The lounge also had a great collection of records—I couldn't resist playing some nostalgic tunes. There were plenty of tabletop games too; I almost didn’t want to return to my room! Watching the sunset from the Onsen while relaxing at this hotel was truly rejuvenating. I

This is a small, cozy, hidden-gem Accommodation. The meals were excellent—dinner, breakfast, and even gelato! In the evening, you can help yourself to wine, whisky, and soft drinks as much as you like. This was also a great service. You can also visit the Onsen at Suizantei, but if you’re not particularly looking for an Onsen, the in-room jacuzzi bath is more than enough to enjoy. We really appreciated the Shuttle Service to Chitose Station. (One small thing: it would have been even better if there had been jam for the breakfast toast.) It’s close to walks around Lake Shikotsu and is great for an evening or morning stroll. An Accommodation I’d definitely recommend to others. Thank you for taking care of us.

The staff were kind and helpful, and the Room was very clean, but the amenities felt too limited. The onigiri provided for lunch at breakfast was delicious, but it was a bit disappointing that the fried items at the morning buffet were cold.

The Onsen was wonderful, and the breakfast was delicious. The staff were welcoming and attentive. My friend and I said we’d like to come again. The Room was spacious, and the view from the window was great. We were satisfied with everything.

Since it is connected to a shopping center, we didn’t have to worry about parking, and even on rainy days we could unload our luggage from the car without getting wet and enter the Hotel. The fish at breakfast was delicious.

We chose this vacation house in the Maoi area of Naganuma Town to get away from the city noise, relax in nature, and recharge. It had already been featured by various people on YouTube, so it fully lived up to our expectations. All we could hear were birdsong, insects, and the wind. Just watching the sky change—from sunset to twilight, a sky full of stars, and then dawn—made all our worries fade away. We stayed at Maoiq konfort, designed around a Scandinavian interior concept. The Louis Poulsen pendant lights in the double-height space were beautiful as they reflected again and again in the glass against the sunset sky. For me, unlike a Hotel stay, there’s simply no alternative to a vacation house where you can spend time privately and peacefully without anyone disturbing you—so I don’t mind a small difference in cost. Thank you for such a wonderful stay. Below are a few points that I felt would make it even better, from my perspective working in architecture and interiors: I would have liked an interior roller blind since the entrance door is glass. Similarly, vertical blinds on the living-room windows facing the double-height space would be helpful. It would be best if there were dimmer circuits for the lighting switches. I’d prefer outlets by the bed to be on the center side; there was nowhere convenient to place my phone while charging. The bedside light is positioned too high and falls into your line of sight when lying down. If Scandinavian design is truly the concept, I’d like to see floor or table lamps added. I wanted lower-level lighting overall. (Downlights on the double-height ceiling don’t feel necessary.) To enjoy stargazing at night, I wanted an on/off switch for the lighting that illuminates the white birch trunks across from the terrace. A luggage rack would be appreciated—I didn’t want to bring dirty suitcase wheels indoors.

After my wife was discharged from the hospital, she successfully passed two follow-up checkups, and we finally planned our first trip in a year. While searching for an exceptional stay as a surprise gift, we found this Accommodation. In a completely private setting, we were able to enjoy a blissful escape from everyday life. The Room filled with bright light through floor-to-ceiling glass windows, the vast grassland stretching out before us, the free-flowing Onsen and pool fed directly from the source, and the soothing sounds of nature—just what we could see and hear was enough to heal us. And yet, the chef’s warm personality reflected in every dish, along with stories full of love for Hokkaido, made it truly unforgettable. Using local ingredients along with freshly picked herbs and vegetables harvested right on the property, the unpretentious course allowed us to fully savor Hokkaido. From appetizers created right in front of us to a beautifully cooked main grilled over firewood rather than charcoal, every once-in-a-lifetime dish for that day alone moved us again and again—right through dessert. The wines thoughtfully recommended at just the right moments were also excellent. Small gestures—like turning our leftover corn rice into onigiri for a late-night snack—were deeply touching. The smooth, slightly thick Moor Onsen water left our skin silky soft, and I found myself soaking again and again after dinner, in the middle of the night, and at dawn (laughs). The steam rising into the night air under a sky full of stars was so calming I wished time would stop. Breakfast in the crisp morning air was also an array of homemade delights—we enjoyed every last bit of what this Accommodation has to offer. Spending time in an entirely private space where you can have endless views and the chef’s cuisine all to yourself—without anyone disturbing you—is truly one of a kind. Thanks to you all, it became the best possible surprise trip to celebrate my wife’s discharge. It was clean, and the living space was just the right size. The rate was comparable to a Business Hotel, so I decided to stay without hesitation. Like a condominium, it has a kitchen area, a washing machine, and separate bath and toilet facilities, so I felt it would be convenient even for long-term stays. I would like to use it again.
