The Hotel itself was very clean, and the staff, service, and location were excellent. However, I saw several guests with tattoos at the pool. I understand that rules vary by Hotel, but since this is a Resort Hotel pool, clearer rules and guidance regarding tattoos would help families feel more comfortable using the facilities. Other than that, my stay was comfortable and I was satisfied overall.

This was my third trip to Miyakojima, but my first time staying overnight here. The building feels a bit dated, as it was built during the bubble era, but it was very well cleaned and felt spotless. One thing I noticed was that the hallway was very hot—probably to save electricity. Being able to take a shower after check-out was extremely helpful, and the staff were great at that time as well. You can see the sunset and even catch a bit of the sunrise—amazing. When I come back to Miyakojima, I will definitely stay here again.

I’ve stayed here so many times I’ve lost count. It’s a Hotel that always makes me feel calm and at ease. This time I debated between Shigira and a large Hotel on Kurima Island, but in the end I chose Tokyu. I’m glad I came to Tokyu. The staff also seem to work together so well, and I really liked that too. Please keep up the great work!!!

Our group of nine across three families stayed for three nights, and it was a clean, spacious Hotel that everyone—from adults to children—could enjoy. It was well stocked with amenities, from essentials to thoughtful extras. We’re planning to visit Miyakojima again next year and would love to stay here again.

I’ve stayed at various villas on Miyakojima, and this was a highly satisfying stay. The first thing I noticed upon arrival was the outstanding design throughout the entire space. Not only the building itself, but also the art and furniture placement were thoughtfully curated, making it comfortable to spend time here from start to finish. These days, many villas highlight ocean views, but this one offers a gajumaru (banyan tree) view. Personally, I’m tired of villas that rely solely on an ocean view while the interior feels like an ordinary house, so it was wonderful to feel the strong commitment to the quality of the space itself. It also felt rare to find an Accommodation like this on Miyakojima. Every angle looked great, and the atmosphere in person was far better than in photos. Judging by price alone, it may seem upscale, but once you stay here, you can truly feel that it’s worth the price. In fact, it made the difference from more budget-focused villas very clear. I’d love to stay again when I visit Miyakojima. Thank you very much.

The staff were very kind, and the beach right in front was beautiful. Since it was my first time, I stayed at a different luxury hotel within the resort the next day. While it had a luxurious feel and was nice, I loved this beach so much that I came back here the following day. The weather was great, and I enjoyed wading into the sea up to my knees—it felt wonderful. Next time, I'll stay at this hotel for a multiple night stay! Having two bedrooms in the room along with a microwave and washing machine was very convenient. The bathtub is only available as an outdoor jacuzzi, so on windy or cold days it might be slightly inconvenient; however, overall my stay was comfortable. I joined the morning walk program where we had perfect weather and even got to enjoy an off-season private experience! The explanations about plants were fascinating, making it both fun and fulfilling. My child kept asking for quizzes repeatedly—thank you for your patience despite causing some trouble! Thank you also for taking us to Alamanda to feed turtles. Although it seemed quiet during off-season with fewer people around, there were surprisingly many children competing over turtle food during feeding time! Unfortunately, adults cannot participate in feeding activities if they go alone since food is not provided for them. This resort is enjoyable even without needing a car; however, having simple meals like rice balls (onigiri), sandwiches or light bento boxes available within the hotel or resort would be fantastic—especially something easy for kids to eat quickly! There are picnic-friendly spots in nearby parks where rice balls would have been perfect... It would be great if such options could be ordered from hotels or made more accessible somehow. Every day now I'm thinking about when I'll get another chance to visit Miyako Island again!

Not suitable for guests looking for a resort experience. Located in the city, it’s very convenient for izakayas, souvenir shops, and convenience stores. It also has a large public bath on the top floor, and the handmade breakfast is very delicious. They also offer local cuisine, so I recommend it. Whenever I come to Miyakojima, I always stay at Peace Island Shiyakusho-dori.

This was my second stay after visiting for the first time last year. Some of this may repeat what I said before, but… It’s a wonderful Hotel. I’ve stayed at all the Shigira Resort properties, and this one is just as good as Shigira’s three flagship Hotels. The room rates are reasonable, the interior is spotless, and the design is stylish and luxurious! The background music—featuring Begin and others—creates an amazing Okinawan atmosphere. The hospitality toward guests is outstanding. All staff were pleasant, and the housekeeping team also greeted us warmly, which made us smile too. The staff at the shop on the first floor were also friendly; they had a great selection of items and stayed open late at night, which was very helpful. It was busy at night as well. We plan to stay at Mirage in summer. And next year, we definitely want to visit Please Bay Marina again. My wife also said that from a woman’s perspective it feels luxurious and beautiful, and she was very satisfied. The breakfast buffet is delicious too.

It was absolutely wonderful. The Room was very clean, and it was perfect for staying with children. The washing machine and bathroom were also spotless, making the stay extremely comfortable and easy.

The staff were wonderful, and I felt comfortable throughout my stay. From the Room, I could enjoy views of the Irabu Bridge and beautiful sunsets, and the view from the infinity pool was outstanding. The restaurant on the first floor of the Hotel was delicious for both dinner and breakfast—I was very satisfied. The location is great, with convenient access to sightseeing spots around Miyakojima. It was also a big help that I could use Times Car (car sharing) at the Hotel. The views, food, service, and location all exceeded my expectations. This is a Hotel I definitely want to stay at again when I visit Miyakojima.

I stayed for three nights. The building itself may be a little old, but the Room, washbasin area, toilet, and bath were all clean and well maintained. There was also a large public bath, which was convenient. Everyone at the front desk was very helpful. I left my key each time I went out, and even with frequent comings and goings they always responded warmly, which I appreciated. There was also a spacious parking lot right next to the Hotel, making it easy to park. You could even see a bit of the ocean from the Room! Above all, because it is located in the city center, it was very convenient for dining and shopping. I would like to stay again next time.

