All the staff were cheerful and kind, making our trip even more enjoyable. The Hotel was a little hard to find, but the Facility was more than sufficient for pets. In the morning, we took a walk down the stairs from the dog run and found Lake Hamana—it felt wonderful. We also enjoyed an excellent full-course meal. As for the Room, it was unnecessarily spacious for us as a couple, so next time we may choose a smaller Room. In such an elegant setting, sipping complimentary sparkling wine alone in the lounge in the evening while looking out at Lake Hamana and the sunset was pure bliss. This is a Hotel we would definitely love to visit again.

Stayed with my Yorkshire Terrier and mother. The interior has a European feel down to the details, creating a wonderful atmosphere. The room is spacious enough, and there was no unpleasant smell. The onsen in the room allows for easy access to a relaxing bath, which was very enjoyable. We only had breakfast during our stay, but the meal on the second day was very delicious. For dinner, please note that you need to choose such a plan or make a reservation in advance; ordering after arriving at the hotel seems difficult. Dinner costs 10,000 yen per person, which felt a bit expensive. However, there are no nearby places within walking distance for dining out easily, so please keep this in mind.

This was our first stay as a couple with our dog. From the moment we arrived, the owner and all the staff welcomed us with thoughtful care and warm smiles, and any tension quickly melted away, leaving us feeling at ease and at home. We were soothed by the free-flowing natural hot spring Onsen in our room, and enjoyed the calm retro-modern atmosphere throughout the property that felt like stepping into an anime or fairy-tale world. While savoring outstanding, healthy, locally sourced cuisine, we could almost feel impurities gently leaving our bodies and energy returning. We were able to truly relax both body and mind. We will definitely be back.

We were fortunate to have great weather, and we were soothed by the view from the window in our high-floor Room with a wonderful outlook. The Room was clean, the amenities were well stocked, and the staff were kind, so we had a very comfortable stay. We also enjoyed the projection mapping displayed on the Hotel’s exterior.

The Ryokan offers excellent hospitality, a clean and beautiful interior, and courteous service, resulting in a very high level of overall satisfaction as a Ryokan. In addition, as a dog lover, I was deeply impressed by how they accommodated us when traveling with our dog and how they treat dogs with great care and respect rather than “just as dogs.” The Facilities and meals were excellent as expected, and the Onsen was also outstanding; it was our dog’s first Onsen experience, but we were extremely satisfied throughout. It even felt like our dog’s paw pads became softer and their coat improved, so the Onsen benefits seem truly wonderful.

We stayed one night at the newly opened Kakoi to celebrate our dog’s birthday. The hospitality of all the staff was excellent, and the young female staff member in charge of our room was very attentive. From check-in to check-out, we had a truly comfortable stay. We were satisfied with everything—the room, the bath, the meals, and the service. Our dog enjoyed it too. We would love to visit again.

We stayed in the West Wing with my parents, siblings, nieces and nephews, and our family—6 adults, 3 children, and 2 dogs. Everyone was thrilled, and it became a wonderful travel memory. As we were celebrating a special occasion, we asked for balloon decorations and to purchase fireworks. For meals, we hired a private chef. Inamuragasaki holds many memories for us. With the ocean right in front of us—and no power lines visible from inside—it was truly a special location. Since the kids are still small, they were overjoyed to use the rooftop jacuzzi like a pool instead of going into the sea. The adults could watch them safely and relax while enjoying the ocean view in complete comfort. The food was also excellent—hiring a private chef was absolutely the right choice. We also got to try out karaoke that you’re considering introducing as a service. Our child who loves singing was delighted and held onto the microphone nonstop. At night we enjoyed fireworks and made so many great memories with the kids. Everything was prepared in such a comfortable setting—easy for adults and fun for children. Our surfer family members even went into the ocean twice. It truly was an amazing place. We highly recommend it for family trips. We will definitely be back again. Thank you very much.

