It was an absolutely amazing stay. I was truly impressed by the outstanding, well-equipped Facility that anticipated every need. The staff were very considerate with the luggage we sent in advance, prepared a pool for the children, and even when an accident happened, their first words were to check on us. Talking with friends around the barbecue, setting off fireworks with the kids under the sunset sky, and looking up at the stars late at night—every moment became a wonderful memory. My only regret is that because it was so hot, we couldn’t enjoy the outdoor facilities outside the cottage, such as basketball and the trampoline. We will definitely visit again next year. Thank you very much.

As we entered the country that day from overseas and it was quite a distance, getting there was a bit challenging, but after actually staying there, we were truly satisfied. Our train was delayed and we missed the shuttle bus time, but you waited for us at the station, which really moved us. All of the staff were very kind and took care of us warmly and attentively throughout our stay. The food was delicious, the water in the large public bath was clean, and in the quiet, relaxing atmosphere we were able to unwind at our own pace. Our whole family had a comfortable and enjoyable time, and it became a wonderful memory. We would love to make time to visit again. Thank you very much for giving us such a lovely stay.

I stayed for two nights on my first trip to Hakodate. The view was amazing, and everything—from the service to the Room—was excellent. The Hotel also offers loaner bicycles, and there are plenty of nearby options such as car rentals and convenience stores. It’s also within walking distance of the station. There’s a morning market just a short walk away, so I had breakfast there. When I arrived in heavy rain, they immediately lent me a towel, which really warmed my heart. Even though I went in and out many times a day, they always greeted me with a smile, saying “Have a nice day” and “Welcome back.” There was no waiting for the elevator, which made everything comfortable. The Room was spotless as well. This is a Hotel I would definitely want to stay at again on my next trip. Thank you very much!

This was my second stay at this Hotel, and once again everything was perfect. The hospitality is outstanding, and every member of the staff is truly impeccable. The interior design is tasteful, the meals are delicious, and I highly recommend this Hotel. Having lived abroad for many years and stayed at many top-class Hotels around the world, Kinugawa Kanaya Hotel is one of my favorites.

Thanks to the Diamond member benefit, we received a Room upgrade. The moment we stepped inside, the space was so generous that I couldn’t help but say, “Wow.” The interior was consistently styled with a Kyoto-inspired Japanese aesthetic, creating a wonderfully calm atmosphere. The indirect lighting was thoughtfully designed, and the Room felt especially lovely at night. The tableware included beautiful, like-new pieces from Noritake and HARIO. My personal favorite was the bath salts—soaking in the tub while surrounded by natural aromas was truly relaxing. Breakfast was delicious, and having it delivered to our Room made everything feel effortless. Rather than a Hotel stay, it felt like relaxing in a private residence. This time we stayed for one night, but it’s an Accommodation where I’d love to enjoy a Multiple Night Stay at a slower pace. All staff were polite and kind, which made us feel at ease. I would definitely like to stay again. Thank you very much for your hospitality!

A luxurious Facility where extraordinary koi swim. We were able to enjoy a sand bath, a ceramic bath experience, and a private open-air bath at no additional charge. All staff were kind and provided attentive service. The Japanese cuisine served at the Yakusugi cedar counter was exquisite, with tropical fruits used throughout that were as beautiful to look at as they were delicious. The entire property was spotless and impeccably maintained, and the star-filled sky we gazed at late at night from the free-flowing natural hot spring open-air bath in our room was beyond words.

We also used the lounge at the sister Hotel, and both lounges were great. At the station-front location, the salted squid and plum wine were delicious, and we went back for seconds several times. They also gave us a map showing where the nearest bus stop to the sister Hotel is and a bus timetable, which made it easy to use. There were many restaurants around the station-front location that all looked good, so it was hard to choose. The ramen shop next door always had a line as well, so I’d like to try it next time. The Room was spacious enough for three adults including my elderly mother to relax comfortably. We could only stay one night this time, but if we have another chance, we’d like to stay two nights. Since it was a hot season, it was also nice that there was Häagen-Dazs ice cream in the freezer. It was a bit disappointing that the washroom lighting felt slightly dim, but overall we were satisfied.

