I stayed here at the end of my trip to Hokkaido. The places I stayed before were wonderful as well, but this Tokachigawa Onsen Daiichi Hotel was outstanding. Every dish at the buffet was delicious. I wanted to try more, but I got full and couldn’t eat everything, which I still regret a little. The kamameshi rice was especially good, and the meat was excellent too—in fact, everything I tried tasted great. When I went to the Onsen early in the morning (just after 5 a.m.), I saw staff baking bread. I had some at breakfast, and it was also very tasty. The moor Onsen had a gentle natural scent and a wonderfully silky feel on the skin; one night wasn’t enough. This time I couldn’t take my time sightseeing around Tokachi, so I would love to come back again next year. More than anything, what left me with such a great impression of the Hotel was an employee at the souvenir shop “Tamatebako.” The trainee wearing a training name badge had an amazing smile and provided excellent service. When I told them how pleasant they were, they responded with another lovely smile. Of course it comes down to personal qualities as well, but it also made me feel that the Hotel’s management philosophy must be excellent for staff like this to grow here. All of the other staff were wonderful too, and it reminded me that not only the Onsen and food but also people’s hospitality is what truly shapes a trip. Thank you for helping me make such great memories—I would like to stay again next year as well.

Although we stayed for only one night, it was a wonderful Accommodation with thoughtful services exactly where we hoped they would be. We could feel the attention to detail everywhere—an all-inclusive in-Room minibar, three kinds of cold drinks prepared at the large public bath, an impressive umeshu collection with 100 varieties (a paradise for umeshu lovers like us), and grilled fish for the Japanese breakfast that you can choose from three options. All of the staff were very cheerful and the overall service quality was excellent. In particular, we were truly moved by the attentive hospitality of the foreign male staff member who took care of us at dinner. We were also surprised by how fluent his Japanese was. Dinner was delicious as well, and we appreciated the focus on local ingredients. The Senju hot pot made with Masuda beef was wonderfully tender and rich. From check-in to check-out, we spent a genuinely relaxing time—simply gazing at the view from our Room in the rain and enjoying forest bathing in a private setting. It was an ideal vacation that helped us forget everyday life and feel refreshed both physically and mentally. If I may mention one thing, incense, fragrant olive flower arrangements, and stick diffusers were placed throughout the building. Even though we came to enjoy such clean air in this area, the scent felt a bit too strong. While you promote sustainability as an Accommodation, it felt somewhat contradictory—and disappointing—that even items like shampoo, body soap, and towels are fragranced. Some guests may enjoy fragrance, but others are sensitive to it as well; I would appreciate it if you could take this into consideration going forward. Thank you very much for a wonderful stay.

Our family of four stayed in a room with a private open-air bath, and it was amazing—even putting it mildly. The meals, baths, and views were all excellent. The food was generous and delicious, and at night we enjoyed a sky full of stars. The bath left our skin silky smooth—especially the morning bath, which I highly recommend. This was our first stay, but it’s an Accommodation we definitely want to visit again. Thank you very much.

I visited after a long time. I could only book the Connect Twin before, but since it was a weekday, I was able to stay in the Wide View Twin again. The large windows offering expansive views of the sea and city were wonderful! The Room also had a massage chair. The public bath was as great as ever, providing a relaxing experience. The shampoo and other amenities were different from before, but they didn’t cause any dryness or irritation, which was reassuring. There was also a Refa hair dryer available. Please note that there is no sauna for women in the morning. Breakfast offers a choice between Japanese and Western set meals, with unlimited refills of salad, rice, bread, coffee, etc., making it very satisfying. It seemed like most guests chose the Japanese set meal; I opted for the Western one and appreciated that freshly grilled sausages were brought to my table when they ran out initially. The Himi Udon noodles were also delicious! Parking is convenient if you arrive early enough—you can park on Hotel’s 1st floor or at the flat lot across from it. Even if those are full, the municipal parking isn’t too far away either. It was an excellent stay with great value for money and left me feeling very satisfied overall. The staff provided exceptionally pleasant service throughout my visit. Oh yes—the complimentary coffee service on the 1st floor is much appreciated! Because of this amenity, having only powdered tea in Room wasn’t an issue at all. Thank you very much!

Welcome drinks included coffee, soft drinks, and delicious onion soup. In the evening, wine and snacks were also available. The meals were served buffet-style and were satisfying. It would have been nice to have condiments on the table. The room and bath were well-cleaned, making for a comfortable stay. This is one of the accommodations I would like to revisit.

There are large TVs in both the bedroom and the living room, and my mother was thrilled to be able to watch the Asian Games!! We were truly impressed by how thoughtfully everything was arranged—down to the TV placement and easy-to-use amenities—as if our movements had been anticipated in advance. After a 4-hour journey, staying at this Accommodation made all our fatigue disappear! Breakfast was also amazing—they cooked tamagoyaki fresh on the spot, and it was incredibly delicious. The bath was great too, so we slept soundly that night. We’ll be back.

