At check-in, it was probably the same staff member as last time, and they welcomed me warmly again. There were no issues, and I stayed comfortably in a clean Room until check-out. My Room was near the elevator, but it was very quiet—perhaps because the other guests were considerate. However, due to time and energy constraints, I couldn’t use the large public bath again... Next time for sure...!

Kyoto offers many different ways to enjoy your stay depending on the area you choose and the character of each Hotel. This was my first time staying at this Hotel, and it is in a very convenient location just a short distance from Shijo-Karasuma, which can be considered the center of downtown Kyoto. It’s only a few minutes’ walk from the station whether you arrive by Hankyu Railway or the subway. Nearby are places like Goodman Roaster Kyoto and Unzen, as well as many wonderful cafes and coffee shops that have opened over the past few years—just visiting them is enjoyable in itself. Ogaki Shoten (Main Store), with its large and unique selection of magazines and books, is also close by, and Daimaru is within walking distance. There are also grocery supermarkets such as Fresco and Moritaya right nearby, making this a great area for spending time as if you live in Kyoto. Since the Hotel opened in 2019, both the Facilities and Room interiors still feel new and were very comfortable. The Room I stayed in wasn’t particularly large, but the layout was well designed so it didn’t feel cramped. It had a comfortable bed and a fairly large sofa, and the bathroom had a spacious bathtub, which made my stay very relaxing. I stayed on the 4th floor this time, and the view from the window wasn’t great due to nearby apartment buildings; however, that’s common for Hotels in central Kyoto and can’t really be helped. With that in mind, I felt it might even be fine to choose a Room on a lower floor. Breakfast didn’t have an especially wide variety of items, but everything gave me the impression of being properly prepared. I especially liked the large-bean natto. The staff at both reception and breakfast were very polite yet friendly. Overall, I found this to be a very satisfying Hotel. I was impressed that they maintain this level of service at this price point. In Kyoto I usually make hotels around City Hall or west of the Imperial Palace my regular choices, but I would like to add this Hotel to that list as well. A Hotel that is never flashy, yet conveys exceptional quality and refined elegance. The rooms are spacious, and the chairs and beds are extremely comfortable. Instead of a card key, the traditional heavy brass key is actually a nice touch. Amenities are also high-end, including Nespresso and L’OCCITANE. It has a dignified presence unlike design-focused city hotels. I was impressed—it truly lives up to its reputation as a Hotel patronized by the Imperial Household.

I often visit Kamakura. This Hotel is in a great location, and this time I chose a tatami Room, which was very nice. The soba restaurant on the first floor was refined, spacious inside, and the food was delicious. The staff were also very pleasant and helpful. I would like to stay here again.

The Hotel was within walking distance of Hiroshima Station, with excellent access and convenient for both sightseeing and getting around. The interior had a calm, European-style atmosphere, and the lobby felt upscale, making the stay very pleasant. The Room was clean and quiet, so I was able to rest well. This time I booked the No Meals Included Plan, so I didn’t use any dining options, but the breakfast looked delicious and I would have liked to try it if my schedule had allowed. The staff were courteous, and both check-in and check-out were smooth. With a great balance of location, Facility features, and service, it felt like a Hotel with excellent value for money. It’s a Hotel I’d gladly choose again when visiting Hiroshima.

After quite a long time, I finally managed to take a long holiday, so I decided on a solo trip within Japan. After a lot of deliberation, I chose Okinawa. Rather than sightseeing, I wanted to focus on a relaxing “hotel stay,” so I chose Hiramatsu and stayed for two nights. My impressions: The Room was ideal (even beyond what I had imagined), and it felt even better than the photos on the website. The natural sounds and breeze in the quiet surroundings—and perhaps the way the sunlight came in—may have contributed to that feeling. Depending on the Room’s location and type, impressions may vary, but for me it felt like an outstanding location. I visited just after Obon and before Okinawa’s traditional Obon period, so occupancy may have been calmer; as a solo traveler, the timing may have worked out perfectly. Even with slightly cloudy skies, there were still so many stars visible at night—it really impressed me. Seeing something you can’t experience in Tokyo made me genuinely excited. If I had to mention one thing: on the second night’s dinner, it felt like both the menu composition and service were lighter compared with the first night (for example, there were no particular upgrade suggestions on day two; champagne and wine also weren’t poured at the table). That said, it was only that my “solo trip excitement” left me feeling just a little wistful... The younger staff members served us while clearly feeling some nervousness, so perhaps that led to slightly more straightforward service—but since I was alone anyway (and honestly don’t mind being their practice guest), please feel free to do so next time (laugh). I could truly feel everyone’s sincere care throughout my stay, which made me very happy. Most other guests were couples or families with children, but nothing bothered me at all; if anything, I enjoyed my meal and wine while admiring all that happy energy around me. It was wonderful. I’d love to visit again next summer. Thank you very much.

I stayed for a Multiple Night Stay. I was very happy to be upgraded to an available Room. Although the weather wasn’t great, I think the view from the balcony is the best at this Hotel. The staff were cheerful, and I had a wonderful stay. I would like to stay again next time.
