We stayed for 3 days and 2 nights. The Facilities, the staff’s atmosphere, and the meals were all excellent. It was clear that each staff member truly loves dogs and enjoys working here. We would definitely like to stay again.

Being welcomed back with “Welcome home” always puts me at ease from the moment I arrive at the front desk. It was very crowded during the Silver Week holidays, but even so, the staff’s warm hospitality—such as wiping my rain-soaked suitcase with a spotless white towel—meant so much to me. The bath was just right, and as always, the meals were delicious and beautifully presented. Whether it was the food or the wine, I truly enjoyed a deeply satisfying time. I have an intense workload ahead through next year, but when I’m worn out again, I’d love to come back for some relaxation.

We had a wonderful time again. I was truly happy and pleasantly surprised when you brought out a birthday cake for me. The food, the baths, and the staff’s service were all excellent, and even after six years, I’m glad we chose to stay here. We would love to visit again!

Though it is a small inn, everything was perfectly arranged with nothing lacking—truly wonderful. The hot spring was always at the ideal temperature no matter when we entered; thank you to the bath attendant. Thank you as well for kindly accommodating our requests. The meals were excellent, and the attendant was experienced, making us feel comfortable leaving everything in their hands. We would love to return. Thank you very much.

We made wonderful memories. The meals were thoughtfully prepared and absolutely delicious. The bath water was pleasantly soft, and we could have stayed in for hours. The room was bright and relaxing. We were worried because of the typhoon, but we were happy to still be able to see Hatsushima Island clearly. All the staff were kind and welcoming, and both my spouse and I were able to unwind at a leisurely pace. We would definitely like to stay again.

I had a wonderfully relaxing stay at a comfortable pace. It was quiet and spotless throughout, and the Onsen was incredibly open and wonderful. Every meal was deeply delicious. The staff were also very pleasant and welcoming. I feel as if both my body and mind have been refreshed. I can hardly believe how reasonably priced it is. Thank you very much. I will definitely return.

I visited with my 16-year-old Shiba Inu. With a private open-air hot spring bath with free-flowing water, a private dog run, and delicious meals, it had everything we could ask for and we were able to relax completely. The outdoor dog run and the path leading to it are neatly maintained with wood chips, and everyone at the inn was very kind to our dog—it was a wonderful, truly dog-friendly place to stay.

We stayed to celebrate my father’s 81st birthday. From the warm welcome at our car, the staff’s courteous and heartfelt hospitality left a strong impression, and we were able to spend the entire stay in great comfort. Not only was every detail thoughtfully taken care of—including arranging a wheelchair—but the all-inclusive offerings were also exceptionally fulfilling, allowing us to relax and enjoy a luxurious time without worrying about the clock. Each dish was beautifully presented and delicious, and together with the atmosphere and interior design throughout the Hotel, we felt quality and attentive care in everything. I’m truly glad we chose this Hotel for such a special occasion as a birthday. I had assumed it might be used mostly by younger guests, but there were many older guests as well, so we could enjoy a calm and relaxing atmosphere. Thanks to everyone’s kindness, it became an unforgettable memory for us. This is a wonderful Hotel that makes us want to return in another season. Thank you very much for your sincere hospitality. We stayed here to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. As soon as we drove up to the entrance, the staff—already waiting—welcomed us with amazingly smooth, attentive service. I was nervous in an unfamiliar place, but before I knew it I was in the lobby with Bach playing softly, looking out at the sea and enjoying a chilled glass of champagne, my excitement building. The space was spotless and warmly appointed, and the selection of sweets, drinks, and amenities showed impeccable taste. The toothbrush was the most comfortable I’ve ever used. Above all, the bath was outstanding. With the window open, listening to birdsong and gazing at the ocean—and because it’s free-flowing—I even tried skipping a rinse-off and body cream afterward, yet my skin stayed moisturized without drying out! At dusk, the view from the lounge was beautiful. The British ginger lemonade was delicious, and we’re especially grateful to the elegant and attentive female staff member who made the lounge so wonderfully comfortable—thank you as well for preparing an orange liqueur for us at the end. Both dinner and breakfast were excellent; not only did everything taste wonderful, but the ingredients and presentation were beautiful too. That said, I couldn’t stop eating bread and butter and ended up too full by the time we reached the main course! Even so, it was cooked perfectly and tasted superb—I finished it all. Next time I’ll pace myself so I can fully enjoy everything through to the main dish. The young service staff were also highly professional and impressive. Even without mentioning that it was an anniversary—and even as first-time guests simply dropping by—we received consistently thoughtful hospitality throughout. Thank you very much.

