We arrived a little early, kindly left our car, and took a stroll around the area. Right away, we visited Suwa Taisha Shimosha Akimiya Shrine next door. In the backstreets of this historic townscape, you can find Onsen springs here and there—perfect for wandering at leisure. Both inside and outside the property felt very clean, showing careful management throughout. The staff’s smiles, service, and conversation were all refined; we truly felt their hospitality and attentiveness, which made our stay very comfortable. From the Room we stayed in—named “Kirishima”—we enjoyed a view of the grove surrounding Suwa Taisha Shimosha Akimiya Shrine, full of charm and atmosphere. Both dinner and breakfast featured local ingredients, and everything was delicious. We could also sense how dedicated the staff were, which made dining even more enjoyable. Bathing in the panoramic large public bath while looking out over the townscape glowing at dusk was exceptional. The water was a gentle Onsen that seemed to softly cling to the skin. Although it wasn’t in our original plans, we stopped by Harmo Museum about 7–8 minutes away by car after receiving a recommendation as we checked out. Driving along the well-maintained lakeside of Lake Suwa and enjoying wonderful paintings became a great memory for us. It was a truly relaxing Accommodation for adults—wonderful in every way. We stayed as a family of three. We were extremely satisfied with every aspect of our stay—the atmosphere of the Facility and the attentive service from the staff. The French course featuring duck, which we had requested in advance, was carefully prepared dish by dish. Not only was it delicious, but the presentation and ingredient pairings were outstanding—truly showcasing the chef’s talent. Recently, we often choose “Sakagura,” and in any case it is wonderfully quiet. The entire building has a calm presence, allowing us to relax and enjoy unhurried time away from everyday life. As always, all staff members were kind and courteous. Their thoughtful attention to detail could be felt throughout our stay, and we were comfortable from start to finish. Once again, we felt this is a truly wonderful Accommodation where the cuisine, Facility, and service are all in perfect harmony. Thank you very much.

It was our first time staying here!! Our dog was thrilled with the spacious yard. In the evening, we relaxed with a BBQ and a campfire—such a great time. There were also drinks and amenities provided, so it’s a perfect 100/100!! We went ahead and made another Reservation. We look forward to staying again next time!!

It was a very satisfying trip to Shirahama. This Accommodation is in an excellent location, close to Shirarahama Beach. The Room was thoroughly cleaned, and we were very satisfied. We love Onsen, so we were happy with the large public bath here. The food was delicious as well. All the staff were attentive and helpful—thank you very much. It was an Accommodation that exceeded its price. We were also blessed with good weather and could relax at our leisure. It’s an Accommodation that makes us want to come again.

This was a truly wonderful Accommodation. Our family takes 2–3 trips a year to an Onsen Accommodation that we can reach from Tokyo for one night, usually spending around ¥30,000–¥40,000 per person. My wife chooses the Accommodation each time, but lately none have been memorable enough to stand out—until now. For the first time in a while, we found an Accommodation we genuinely want to return to. Many of the staff are from Southeast Asia, but they told us they have passed JLPT N1 and also undergo a full year of training. We never once had any trouble communicating. I previously lived in Thailand for about five years, so I already knew people from Southeast Asia are often even more diligent and hardworking than Japanese people—but I was still impressed by just how much care they showed. We had an extremely comfortable stay. These days many staff don’t wear name tags (perhaps due to measures against customer harassment), so I didn’t catch anyone’s name, but I would especially like to thank the woman in charge of our Room for her wonderful hospitality and thoughtfulness. The heartfelt send-off by all staff after checkout truly moved us. As for the Onsen, both the water quality and bath area were honestly fairly standard, but everything was very clean. One thing I did notice: it’s great that you don’t need to bring towels into the bath area, but you still need things like a change of underwear or your phone—so in the end we carried them in a plastic grocery bag. Many other Onsen provide a larger drawstring pouch for this purpose; I would appreciate having one available in the Room. Also, my wife mentioned that she felt uneasy about how dark it was on the way to the large bath and inside it as well. Lastly, we felt the air conditioner was slightly loud—just sharing this as feedback. And most importantly: the meals were outstanding! The balance, portion size, and taste were all impeccable—nothing at all to complain about. I’m a big eater and often find meals at Accommodations not quite enough; this time I shared small portions of my wife’s meal with our son as well and still felt about 90% full—in other words, very satisfied without being overwhelmed. While breakfast is often disappointing at many places, breakfast here was also excellent—especially because it wasn’t that typical thin and overly crispy dried horse mackerel you often see elsewhere. And above all—the wasabi was delicious! Being able to get refills freely was fantastic. In any case, we definitely want to come again. Thank you very much.

I had a wonderfully relaxing stay at a comfortable pace. It was quiet and spotless throughout, and the Onsen was incredibly open and wonderful. Every meal was deeply delicious. The staff were also very pleasant and welcoming. I feel as if both my body and mind have been refreshed. I can hardly believe how reasonably priced it is. Thank you very much. I will definitely return.

Both the interior and exterior are new, clean, and functional. The parking lot is spacious, making it easy to park. The beer and sake after a bath were excellent. I tried four types of sake, and all of them were delicious. All the meals were delicious as well—the Tamba black soybean tempura was outstanding. They also had everything I wanted to drink—beer, sake, wine, and shochu—so I ended up drinking a little too much.