I heard this is the oldest property in Reggina. The building did feel a bit dated, but it was kept very clean. The bedding was comfortable and I slept well. The staff were especially wonderful. Reggina is consistently pet-first, which made us feel at ease. Both dinner and breakfast were Japanese-style and very delicious.

We stayed for one night during the Obon holiday period. The front desk staff warmly welcomed us. The Room felt very new and was impeccably clean, so we had a very comfortable stay. It was great to have both yukata and pajamas available. They also quickly exchanged the yukata size for us, which was very helpful. We headed to the bath right away. The large public bath was very clean, and we loved that the shower kept running without having to press the button repeatedly! Bathing while looking at the castle was wonderful. The hair dryers in the changing area were ReFa. The muscat vinegar drink in the post-bath lounge was so delicious that even our children—who usually find fruit vinegar drinks too sour—went back for seconds. Since our Room included lounge access, we used the massage chair there, enjoyed some drinks, and felt refreshed. Also, the bed in our Room was incredibly comfortable—I may have slept better than I ever have while traveling. I think it’s a great fit for those who like pillows that are fluffy, soft, and low-profile. The next morning we had breakfast at Mimasaka Kitchen. We already knew it had a good reputation, but it exceeded our expectations—the lightly seasoned side dishes and wide variety of desserts that weren’t overly sweet were more than satisfying. Even better were the onigiri made by one of the staff members—perfectly light and fluffy—and our whole family couldn’t stop praising them. Overall, we were extremely satisfied with this Accommodation. Thank you very much for taking such good care of us during our stay.

We stayed for one night in early September. The weather was cool, with cicadas still singing, and morning and evening walks were very pleasant. The baths were both relaxing; I personally preferred the Kura bath. We also used the foot massage machine after bathing. Dinner was an all-you-can-eat mochi pork shabu-shabu course, and even with the kaiseki dishes included, it was so delicious that we went back for seconds! The slices were thick yet tender, with no odor—truly excellent. The dining Room was a private Room, so we could enjoy our meal calmly together with our dog. Our dog’s meals also looked delicious—honestly, I felt like I could have eaten them myself. Breakfast was of course great as well, with plenty of side dishes that paired perfectly with rice. Refills were available, and we were very satisfied. After breakfast we settled the bill, and checkout was smooth. The Japanese-style Room was on the smaller side but comfortably cozy. I usually prefer beds, but I slept well on the futon too. The door used an auto-lock keypad system, which made it easy not having to manage a key—very convenient. If we have another chance, we would definitely like to stay again. Thank you very much.

We truly enjoyed an elegant time as a couple while traveling with our pet. The Accommodation Fee was higher because we had a pet, but staying at the Hotel we had long dreamed of was wonderful, and we made the happiest memories. Our Room had an open-air bath and a bathing tub for dogs as well, and after filling it with five buckets of Onsen water, our pet looked warm and very comfortable. Before going to bed, we soaked once more in the Room’s open-air bath while watching a subtitled foreign film on the Room’s TV through the glass window, enjoying an extraordinary sense of luxury. We also loved the meals—Japanese cuisine is our favorite—and we were both very satisfied. I hope to visit again someday, and next time I would definitely like to stay in the main building where dogs are not allowed—those lingering feelings remain with me. We stayed here for the first time with our dog to celebrate our daughter’s birthday. The welcome drink and dessert were very delicious! The welcome treat for dogs also seemed tasty—our pup finished it in no time! There’s also a drink bar available at certain times, which was great. They even have alcohol, which was the best!! The dog run was air-conditioned, so it was comfortable even in midsummer. Our dog ran around until completely tired out. Dinner is buffet-style, so it’s hard to decide what to eat (lol). The roast beef and sashimi served as a one-plate set at the table were amazing! Alcohol is available for an additional fee, but the food is so good you can’t help wanting a drink (lol). You can dine together with your dog, and there’s also a buffet just for dogs, so we really enjoyed the meal. Since it was our daughter’s birthday, we ordered a cake for an additional fee, and it was delicious as well! The staff celebrated with us too, and our daughter was thrilled! You can also use a private bath. We used it this time; we had 90 minutes, so we could relax without rushing. Dogs are allowed in the private bath too, which is wonderful! There were post-bath drinks and ice cream in the fridge—also fantastic! It’s well worth paying the extra fee! By the way, I also used the large public bath in the morning. The view was great, and it felt wonderful bathing while looking out over Lake Hamana! The breakfast sandwiches were filling and very tasty! They come with pudding too—again, amazing! One of the reasons this Hotel felt so good is definitely how pleasant all of the staff are!! Everyone we met was smiling; they talked to our dog and played with him too. Our pup got lots of love! If I had to mention something negative: although parts have been renovated, there were some areas where you could feel that the building itself is old and showing its age. But personally, there were far more positives than anything else. How easy it is to stay with your dog here, how great the staff service is, how delicious the food is, how relaxing the baths are—we went home satisfied as a whole family! I’m glad we chose this Hotel for our first overnight trip with our dog. We’d love to stay again!!

