This was my second stay. I stayed for one night with the goal of relaxing and unwinding away from everyday chores, work, and everything else. I really love the quiet, calming space—there’s everything you need and nothing unnecessary. The place is also very well cleaned, so I can stay comfortably without any stress. The meal (this time pork shabu-shabu) was very filling. This time I brought a little sashimi and some snacks, and had the somen noodles to finish the shabu-shabu as breakfast the next morning. The broth was incredibly delicious, and while both the meat and vegetables were great, the onions in particular were sweet and amazing. On the drive home, we ended up chatting excitedly about coming back again next autumn (laughs). In short, I highly recommend this place to anyone looking to spend a “luxury” getaway doing nothing but relaxing at a slow pace.

The food, the massage treatment, the Onsen, the clean Room, and the warm hospitality of the owner and his wife—everything was outstanding, and we were completely satisfied. I’ve had massages near my workplace before, but a professional treatment and technique are on a completely different level. Thank you very much. We will definitely come again.

It was a wonderful villa. Mount Fuji was right in front of us, and we could see it clearly thanks to the great weather! The meals were all delicious, and we were very satisfied! We brought our dog along, and they had so much fun playing around. We would love to stay here again. Thank you very much!

I chose this Accommodation for my boyfriend’s birthday trip. It was my first stay here, and it far exceeded my expectations. Above all, the staff’s service was truly outstanding, and I was moved by every thoughtful gesture. The property has the charming presence of a grand traditional Japanese house, and the garden is beautifully maintained. We enjoyed a luxurious time dining at a relaxed pace while looking out over the garden. The basashi (horse sashimi) in particular was the best I’ve ever had—absolutely unforgettable. The Room was spacious and spotless, very comfortable, and the view from the window was wonderful. The building also has delightful surprises and playful touches that even first-time guests can enjoy, which kept me excited throughout our stay. They also offer an excellent selection of sake, so I especially recommend this Accommodation to sake lovers. It was one of the most memorable places I’ve ever stayed—completely satisfying in every way. I will definitely return.

From June 28 to 30, just after the typhoon and the end of the rainy season, we were able to arrive in Miyako safely and this was our second stay at Ferris. We were upgraded to a twin-bed Room for our family of three, and it also happened to be my wife’s birthday. The cake and bed decorations were wonderful surprises, making our first trip back to Miyakojima in two years truly memorable. Thank you very much to all the staff. Coming back from snorkeling and slipping straight into the private pool in our Room felt amazing—we could have stayed in forever while looking out at the mangroves. We enjoyed San’s shabu-shabu in our Room, and everything was delicious right down to the soba at the end. Next time, we’d love to try lunch as well! We look forward to staying with you again.

This was my first stay, and just as everyone says, it was a truly wonderful Accommodation. The food was delicious, the Onsen water was silky-smooth, the staff were great, everything in the fridge was free, and the price was reasonable. The view was beautiful and very relaxing. Also, since I love drinks, I was thrilled by the wide selection of rice shochu... Thank you very much! I’ll definitely visit again.

The cuisine is on par with Kyoto’s renowned traditional restaurants, and some of the tableware was the same as that used at a certain three-Michelin-star establishment in Kyoto. Whether it was the dishes, the wooden tub in the private bath, or even the utensils for morning yudo

I stayed here as a birthday gift for my sister. We were amazed the moment we entered the Room—not only did you prepare a Room with a view of the five-story pagoda, but you also gifted us sparkling wine to celebrate. My sister was absolutely thrilled. In the lounge, we enjoyed a wide variety of drinks and alcohol, along with visually stunning sweets and carefully crafted dishes. At night, we dined at the rooftop bar while taking in Kyoto’s night views. For breakfast, I chose a conger eel hot pot—something rare for a Hotel breakfast—and truly savored Kyoto’s summer flavors. We were also able to visit Kiyomizu-dera early in the morning when it was quiet and uncrowded, which made us very happy. It seems it became a wonderful memory for my sister as well. This was our second stay. Since our third son (our beloved dog) joined our family five years ago, we only choose Accommodations where we can stay together, so we’ve stayed at many pet-friendly places around the Kanto area. With new Accommodations opening all the time, there are only a few we’ve ever revisited—but this one is exceptionally satisfying, so we returned during the Obon holiday period. With pet-friendly Accommodations, there’s often something you have to compromise on, but this place is almost perfect. The balcony of our guest Room had an open-air Onsen bath, a sauna, a cold plunge bath, and a relaxation area with a shower—plus an open-air bath for dogs. Inside the Room, there was a theater room with two massage chairs and a dining room where you can enjoy meals in your Room. The French cuisine served there is truly delicious. Recently, more and more Accommodations have excellent Facilities, but I don’t know any other place where you can enjoy food of this quality in your Room with your dog. Once again, everything was absolutely delicious. If you’re looking for the best Accommodation to stay with your dog, I highly recommend giving this place a try.

