Thank you very much for taking such great care of us. The open-air bath and toilet in the Room were very clean, and we had a comfortable stay. We were also surprised that even the indoor bath was an Onsen. As we traveled with our grandchild, the pool was wonderful and our grandchild was delighted. Since this time was only a one-night stay, everyone was very disappointed, and we are thinking of staying longer next year. Although one of us became unwell, thank you sincerely for your attentive support. The Facility is new, yet it is a wonderful Accommodation that preserves traditional Japanese hospitality and service.

We stayed here to celebrate my wife’s birthday. We booked the Anniversary Plan, and in short, it was a truly wonderful stay that made us genuinely glad we chose to spend her special day here. What impressed us first was the outstanding hospitality of the staff. From arrival throughout our stay, everyone treated us with such warmth and care that we felt completely at ease. And above all, the food was exceptional. Both dinner and breakfast were absolutely delicious—not just tasty, but beautifully presented in a way that truly felt like “a feast for the eyes as well as the palate.” Each course made us excited for what would come next, and we enjoyed every moment of mealtime. As part of the Anniversary Plan, we also received many thoughtful touches. They prepared a carved watermelon with the character “Kotobuki” (meaning “celebration/long life”), offered an extra dish on the house, and even gave us a commemorative gift. Every gesture made us happy and felt like they were celebrating my wife’s birthday together with us. Our Room had an open-air bath and a terrace, which allowed us to relax as a couple without worrying about anyone around us—something we really appreciated. In addition, as an IKYU Diamond member benefit, champagne and Shine Muscat grapes were prepared in our Room as well. This was another delightful service. Breakfast the next morning was just as impressive as dinner—not only in flavor but also in presentation—leaving us satisfied until the very end. Most importantly, my wife was truly happy during this trip—that meant everything to me. On such a special occasion—a birthday—we were able to enjoy amazing cuisine, warm hospitality, and unhurried time together as a couple. This is an Accommodation that made us sincerely feel: “We’re so glad we chose this place.” Thanks to all of your staff, it became a memorable and wonderful birthday for both of us. Thank you very much. We would love to return again for another important anniversary.

The staff were very friendly, and the food was delicious. The Onsen water was also excellent. Since it was a weekday, there were few guests, so I could relax and enjoy the bath. If I had to mention one thing, the water temperature was a bit too hot, so I couldn’t stay in for long.

It was a wonderful stay. The serene atmosphere and the warm welcome from the staff were truly soothing, and soaking in the hot natural spring left me feeling refreshed from the inside out. The meals served in our Room were exceptional, and I was completely captivated by the delicious, beautifully presented dishes. I’ve already promised my mother and sister that we will definitely come again! I’m so glad we found such a lovely Accommodation.

We booked the Plan with dinner on a riverside dining platform, and not only was the meal excellent, but we also had a wonderful time chatting with a maiko, which became a great memory.\nThe in-house Facilities were also superb, and we especially enjoyed the Onsen twice.\nWe were truly moved by the warm hospitality of all the staff. I had always thought that if I were to stay in Hakone, it would be at Suishoen, and my wish finally came true—I was able to visit at last! It was exactly the Accommodation I had imagined, and I could truly feel the high quality in every aspect, making for a very fulfilling stay. I was especially looking forward to the meals—not only were they delicious, but they were also a feast for the eyes. Both dinner and breakfast were wonderful. That said, the corn rice at dinner felt a bit overdone; I think simple corn would have been enough. The Room was more spacious than I expected and very relaxing, and I thoroughly enjoyed the bath with a footbath feature. Above all, the staff’s thoughtful hospitality was outstanding—this was an Accommodation where I felt truly comfortable.

The building itself felt a bit old, and I noticed a slight odor inside, but the Onsen and seafood were truly outstanding. Since the large public bath alternates between men and women, I only used one side, but it was spacious and comfortable. The water left my skin smooth and moisturized—it felt amazing. There wasn’t a place inside the tub to sit (with about half your body out), so I couldn’t soak for too long, but the open-air bath had a great atmosphere and I could relax without worrying about others. Our Room came with a private open-air bath, and the tub was even larger than it looked in the photos—there was plenty of space for two people to stretch out comfortably. It might even fit around three people with ease. Best of all, it was free-flowing natural hot spring water, so fresh water kept pouring in continuously—it felt wonderfully luxurious and incredibly relaxing. The crab I’d been looking forward to was also delicious—I think it was my first time ever getting completely full from crab. I was very satisfied with the sashimi and the salmon at breakfast as well. Of course, the steak was also very juicy and tender... That said, it seems rice and miso soup at dinner were brought after we asked for them (I’m sorry—I must not have listened carefully because I was captivated by the beautiful crab right in front of me). By the time they arrived I was already quite full, so I wished I had requested them earlier. There were thoughtful touches throughout as well—like a footbath inside the property and self-serve coffee in the morning. Everyone at both the dining area and front desk greeted us with smiles and were very kind, so we felt comfortable throughout our stay; it ended up being a truly refreshing trip that helped us unwind. I would definitely like to stay again.