This was our second stay. The location is convenient from Old Karuizawa and Karuizawa Station, and being in a quiet villa area makes it perfect for walks. We truly appreciated the frequent Shuttle Service by car from Karuizawa Station. All Hotel staff showed thoughtful attention and considerate care for both guests and dogs, which really impressed us. Whenever we travel with our dog, we will definitely stay at Le Chien Kyukaruizawa Hotel again. We were completely satisfied with everything—the meals, the Onsen, the shop, and even the dog photo booth. Thanks to this Hotel, our 2-night, 3-day trip to Karuizawa became a wonderful memory. This was my first stay. Since there is no toilet, I rated the Facility 4, but the main house is nearby so it wasn’t much of an issue. The dome tent was comfortable, and even the heavy rain from a linear precipitation band didn’t bother us at all. The furnishings such as the chairs and lamps were lovely, the meals were delicious, and we were able to relax with our dog. All of the staff were always smiling and responded politely. Afterward, I contacted you because I had forgotten my hat, and you handled it right away. I’d love to visit again.

The accommodation was stylish, clean, and comfortable, and we were able to relax. It was also fun to find the many photo spots for our dog throughout the property. The dog run was spacious and well maintained. It’s also close to the sea, and we enjoyed walking along the beach. Above all, the food was delicious! It’s rare to find a dog-friendly place where you can enjoy such authentic cuisine. We heard the menu changes with the seasons, so we’d love to visit again.

This was our first trip with our pet. They loved the private dog run and didn’t want to come back into the Room. It became a truly memorable trip for us.

I stayed here last March as well, and it was so amazing that I booked again. With beautiful ocean views from every room, you can relax and unwind with your dog. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious, offering excellent value for money. The rice in particular was cooked perfectly—truly outstanding—and the seasonal chestnut rice was incredible! It would be even better with a hot spring, but the bath with an ocean view was wonderful too. With an affordable price, lovely rooms, and great meals, this is a place I want to keep coming back to. This was my first stay here with my son’s family of five. The Room felt very spacious, with high ceilings and plenty of room, so my grandchildren were thrilled and ran around happily. The small space on the second floor also had a wonderful view of Mt. Asama right in front of us, and it was truly relaxing to enjoy a drink while playing my favorite Western music. My grandchildren can be quite sensitive, so we choose our overnight stays very carefully, but this time they liked it so much that they asked me, “When are we coming again?” I’d love to return again soon. The staff were kind and efficient in preparing everything for us, and their attentive service made our stay very comfortable. It was truly a wonderful night. Thank you very much.

My spouse and I stayed with our two dogs. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious. The dog meals also seemed tasty—our dogs finished them in no time. We were happy that the staff treated our very energetic dogs kindly. Everyone we interacted with—the front desk, the restaurant staff, and the Room service staff—was pleasant and welcoming. We stayed in a Room with a private garden, but unfortunately it rained, so we’d like to come again on a sunny day. Thank you very much.