This was my second stay—last time with my family, and this time with my mother and siblings. The ocean is right in front of you, the Room is spacious, and the hot spring source is just behind the property. The number of dishes, the staff’s service, and everything about the Onsen—its quality, cleanliness, and variety—are all just right. It’s a truly wonderful Accommodation. It seems like New Year’s holidays are decided by lottery, but I’m hoping we get selected.

We stayed in the Karaku Room. As we were traveling with my elderly parents and needed some assistance, I was a little anxious before our stay. I consulted with the property in advance, and every member of staff responded warmly and attentively, allowing us to relax and truly enjoy our trip. The ocean view from our room was breathtakingly beautiful, and at night we could see countless stars—an unforgettable sight. From the proprietress’s welcome matcha tea and sweets to each staff member’s thoughtful care and kind words, we felt genuine hospitality throughout. Every dish was truly delicious, and my parents finished everything to the last bite. In addition, the manager—who is also a sommelier—carefully listened to our preferences and selected a glass that was exactly what we were looking for. It paired wonderfully with the meal and made dinner even more special. Most of all, what stays with me is my parents’ happy smiles. When traveling with elderly parents, being able to spend time with peace of mind is essential. At Karaku, we received not only that sense of comfort but also time in which our whole family could feel truly happy. Seeing my parents smile made me think from the bottom of my heart, “I’m so glad we were all able to come here together.” Beautiful scenery, delicious food, and above all, genuine warmth from people. This time spent together as a family has become an irreplaceable memory we will never forget. I am deeply grateful that I could share such a wonderful time here with my parents. It was a truly outstanding inn—one we would love to visit again. To all the staff: thank you very much for giving our family memories we will never forget.

I traveled with my elderly parents and my daughter. The hotel had very high ratings when I researched it beforehand, so we arrived with high expectations. It truly was an outstanding hotel that more than lived up to them. We were moved by the panoramic ocean view from our room. Everything was spotless and very clean. For dinner, we chose the seasonal kaiseki course; the restaurant had a wonderful atmosphere, and we enjoyed a relaxed evening savoring delicious dishes at our own pace. Each item was carefully prepared—beautiful to look at and absolutely delicious. My daughter and parents were especially impressed by the toro-taku. My parents are older and have weak teeth, but the wagyu steak was so tender that they could enjoy it without any trouble. They usually don’t eat much, yet they finished everything, which really surprised me. We used the large public bath, and the view from there was also incredible. The next morning, I woke up early with my parents and watched the sunrise from our room’s terrace; seeing how moved my father was made me feel deeply emotional as well. Breakfast was a buffet with Japanese and Western options plus a few Chinese dishes, so everyone could choose what they liked—we enjoyed it very much. The freshly made fluffy omelet and freshly squeezed orange juice were especially delicious. After check-out, the staff kindly assisted us all the way to the station, for which we are very grateful. I was able to give my parents a wonderful trip full of great memories. Thank you very much! We will definitely return again.