This was our first trip with three cousins. Since each of us had different things we wanted to do and we planned to eat dinner out, we chose this Hotel. The exterior and front desk feel a bit dated, but once we entered the Room, it had been renovated and was very comfortable. We were on a high floor, and while looking out at the ocean from the balcony, we spotted a sea turtle—so lucky! We had breakfast at the buffet in the neighboring Hotel, and it was excellent. Amazing value for money.

We truly enjoyed our stay as a family thanks to the excellent location—close to town and with a private beach. Thank you very much. Cats may come into the garden, which we found soothing, but guests who are not comfortable with cats may want to be aware of this in advance.

We traveled with my son’s family and looked for a Room where we could all stay together. The Room was spacious and had a jacuzzi, which everyone enjoyed. The dinner course was also excellent, with very tender meat. The only drawback was that there was no washing machine in the Room. There was a coin laundry, but we had to keep track of the time and go pick up our laundry, which made it hard to fully relax. Since this is a Resort Hotel with many beachgoers, I hope this can be improved.

We stayed for three nights starting August 9. My birthday fell during our stay, and we truly appreciate the wonderful surprise with towel art and a cake—thank you so much! Due to the typhoon up until the day before, we weren’t very lucky with the weather, but we felt fortunate just to be able to make it to the island. Even in the rain, thanks to the various rental items available, our children enjoyed the pool and the indoor planetarium throughout our stay. We weren’t able to use the rice cooker provided, so it would be great if cooked white rice could be sold in portions by number of cups. We were also very grateful for the breakfast food truck. This was our second stay at Ferris Villa, and it was a perfect visit with nothing to complain about—we’d love to return again. Thank you very much!

Our family of three stayed for 3 nights. Above all, the location—right in front of the ocean—was incredible. It’s set along the coastline that continues from Toguchi Beach, and it’s about a 5-minute walk to Toguchi Beach. It’s also less than a 10-minute drive from Irabu Ohashi Bridge, making it a convenient base for sightseeing. The daytime sea was beautiful, and the starry sky at night was just as amazing. On a morning after rain, we were even treated to the stunning sight of a huge rainbow over the ocean. The time we spent looking out at the sea and rainbow beyond the pool is especially unforgettable. In front of the villa there is also an area that feels like a small private beach. This time we gave up going into the sea due to an approaching tropical depression, but you can borrow pool items, sand-play toys, and life jackets as well. We were told that around typhoons, waves can wash away some of the sand and reduce the beach area. The pool is also just the right size for families to enjoy together. And what we especially loved was the BBQ. We bought our own ingredients and enjoyed lighting charcoal for the first time in a while. Having drinks while BBQing with the ocean right in front of us was unbeatable. The kitchen is stocked with most cooking utensils and basic seasonings, so self-catering is easy. There’s also a water dispenser, complimentary drinks in the refrigerator, plus a washer-dryer and detergent—very convenient for a Multiple Night Stay. Trash can be separated and left by the entrance in the morning for collection. We also appreciated being able to sleep comfortably on proper beds rather than an extra bed even with three people. There are four beds in total, so we were able to recover well from travel fatigue. The staff were very kind as well. This isn’t suited to those looking for full service like a luxury Hotel with staff on-site 24 hours a day, but during staffed hours they responded quickly whenever we needed something. On our last day they even came outside to see us off despite strong winds and heavy rain—we’re very grateful. Since it’s summer there are naturally some insects around, but insect spray and repellents are provided; we recommend setting them up soon after arrival. Geckos are part of island life too (in good humor). Perhaps because priority is given to views, there isn’t much eave overhang; during heavy rain we noticed some noise from raindrops hitting windows. That said, this means truly spectacular views from inside—the window soundproofing is excellent and normally you can barely hear waves indoors at all. If anything could be improved, having mats at both entrances (the front door and terrace) to brush off sand would be even more convenient. This is a villa where you can stay “as if living,” at your own pace. Our whole family was completely satisfied—it was an amazing 3-night/4-day stay!

This was the best Hotel I’ve ever stayed at. The pool, the food, the Room, and the hospitality were all excellent. I’d love to come again.

I was really looking forward to staying again after a long time. The bright room was spotless, and I appreciated that the air conditioner had already set the room to a comfortable temperature at check-in. With a mini kitchen, washer & dryer in the room, and a shower by the parking area, it’s comfortable even for long stays focused on ocean activities. The bathroom and toilet are separate, and the bathtub is spacious enough to stretch out and relax. The refrigerator is also large—plenty of space for drinks and ice. The staff’s hospitality is wonderful. This time we stayed just before a major typhoon, but I was impressed by how sincerely they supported guests who were unsure about visiting the island. It’s a Hotel I love and would definitely like to stay at again.

I originally made a Reservation for four nights, but due to the typhoon, we shortened our stay. Because it was a last-minute schedule change, there may have been food left in the refrigerator, and we may have caused inconvenience for the cleaning staff. The Reservation center staff kindly accommodated the sudden change, and their warm support was very reassuring during an uncertain time. As for the Room, it was spacious and very comfortable, with everything provided—hair dryer, amenities, kitchenware, and more. It was also great to be able to enjoy the drinks in the refrigerator right after arrival. However, every time I used the washing machine, an error “C09” appeared. After checking online, it seemed related to the lid sensor; by opening and closing it again I was able to use it somehow. Just sharing this information for future guests. I also would have liked more time to try the ReFa hair dryer and the Mirable shower. I would love to stay again next time.

Breakfast was served buffet-style, and the food was delicious. It felt homemade.
