The open-air bath at 6:00 a.m. was amazing. The clear weather was wonderful too. Being wrapped in morning mist—like bathing in the clouds—was also incredible. We’ll definitely be back.

It was busy because it was during the summer vacation season, but the bath was spacious, so it didn’t feel too crowded. The food was delicious, but I felt our table was a little far away. Overall, it was good!

The bath, the Room, and the meals were all excellent. The bath has a great view and is spacious, so you can relax and take your time. The catfish at the breakfast buffet was especially delicious, so I ended up eating a lot. All of the staff were very kind. (Thank you so much for sending my lost item back to me!) I will definitely stay here again!

The bath in the Room was great, and the private open-air bath was also wonderful. The meals were served as a course, so we were able to enjoy them while having a nice conversation. Although it can’t be helped that the elevator and other Facilities felt a bit old, everything was well cleaned overall, so we had a very comfortable stay. It was a very satisfying trip for us as a couple. Thank you very much.

After a tiring day of sightseeing, I contacted the Shuttle Service and they came right away, which was a huge help. The entire property was spotless, and the staff were very courteous. The Room had a kinsen hot spring bath with luxurious free-flowing water available 24 hours a day—I was truly impressed. I soaked many times and felt great every time. The kaiseki dinner, late-night tantanmen, and breakfast buffet were all delicious and left me completely satisfied. The staff member in charge of the tantanmen service was especially polite and provided outstanding hospitality. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of options, including many local specialties, which I really appreciated—I enjoyed it so much that I went back for seconds. The drink service in the lobby and in the Room was also very helpful. I was happy to find a wide selection of skincare amenities in the Room as well. Throughout my stay, there wasn’t a single unpleasant moment—I felt comfortable until the very end. At this price, it’s truly appreciated. I will definitely stay again next time. This was my first stay. The atmosphere was warm and homey, and all the staff welcomed us with bright smiles. The Facility is a bit old, but it is well maintained and spotlessly clean. The meals featured locally sourced ingredients, were beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. The Onsen warmed me through to the core and left my skin glowing. I soaked in it many times. I felt refreshed for the first time in a while. I’m happy to have found an Accommodation I’d love to stay at again. Thank you very much.

I’d been wanting to visit Japan’s highest-altitude Onsen for a long time, and after reading various Reviews, I chose this Accommodation. The Shuttle Service from Karuizawa Station was also a big plus. The indoor bath has some small windows partially open, so you can feel the breeze and enjoy it almost like an open-air bath. The open-air bath is about a 2-minute walk after going outside, so honestly I thought it might be a bit of a hassle. But once I got in, I forgot all about that. The view and the water were amazing. I will definitely come again! However, the wooden walkway on the way shows some wear, so if you have mobility issues, please be careful when walking in slippers. Also, after rain it’s downhill and may be slippery. The buffet also offered health-conscious options, and everything was delicious. Thank you to everyone at the Accommodation—the staff and the driver—for your hospitality.

We stayed here with our dog. It’s close to Miyajimaguchi, and to avoid the heat we took the ferry to Miyajima around 5:30 PM. The Itsukushima Shrine was truly impressive. Since our plan was No Meals Included, we got anago bento to-go from a nearby shop and ate it in our Room. We also appreciated the light complimentary breakfast. The Room was thoroughly cleaned, with no odors at all, and we couldn’t hear any noise from other rooms—so we had a very comfortable stay! We’d love to stay again. Thank you very much.

This was a wonderfully rustic Onsen that Onsen lovers will adore. The naturally gushing spring water flows abundantly, and you can truly feel the power of nature. It also gets very lively with day-trip visitors. We stayed with the conger eel (hamo) course, and what surprised us most—given the simple exterior—was how outstanding the cuisine was. It was like a high-end kaiseki meal: beautifully presented, with seasonal touches so refined it almost felt too beautiful to eat. The soup course even featured delicate dew-like droplets, and as we enjoyed an authentic kaiseki course, we were warmed by the chefs’ heartfelt hospitality. It was our first time having an all-hamo menu from start to finish in so many different preparations! Even delicacies like liver and swim bladder were included—proof of exceptional freshness. The hot pot ingredients featured white vegetables and tofu chosen to match the hamo’s translucent look; even that alone felt like early summer had arrived, and it was subtly garnished with fresh green maple leaves misted lightly for a dewy finish. We were truly moved. Our whole family agreed there’s no more luxurious hamo course than this. With spring quality worthy of being called a hidden hot spring and cuisine that delights both the eyes and palate, it felt incredibly indulgent—and we’re grateful it’s so close to Osaka. The staff were wonderful, and the Accommodation was impeccably clean throughout. This was the most impressive stay we’ve had in recent years!

