I chose this Accommodation based only on the cost and Reviews, but the Onsen and meals were excellent.

We stayed for a Multiple Night Stay to climb Mt. Norikura and visit Kamikochi. The location was excellent—just a short walk to the bus terminal—so we’d like to stay here again for our next hike to Nishiho Maruyama! The Hida beef teppanyaki dinner was absolutely delicious. Thank you for your hospitality.

Due to a typhoon, I had to change my pre-hike accommodation at short notice, and I’m glad I stayed here—the Onsen was wonderful, and I was able to rest well for the hike the next day. They also let me bathe after the hike, which was fantastic! If I have the chance, I’d love to stay again.

I have been longing for the autumn leaves of Lake Chuzenji (Chūzenji) for 10 years. Moreover, that time is my birthday! But it's so hard to get a reservation. This time, when I happened to check, it was available!? Surely there was a last-minute cancellation. I hurriedly made a reservation. All the staff at the property were smiling and cheerful, with excellent hospitality. The futon was so fluffy, I couldn't help but dive in! The bath was amazing, and the food was excellent. I was surprised at how delicious the Nikko pork was. I thought Tokyo X was supreme, but this was great too! As soon as I got home, I made a soy milk hot pot with Tokyo X. It was so delicious! The recommended sake was also very tasty, and even my wife, who doesn't usually drink sake, gulped it down. Breakfast refills were free, and I ended up having three bowls. I woke up early to take a bath, photographed the full bloom of autumn leaves while basking in the morning sun, and took another bath until just before checkout... I think I went in about five times in total? The water was truly wonderful, and I could stay in it forever. It seems to have become very popular after being featured on TV. I was really happy to be able to stay. Thank you very much.

The staff and accommodation were exceptional, filled with thoughtful care and attention. Originally a private villa, it has been converted into a full rental-style accommodation. We chose a meal-inclusive plan, and while the portions were more than we could usually finish, the food was so delicious that we tried our best to eat it all... though we did leave a little (apologies!). On the checkout day, it was cold with snow on the ground. The staff and owner kindly brought tire chains for safety, which amazed us with their kindness. Fortunately, our rental car had winter tires, so we didn’t need them. Overall, this was an outstanding accommodation featuring incredible hospitality, state-of-the-art appliances, and an onsen!

This time, I stayed with a friend. Due to the earthquake, there were fewer tourists, so the Onsen town felt a bit quiet, but the Accommodation had a warm, homey atmosphere and the staff were kind, making it very comfortable to stay. The meal was my first irori kaiseki dinner; it was delicious and very filling. However, during our Onsen-hopping, several places were closed, which was the only disappointment.

Located in a quiet and scenic area slightly away from the Onsen town, the building is old but well-maintained and clean. Both breakfast and dinner are delicious and satisfying. The bath is very warming, and I could feel positive effects on my body. Although bathing is available only until 8 AM, I had no complaints. The 10-tatami Room comes with a toilet, allowing for a relaxing stay with check-in at 1 PM. I would love to visit again.

We stayed as four adults while returning home with my mother, who uses a wheelchair. We made a Reservation for a kaiseki course in a special Room with an Onsen. From check-in to check-out, the staff were outstanding. Not only did we have no complaints, we were able to relax in complete comfort. The Onsen had both an indoor bath and an open-air bath, and following the sommelier’s recommended way of bathing left our skin silky smooth. At dinner, we enjoyed sake as well as beer. When we couldn’t decide what to choose, a staff member knowledgeable about sake came over and carefully explained each label, helping us find recommendations that matched our preferences. The Room was spacious and spotless. The amenities were excellent, and our whole family was very satisfied. My mother had suffered a subarachnoid hemorrhage two years ago, so I was worried about how much she would be able to enjoy the stay due to aftereffects. However, she said the food was delicious and ate happily. The in-room Onsen—fed by the same water as the large public bath—was also wonderful for her with family support, and she was very pleased. She bathed twice: at night and in the morning. It certainly wasn’t cheap, but it was an experience that exceeded its price in satisfaction.

The wood-burning stove was a real winter highlight. With the seasonal snowfall, we were able to enjoy a truly magical atmosphere. The BBQ gazebo was very cold, but it was spacious and had sunken seating like a kotatsu, so we could relax and enjoy ourselves. The bed in the bedroom was comfortable, and it was nice to have a side table next to it. I gave the bath 4 stars because it felt a bit small—though that’s probably because I’m big; I think it would be fine for women and children. Also, on the last morning (maybe due to freezing), there was no hot water. Since I take a quick shower in the morning as well as at night, that part was a little disappointing. As for the Facility rating of 4 stars, I think it can’t really be helped: the firewood for the stove was quite thin, so we had to add logs frequently or it seemed like it might go out. Also, one of the gazebo cushions was thin (my hips started to hurt), while another one was large and thick—I wish they were both the same size. That said, everything else—the view, atmosphere, wood-burning stove, BBQ gazebo, and bedroom-was excellent. I’d love to visit again. Thank you!

The bath features an Onsen with ultrasonic baths, open-air baths, saunas, and more, providing a very relaxing experience. When my return train schedule was unexpectedly moved earlier, breakfast was originally from 7 AM but they kindly prepared it earlier so I could eat before leaving. Thank you very much. I would love to stay here again next time.

