Last summer, after renting a nearby vacation home and visiting Morito Beach, we discovered SCAPES THE SUITE. We made a Reservation because we were drawn to the easy beach access and the property’s atmosphere, and we had been looking forward to our stay. Thanks to you, we were able to enjoy the sea with our family, including our two young daughters. We used the pick-up and drop-off service from Zushi Station, and being greeted by a classic Cedric taxi instantly set a resort mood. We arrived a little early and planned to wait in the lobby, but perhaps because of my IKYU Diamond membership, we were shown to our Room right away. It was the twin “Mandarin Orange.” It felt more spacious than expected, with the Shonan sea right in front of us and Enoshima clearly visible at all times. Due to the weather we only caught a faint glimpse of Mt. Fuji for a moment, but having the ocean always in view was truly soothing. After the concierge kindly showed us around the Room, they helped arrange our one-hour private jacuzzi time (per Room) as well as breakfast time. We were worried about an approaching typhoon, but fortunately it took a course that didn’t affect us much—so we even enjoyed occasional sunshine. Our daughters’ family was able to swim several times, while we grandparents stayed in the Room caring for our 7-month-old grandchild. It was wonderfully relaxing. With children aged three and zero with us, we ate out for dinner; however, the Hotel restaurant also looked very appealing. This time we only had breakfast and lunch here, but next time we would love to try dinner as well. No matter where you look from within this property—the balcony or even from the jacuzzi—the view of the sea never gets old. That scenery itself felt like your greatest hospitality. We also strongly felt how much everyone working there loves Hayama—and loves this Hotel. The pride and care of both the concierge team and those serving at breakfast/the restaurant really came through. We were also delighted by your gift: Genbei’s famous beach sandals. You coordinated sizes and colors for each family member perfectly—our daughters’ family was thrilled. Finally, after receiving an outstanding carrot dressing as well, we headed home feeling refreshed. Not only in summer but in any season, SCAPES is a place where you can truly relax—and we would love to return again. Thank you very much to everyone at the Hotel.

All the staff had wonderful smiles, the art-filled space was relaxing, and the food was excellent—our child was smiling the whole time. We thought it would be even better if children could stay together in a wider variety of Rooms. It became a great summer memory.

It was hot in Kyoto, so I really appreciated how close it was to the station! The Room was clean and I was satisfied, and the staff were very kind, making my stay comfortable.

The staff, the Room, and the meals were all excellent, and I was very satisfied. You can’t see an Okinawa-style coastline from the Hotel, but that was fine since I enjoyed it during the day. Considering the price, it’s a perfect 100/100! I highly recommend this Hotel. It’s a Hotel I’d love to stay at again when I visit Okinawa.

The meals were delicious, and we stayed at a new Hotel at an affordable price.

All of the staff at this Hotel were cheerful and engaging; their hospitality truly made for a relaxing stay. When I mentioned my plan to return via Maibara Station during Japan’s rainy season (known for its mossy beauty), they kindly recommended Seiganji Temple near Maibara Stat

I have visited multiple times, and the staff are always kind and wonderful. We went strawberry picking at a nearby strawberry farm, and the Ishigaki strawberries, especially the Benihoppe variety in season, were delicious. The sushi counter was also incredibly tasty, making i

We heard the pork rib noodle soup was delicious, so my wife and I stayed overnight and had it for lunch. The pork rib noodle soup was excellent, and the beef bowl we ordered as well was also very tasty. We stayed on the Lounge Plan, and after lunch we visited the lounge; both the drinks and light meals were wonderful and delicious. The Japanese set breakfast had many dishes and was very good as well.\nThe service, meals, Room, and view were all outstanding, and my wife immediately asked to come again. It’s about an hour door-to-door from our home, but we will visit again to enjoy a break from everyday life. Thank you very much.