The Facility was spotless, and everything—from the meals to the Onsen—was excellent. We also had the pool to ourselves, and the kids were very happy. The only small issue was that we had to put on slippers to use the sink in the Room; it would have been nicer if we could access the sink and toilet directly without changing footwear. The staff were kind and attentive during meals, making our stay very comfortable. We would love to stay again. Thank you for your hospitality.

Wearing a hat in the misty drizzle, I will never forget being able to fully enjoy the beautiful mountain stream and its free-flowing Onsen straight from the source. The abundant volume of hot water, like a geyser, was truly the height of luxury and made for an exceptional holiday. However, it was disappointing that some young people got heavily drunk in the river bath late at night and were shouting loudly, but when I reported it you responded immediately, which I appreciated. I was deeply impressed by your dedication to maintaining order at this traditional Ryokan even at the expense of sleep. I understand there are limits to judging guests in advance, but I feel it would be better to provide thorough reminders beforehand. Sorry for my blunt suggestion. I know it must be difficult with so many different kinds of guests. Still, I thought that filtering out preventable trouble as much as possible would also make things easier for your staff. After all, I want to enjoy this beautiful stream-side hot spring source in peace—and that tranquility is what makes the wonderful cuisine and Room truly shine.

The Accommodation itself is compact, but the detached annex is impressive and offers plenty of space. The meals were distinctive yet delicious. Each dish was thoughtfully prepared.

I stayed here because I wanted to relax in the Onsen. Since access between the Accommodation and the main building with the Onsen was only available until 22:00, it was disappointing that I couldn’t use the Onsen late at night or early in the morning, but otherwise I was satisfied. The set meals at the dinner dining area felt a bit pricey. Also, you need a smartphone to place orders. Because it’s surrounded by rice fields and feels quite isolated, it’s best to buy what you need before check-in. I believe the Hotel shop was only open until 21:30 as well. It’s a little inconvenient but acceptable. I’d like to stay again.

This was my fifth stay. I visited this time for my birthday. Because it was my birthday, they upgraded me to a suite Room, and I was truly touched by their thoughtfulness. The Room was spacious, spotless, and absolutely wonderful. As always, the meals were consistently delicious. The vegetables here are especially outstanding. It was my first time trying the egg tart, and it was perfectly flaky and very tasty. I don’t drink alcohol, but their decaffeinated coffee is excellent. When I asked for it, they even went out of their way to prepare and bring it to me, saying it’s “difficult to brew.” I really appreciated that kind of attentive service. For those who do drink alcohol, I think this Hotel must feel like heaven. All of the staff are kind and courteous. In particular, the front desk service was exceptional. Since I’ve stayed several times before, they skipped unnecessary explanations when appropriate—flexibly adjusting to the situation—which I found wonderful. The bath area was also well cleaned, and I’m happy that Sekkisei amenities are available. Before entering the bath, I heard another guest mention that something had run out, but it seemed to be replenished frequently; by the time I finished bathing, it had been properly restocked. The only disappointment this time was that because of the rain I couldn’t see Mt. Daisen, but the night view toward Yonago was beautiful. After five stays here in total, once again I felt this is an Accommodation where you’ll want to return again and again.