This is our third year in a row staying here, and thanks to you we were able to relax again this time. The delicious sweets and tea served upon arrival, the beautiful greenery of the trees visible throughout the property, the clean and comfortable Room, the spacious open-air bath in the Room, the large public baths and private baths—each with its own unique atmosphere—and the meals that were a delight to look at and, of course, tasted wonderful—everything was outstanding. We are also grateful to all of your staff for their consistently pleasant hospitality. We are already looking forward to our next visit.

This was our second stay, and we visited as a family of five—my mother, my wife, and our two children. The service, meals, Onsen, and thoughtful attention to detail were all outstanding, and every member of our family was completely satisfied with the stay. Above all, seeing how happy my mother was made me especially glad we chose this Accommodation. Thanks to the warm hospitality of the staff, we were able to relax together as a family and enjoy a comfortable time that became a wonderful memory. I often visit Kamakura. This Hotel is in a great location, and this time I chose a tatami Room, which was very nice. The soba restaurant on the first floor was refined, spacious inside, and the food was delicious. The staff were also very pleasant and helpful. I would like to stay here again.

We stayed to celebrate the youngest of our three sons’ birthday—this was about our fifth visit. The room has evolved into a family room, and with the slide, swing, and bouldering wall, they played nonstop. All three were very happy and said they want to come again and stay again. Thank you as well to K for taking such great care of us during our meals—it made the memories even more special. Next time, we’d love to visit for our second son’s birthday. Thank you in advance.

We had to change our travel Plan due to our own circumstances, and we truly appreciate your courteous and prompt assistance. This time, we chose Kikunoya because we wanted to take our time sightseeing in Miyajima. Its convenient location near Itsukushima Shrine and Daisho-in allowed us to enjoy the area with the Hotel as our base. Not only at the front desk but also during the Shuttle Service ride, we were able to hear stories and helpful local tips about Miyajima, which made our visits even more enjoyable. I visited Shibu Onsen during the quieter period just after the Obon holidays. It was a very clean Onsen Ryokan, with the Room, amenities, and baths all well maintained. The level of service was just right, and I had a comfortable stay. As for the meals, I thought the adult dishes were good, but I wish there had been more creativity in the children’s meals. They consisted of fried foods such as sausages, frozen chicken, and French fries, and my child hardly ate any of it.

The French cuisine here is delicious. The meat is especially tender and melts in your mouth. According to the sommelier, they put a great deal of effort into their meat dishes. The sommelier’s sense of humor made the experience even more enjoyable. I was able to buy butter from Oratche Farm! I’d be happy to see you again.

Although it is a bit far from the nearest public transportation, the location is quiet and within walking distance of Glover Garden and Oura Cathedral. It seems to have opened fairly recently, but the Hotel staff’s hospitality was outstanding. We had both breakfast and dinner, and the creative, innovative menus skillfully blended Western and Japanese flavors with excellent quality. The restaurant also appears to be available even if you are not staying overnight, so it’s a great option to consider for your stay or dining in Nagasaki.

I stayed here for one night during a 3-night, 4-day trip. The buffet was tastier than at the other Accommodations I stayed at, and the portion size was just right. For guests arriving by motorcycle, posting on social media came with a complimentary drink service. The Facility feels a bit dated, but I recommend it for touring.

I was able to step away from my busy daily routine and enjoy a calm, high-quality 3-day, 2-night stay. The front desk staff’s polished service was truly pleasant, and I felt reassured from the moment I arrived. The Room was kept beautifully clean and well arranged, and I could sense thoughtful attention to detail throughout. I believe this is an appealing Accommodation, perfect for adults who want to relax quietly in Kamakura. Also, the email replies to my inquiries (before my stay) were very prompt, which was extremely helpful.

We stayed here to celebrate a proposal—one of life’s most important milestones. What impressed us most during our stay was the thoughtful attention from everyone, especially the person in charge. For the surprise proposal, they handled everything flexibly to match the situation, including preparing and handing over the cake and bouquet, which allowed me to feel at ease on the day. Thanks to that support, it became an unforgettable, truly wonderful time. Every dish was genuinely delicious, and the explanations were perfectly paced—not too long or too short—so we could enjoy not only the flavors but also the dining experience itself. The atmosphere inside the Accommodation and the views were also outstanding, and we were able to relax from the heart. Above all, we were so happy that their desire to make our stay memorable came through in every interaction. Thanks to them, both my partner and I naturally found ourselves saying, “Let’s definitely come back for anniversaries,” and it became two irreplaceable days for us. I am truly grateful that we could welcome such an important moment of our lives at this Accommodation. This is a wonderful Accommodation I can confidently recommend to anyone who wants to spend special time with someone important—whether for a proposal or a wedding anniversary. Next time we visit, I hope we can return as husband and wife.

I stayed here with my child. The building blends beautifully into a quiet, peaceful town, and its wonderful atmosphere instantly soothed both body and mind after a long day of walking. Both dinner and breakfast were cooked right in front of us, making for an enjoyable, delicious, and truly memorable time. I’m really glad we chose to stay here. Thank you very much.

I stayed in a double Room with my daughter. All of the staff were polite and very pleasant. The key was a standard type, and while the Room had a slightly retro feel that showed its age, it felt clean and didn’t bother me at all—perhaps because everything was so thoroughly cleaned. I could even tell how careful the housekeeping was from the way the hair dryer cord was neatly wrapped. I really appreciated being able to enjoy a delicious breakfast for free.
