First, head to the main building to check in. Check-in was quick, and after parking the car it was just a 1-minute walk to the villa. The exterior was simple, but the moment we opened the front door, a breathtaking view spread out before us. There were two fluffy beds upstairs and one downstairs, plus a futon set up for one person in the Japanese-style room—we were excited deciding where to sleep. Since we checked in toward evening, the sunset was stunning and incredibly relaxing. This time we made a Reservation for breakfast only, and it was delivered around 9:00 a.m. the next morning. The portions were generous and left us happily full from the start of the day: delicious sausages, yogurt, plenty of salad, scrambled eggs, and rich corn soup—everything was outstanding. We ate at the first-floor counter while looking out at the ocean, which was perfect. You can also step straight out to the beach in seconds, so we were completely satisfied.

My stay at “Fuji Seiran” in Toda Onsen was truly special and left a lasting impression. What struck me first was the location. From the guest rooms and many areas throughout the property, you can enjoy luxurious views of Mt. Fuji, a UNESCO World Heritage site, creating a wonderful sense of being one with nature. On the day I visited, the sky had cleared after a typhoon, and the air was astonishingly crisp—Mt. Fuji’s silhouette stood out sharply in the distance. At sunset, the beauty of the sky was simply beyond words. The room featured a refined modern Japanese design that balanced calm comfort with an upscale feel. Sitting by the window and taking in the scenery at leisure was a truly indulgent moment that made me forget everyday noise and stress. The Onsen was also excellent—gentle on the skin, and afterward I could feel warmth reaching deep into my body. Dinner left an especially strong impression. Using abundant local ingredients from Izu, each dish showcased what makes this area unique: fresh seafood and seasonal vegetables prepared with great care one by one. Everything was beautifully presented, delighting not only my palate but also my eyes. The cuisine brought out the best of local ingredients and made my trip even more satisfying. The staff were exceptionally courteous, with thoughtful attention to detail throughout my stay. In particular, Ms./Mr. S not only explained details about the Accommodation but also shared knowledge about local highlights and ingredients—and our conversations were genuinely enjoyable as well. Thank you very much. From check-in to check-out, I felt comfortable at every moment thanks to this high level of hospitality. With nature, views, cuisine, and relaxation all coming together perfectly, Fuji Seiran is an Accommodation I would highly recommend to anyone looking for an extraordinary getaway. It was a memorable stay that made me sincerely want to return again someday.

Located in the simple, relaxing town of Matsuzaki, this is a simple and calming Accommodation. The Room is very clean, and simple in a really good way. There are two izakaya within easy reach, so you won’t have trouble finding dinner, and there’s also a snack bar just a few minutes’ walk away. The bath is also a natural Onsen—morning baths are the best! This is my regular place to stay.

We stayed here for a four-generation family trip. The Room was clean and spacious just as shown in the photos, and the Facility was flawless. We also ordered a sashimi platter for an additional fee, and both the taste and portion size were excellent. If I had to mention anything, the mountain road on the way to the Accommodation is quite steep, and it’s an environment where insects are likely to appear.

The stairs from the parking lot to the building were quite numerous, and with all our luggage, it was challenging to carry everything in one trip. However, the breathtaking view in front of the building made up for it. Although there were no curtains and the west sun shone through, waking up to such a stunning view and witnessing the beauty of the sunset was an unforgettable experience unique to this place. We enjoyed using the BBQ facilities on both nights of our stay. Bugs were not much of an issue, and we had a delightful dinner outdoors. The sheets and duvet covers were very clean with a linen-like texture that felt wonderful against our skin. Although there were no curtains allowing sunlight to stream in, the air conditioning worked perfectly, keeping us comfortable throughout our stay. We also appreciated that eco-friendly products like detergent and shampoo were provided. We would love to visit again! It was truly a memorable stay.

The proprietress and all the staff were kind, and we felt very comfortable throughout our stay. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious, with satisfying portions. The abalone at dinner and the dried fish at breakfast were especially tasty! Unfortunately, we didn’t use the private bath this time because it felt like too much of a hassle to go there, but the in-room bath was more than enough. If I had to mention one thing, I wanted to go for an early-morning walk to fully enjoy wonderful Matsuzaki Town, but the doors were locked for security so I couldn’t go out. I also understand that having staff on duty from early morning may not be practical, and every Accommodation has its own style, so that’s completely fine. It’s truly a wonderful setting, and I’d love to stay again.

The in-Room dining tasted great, and the portions were very satisfying! If I had to say one thing, it would be perfect if the time between courses could be a bit shorter. I ended up feeling full while waiting (lol). The open-air bath in the Room was also amazing—I think I used it about 10 times (lol).