We stayed for a Multiple Night Stay of four nights. Above all, this Accommodation is truly pet-friendly. We visited with both a dog and a cat, and they both seemed relaxed and happy. There were plenty of amenities for dogs and cats, plus facilities such as a dog run. We could stay with peace of mind, and all the staff clearly love animals, which made our time here even more special. The Japanese staff were wonderful as expected, and the international staff were also incredibly polite—so much so that we initially thought they were Japanese—always with warm smiles. It gave us the sense that the training and working environment here must be excellent. The staff deserve more than five stars. Meals are à la carte, so you can choose whatever you like each day in any amount you want. This was especially appreciated during our Multiple Night Stay, and everything was consistently above average in taste. They offer a great balance of both Japanese and Western dishes, so we never got bored. Every day was delicious. Alcohol at night at the bar, as well as drinks in the Room refrigerator, are included, which is very reassuring for those who enjoy drinking. In addition, 30 minutes of spa treatment per day was included; I even received a massage and felt truly healed. The Room was neither too large nor too small—just right for two people—and it was well designed and easy to use. The hot spring water left our skin smooth and glossy; it was excellent. Both the indoor bath and open-air bath are fed directly from the source (free-flowing), and we could adjust both volume and temperature using only the natural spring water. It’s pure luxury. These days many Hotels or Ryokan only allow smoking in designated areas, so being able to smoke on our private terrace attached to the Room is something smokers will really appreciate, especially if you want to have a drink on the terrace while enjoying a cigarette. Because the terrace is surrounded by high walls, our cat could also go for walks there safely. Cats tend to run off easily, so it’s rare to let them stroll freely—this was another great point. Our cat looked completely at ease. It was our first time visiting Kikuchi City. There are many wonderful places nearby including Kikuchi Gorge, and Aso is less than an hour away by car, making sightseeing very convenient. Since there is a university stable near this Accommodation, there may occasionally be a slight animal smell, but that isn’t an issue caused by this Accommodation itself. And since this is an Accommodation that pet lovers choose specifically because they travel with animals, I think it’s simply something not to worry about (it didn’t bother me). This is a fantastic Accommodation where you can truly relax with your pets. Thank you very much.

We visited during the Obon holidays, and the drive was not crowded at all. The Accommodation is in a great location, just a short walk to Irago Cape Lighthouse. Right in front is Koiji-ga-hama Beach, and we were able to relax at the Accommodation while enjoying the beautiful ocean view. The proprietress, the young proprietress, and all the staff were wonderfully pleasant and welcoming. We have stayed at many Ryokan and Hotels, but we think this place is the best. The food was also excellent, and we were completely satisfied with everything. We would like to take good care of the hibiscus we received on our way home—thank you very much. We would definitely like to visit again.

We stayed in Yokohama on the first day, visited Yokosuka on the second day, and decided to stay overnight on the Miura Peninsula. The Accommodation is a renovated historic building, and it beautifully preserves the original design from that time inside—it was truly atmospheric and moving. Our child was also surprised at how spacious and clean it was. Miura may not have the flashy feel of other tourist spots, but we were impressed by how many buildings have a nostalgic, old-fashioned charm. In the evening we went to a nearby seafood restaurant, and it was outstanding. I also highly recommend taking the Nijiiro Sakana-go boat tour. The staff at the Accommodation were very kind as well. We were completely satisfied with everything from start to finish. This time, we stayed to coincide with my eldest son and grandchild coming home. And on the day we checked out, we went ahead and made a Reservation for the following month to coincide with my second son coming home. In any case, we were completely satisfied with everything.

It was a wonderful Room with exceptional hospitality. The Room felt very clean, and when the morning sun shines through the turquoise-blue curtains, it creates a dreamy atmosphere. The interior is based on white tones and has great taste. Small items and amenities such as mugs and towels were stylish, and the space—with a coffee maker, toaster, and sofa—was beautifully designed. The complimentary snacks they had prepared were also a thoughtful touch. We booked the breakfast plan, and the ingredients included items from a local bakery, plus high-quality eggs and bacon. There are stylish cafés just a few minutes’ walk away, so it seems you could also enjoy lunch or dinner there. The location is excellent—you can walk straight from the Room to the beach, which is very convenient. They also provide beach sandals, floats, and bodyboards, so as long as you bring your swimsuit you’re all set for activities. A nearby convenience store sells goggles and fishing gear too, so it feels like you could come with almost nothing. After getting out of the ocean, you can go straight to the jacuzzi or the Goemon-style bath (cauldron bath), which was another great convenience. We rented the BBQ equipment; the stylish grill was easy to use, and even though it’s outdoors under a roofed area, it was more comfortable than expected. The bed linens—including sheets and duvet—were clean with crisp freshness, and the mattress was fluffy; we slept very comfortably. The staff provided polite service with quick and efficient responses. Above all else, the view from the Room is outstanding. The color of the sea is beautiful. It was only a one-night stay in this Accommodation, but we regretted not staying two nights—it was that satisfying. I’d love to recommend it to everyone… though part of me wants to keep it secret. To all staff members: thank you for such a wonderful time.

My wife and I stayed here as a reward after work. Everything was wonderful—the butler service, the food, and the atmosphere. The early evening with a hint of autumn and the refreshing mornings were both amazing. Staying for about two nights would be perfect. Next time, I’d like to try another Room as well. Thank you—my wife was very satisfied too. The meat miso we received was so good we couldn’t stop eating rice.

We stayed with four friends and were extremely satisfied! The entire Accommodation was very clean, and the Facilities—sauna, jacuzzi, and BBQ setup—were well equipped, so we could enjoy ourselves at the villa all day. The beach is also within walking distance, making a morning stroll feel great and letting us fully enjoy a refreshing getaway. The kitchenware and amenities were well stocked, so we had no inconveniences. We’d definitely like to stay here again when we visit Kujukuri!

As our daughter reached the age for her Coming-of-Age celebration, we stayed here as a family of four to mark the occasion. From the very beginning, we were impressed by the warm welcome and being served matcha tea and sweets. Although it’s close to Dogo Onsen, the property offers a beautiful, spacious, and tranquil atmosphere—truly a luxurious annex just as described. There are famous paintings and exquisite Lladró ornaments throughout, making every moment feel blissful! The Onsen was wonderful as well! We would love to visit again on another special occasion.

We were completely satisfied with both the Room and the meals. The meal for our dog was also a feast, making this a truly happy trip. We would definitely love to stay again.
