Enjoy delightful conversations with the friendly owner and spend time with adorable cats. Such a charming accommodation is truly rare! The carefully prepared breakfast, both Japanese and Western styles, was absolutely delicious and impressive! The room was comfortable, and the bed provided a great night's sleep. Unfortunately, the weather didn't allow us to use the hammock this time, but next time I’d love to relax on the terrace or stargaze. I will definitely visit again! Thank you so much!

The meals and the baths are both great. On the second floor, canned beer and soft drinks are sold at an unmanned stand for incredibly reasonable prices! Bottled tea is 150 yen. A can of chuhai is 200 yen. Canned beer for 250 yen is very reasonable for a Ryokan. It really shows the spirit of this Ryokan!

This is a repeat stay. I believe this is the nicest Accommodation on Amami Oshima. The ocean is right in front of you, and you can even see sea turtles while snorkeling. You can also see the ocean from the bathtub, and there is a kitchen for self-catering. We will come again next year.

Arriving in Nagahama after sightseeing at Ishiyamadera past 5:30 PM and leaving the Hotel at 8 AM the next morning for the Chikubushima Cruise, we couldn't relax as much as we wanted. However, the Room was a beautifully renovated storehouse, providing a cozy and comfortable stay. Although we didn't have time to use the sauna, the large bathtub in the Room allowed us to unwind and recover from our travels. The Spanish bar recommended to us offered delicious wine and food, leaving us very satisfied. We wish we could have stayed longer!

The facility was very clean, possibly because it was new, and the location was excellent. The room was spacious, and having two refrigerators was very convenient. While it was very clean and nice, there were quite a few minor issues, though not major ones. There were only salt, pepper, and pink salt as seasonings, with no oil or other condiments. Due to the impact of the typhoon, the wind was strong, and we couldn't use the outdoor area, but the BBQ cooking utensils were unsanitary, and the tongs were melted and unusable. There was no dryer, which would have been nice to have. The lighting in the living room was dim. If it's for ambiance, I would prefer it to be dimmable. The fittings of the entrance and windows were poor, requiring considerable force to open or needing a knack to open and close. The overall layout wasn't very good, and it was inconvenient to have to walk from one end to the other to move between the bath and the jacuzzi. There was a pizza oven and BBQ grill outside, but they were just for show. There was no roof or anything outside, so it was directly exposed to rain, wind, and direct sunlight, making it mostly unusable. Despite these minor points, the facility's overall hardware quality, excellent location, and the unparalleled view from Kouri Island were so good that these issues didn't matter. It's a place I definitely want to stay at again on my next trip to Okinawa.

We stayed as a group of three families. We borrowed a BBQ set, which was fully equipped, so all we had to prepare were the ingredients and seasonings. We enjoyed a comfortable BBQ in the spacious garden. In addition to the garden, there was a balcony with hammocks and sofas where we could relax and enjoy the beautiful starry sky at night (the countless shining stars were truly stunning!). The refrigerator was stocked with complimentary mineral water as well as various juices and coffee available for purchase, which was very convenient. The accommodation was clean and well-maintained. The bathroom area provided bath towels, hairdryers, body lotion, cream, disposable toothbrushes, as well as a washing machine with detergent and fabric softener available for use. The first floor featured a kitchen-dining-living area along with a Japanese-style room; it was very spacious and comfortable for everyone to relax together. This time we searched for an accommodation that could host many people including babies while allowing us to enjoy BBQs together—and we found this wonderful place! It gave us unforgettable memories. We would love to stay here again when visiting Awaji Island in the future. Thank you so much!

We used this place for our family’s first glamping trip. The dome-shaped tent was beautiful with an ocean view, and it came with a shower and toilet. We also enjoyed the Onsen, and the kids were thrilled. We would definitely like to stay again. Thank you very much.

I stayed in a mixed dormitory Room with bunk beds. In addition to the front lobby, there were other spaces where I could relax, and every interior had a stylish atmosphere—staying only one night felt like a waste. Thanks to that, I was able to see Mt. Fuji at sunset. The staff—a kind handsome man and a cute woman—were very attentive, and it was an Accommodation where I felt safe even as a solo traveler. Thank you very much. If I may be greedy, it would be nice to have an electric fan in the shared washbasin area outside the shower room—just my personal thought. Overall, I was very satisfied with this Accommodation.

I had dietary requirements, and after informing them in advance, they accommodated me with great care and attention to detail. Every staff member provided excellent service, and I had a very comfortable stay. Thank you very much. This is an Accommodation I definitely want to visit again!

A year ago, due to heavy rain, we had to cancel our stay. Amid the lingering summer heat, we revisited after a year. This time, we had the pleasure of staying at a wonderful accommodation for one day. Renting an entire house with a view of Nara's mountains as the backdrop to the dry landscape garden, enjoying an evening beer was the perfect way to conclude summer. For dinner, there was a variety of alcoholic beverages available, and the shabu-shabu by the hearth was absolutely delicious. At night, gazing at a sky full of stars marked the end of our day. Knowing that this accommodation is run by your family made it feel very warm and welcoming during our stay. It was such happiness to spend a day doing nothing but relaxing peacefully— a truly special experience at Sasayuri-an. Thank you so much! We will definitely return again!