It looked just like the photos, but seeing it in person, the Room exceeded my expectations, and the IKEA-furnished interior was wonderful!! I also loved that the indoor bath was hotter while the open-air bath was cooler—the open-air bath felt so relaxing, as if it blended into nature. It was such a comfortable stay from start to finish that one night felt like a waste!! Next time I come to Kumamoto, I’d love to stay in this Room for two nights or more!! Thank you very much for such a lovely Accommodation!!

Great food, and the Onsen has a strong petroleum-like mineral scent—very distinctive and amazing. Degawa has visited too. The proprietress is friendly and easy to talk to. Right on the Akita prefectural border, there’s almost nothing around! But that’s exactly what makes it great.

We stayed here because each Room has a free-flowing Onsen bath. Our Room was a Standard Twin, but it was spacious enough for the two of us to relax comfortably. The bathtub was also large enough for two, so we were able to fully enjoy the Onsen. Dinner was an additional charge, but we enjoyed very delicious Hida beef. Some staff spoke only basic Japanese, but there were no issues with the service and it felt refreshingly different. We would like to stay again.

Hirayu Onsen has milky-white, iron-rich waters. After a day of hiking, it warmed us up wonderfully. The open-air bath was especially nice. The meals focused on local specialties, and we were able to enjoy a full range of Gifu delicacies such as Hida beef shabu-shabu, hoba miso, and salmon sashimi. It was supposed to be the standard meal plan, but for us—a couple in our mid-50s—it was more than luxurious enough and very satisfying. As for hospitality, the woman at the front desk, the woman who served our meals, and the man were all friendly and warm. It’s also convenient—about a 5-minute walk to the Hirayu Bus Terminal for buses to Kamikochi. We had a wonderful trip.

We stayed two days after the memorable grand opening. The Facility, amenities, and meals were all of excellent quality, and we were very satisfied. As it was right after opening, there were a few moments when the staff seemed slightly inexperienced, but we received heartfelt hospitality that more than made up for it, and it became a wonderful memory for our whole family.

There were so many places I wanted to explore, and since this Accommodation near Lake Towada looked like it had delicious meals, I made a Reservation.^^ Every staff member was warm and welcoming, and I had a very comfortable stay. The food was outstanding—just as the Reviews said! I regret eating ramen at a weird time... The portions are very generous, so I recommend arriving really hungry (;_;) I was also lucky to be able to use the bath privately—it was spacious and relaxing. If I have the chance to visit Aomori again, I’d love to stay here again. Thank you very much!

This is a secluded riverside Accommodation deep in the mountains, with the soothing sound of the river. Dinner was delicious. It was my first time trying basashi (horse sashimi), and it was tender and very tasty. Every dish was carefully prepared, and my spouse and I kept saying, “This is so good,” as we ate. The bath was wonderful—I went in three times. In the early morning, we visited Hagoromo Falls near the Accommodation. The waterfall twists into multiple layers like draped feather robes, and it’s truly impressive. You’ll climb uphill for about 10 minutes at first, but after that it becomes flat. I highly recommend going.

The Italian cuisine is outstanding. The view is flawless. The staff’s hospitality is excellent. The only area for improvement is the lighting from the restaurant to the Room at night.

This was my first stay since the reopening. Everything was very clean except for the large public bath area, but there were a few drawbacks. There isn’t much signage inside the building (on walls, etc.), so it was hard to find the large public bath at first. The lettering on the shampoo and other bottles is small, which may be difficult for older guests to read at a glance. Perhaps because fashion tattoos are allowed in the large public bath, there were some inconsiderate guests—for example, leaving belongings in the washing area to reserve spots, or soaking in the tub without tying up long hair and brushing their teeth for a long time. It was unpleasant to bathe with people who don’t follow basic public bathing etiquette. The milky sulfur hot spring water felt wonderful, but it was disappointing that the open-air bath had fallen leaves and looked unclean. The welcome coffee was delicious. The Western-style meals were also excellent! I really appreciated that soft drinks and alcoholic beverages at dinner were all-you-can-drink and included in the Accommodation fee. The Room had been renovated and was very clean! The key card system and air conditioning are new and comfortable. However, it wasn’t obvious that the light switch is on the bedside table next to the bed, so I think an explanation would help. It’s also nice that the in-room refrigerator is a two-door type. Since there’s only a built-in place by the sink to hang wet towels, I wished there were a towel-drying rack like many Accommodations have. If three people stay in a twin Room, no extra bed is provided, so this time we stayed in a king Room and slept side by side together. That kind of setup can be fun once in a while. The bed was very comfortable. The staff were also very kind and helpful overall. All things considered, it’s a wonderful Hotel that I would like to stay at again.

More and more Accommodations that welcome dogs have been appearing in recent years, and I stay at various private rental homes around Japan a few times a year. Among them, JADE GROUP’s Accommodation is outstanding in every way (this was my third stay including other JADE properties). The stylish exterior, interior design, and furnishings; the more-than-generous space and openness; and the spacious bathroom were all clean and made for a very comfortable bath time. I loved the overall simple yet luxurious atmosphere. The kitchen appliances were fully equipped, and having a Dyson vacuum cleaner plus a washer-dryer permanently installed was extremely helpful for someone like me who is a bit particular about cleanliness. With such excellent Facilities, I did wish there were at least basic amenities provided as well. From the large living-room windows, you can enjoy views of mountains and rural scenery. In this quiet setting with complete privacy from others, we were able to relax at our own pace—and it still didn’t feel like enough time—so if possible, I recommend a Multiple Night Stay.