My daughter, who lives far away, was able to come home during the holiday, so we stayed on 9/20 during Silver Week. At first, we had made a Reservation at another Hotel because we planned to go grape picking in Fukushima and then travel to Morioka. However, with the typhoon making the weather uncertain, we kept considering a closer plan until the last minute. When an opening came up for a Room with an open-air bath, we quickly made a Reservation here. Since our family travels entirely by car, changing our schedule gave us extra time. We arrived early and planned to take a walk nearby, and the parking staff kindly recommended some spots for us. The footbath was very relaxing. The open-air bath in the Room does not have a washing area, but it wasn’t an issue—washing first at the large public bath or using the indoor bath in the Room was enough. Dinner and breakfast are buffet-style. When traveling as a family of four, we usually choose Accommodations with buffets, so we truly appreciate Itoen Hotel for its reasonable pricing. Some people have various opinions about the food, but if you search under the same conditions (a Room with an open-air bath), most places cost about twice as much or more than Itoen Hotel. If you’re dissatisfied, it simply means you should increase your budget. The Tsukimi Fair set dishes and—during Silver Week—the bluefin tuna and roast beef sushi were especially popular. The ramen was also delicious; since this is Fukushima, perhaps it had a Kitakata-style soup? Our family was very satisfied. Because of the typhoon’s impact, we decided to relax at the Hotel. We enjoyed soaking in the Onsen many times, eating until we were full, winning prizes in the game corner arcade area, and having fun playing table tennis—it was a wonderful stay. Since I made this Reservation in such haste, I caused trouble due to my own mistake. Also after checking out and leaving, my daughter realized something important to her was missing. When we turned back and returned to the Hotel staff immediately told us it had been found at the shop counter—this truly helped us so much. Thank you very much for your kind assistance. Lastly I would like to express my sincere thanks to everyone—the person who handled my call regarding my mistake during Reservation booking as well as all staff at reception front desk parking restaurant shop housekeeping and throughout this Hotel. Both dinner and breakfast were excellent. The staff were also very pleasant. The baths were not too crowded, so it was comfortable.\nIt was a bit inconvenient that we had to change into slippers inside the building, and I couldn’t figure out how to request the soft-serve ice cream (I should have asked at the front desk), so I wasn’t able to use it even once. Still, even with that, I was very satisfied for this price.

I stayed here last year as well. This time, I was looking forward to it because the dining had changed to a buffet. It’s an à la carte buffet where you order each dish one by one, and I was surprised at how thoughtfully crafted each menu item was. Of course, the flavors were exactly to my taste. They also offer wines and sake that pair well with each dish. What I love about this place is that it isn’t very large, so they can provide this kind of attentive service—I was really impressed. And of course, dining while watching the sunset is a truly luxurious experience. I’d love to stay again. Honestly, I always admire the chefs—every property in this group serves food that perfectly suits my tastes.

When we arrived at Komaki Port, it was pouring rain and we were worried about what lay ahead, but the staff’s bright smiles instantly put us at ease. They gave us a detailed tour of the Accommodation, which truly impressed us. The open-air bath was challenging in the rain, but it turned into a unique experience we wouldn’t normally have, and that made it special in its own way. The food was more than we could finish, with outstanding quality, and there were many moments when the staff’s thoughtful care really moved us. The Room had just been renovated and was a very satisfying space. However, at night when using the Room’s open-air bath, we did notice insects being drawn to the lights. Seeing all the staff waving goodbye as we left made this an Accommodation we definitely want to visit again. Thank you very much.

The Room, bath, and meals were all wonderful, and we were very satisfied. However, the Wi-Fi listed was not accessible at all, so I think it needs improvement. Still, we treated it as a digital detox and were able to relax. Thank you for your hospitality.

The Room with a pool and open-air bath was wonderful, and the meals were delicious. We were lucky with the weather, so we could swim in the pool, warm up in the bath, enjoy dinner, then take another bath—truly relaxing. When we weren’t in the pool, we could unwind in a hammock and take it easy. They provided insect repellent spray and mosquito coils, so dealing with bugs wasn’t much of an issue. We enjoyed it when our child was little as well, but even now that they’re older, being able to spend time together made it truly meaningful. Since we stayed for two nights, we went out for lunch during the day, but I thought that if a lunch box could be delivered to the Room, we could have relaxed without going out. Still, the places we visited for lunch were delicious, so I took it positively as part of sightseeing in Ibusuki. I’d love to stay again whenever we want to relax.