We visited with my daughter’s family—four generations in total. As soon as you enter, the ocean is right in front of you through the large glass windows. There was a big pool, and everything was set up for a BBQ. The kids never got bored—they ran around the living room and went up to the second floor, having a great time until it was time to leave. It’s a very clean Facility, and the location is perfect. We’re already saying we’d love to stay again. Please note that there are no seasonings or plastic wrap provided, so bring what you need. Also, the rice cooker was unusual—it’s the type where you add water to the outer pot, which was hard to figure out. I think it would be helpful to have written instructions. Thank you very much for taking care of us during our stay.

The entire property, inside and out, was very well cleaned. The Room was spotless. We were told the bed mattress had been upgraded, and it was extremely comfortable—I slept great. The Room also has high ceilings, and the air conditioning was very comfortable. The amenities were so plentiful we couldn’t use them all. The towels were great quality too. The small shelf next to the sink was especially helpful. Since we did laundry, having plenty of towels was perfect. There’s also a dryer—nothing to complain about. For cooking for yourself, everything you could need is provided! There were even items you don’t usually find at other Accommodations, so it felt like being at home. Thoughtful touches stood out as well, like a magnetic towel hanger. I’ve stayed in dozens of whole-house rentals, and the attention to detail in what’s provided here is outstanding. The outdoor pool was amazing too. Bugs didn’t bother us at all—in fact, it made us wonder if there are really this few bugs on Miyakojima. The location is excellent: close to downtown and also very convenient for Irabu Island, which we love. If I had to make a request: the body soap felt quite slippery and didn’t rinse off well, so it didn’t feel like I’d properly washed; and considering taking dishes poolside, it would be reassuring to have some unbreakable tableware as well. A full-length mirror would also be appreciated. Among the places I’ve stayed in Okinawa, this ranks right up there as one of the most comfortable (top one or two). We will definitely stay again!

The Room was clean, the bathroom was spacious with a reheating function, creating an amazing space! The bedding was so comfortable that I wondered which mattress it was—it was truly excellent! Both the morning sunlight and the nighttime tranquility allowed me to feel nature deeply and provided great relaxation!

We used this place for our graduation trip. They helped us by preparing the barbecue fire and warming up the Room, which was very helpful! The Room was clean, and we had a great time! It became a wonderful memory.

The Room was spacious, and the kitchen was also large enough and very clean. Most tableware and utensils were provided, so we hardly needed to bring anything. The refrigerator had 2L of water and seasonings (salt, pepper, sauce, soy sauce), which we were able to use. About 30 minutes to an hour after checkout, a staff member called to let us know we had left something behind. Since it was difficult for us to return, they arranged to mail it to us. We truly appreciate their prompt and courteous assistance. Thank you very much. We would love to stay again if we have the opportunity!

The accommodation cost was affordable, so I was honestly a bit worried before using it, but it turned out to be an extremely satisfying stay. The space was ample, and every room was clean, which is why I gave the highest rating. Additionally, there were two baths available, allowing me to enjoy bathing without worrying about time. I rated the customer service and hospitality slightly lower because I forgot to purchase oil and the nearest supermarket is a 30-minute drive away. It would be helpful if the website listed what items are provided in the room (the outdated website also added to my concerns). However, everything else was excellent. I will definitely use this accommodation again!

My check-in was late due to the ferry schedule, but they kindly accommodated me. In the living room, guests were happily chatting with the hosts! On the day I left, they saw me off even in the heat and took a commemorative photo with me! I had a very comfortable stay and would love to come again! Thank you very much!

I have experienced almost all luxury vacations in Japan, but the support here is undoubtedly the best in the country. We ended up staying on a day when a severe cold wave hit, and upon mentioning the cold, they immediately went out to purchase and set up a heater for us. Despite being a large facility, it was impeccably clean with no complaints about cleanliness. Even though it was a vacation stay, their thorough support allowed us to feel at ease during our accommodation. In contrast to another nearby new facility called N ○○tami where even the main power for the sauna wasn’t turned on and inquiries were poorly handled—making it impossible to use the sauna—this place responded promptly to everything we needed. The staff quality here is comparable to that of butlers at The Ritz Hotel. It’s clear that the owner is very competent. The location is also wonderful and provided an excellent change of pace. Thank you so much! On particularly cold days, having heaters in each room would be even better; however, during daytime hours, sunlight streamed in beautifully and kept us warm enough.

I have stayed at NIPPONIA in other locations before, but we chose this Accommodation because it is close to Chichibugahama Beach. It seems well suited for longer stays, with a spacious kitchen that was very easy to use. The two-story maisonette layout also provided plenty of privacy; the three of us stayed as a family and each of us could relax at our own pace. We could walk to Chichibugahama Beach, and although it was extremely hot, we enjoyed morning and evening walks. Since dining options are a bit far away, it was slightly inconvenient without a car. It might be nice if in-Room dining were available as an option as well. This time we also ordered an optional cake, and they kindly consulted with us from the planning stage, making it a wonderful birthday and trip with great memories. I would love to come back and take it easy again in another season.

This was my first time staying here, and the Facility was well equipped, so I had a very comfortable stay. I was able to forget about work and relax while watching the sunset and sunrise, and I truly felt refreshed. I was also impressed by the beauty of the Seto Inland Sea as seen from the cabin. I’ve been to various glamping sites, but so far this is the best. The only reason I deducted one point is that the shower area in the bathroom is a bit small. Next time, I’d like to try a Multiple Night Stay. Thank you very much.
