved the Japanese-modern style. There aren’t many shared spaces, so it’s perfect for a relaxing stay-in retreat. The staff were incredibly kind. It has the warm, charming atmosphere unique to a Ryokan—different from the service at foreign-owned hotels. The meals reflected the local character of Kyushu and Oita while also trying new ideas, and everything was delicious. Dinner was wonderful, of course, and having hitsumabushi for breakfast was a first for me—such a refreshing experience. One of the condiments was yuzu kosho with grated daikon. That was also a lovely new way to enjoy it. And of course, it was domestically produced eel! The sauna let us adjust the temperature, connect via Bluetooth, and the relaxation space was very comfortable as well. Since this is a Ryokan that really lends itself to staying in, I would have appreciated slightly later check-in and check-out times. Overall, I’m very satisfied with this Ryokan. Thank you!

The villa was more spacious and cleaner than we expected—almost too luxurious for just the two of us. The large open-air bath outside was wonderfully relaxing, and we enjoyed the Onsen while feeling close to nature, soaking many times. Mt. Yufu looked beautiful right in front of us, and the indoor Onsen bath was also great. We only had breakfast, but it was prepared in the refrigerator, so we could eat at whatever time we liked in the kitchen, and it was delicious. We’d love to stay again in a different season.

I usually don't write reviews for accommodations, but this trip was truly unforgettable, so I decided to share my experience. Around 12:20 AM, there was an unexpected power outage. While waiting for the power to be restored, it became inconvenient (cold and unable to flush the toilet), so I filed a complaint around 1:00 AM. It turned out that the entire area was affected by the outage and nothing could be done about it. I deeply regret filing a complaint under such circumstances. The power was restored around 3:00 AM, and I can only imagine how hard it must have been for the staff during that time. Looking outside, I saw people in the area working together to address the situation—it warmed my heart. The whole community came together as one team; it was truly remarkable and made me feel ashamed of my earlier complaint. Additionally, lanterns were placed in hallways without us even noticing when they were set up—this thoughtful response left me deeply moved. On another note, both dinner and breakfast were outstanding! Having traveled extensively and stayed at various accommodations before, this one stands out as exceptional (the cost-performance ratio is amazing; it's a level of service unimaginable on Honshu). Compared to other famous seafood regions like Izu, Ishikawa, Boso Peninsula, Ehime, Miyagi, Akita... even Hokkaido—this place ranks No.1 for me! The photos of meals are just a glimpse—they truly exceeded expectations. Due to unforeseen circumstances on that day requiring me to be in Hakata City by 8:00 PM., we consulted with staff who kindly adjusted our dinner start time earlier despite short notice and ensured quick service during our meal—I am extremely grateful. One minor disappointment would be with the bathing facility setup—I had booked a standard room but regretted not choosing a suite instead after seeing what they offered later on-site; if shown beforehand upon arrival perhaps would've upgraded immediately! Overall though—from handling unexpected events like outages or accommodating special requests regarding dining arrangements—this trip has been extraordinary beyond words thanks largely due efforts from your wonderful team members whom deserve heartfelt gratitude making sure everything went smoothly leaving lasting impression forever cherished memory indeed! If ratings allowed higher than five stars surely would give them here since overall experience surpasses expectations entirely deserving perfect score across board absolutely phenomenal stay thank-you again please continue providing such excellent hospitality always!

I finally got to stay at Lily's House! As imagined, it was a great accommodation. The building is old, but the interior has been beautifully renovated, and the Goemon bath had a wonderful atmosphere. I was very satisfied. The staff were also flexible and accommodating. Highly recommended!

This was our first time staying here, and thanks to the owner’s kindness and thoughtfulness, we felt warmly welcomed every day. We stayed for four nights, and although it rained, it was the most pleasant trip we’ve ever had. Our child and my parents were all very happy, and we were completely satisfied. If we can get some time off, we would love to stay again. Our whole family is truly filled with gratitude. Thank you very much for everything.
