We stayed with three children, and thanks to the kind and friendly staff, we were able to relax and enjoy our time. The meals were also very delicious. Thank you very much for taking such great care of us.

It was a property I visited because I decided to stay overnight as it would be late returning from watching a play at Minami-za. My mother was also tired and wanted to sleep early, so she fell asleep immediately. I also took a bath and fell asleep right away. I slept soundly until morning and felt refreshed. It was a very quiet and comfortable property to sleep in. The bath was also spacious and relaxing. It was a property I would like to stay at again.

The location is between Gojo Station and Shijo Station, with excellent access to Kyoto Station and central areas like Karasuma Oike. Since the hotel is newly opened, the facilities are clean. Being Thai-owned, the interior features Thai motifs, and there are playful touches like nostalgic Japanese posters. The room is compact, but the lounge is spacious, and with so many places to visit in Kyoto, it's not an issue. If you are uncomfortable undressing in the toilet, you might want to be cautious. The only disappointment was that the TV did not support mirroring. I was looking forward to watching videos on the hotel's large screen... It's a nice point that you can choose breakfast from Thai, Western, and Japanese cuisine. I chose pho, and it was a gentle taste, perfect for the morning. Perhaps not well-known among Japanese yet, most guests were foreigners. I was very satisfied with the stay at such a reasonable price!

I found this Accommodation while looking for a place with a Japanese-style room where my college friends and I could sleep together, as we were getting together for the first time in over 20 years. It was clean, and the staff were perfectly fine. The large public bath may not be an Onsen, but it was spacious and had an open-air bath and a sauna, which was great. Dinner was a sukiyaki course; the beef was high quality and delicious. It was a great Accommodation that suited our purpose perfectly.

This was a Hotel I’m truly glad I chose to stay at. First of all, the Room was exceptionally clean. Not only did it feel spotless, there were no unpleasant odors at all, and I felt comfortable from the moment I walked in. What impressed me personally were the small items and amenities provided in the Room. Each one felt thoughtfully selected, and I could really sense how much care and attention the owner has put into everything. They weren’t just stylish—they were genuinely practical and easy to use, and I appreciated that level of detail. The bed was also excellent. The mattress had just the right amount of support—not too firm, not too soft—and it suited me perfectly. It was so comfortable that I fell asleep almost immediately. Sometimes when traveling, Hotel beds don’t suit me and it’s hard to sleep, but this time I slept very soundly. I stayed without a pet this time and initially wondered how it would be, but once I arrived those concerns disappeared completely. In fact, even for a regular stay without pets, this is a Hotel I would highly recommend. I’ve stayed at several Hotels in Kyoto, and this one ranked very high for me. Not only was the Room clean, but details you only notice after staying—like what’s provided in the Room and how well you sleep—were outstanding. If I have another chance to visit Kyoto, I’d definitely like to stay here again. Thank you for such a comfortable stay!

No Meals Included. I found this place based on the number of guests, an in-room bath, and its fairly convenient proximity to the station, and it worked well for my stay.

This was my first time staying here. From the very courteous email communication, I had a great impression right away. Check-in was easy, and it’s done at the shop on-site! They even offer a complimentary “shime parfait” at night! I went after dinner. There wasn’t a frying pan in the kitchen, so I went to the front desk (?) to ask, and they kindly lent me one. The hinoki scent in the bath was absolutely wonderful. The size was just right—and even though it was only one night, I used it four times. The location is a bit hard to find, but that’s part of the charm of this traditional house, and the interior is clean as well! I’ll definitely be coming back someday!

Located in the city center of Kyoto, it offers convenient access via Keihan Electric Railway and city buses. The Facility is equipped with the necessary minimum amenities, and it was particularly comfortable as the bath and toilet are completely separate. For dinner, I enjoyed a wine-filled meal at the Fauchon Hotel, and it was very convenient as it felt like returning to the house right next door.

The room was so clean that it seemed like it had just been made. I was satisfied with the bath amenities and the bed. Above all, the staff at the property. When I mentioned that I was going to the Toshiya at Sanjusangendo (Sanjusangendo), they made suggestions to accommodate that, and I was pleased with their thoughtfulness.

A whole house with access to both the first and second floors, well-maintained and very convenient to use. As for the environment around the facility, the affiliated parking lot is a bit far, and the road in front is narrow, making it difficult to park a car. If the bathtub were a little cleaner, it would have been perfect. Even so, it was an accommodation with excellent hospitality.

I stayed at Oriental Kyoto Rokujo during my time in Kyoto. The Accommodation had a calm atmosphere throughout, was very well cleaned, and made for a truly comfortable stay. The guest room was simple yet functional, with a streamlined layout that felt relaxing and allowed me to rest well after a full day of sightseeing on foot. What stood out most was the staff service—kind and attentive without being overbearing—which made the stay feel reassuring. The entire Hotel was quiet, and I think it’s a great place to enjoy the serene pace that feels so characteristic of Kyoto. It’s convenient for both sightseeing and business trips, and it’s a Hotel I’d like to stay at again.

I stayed here while snow was gently falling. It was a huge help that they stored my luggage both before and after check-in. I stayed in Room 203. It’s a room with a balcony overlooking the garden. The room was very spacious, with a latest-model TV, a ReFa showerhead, a wide vanity, and a bathtub with a washing area. The toilet was fully automatic as well—everything was excellent. All amenities were MIKIMOTO. My hair usually feels rough when I use Hotel shampoo, but at this Accommodation it stayed smooth and silky. There is an guests-only lounge, and it was a lovely service that coffee, tea, and more were available freely until midnight. I also appreciated being able to take drinks back to my Room. I had coffee at check-in, and it matched my taste perfectly—really delicious. The breakfast I had been looking forward to was 100/100. I’ve eaten at luxury Hotels before, but this may have been the best I’ve ever had. Everything was wonderful, but what especially stood out were the yuzu-scented okara (unohana), fu dengaku, the white-dashi miso soup, and the dashimaki tamago (rolled omelet). When I mentioned it was my birthday this time, they decorated the guest room beautifully and even offered matcha—such thoughtful hospitality. All staff members were incredibly kind, with such a warm and homey atmosphere that made it easy to talk to them. Watching how warmly they treated other guests also made me feel happy. I think this is the best Accommodation—one that welcomes you warmly whether it’s for a special occasion or not. Next time I visit, I’ll come specifically to enjoy an unhurried Hotel stay. Three women stayed here. The hostess was very friendly, offered helpful advice on various things, and took great care of us. The catered breakfast bento was also delicious. Because it faces a main road, we were worried about noise, but it wasn’t too bothersome. However, it may not be suitable for those seeking complete quiet at the Accommodation. The interior and Facilities were well maintained, and we had a comfortable stay.

This was my first time staying at a whole-house Hotel, and the staff were very kind—the services were excellent. I was also very satisfied with the handwritten letter and the spacious Room.\nHowever, while I was in the bathroom, a foreigner repeatedly tried to force open the front door (security), rattling it over and over. It was frightening to have someone loitering around the entrance, and their behavior was so scary that I had to go through the trouble of chasing them away.\nIt seems they had mistaken the location, but I couldn’t even use the bathroom in peace. At check-in, I would like Hotel staff to always accompany guests and guide them to the house.