I had been curious about Ochiairo for a long time, and this time we were finally able to stay as a family of four. Seeing the striking plant-dyed noren hanging at the entrance truly made my heart leap. After we arrived, we were shown to the lounge, where we could freely enjoy drinks and sweets. The Room was beautifully appointed with a wonderful sense of tradition, and we could also see the garden from the Room—an incredibly calming experience. The free-flowing hot spring bath by the river was outstanding, and in particular, the open-air bath where you can bathe in swimwear was something our family enjoyed together while chatting. The cuisine was also excellent—each dish carefully prepared down to the smallest detail, with a comforting warmth throughout. Especially memorable was the sakura shrimp at breakfast; it was so delicious that I ended up having three extra bowls of rice. The Ryokan staff’s hospitality was exceptionally attentive, making our stay thoroughly pleasant. In every respect, this is a first-class Accommodation. It is well worth traveling just to stay at Ochiairo. We even made our next Reservation during our stay. It was such a wonderful Accommodation that it made me want to make it our regular place—no, I will. Thank you for such a lovely time.

My spouse and I stayed here, and we truly had a wonderful time from start to finish. From the private open-air bath with free-flowing natural hot spring water, we enjoyed breathtaking views of Dogashima, and soaking while gazing out at the sea was exceptional. Watching the sunset… then enjoying the open-air bath under a sky full of stars… it was such a luxurious experience. The room was spacious with a great view, and we were able to relax in a private, comfortable atmosphere. Dinner was an original Japanese-Western kaiseki course featuring plenty of seasonal ingredients—both beautiful to look at and delicious. We also enjoyed taking our time with the three-tiered breakfast box; this is an inn that makes you look forward to mealtimes. Above all, every staff member was warm and attentive. We were especially charmed by Mr./Ms. B’s playful personality, and we truly appreciated all the thoughtful details. With wonderful views from both the dining area and the room, this is an inn we would love to stay at again. Thank you very much.

This was our second stay at Sekiyo. We were upgraded from Taikan and were able to stay in Kangetsuan. It was our first time in a detached guest room, and it was very quiet. From time to time, small birds came to the tree by the window, and my spouse and I were able to relax at a leisurely pace. We also fully enjoyed both the indoor bath and the open-air bath. The meals were wonderful—there were so many dishes that we couldn’t finish them all, and everything was delicious. The attentive service from the room attendant was excellent as well, and we would love to visit Sekiyo again.

We stayed here on a three-generation family trip. They kindly lent a wheelchair to my mother, who has difficulty walking, and the staff member in charge took wonderful care of us. Our whole family became a fan of them. (Thank you very much.) The hospitality was outstanding, and the baths were very clean. We were able to relax at our own pace. Every dish was delicious, and because meals were served in our room or in private dining rooms, we hardly ran into other guests inside the property. It was quiet and very comfortable. The Scandinavian chairs, reading materials, and small decorative items placed throughout the building were lovely as well—the sense of style was truly exceptional. It’s an inn that makes you want to come back. We would love to visit again in a different season.

We had seen a Review saying the pool temperature was low, and since it was a chilly day we were worried, but it was comfortably warm. The first-floor flooring is also not slippery, so I think it’s dog-friendly. If possible, it would have been even better if the second-floor flooring were made of similarly non-slip materials. The quality of the free-flowing Onsen water was great as well, and it was a wonderful Accommodation that makes not only dogs but also people want to come back.

I visited without expecting much, but it was a pleasant surprise. The service, meals, bath, and room were all very satisfying. If I had to mention one thing, it may not be ideal for those hoping for an open-air bath in the large public bath (due to the building’s layout). Next time, I’d like to stay in a different room as well.

This was my second visit this year, and it’s soothing no matter when I come. The service strikes just the right balance of attentiveness and privacy, the rooms are spacious, and the meals keep evolving—overall, it’s a place with an exceptionally high level of satisfaction. 　This time in particular, the breakfast—renewed since this spring—was outstanding. In contrast to the gorgeous French dinner, it’s a simple Japanese-style meal, but each dish is truly delicious. They’ve also changed how they cook the rice, and the finishing bowl topped with dashi was superb. 　I’m already looking forward to being impressed again on my next visit.

Recently, I had been staying mostly at foreign-owned Resort Hotels, but I was truly impressed by the outstanding balance and high standards in every aspect—service, cuisine, Room quality, and the Onsen. It reminded me of the exceptional level of Japanese hospitality.