I love Okinawa and visit with my child more than once a year. I’ve stayed at most hotels there, and this is the kind of hotel that feels like a sensory breakthrough from the moment you step inside. Among hotels in Okinawa in the same class, it may well be the best in both service and facilities. The airport transfers to and from Naha Airport were both in an Alphard. On the way back, our foreign female driver provided such a comfortable ride. After dozing off on the way, we arrived at a lobby with a breathtaking view—enjoying a welcome drink while looking out over the beautiful sea. From our room as well, we had an uninterrupted view of blue skies and an emerald-green ocean stretching out before us. The private pool is also an infinity pool, so it felt wonderful no matter how many times we went in. There were floats for both adults and children as well. For dinner, we chose sushi kaiseki on the first night and French on the second. Wanting to relax in our room with our child, we asked to switch the sushi kaiseki to room service; they set it up side by side facing the window so we could enjoy it while watching the sunset—it was absolutely delicious. The presentation showed real craftsmanship, and everything was exceptionally fresh and flavorful! For French dinner, we were shown to a private room; again, we could unwind comfortably on a sofa while dining. It’s said to be ranked No. 1 on Ikkyu as an inn for gourmet dining—and I completely agree. It was beautiful French cuisine that truly highlighted each ingredient’s flavor. Even at luxury hotels there are often “kids’ menu” options that feel too childish, but here they wonderfully arranged a full-course meal for children—my child usually leaves food behind but finished everything this time. I don’t drink alcohol, but the lounge offered Okinawan spirits and beer along with bite-sized savory snacks and sweets that paired well—everything tasted great. They were also very warm toward my child throughout our stay. This has become a hotel I definitely want to return to!

It was a truly satisfying day in every way. All four private Onsens were wonderful, and we enjoyed them right up until one hour before check-out. We were also happy with the wide variety of complimentary drinks available at any time. Of course, every dish was delicious, and we especially appreciated the strong local character of the cuisine. This is an Accommodation we would love to visit again as soon as possible.

During Silver Week, we planned a trip with Lake Shikotsu on the first day and Sapporo on the second. We rented a car at New Chitose Airport on day one and enjoyed Hokkaido to the fullest on a driving tour. We were very satisfied with the all-inclusive stay at Lake Shikotsu Tsuruga Besso Ao no Za—the staff’s hospitality, the meals, and the in-room open-air bath were all excellent. Next time, we plan to stay at Lake Shikotsu Tsuruga Besso Ao no Za for both nights and do day-trip drives to Sapporo, Tomakomai, and other areas. Thank you again.

This time, I stayed for the fourth time to celebrate my birthday. I truly love this inn so much that I once gifted a stay here to my parents as well. The greatest pleasure of visiting is, without a doubt, the cuisine. Each dish is beautiful to look at and absolutely outstanding in flavor, and I’m moved every single time. Even my husband, who usually isn’t very interested in food, ends up saying “It’s delicious—this makes me want another drink,” and drinks a little too much (laugh). No matter how many times we come, it always makes us want to return just to enjoy these meals again. Since it was my birthday, they even arranged a wonderful celebration during dinner. The gorgeous presentation with gold flakes is apparently usually served with alcohol, but since I’m not great with alcohol they kindly prepared it with orange juice instead (first photo). They also gave me a celebratory gift and a commemorative photo—such warm thoughtfulness truly made me happy. And breakfast is exceptional as well. Not only dinner but breakfast is genuinely delicious; every time we are completely satisfied with every dish. Of course, everything beyond the food is wonderful too. The room is spotless and beautiful down to every detail, making it extremely comfortable. The room also has an open-air bath, which we love because we can relax and enjoy the hot spring together at any time without worrying about anyone around us. Meals are served at the same counter as other guests, but partitions are set between seats. Outside of meal times there are few chances to run into other guests, which makes it especially appealing for us to quietly enjoy unhurried time as a couple. All of the staff are always courteous, and thanks to their pleasant hospitality we can spend our entire stay feeling calm and relaxed. The cuisine, the room, and the hospitality—everything is excellent. It never disappoints no matter how many times we visit. Once again this birthday became an unforgettable and happy experience for me. I’m truly looking forward to returning. Thank you always.

