This time, we were completely satisfied with the Room, meals, and staff. Last time, the front desk staff were unfriendly and I wondered what was going on, but this time both check-in and check-out were very pleasant. I was extremely satisfied with all the Facilities in the property. The all-inclusive plan and the amenities bar were both excellent. This was my first trip to Hakone, and I stayed at this Hotel. The phone support and the front desk service were both very pleasant. For dinner, we chose the French cuisine; the portions were just right, and everything—from the dishes to the dessert—was delicious. For breakfast, we had a Japanese meal, and the dishes made with plenty of local ingredients made for a wonderful start to the day. On our way back, it was raining and I was traveling with my elderly mother, so I waited in the lobby until the last minute for our mountain bus—and ended up missing it. The staff noticed we were in trouble right away and suggested several alternative options, which allowed us to catch our flight home safely. Thanks to your outstanding hospitality in every respect, we had a truly enjoyable trip. The only disappointment this time was the weather, but I would love to come back and try again. The Room had a continuously flowing cloudy Onsen, and we truly appreciated the thoughtful Room Service and Shuttle Service. It was excellent value for a Saturday stay for one guest. The only disappointment was that amenities such as facial lotion were individually packaged and provided for just one use—I would have appreciated at least two uses. The meals were the right amount for me, but they may feel a bit light for younger guests or men. Next time, I’d like to enjoy a drink at the bar.

We stayed for one night on the dog-friendly Plan with dinner and breakfast included. Both the seafood hot pot and breakfast were delicious. The seafood hot pot portion was a bit small, so if you have a big appetite, I recommend bringing extra ingredients. For breakfast, the made-to-order omelet and French toast from the live kitchen were especially good. The bath area had fewer washing stations than expected, so you may have to wait during busy times. The shower was easy to use (adjustable water pressure and it didn’t shut off automatically), and the ReFa hair dryer dried even long hair quickly. There were also a pool and table tennis in the building, plus board games available to borrow for in-Room play—our child loved them. The Room felt like a luxury apartment model unit, with the bedroom clearly separated from the living/dining/kitchen area, so we could relax without worrying even after our child fell asleep. If you have a Netflix account, you can watch it on the TV. That said, it’s hard to ignore that some detailed cleaning in the Room seemed insufficient—especially how dirty the air conditioner and ventilation fan were, which was disappointing. The air conditioner had heavy blackish stains that looked like mold not only inside but also on the exterior. The ventilation filters in the changing area and toilet were packed with dust, which was shocking. Also, while the bathroom and kitchen areas were kept clean overall, limescale hadn’t been fully removed from the small sink installed in the toilet. Dog amenities were well stocked overall, making this Accommodation great value for money and one we’d like to stay at again—but because both the air conditioner and vents were truly dirty, I hope they will be thoroughly cleaned before our next visit.

It was an extremely satisfying stay, and above all, the meals were outstanding. I was only able to have dinner, but everything was carefully prepared, from the seasoning to the presentation. I also personally really appreciated that the meal was not served in the Room, but could be enjoyed in a spacious dining area. The view from the dining area was superb.

I made a Reservation because this is an Accommodation where you can stay with pets, but I think it is wonderful even without a pet. There was none of the bustle you might find at a large Ryokan, and the Accommodation was located in a quiet villa area not far from Jogasaki Coast. As I wanted a Room where meals could be served in a private dining space, I stayed this time in the Room called “Akane.” This Room had an exceptionally spacious layout with a living area, dining area, and bedroom, and it was very comfortable to relax in. The staff were also gentle and kind, allowing us to spend a peaceful time together as a family. The food was so plentiful we could hardly finish it—a creative course meal that truly felt like an escape from everyday life—and everything was delicious and very satisfying. I also appreciated how carefully they confirmed any ingredients we do not like in advance, making this an Accommodation I would love to visit again. We were told the outdoor open-air bath uses water drawn from Atagawa’s hot spring source; the temperature was perfect, and I enjoyed it many times during our stay. Unfortunately, we did not have good weather during our visit, which was the only disappointment. I will come back for another try at enjoying the open-air bath while watching the sunrise. Next time, I would like to stay for two nights at a leisurely pace. Thank you very much.

This was my first stay, and I was very satisfied with both the large public bath and the breakfast. The Room didn’t feel cramped at all, and I was able to relax comfortably. Walking around town was fun, but it was hotter than expected, so I ended up drenched in sweat and completely exhausted. After rinsing off in the large public bath, I really didn’t feel like going back out, so the complimentary late-night soba service was truly appreciated. (The half-size portion was perfect as a light supper after eating out.) At breakfast, I loved being able to enjoy small portions of local specialties, and it felt like a great value. This is an Accommodation I would definitely like to stay at again.

The facilities were clean, and the meals were delicious. They had a great selection of thoughtful pet amenities, which we really appreciated. Karaoke was also affordable at 500 yen per person per hour. We’d love to visit again in winter.

Because it was a three-day weekend right at the start of summer vacation, it ended up a little over our original budget—but we wanted to stay here so badly that we made the Reservation anyway. And once we actually stayed… it was worth every yen—no, even more than that. We had an absolutely wonderful time. The location was even better than expected: right in front of us were white sand and a blue sea. There were quite a few families and international guests, but at night it was very quiet. You can head straight to the beach from the Hotel, and everything was thoughtfully prepared—dedicated beach sandals, a washing machine, towels, and more. I also really appreciated that when you take off your slippers there, you can place them neatly into a shoe box labeled with your Room name—something I found especially reassuring as someone who’s a bit particular about cleanliness. The Room was truly spacious, spotless, and very functional. Everything felt refined from corner to corner—the washbasin, furnishings, wall colors, decorations—all beautifully coordinated and calming. A small detail, but the loungewear fabric was very soft and had buttons so it stayed in place comfortably. The semi-open-air bath in the guest room had excellent water quality and temperature. Being able to soak slowly while looking out at the ocean—with no insects flying around—was pure bliss. We enjoyed our in-room meals while chatting pleasantly with our attendant; everything was delicious. The simmered whole kinmedai (splendid alfonsino) was especially impressive—large and full of flavor—truly “this is Izu!” That said, personally I would have preferred beef as steak (even a small portion) rather than chilled shabu-shabu wrapped with vegetables. If many guests are older adults, it would be great if there were an option available even with an additional charge. Breakfast included many dishes as well—I ended up eating quite a lot first thing in the morning! Overall this Accommodation deserves high marks across the board; if I had to be strictly critical, dinner alone could have felt slightly more luxurious or surprising—something that makes you think “This is exceptional—I’ve never tasted anything like it.” Even so, it was such a wonderful Accommodation that I absolutely want to return again next year.