I came here to relax. I love camping too, but I really wanted to unwind, and I’d been wanting to visit because it seemed like I could enjoy both—so we stayed in Snow Peak’s JYUBAKO. It was so wonderful that I want to make it a must-do once a year. My husband was very satisfied as well, and we definitely want to come back. Dinner was great, of course, and breakfast was also delicious—we were full and completely satisfied. Thank you for a wonderful time.

The Room was spacious, and I was able to relax comfortably. The meals were also delicious. I was satisfied with the Hotel amenities and in-room facilities. I would like to stay again if I have the opportunity.

We stayed in a suite. We were very satisfied with the size of the Room and the terrace, and the peaceful rural view was truly soothing. We could also see the stars clearly at night. We enjoyed the welcome drink and sweets, which raised our expectations for dinner—and they did not disappoint. The course meal served in our Room was wonderful, with the staff kindly explaining each dish, and even the chef came to greet us in person. Everything looked beautiful, but it tasted exactly as amazing as we hoped—perhaps even better. I ate each dish in genuine amazement. It made me wish we could casually enjoy this cuisine nearby whenever we wanted. As for dessert at dinner, we were surprised by both the canelé and the chocolate—the canelé for its delicious flavor, and the chocolate for its unique texture! It’s not hard; there’s something special inside. I truly hope you’ll try it. Breakfast was very filling. The egg dish was so luxurious that I couldn’t help blurting out “Wow!” I felt happy thinking, “I ate so many vegetables!” The bread was homemade and delicious, and they kindly wrapped up what we couldn’t finish to take with us. With meals like this included, we looked at each other as a family and said how unbelievably affordable this Accommodation Fee felt. We were also happy to purchase a lovely wood plate as a souvenir—it made for a wonderful stay overall. Thanks to the warm hospitality of all the staff, it became a trip where we lost track of time, and meeting the chef’s kind personality as well made us deeply grateful for such delicious food and such special moments. Thank you very much for taking such great care of us.

Upon arriving at Omoide Roman-kan by car, staff were already there and guided us to the parking area. Their service was polite and pleasant, leaving a great first impression. In the lobby, you can enjoy as many drinks as you like. There were draft beer, sparkling wine, and sake as well. It’s available not only at check-in but also after the baths, and they also had ice pops. No matter what you have, there are no extra charges. The meals offered a wide variety of dishes, all of them delicious. It was wonderful to be able to enjoy local specialties. Here too, no matter how much alcohol you drink, there is no additional fee. The Room was a twin Room, very spacious and spotless. The sofa and cushions were perfect for relaxing comfortably. The baths were excellent as well—the tea open-air bath felt amazing. It’s also great that there is a separate riverside open-air bath. Large public bath before dinner, riverside open-air bath after dinner… I even went in both before and after breakfast. The massage chairs were free to use too. This was my first time staying at an all-inclusive Accommodation, and it was truly exceptional—everything was taken care of for us. I would love to stay again.

We stayed to celebrate our sons’ school entrance and to unwind after the hectic start of our new routine. The ocean was right in front of us, the property was spotless, and above all, the food was delicious—we were truly satisfied! I haven’t often found really good sashimi in Boso, but dinner here was excellent!! We stayed for three nights as a family of three. Above all, the location—right in front of the ocean—was incredible. The villa sits along the coastline that continues from Toguchi Beach, and it’s about a 5-minute walk to Toguchi Beach. It’s also less than a 10-minute drive from Irabu Ohashi Bridge, making it a convenient base for sightseeing. The daytime sea was beautiful, and the starry sky at night was amazing too. On a morning after rain, we even saw a huge rainbow over the ocean—an unforgettable view. The time we spent looking out at the sea and rainbow beyond the pool was especially memorable. There’s also a spot in front of the villa that feels like a small private beach. This time we decided not to swim due to an approaching tropical depression, but you can borrow pool items, sand-play toys, and life jackets. We were told that around typhoons, waves can wash away some of the sand and reduce the beach area. The pool is just the right size for families to enjoy together. And what we loved most was the BBQ. We bought our own ingredients and enjoyed lighting charcoal for the first time in ages. Having drinks while BBQing with the ocean right in front of us was unbeatable. The kitchen is well equipped with cooking utensils and basic seasonings, so self-catering is easy. There’s also a water dispenser, complimentary drinks in the fridge, and a washer-dryer with detergent—very convenient for longer stays. Trash can be sorted and left by the entrance in the morning for collection. We also appreciated being able to sleep comfortably on regular beds rather than an extra bed even with three people. There are four beds in total, so we were able to rest well and recover from travel fatigue. The staff were very kind as well. It’s not full-service like a luxury hotel with 24-hour staffing, but during staffed hours they responded quickly whenever we needed something. On our last day they even came outside to see us off despite strong winds and heavy rain—we’re truly grateful. Since it’s summer there are some insects as expected, but insect spray and repellents are provided; we recommend setting them up soon after arrival. Geckos are part of island life too (in a good way). Because priority seems to be given to views, there isn’t much eave overhang; during heavy rain we noticed some raindrop noise against windows at times—but in return, the view from inside is absolutely stunning. The windows have good sound insulation overall; normally you can barely hear waves indoors at all. If anything could be improved, having mats at the entrance or terrace door to brush off sand would be even more convenient. This is a villa where you can stay “as if living,” at your own pace.