Perched on a hill near Kawana Station, this Accommodation has a wonderful sense of charm. Even though it is upscale, the attendants were warm and approachable, making our stay truly comfortable. The Onsen baths are available both indoors and outdoors, and we could enjoy them at the same time; the water quality was excellent. The kaiseki dinner was outstanding—as expected of a renowned Ryokan—and we enjoyed it so much that we even had the late-night snack. The peaceful atmosphere, with occasional birdsong, was so soothing that we didn’t want to leave. We will definitely return.

Being welcomed back with “Welcome home” always puts me at ease from the moment I arrive at the front desk. It was very crowded during the Silver Week holidays, but even so, the staff’s warm hospitality—such as wiping my rain-soaked suitcase with a spotless white towel—meant so much to me. The bath was just right, and as always, the meals were delicious and beautifully presented. Whether it was the food or the wine, I truly enjoyed a deeply satisfying time. I have an intense workload ahead through next year, but when I’m worn out again, I’d love to come back for some relaxation.

I stayed here with my parents and my 7-month-old daughter. It was even more baby-friendly than I expected! They provided a diaper disposal bin, baby bath, baby soap, bed guard, Bumbo seat, and even bath toys. In addition, the dining area for both breakfast and dinner was a private room. With tatami flooring, we could relax and enjoy our meals without worrying too much even if our baby crawled around or made a bit of noise. They also helped warm up baby food and provided tableware and a high-low chair, which was incredibly helpful. The food was delicious—we were truly satisfied! The staff also spoke to our daughter often, which made us feel very welcome. I especially recommend this place for families with children.

Once again, I was very satisfied with everything—the cuisine, the hospitality, and the Facility—and was able to relax. Last time, I mentioned that the meat dish at dinner was a bit fatty and that I would appreciate a leaner option, and you kindly changed it to filet. Also, last time at breakfast, the delicious dried horse mackerel was served near the end of the meal, which was a little disappointing; however, this time there was no such issue and I was extremely satisfied. The soba served as a late-night snack during bar time was also delicious. The only disappointment this time was the bad weather—everything else was perfect. (As always, I ended up drinking too much.) I would love to visit again to relax. Thank you very much.

This was my third stay. Compared to before, the hospitality around the front desk had improved even more. Thank you for your thoughtful care. This time, I tried lunch at the 1F restaurant “P72” for the first time, and I was very satisfied with the comfortable atmosphere and service, as well as the beautifully presented and delicious dishes. Breakfast was outstanding as always. I was able to relax and fully enjoy my time in my Room. I look forward to visiting again.

This was our first stay, and thank you very much for preparing such a wonderful room! Our family had a great time. Since we have small children, we really appreciated the valet service on hot days, and we were truly happy when your staff kindly helped carry our plates to the table at the breakfast buffet while I was holding my child. We were also able to transfer our breakfast vouchers to the lunch buffet at your affiliated hotel next door, which was very helpful—especially on days when we had to head out early in the morning—so they didn’t go to waste. The hotel offers excellent value for money and well-equipped facilities, and it’s a place I would gladly recommend to friends and acquaintances. Thanks to you, it was a very satisfying trip. We would love to stay again.

All the staff were kind and helpful; the meals were outstanding, the Onsen was wonderful, and every aspect of the service showed thoughtful attention to detail—truly a lovely Accommodation.\nI also loved the tasteful selection of plants in the garden; the autumn berries added beautiful color, and I wanted to use it as inspiration for my own garden, so I took photos and used Google to find out the names of some of the trees.\nIn the morning, a varied tit even came by to visit, and I found myself soothed by this beautiful garden that never got boring no matter how long I looked at it.\nEverything was perfect from start to finish, and we were able to enjoy a truly luxurious time.\nI’d love to visit again in a different season. I visited with my 16-year-old Shiba Inu. With a private open-air hot spring bath with free-flowing water, a private dog run, and delicious meals, it had everything we could ask for and we were able to relax completely. The outdoor dog run and the path leading to it are neatly maintained with wood chips, and everyone at the inn was very kind to our dog—it was a wonderful, truly dog-friendly place to stay.

Everything is clean throughout.\nThe indoor open-air bath is very convenient and comfortable.\nThe meals are excellent in both quality and quantity. The service is also very polite, with no issues.\nWe stayed with children, and it was a great help that they proactively offered to provide a baby crib and bouncer.\nI’m glad we found such a wonderful Accommodation for the first time in a while.