The front desk staff and the breakfast buffet staff were all incredibly friendly with wonderful smiles, making my stay very pleasant. The breakfast was healthy and delicious, with fresh items like dried horse mackerel and cherry tomatoes that I couldn't resist having seconds (l

Everything in the hotel was spotless, the meals were delicious, the hot spring water was exceptional, and the view from our room was stunning. Above all, we were truly moved by the warm hospitality of the staff. Not only did we complete the Jomon Sugi trek, but thanks to our stay here, our trip to Yakushima became an unforgettable memory. Thank you very much. When we visit Yakushima again, samana will be our only choice.

For breakfast, I also enjoyed delicious local specialties. The staff were very courteous, and I had a truly comfortable stay. It was my first time in Hakata, and it became a precious memory thanks to the lovely time I spent here. I was deeply impressed by the outstanding hospital

Of course, dinner was wonderful as well. There was a minor issue with the Room cleaning this time, but it was handled carefully afterward. Aratouto is a quiet place where time passes slowly—a Hotel where you can truly unwind without any pretense. To all the staff who always

We’re repeat guests for the cats, delicious food, and the cozy comfort of having everything you need right in the Room. This time my husband came with us too. The kids were thrilled with the maisonette and the open-air bath. We also love the skincare amenities such as lotion—they’re from a brand we like. We were so happy to finally spend time with the cats again. Since this was our first summer stay, we were told, “You might find stag beetles on the balcony,” and there were so many (surprisingly)! We took some home and are taking good care of them. Thank you for all your thoughtful consideration. Dinner was served at perfect timing—hot dishes hot and cold dishes cold—and my husband really enjoyed how delicious everything was. For breakfast we chose Japanese this time; the clay-pot rice selected by a rice meister was outstanding. Our child asked for seconds again and again. Everything was perfect except that the children’s pajamas we borrowed felt smaller than expected for their size. Thank you as always for your warm welcome—it made for an amazing start to our summer vacation. We’d love to come back again.

Everything we ate was delicious; there were so many options that it felt impossible to try them all—completely satisfying! Since I really wanted to try their coconut pancakes for lunch as well (though we wondered if we'd have room), they turned out so irresistibly delicious th

This was my second stay following last year, and I was reminded once again of how wonderful this Hotel is. Despite it being the same day, I was allowed to check in an hour early, which let me enjoy a relaxing bath sooner and recover from fatigue. The beer during happy hour an

Above all, I love the atmosphere of the large public bath. If you bathe before sunset, sunlight pours in and it’s bright and truly wonderful. Soaking in the open-air bath while listening to Shinkansen announcements as background music is pure happiness, and it lets me forget ev

With my wife’s birthday coming up again this year, we visited Karuizawa, a place filled with memories for the two of us. We were blessed with great weather and enjoyed a relaxing stay—taking walks and cycling around Karuizawa as the autumn leaves began to change, and spending time shopping. We were also very pleased with the thoughtful hospitality from the hotel staff, including a birthday message card, as well as the delicious food, our favorite wine, and the birthday cake. For us as a couple, this is truly a wonderful hotel.

Although I have stayed at many Hotels and Ryokans in Japan and abroad, there are surprisingly few Hotels that I can look back on later and truly feel were a great stay. This time, however, even after more than a month, the wonderful afterglow of the trip still remains. The Room, restaurant, and pool were all impeccably maintained, with thoughtful attention evident everywhere—nothing felt lacking or excessive. A major reason was also the excellent hospitality from the female staff member who welcomed us from check-in. I was also happy that there were no guests being loud or disruptive, and I am truly grateful to have found a Hotel I can return to with a smile and say, “I’m home!”

On our first visit, we were truly impressed by the meals, the Room, and everyone’s warm service and smiles, so we returned again this summer vacation. We also love the loungewear and amenities, and we can genuinely relax both physically and mentally throughout our stay. Each time, we enjoy chatting with the chef while savoring the delicious food. The menu always delights all five senses, leaving us completely satisfied every time. The rental car is also always well maintained, which gives us peace of mind. We’ll be back again soon to see everyone’s smiles.

The hospitality of all the staff was so pleasant—this is a Hotel that makes me want to come back again. On the way home, my daughter and I were already discussing when we should plan our next lunch or stay. We also enjoyed the takeout baked sweets at home. I’d love to see more v