I stayed here last year to celebrate my birthday, and loved it so much that I returned again this year for my birthday celebration. This time, I truly appreciate your even more thoughtful hospitality. Thanks to you, I was able to relax wholeheartedly in the Room. This year’s concept was to take things slow at a Hotel. First, I enjoyed a Multiple Night Stay at a wonderful Hotel in Umekoji. Then I came here. The atmosphere is different, yet even better. It feels very calm and serene. I think it’s because you make the most of the location by the Kamo River and help guests experience Kyoto in such a comfortable way. Even though it’s right in the bustle of Shijo-Kawaramachi, this is a space where you don’t feel any of that at all—remarkable. Your affiliated HIYORI Ocean Resort Okinawa is also one of my favorites—a wonderful Hotel that lets you truly feel the beauty of Onna Village. And now SORANIWA Terrace Kyoto has won me over too! At this rate, I’ll probably be back again for my birthday next year.

There are five private open-air baths, all with ocean views. For this price, the convenient location near the station, private open-air baths, and two meals served in your Room offer excellent value for money.

The Onsen was great, and the source spring was a moor Onsen. The relaxation area (Therme no Mori) was also very nice. It’s a Facility like a large public bathhouse, so it can get crowded, but it’s still a place where you can truly unwind. It felt like the kind of Facility where you could happily spend the whole day just melting into relaxation.

This was my third stay. I was worried about road restrictions due to the heavy rain, but everything was fine. The meals were delicious, and there is a semi-open-air bath with a view of the fishing lights. I’m planning to visit by motorcycle next year.

On the day of our stay, unfortunately it was pouring rain, so we couldn’t go sightseeing. We were cold and soaked, but even though we arrived before check-in, they kindly let us wait in the lobby. They served us hot coffee, and soon after they prepared our Room early for us. Thanks to that, we could change out of our wet clothes and avoid getting sick. The proprietress and all the staff were very kind, and we had a truly comfortable stay. The food was delicious, the Onsen was wonderful—everything was perfect. We’d love to visit again.

I’ve stayed here many times, and this was the first time I was impressed that breakfast seating was open. Also, since it’s bonito season, they served a generous portion of delicious bonito sashimi in the morning! This is an area where even the grilled salmon is unbelievably good, so breakfast was already high quality—and then they added sashimi too. I was very satisfied! The Room and Facility are a bit old, but if that doesn’t bother you, I think it’s a great Accommodation. It’s also close to a convenience store.

Perhaps because there were few guests that day, the staff provided exceptionally attentive service, and it was truly comfortable to stay there. If I visit Oga again in the future, I would definitely like to stay here again.

I wanted to support a locally run, family-owned Accommodation, so I chose Irifune this time. The moment I stepped inside from the entrance, I was thrilled! After leaving the large public bath in the morning, I relaxed in the lobby with a cup of coffee. Spending unhurried time in the lobby while enjoying the traditional old house atmosphere was wonderful. The Room, the private bath in the Room, and the meals—everything was outstanding! I also purchased a pair of geta sandals. From now on, every time I wear them, I’ll remember Irifune and enjoy that lingering feeling in my everyday life. If I use them as indoor slippers, I’ll have more chances to wear them, so I plan to use them indoors. To all the staff: when I come back to Kumamoto, Irifune will be my only choice for a Reservation! From the warm hospitality to the excellent service from all the staff, we had a wonderful time. We also enjoyed unexpected activities such as the table tennis service, and the ocean view from our Room was beautiful—making it a truly memorable day. The meals offered a great variety, and we were able to fully enjoy many of Toyama’s local specialties. The evening course dinner was carefully prepared dish by dish, and we were extremely satisfied. One thing we hope will improve further is the overall cleanliness and odor inside the building. We stayed in a non-smoking Room, but noticed a slight smell of cigarette smoke on the floor. Since it is such a lovely Ryokan, improving this point would make the stay even more comfortable. Other than that, everything was truly wonderful—this is a Ryokan we would like to give five stars. It’s a place we would love to visit again with our family. We would be even happier if these points have been improved by our next visit.

Having stayed at retreat Hotels all over the whole country, I found this Retreat Onko Chishin to be outstanding in every way. The Room, bath, meals and drinks, and hospitality all delivered a high level of satisfaction, making for a truly pleasant stay. This Hotel has been reborn through the renovation of an existing Hotel, and the quality of the renovation and overall atmosphere were excellent.

At first, I felt the price was high, but after staying there, I was more than satisfied with the value. Both the Accommodation and the Room felt open and airy, and in a secluded, hideaway-like atmosphere, the staff’s warm smiles made my stay truly comfortable. The food was excellent and delicious, and the bowls and plates—beautifully chosen to match each ingredient—were also wonderful. You may get insects or leaves blowing in, but that’s only natural in such surroundings. Everything was kept very clean, so it didn’t bother me at all. It’s an Accommodation that makes you want to come back.

This was my first stay here. Above all, the Onsen were outstanding. I was able to enjoy a variety of baths— a clear, colorless iron-rich spring in the Room, a thick mixed sulfur and carbonated spring, and a gentle sulfur spring— and I was completely satisfied. The traditional Japanese meals made with mountain ingredients were also very delicious and easy on the stomach. I’m also grateful for the warm hospitality and smiles from all the staff. I would love to visit again. Thank you very much.

This was a wonderful Accommodation that made my first trip to Niigata truly special. While the building and furnishings showed their age, there were programs where we could enjoy local culture, such as shamisen performances and readings about the snow country, and thoughtful amenities like sake lees face packs, Japanese sake, and coffee, making it an Accommodation where we could fully enjoy Yuzawa. All of the staff, as well as the shamisen instructor, were outstanding. Thank you very much for your hospitality.