Thank you very much for your hospitality. The three of us—my 92-year-old mother, my husband, and I—found and chose this Accommodation online, and everything was excellent. We were able to relax in the renovated Japanese-style Room and bedroom. Although it is an Accommodation where you can stay with your dog, it felt very clean, and it seemed that every corner was thoroughly cleaned. The meals were also very delicious, and the boat platter was more than we could finish. It was disappointing that we couldn’t go cruising due to the typhoon, but since it was before summer vacation there were no crowds, we could get around smoothly, and we fully enjoyed a wonderful trip to Izu. Thank you again. We would love to stay here again.

The Facility is old, but the staff are kind and you can have a comfortable stay. The view from the dining hall is amazing! Dinner at 18:00, breakfast at 8:00. They also lent us a fishing rod, but the line was short—bringing your own rod is a must. You can borrow a bucket too, but there’s no rope, so you can’t scoop up water?! (lol) The nearby tackle shop closes at 16:00, so be sure to get bait in advance. Chokujinja Shrine is close by and has an excellent location, so I recommend it.

Opening the front door reveals an ocean view, and the Room has been beautifully renovated—clean, spacious, and wonderful. However, there was a lot of dog hair from a previous guest on the floor and sofa. The stick vacuum was out of charge, so we used the provided lint roller to clean. There was no liquid left for the vape-type insect repellent. Also, since there is no night light on the second floor, a stand light had been provided as an alternative, but it was broken. The floors did not feel thoroughly cleaned, which was a bit disappointing. The BBQ grill didn’t seem to get hot enough—at first I thought it might be broken, though now I think it may have been due to how it’s operated. That said, the area is a quiet residential neighborhood with a supermarket nearby. The view from the windows is amazing—you can see the sea—and at night the stars are beautiful. Most cooking utensils and seasonings are provided. There’s no TV service, but Wi-Fi is available and you can project Netflix and other content onto the wall for a home-theater experience. The interior has been renovated; upstairs is set up as bedrooms; and both the toilet and bath are very clean. The air conditioning works well. The best part by far is the continuously flowing open-air bath: both the indoor bath and open-air bath are natural Onsen. The round open-air bath is about 160 cm in diameter and can fit three people comfortably. It helped us forget everyday life and truly relax. We also appreciated receiving a paella meal kit as a seasonal perk—thank you for your thoughtful hospitality. We booked again because we trust that making a Reservation through IKYU won’t disappoint. Overall, it was very good—a wonderful time—and our dog enjoyed it too.

My children stayed at the Accommodation with their father for the first time. They said the food was delicious and their stay was comfortable. Unfortunately, the weather did not cooperate and they couldn’t set off the fireworks they had been looking forward to, but it still seems to have become a wonderful memory. If we have the opportunity, we would love to visit again.

In addition to the splendid golden eye snapper, the sashimi and other dishes were also delicious and we really enjoyed them. The pudding was great too, but my personal favorite was the quiche. The owner, the hostess, and all the staff were kind and attentive. The Nekomatagi Championship was also fun. We were able to use the bath whenever we wanted for the most part. The guestbook mentioned facial lotion, but it wasn’t available in the bath area, so it would be even better if it were provided. With handmade town guides and other thoughtful touches, we felt a lot of warmth. It was a busy weekend trip, but a truly relaxing stay.

The ocean was right in front of us, and we could hear the sound of the waves even inside the Room—it was very relaxing. The staff were also very pleasant and wonderful. We would love to stay here many more times in the future. Thank you very much.

I had been feeling worn out, so I made a same-day Reservation because I wanted to soak in the Onsen. Since it was a weekday, I was able to relax and enjoy the Onsen at a leisurely pace. Even though it was reasonably priced, dinner felt luxurious—there was simmered golden eye snapper, which really impressed me. Everything was delicious, and I felt refreshed. The staff were also kind and helpful. Thank you very much.

We stayed with our dog. Despite the unfortunate weather, we were able to create wonderful memories. The Wi-Fi signal was a bit unstable in the bathroom and at the back of the loft, which was slightly concerning.

If I had to mention a downside, the exterior and interior felt a bit worn, which made the atmosphere seem a little intimidating. However, the bath was clean and the Onsen water flows continuously, so it was amazing! The meals were delicious with no complaints, and since it was a buffet we really enjoyed it! One more thing… it was a bit disappointing that we couldn’t connect external devices to the TV. It can’t be helped given the Facility setup, but the game console we brought ended up being useless. We also wanted to mirror our smartphone screen on the TV, but that wasn’t possible either. We played cards and table tennis with my siblings instead, but it was still a little disappointing.

The sunset and sunrise were amazing. The onsen was also very good. We searched for the property after getting close to it, as we couldn't find it! The location of the property wasn't on the car's navigation system, so we asked a local for help and solved it!
